반도체 산업 공정가스의 혼화성에 따른 반응성 고찰 (Reactivity Considerations with Miscibility of Process Gases in Semiconductor industry)

  • 반도체 산업에서 많은 종류의 화학물질 사용으로 인한 독성물질 누출과 화학물질간의 혼화에 따른 화재 폭발 등에 의한 화학사고의 위험성이 증가하고 있다. 화학물질의 혼화에 따른 반응성을 평가하는데 실험적 방법이 가장 신뢰성 있지만, 모든 화학물질을 실험을 통하여 평가하는 것은 시간적, 비용적인 제한이 있다. 본 연구에서는 반도체 산업에서 주로 사용되는 공정가스의 위험성 추정하기 위해 미국 NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration)과 EPA에서 개발한 CRW(Chemical Reactivity Worksheet) 3.0 프로그램을 사용하여 공정가스의 반응성을 고찰하였다. 이들 연구 결과는 반도체산업의 공정가스의 혼화성에 따른 반응성 정보와 저장캐비닛의 가스 실린더 보관에 관한 KOSHA 기술지침 작성에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다.

학교수학과 어린이의 수학 지식에 대한 고찰 - 초등학교 1학년 덧셈을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Strategies of Addition in the 1st Year Elementary School Students)

  • 본 논문은 교육과정에서 초등학교 1학년 학생들에게 제시하고 있는 덧셈의 내용을 살펴보고 질문지와 인터뷰를 통해 덧셈의 학습 이전에 실제로 어린이들이 덧셈에서 사용하며 선호하는 전략을 알아보고 바람직한 수학 교수 학습의 방향에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 현행의 교육과정은 학습 초기부터 표준 알고리즘을 중심으로 지도 하도록 되어 있고, 교사들은 이러한 지식을 학생들의 수학적 성향과 무관하게 표준 알고리즘을 학생들에게 암암리에 강요하고 있는 실정이다. 교사는 학생들이 어떤 수 세기와 수 개념 단계에 이르렀는지 파악하고 그들의 수개념과 표준 알고리즘간의 효과적인 결합을 위해서 학생들의 풀이 전략을 좀 더 심층적으로 관찰할 필요가 있으며, 학생들의 비형식적인 지식을 형식적인 수학에 유연하게 접목하는 시도를 끊임없이 해야할 것이다.

오염하천의 자동보정을 위한 QUAL2Kw 모형의 적용과 유전알고리즘의 매개변수에 관한 민감도분석 (Application of the QUAL2Kw model to a Polluted River for Automatic Calibration and Sensitivity Analysis of Genetic Algorithm Parameters)

  • The QUAL2K has the same basic characteristics as the QUAL2E model, which has been widely used in stream water quality modeling; in QUAL2K, however, various functions are supplemented. The QUAL2Kw model uses a genetic algorithm(GA) for automatic calibration of QUAL2K, and it can search for optimum water quality parameters efficiently using the calculation results of the model. The QUAL2Kw model was applied to the Gangneung Namdaecheon River on the east side of the Korean Peninsula. Because of the effluents from the urban area, the middle and lower parts of the river are more polluted than the upper parts. Moreover, the hydraulic characteristics differ between the lower and upper parts of rivers. Thus, the river reaches were divided into seven parts, auto-calibration for the multiple reaches was performed using the function of the user-defined automatic calibration of the rates worksheets. Because GA parameters affect the optimal solution of the model, the impact of the GA parameters used in QUAL2Kw on the fitness of the model was analyzed. Sensitivity analysis of various factors, such as population size, crossover probability, crossover mode, strategy for mutation and elitism, mutation rate, and reproduction plan, were performed. Using the results of this sensitivity analysis, the optimum GA parameters were selected to achieve the best fitness value.

과학영재 학생들을 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과에 대한 질적 접근 (The Qualitative Approach to Effects of the Program Focused on Emotional Intelligence Development for the Science-gifted)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학 영재를 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 참가자들은 9개월 동안 20회의 정서지능 프로그램에 참가하였다. 연구 분석 자료로는 20명의 과학 영재 학생의 자기보고 검사지, 프로그램 활동지, 연구자 현장기록 일지, 사전 사후 인터뷰를 사용하였다. 프로그램 수행 결과, 학생들은 정서지능을 이용한 갈등 상황의 긍정적 해결 경험을 통해 정서지능에 대한 재인식과 자기효능감이 상승하였고, 타인과의 관계에 대한 자신감이 형성되었으며 학업과 미래 직업에 대한 기대감을 드러냈다. 그러나 학업 성취에 대한 직접적 영향력은 드러나지 않았다.

과학일기 쓰기가 초등학생의 과학학습 동기, 과학 학업성취도, 생태적 감수성에 미치는 효과 - "식물의 구조와 기능" 단원을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Writing Science Diary on Science Learning Motivation, Science Academic Achievement and Ecological Sensitivity of Elementary Students - Focused on the Unit of the Structure and Function of Plants -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of writing science diary on science learning motivation, science academic achievement and ecological sensitivity of elementary students. Teaching unit was focused on 'The structure and function of plants' in 6th grade science text book. The subjects of study were 51 students of two classes. One class of 25 students, experimental group, wrote science diaries as homework. While the other class of 26 students, comparative group, performed homeworks with fill-in-the-blank worksheets. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, writing science diary had a meaningful effect on improvement of science learning motivation. Second, writing science diary had a meaningful effect on improvement of science academic achievement. Third, writing science diary had a meaningful effect on improvement of ecological sensitivity. And we could find that students had a favorable impression and high satisfaction level about writing science diary from the questionnaire.

A Proposed Conception of Technical Solutions to Address the Educational Loss in Mathematics in the Fifth Grade of Primary School

  • The study aimed to provide a proposed conception of technical solutions to address the educational loss in mathematics in the fifth grade of primary school, and the study adopted the descriptive approach. male and female teachers, and to achieve the study objective, the researcher built a tool for the study, a "questionnaire", in which he used the comprehensive inventory method, and the results of the study showed: identifying the learning outcomes that represent an educational loss, and identifying the learning outcomes that are considered essential in teaching and learning mathematics for the fifth grade of primary school. In the event that it is not achieved by students, it is considered an educational loss that may affect the future of students' education and learning. Because it is a basis for later experiences in mathematics in other classes, and the study also found the effectiveness of the proposed visualization of technical solutions provided to address the educational loss in mathematics for the fifth grade: (short electronic tests, YouTube channel, homework, educational platform, electronic worksheets, and communication channels).

An Empirical Study of Gender Differences in Motivational Orientations of Students in Statistics Classroom

  • Lecture theatres and computing laboratories are common types of classrooms used for teaching and learning in this study; both were equipped with a computer network through which teachers and students can access learning management system, digital library, educational software, and so on. Students were divided into groups of two or three; each group of students collaborated on the worksheets in the laboratory and naturally sat together when attending a class held in the lecture theatre. The social organization of classroom learning would promote student learning but what drives student learning; how to engage students with learning; and how to maintain their interest in learning are of research interest in the present study. The study illustrated the theoretical and empirical links, student motivation has a relation to rich collaboration with peers, communication as verbal interactions as well as teacher-student interactions. These are within socio-cultural contexts for learning to take place. The study was extended to make comparisons of the motivational orientations between student genders. It was found that female students were keener on fun or enjoyment in learning, peer communication, and teacher's intervention, whereas male students were concerned more about digital learning tools, a positive working relationship, social reciprocity, and interpersonal relationships.

The Effects of Corpus Use on Learning L2 Collocations of Light Verbs and Nouns

  • In data-driven learning (DDL), learners explore a corpus to understand vocabulary and grammar. Although many studies have emphasized the role of DDL in second language (L2) acquisition, L2 light verbs have been largely under-explored. To bridge this gap, this study focused on the learning outcomes of L2 light verbs among 29 intermediate-level Japanese university students. The research zeroed in on six prevalent light verbs in English: "make," "do," "take," "have," "give," and "get." Over nine weeks, the participants engaged with verb-noun collocations using worksheets that juxtaposed Japanese translations of the target collocations with their English equivalents, with the verbs omitted. With the aid of Wordbanks Online, they filled in the blanks and constructed accurate sentences. Before this activity, a 20-minute tutorial was given to the participants on how to interpret the concordance lines. The effectiveness of the DDL method was evaluated using pre-tests, immediate post-tests, and delayed post-tests. The results showed that DDL significantly improved the participants' knowledge of the target collocations of light verbs and nouns; the post-test and delayed post-test scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores. The results showed that, overall, DDL contributed to memorizing the collocations of light verbs and nouns; however, DDL had different effects on the memorization of collocations across different light verbs. The extent of work on the worksheet is not the only factor in its retention, and observing concordance lines may promote learners' memorization of light-verb collocations.

유니버설 디자인 개념을 적용한 "가족 생활과 주거 공간"단원의 협동학습 수업지도안 개발 및 적용 (A Study of the Development and the Application of the Concept of Universal Design into the LT Lesson Plan for the Chapter "Family life and Housing")

  • The purpose of this study is to develop lesson plan and to evaluate its application for the chapter of 'family life and housing'in the class of Home Economics in the third grade of middle school through the application of the Universal Design. This study has been done in three phases : analysis. development. and evaluation phase. The results of this study were as follows : First. in the development of the concept of the Universal Design. the objective of learning aimed to build the housing and utilities for all family members. Moreover. the various learning materials such as computer program. video materials. and worksheets of the group work were utilized to enhance the effectiveness of the lesson plan. Second. the evaluation of the students was examined through the assessment of the concept of the design. and the degree of class participation of student at the end of class. The LT cooperative learning as an instructional method was perceived to be appropriate and the participation of the cooperative work was also enhanced. The use of the computer programs. and video tapes was considered to be useful. Third. the response of the teachers was found to be both positive and negative. Teachers'positive reactions indicated that the use of the Universal Design facilitated student's participation in class stimulating their motivations and creative ideas not only in the classroom but also in the real life as for the negative reactions. teachers perceived understanding of the concept of the Universal Design. the activities of the students and class hours were relatively shout. These should be added to by the further study with the teachers endeavor.

엑셀을 활용한 일차함수의 과정 - 대상관점 형성에 대한 사례연구 (A Case Study on Formation of the Process - Object Perspective of Linear Function using Excel)

  • 본 연구는 수학 7-가, 수학 8-가 교과서의 함수단원 분석을 통해 지필환경의 제한점을 알아본 후 탐구용 소프트웨어인 엑셀이 학생들의 일차함수의 과정-대상관점 형성 과정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 엑셀을 활용한 교수 실험은 학습능력 수준이 다른 다섯 명의 학생을 선정하여 중학교에서 다루고 있는 함수관련 내용을 중심으로 실시하였다. 교수실험은 5차시로 이루어졌으며, 각 학생의 활동 과정을 녹화, 녹음한 내용과 학생과의 면담, 관찰, 활동지 등을 분석하였다. 교수실험 결과, 엑셀을 활용해 식과 표와 그래프를 다양하게 조작한 역동적 탐구활동은 일차함수의 과정관점과 대상관점을 형성하는 데 중요한 비계설정(scaffolding) 역할을 했다.
