건설현장 근로자의 작업복 실태조사 (A Research Study on Construction Field Worker's Working Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the ergonomic working uniform. Developing a prototype uniform will be the first stage in aiming to create a working uniform in the construction field. This study was conducted using a questionnaire in the construction field of Daegu city, and the data was gathered from 121 questionnaires. Some of the questions that were asked, were about the case of putting on and removing the uniform and if any areas of uniform caused discomfort. The areas of the uniform that caused problems were the waist, knee, shoulder, arm and neck regions. The free range of movement of these regions were restricted and caused the person to feel cramped. The results of the questionnaire called for improvements to the knee, waist, shoulder and crotch area. The prototype that was developed offered more range of movement in the knee and crotch area, while not causing the uniform to be cramped too much during motion. The prototype also improved comfort by raising the waist line of back part, and by having the ability of the uniform to be tightened or loosened with zipper according to the persons preference. The upper area of the uniform was improved by dropping the shoulder seam line which enhanced comfort and also allowed a better fit for the elbow and wrist. The prototypes additional feature included a slit zipper in the sides of the trousers and a gusset in the under arm area to improve breathability and sweat elimination.

Human Resources Management at the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia during the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • This study aims to understand human resource management in the Library of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This institution had to change its work procedures, including its management of human resources. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, carried out from October to December 2020. The findings show that working from home practices had the following impacts: reduced ability to concentrate while working; many forced changes to the work programme; and problems of miscommunication due to work instructions being conveyed through a WhatsApp group. In response to the situation, the planning function of management was used to suspend the recruitment of interns; the organizing function was divided up tasks into two or three working days a week; the actuating function was seen in the willingness of leadership to motivate staff and to optimize resources by providing training; and the controlling function was realized in an online presence and online reporting mechanisms. It was concluded that the implementation of human resource management in the library was achieved through flexibility and staff empowerment. This involved carrying out initiatives and controlling their effectiveness in response to whatever changes were required by the latest pronouncements from government. Obstacles were still encountered in the implementation of these changes, especially in relation to the organizing function of management, where some conflict was seen between the DPR RI librarians.

근로능력이 부족한 여성한부모의 공공부조서비스 이용 경험 (Single Mothers' Experiences of Public Support Service: The Case Study of Single Mothers Who are Lack of Work Ability)

  • 본 연구는 국민기초생활보장수급자중 근로능력이 부족한 것으로 판정된 여성한부모의 공공부조서비스 이용경험을 탐색하여 개선 방안을 모색해보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 20대~50대의 미성년자녀가 있는 수급자 5명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 연구결과 이들은 일을 통해 가계에 보탬이 되고 자녀에게 가난한 어머니로서의 이미지를 벗어나고자 수없이 시도하였으나 좋지 않은 건강과 일을 배우는데 드는 비용, 자녀양육부담, 그리고 근로능력판정상의 점수 등으로 본인의 계획을 관철하지 못하였다. 이러한 과정이 반복되면서 가난한 어머니로서의 스트레스와 우울감이 강화되고, 또 자녀에게 부적절한 훈육과 양육으로 투사되었다. 이는 공공부조서비스 이용 과정에서 더 강화되는 경향이 있었다. 결국, 자격 평가 기준에 따른 좌절의 반복과 심신의 건강의 악화로 근로무능력 상태가 장기화되면서 수급자로 만성화되는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 연구결과를 통해 결론에서 근로능력 판정제도와 관련된 정책 및 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.

근로여성의 법적보호와 복지시설에 대하여 (A Study on Legal Protection and Welfare Facilities of Women Worker)

  • It is a general trend in the world that female workers are drastically increasing due to the facts that highly developed capitalism requires women's job, women are inspired to work, housewives can shorten their working hours for house-keeping and save their energy from their routine works, educational expenses of their children become larger, large among of modities has stimulated purchasing desire. Since the International Treaty on Prohibition of Female's Night Labor was agreed at the Bern's Conference in 1906, the International Labor Organization (I.L.O.) established after the World War II, has adopted innumerable international labor treaties. According to the laws of the advanced countries, the first priority of their protection has been placed on juvenile and female workers. The legal protection of female workers and equal treatments such as wage and promotion between men and women have become important world problems. In this thesis, the great principle of the Labor Standard Law, protection regarding working house, risk and harm in performance of jobs, protection of mother-workers, protection of women workers in advanced countries and the present status of welfare facilities for women workers in our country will be studied. The most important points this thesis has placed stress and appealed, are as follows : 1. The scope and variety of women workers' jobs should be broadened. 2. Opportunity for promotion should be guaranteed for women workers based upon the ability and capacity of individual woman worker. 3. Equal wage principle between men and women workers, should be established based upon the idea that men and women should be equal. 4. The age limit or marriage limit of employment applied only to female workers, should be abrogated. 5. The ability of middle and old aged women workers should be developed and utilized to the maximum extent. 6. Welfare facilities for women workers, should be urgently secured and guaranteed.

  • 정신분열병은 망상이나 환각과 같은 양성증상과 감정적 둔마와 같은 음성증상이 대표적인 사고장애로서 외부입력 정보를 통합하거나 체계적으로 처리하는 능력이 매우 부족하다. 즉, 정신분열병 환자는 시각, 청각, 촉각 등의 자극을 종합하고 통합하여 인지하지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 뇌 인지 통합 모델(Brain Multimodal Integration Model)에 기반하여 정신분열병 환자의 인지 능력을 측정하기 위한 가상현실시스템을 제안한다. 정신분열병 환자의 지각, 인지, 운동능력을 측정하기 위한 가상현실시스템은 환자에게 시각과 청각의 멀티모달 자극을 제시하여, 환자로 하여금 일정시간 동안 자극을 기억하고 처리하여 주어진 과제를 수행하도록 하였다. 수행 결과를 통해 환자의 멀티모달 자극 통합능력 및 작업기억 통합능력, 네비게이션 능력을 평가한다. 임상연구를 통해 개발된 가상현실시스템을 WCST과 같은 기존 검사방법들과 비교하여 검증하였는데, 가상현실로 측정한 파라미터와 WCST의 파라미터 및 SPM 점수 사이에 매우 유의미한 상관관계를 보여 가상현실시스템의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

흰쥐의 적출 작업성 심장에서 허혈성 심정지시 Fructose-1.6-diphosphate(FDP)의 심근보호 작용 (Improved Myoardial Protection by Addition of Fructose-1.6-diphosphate to Crystalloid Cardioplegic Solution in the Isolated Working Rat Heart)

  • Currently numerous methods are in use for myocardial protection from the ravages of ischemia and hypoxia. This study was designed to compare with FDP-GIK[Group II, n=8] and GIK cardioplegic solution[Group I, n=8] in ability of myocardial protection and was examined in the isolated working rat heart subjected to long period[120 min] of hypothermic[10 - 15K] ischemic arrest with multidose[every 30 min] cardioplegic infusion. During postischemic reperfusion period 20 min, hemodynamic functions[aortic flow, coronary flow, peak aortic pressure, cardiac output, heart rate], biochemical enzymatic & electrical activities were evaluated. The time from onset of reperfusion to the return of regular sinus rhythm was significantly reduced from 87$\pm$3 sec to 17$\pm$2 sec[P<0.05]. The postischemic recovery of aortic flow was better in the group II [95.1$\pm$3.3% of its preischemic control level] than in the Group I [75.4$\pm$6.8%] [P<0.05]. Cardiac output and stroke volume was also better in the group[91.3$\pm$1.6%, 89.4$\pm$2.6%, respectively] than in the Group I [79.1$\pm$3.7%, 77.0$\pm$4.8%, respectively] [P<0. 05]. Creatine kinase leakage was also significantly reduced from 33.8$\pm$4.9 IU /10 min / gm * dry weight to 15.4$\pm$3.6 IU /10 min /gm * dry weight[P<0.05]. It is suggested that adding FDP to GIK cardioplegic solution improves its ability to protect the heart against long period of hypoxic ischemia.

병원 간호사의 스마트 폰 의료관련 앱(APP) 사용의도 영향 요인 (Factors Related to the Intent to Use the Medical Application(M-APP) of Smart Phone of Hospital Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of intent to use the medical-application(M-APP) of smart phone of nurses working at the nursing department of two university hospitals in Korea. The independent variables used in the study are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, attitude toward using technology, self efficacy, anxiety, ability to use a smart phone easily and socio-demographic characteristics. The sample used in the study consisted of 378 nurses selected from two university hospitals located in Seoul and Wonju, Korea. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study revealed 5 independent variables of attitude toward using technology, self efficacy, anxiety, ability of using APP and interest in smart phone have the significant effect on the intent to use the M-APP. The results imply that the hospital administrators and nursing managers should try to give more chances to learn the skills of using M-APP, provide sufficient resources and establish the stable hospital information system in order for their employees to use the M-APP more easily at their working places.

영구임대주택 입주자의 관리비 및 임대료 체납 실태와 의식 (Issues and Perception on Management Fee and Rental Payment Overdue of Permanent Rental Housing Residents)

  • Permanent rental housing, the construction of which was strongly financed by the central government, is regarded as a social housing for those who fall within the lowest income bracket. Differing from "public rental housing", offered to tenants for sale after a five year rental period, this type of housing is intended for rental use on a long-tenn basis. At present, about 190,000 permanent rental housing units exist in Korea. According to a statistics, 15.6% of its residents did not pay their management fee and rental payment in 4 or more months in 2005, which places stress on the housing management. Based on the "eviction condition" stipulated in the tenancy agreement for permanent rental housing, a householder owning assets or a vehicle which is not used as his means of living, who is overdue with his management fee and rental payment for a long time, may be evicted from the house. However, there are many conflicts and problems between administrators/housing managers and residents in the process of enforcing this regulation. The purpose of this study is to explore the key issues associated with the present situation and the reasons why so many management fee and rental payment for permanent rental housing are overdue. For the purpose of research, data were collected from 10,990 permanent rental housing residents nationwide via a questionnaire survey in February 2007. One third of the respondents had an experience of more than 2 months overdue since they have moved in current residence. For further analysis, the respondents were divided into three groups, based on their working ability. The major finding showed that the group of respondents who have working ability required a more practical plan, such as employment, to have a sustainable life, while the other group of no labor force indicated a need for more housing allowance from the government. To suggest more specific alternatives for the subject of housing payment overdue, further comparison study should be performed between the residents of permanent rental housing and other low income tenants in private housing sector.

기혼여성의 재취업 구조에 관한 사례연구 : 전업주부 재취업훈련 참가자를 중심으로 (Married Women's Return to the Workforce : Findings from the Participants in a Reemployment Training Program)

  • This study was conducted to help develop women's human resources and promote married women's return to workforce. Using various data, we examined the patterns of Korean women's economic activities over the lifecycle, career discontinuation and return to the workforce. We also interviewed twenty full-time housewives who wanted to return to workforce. The interview questions included reasons for seeking employment, desired working conditions, and difficulties in finding a job. Major findings are as follows: First, there were two groups with respect to reasons why they want employment One was an economic need such as earning basic living expenses and supporting the family. The other was self-realization and social participation. Second most women wanted to do unskilled labor such as housekeeping work, whereas some young or well-educated women looked for a professional job. Third, married women preferred part-time jobs, which were compatible with their family care demands. Most of them wanted a workplace located close to home. The women with child-care responsibility preferred working at home. Fourth, regarding difficulties of returning to workforce, they pointed out vocational ability problems due to their career discontinuation, social prejudice such as gender discrimination and psychological pressure in maintaining work and family at the same time. In order to promote employment of married women, it is required not only to change social prejudices but also to increase effectiveness in policy implementation. In addition, counseling for job-search and vocational ability training programs should be provide.

치과병의원에서 요구하는 치위생과 졸업생들의 직업능력에 관한 연구 (The study about occupational ability of dental hygiene department students required of the dental clinics)

  • Objectives : This study is aimed to help the dental hygiene department students to improve their adaptive ability to the field work by letting them know the performing levels required of the job world, by renovating the knowledge-centered curriculum, and by finding out the core competencies needed for successfully performing their duties and tasks in the work field. Methods : The survey tool was recomposed through the examination of the preceeding studies on basic vocational competencies and skills, and the survey has been done to 200 dentists in Seoul and Gyunggi provice. Results : 1. As for the job-getting routs, 35.1% of them finds their jobs through the job portal sites, and 21.3% through the recommendation by professors. So we can see the meaningful difference in the employment ways. 2. Dental hygiene clinics think that the purpose of their cooperation with the colleges is mainly to secure human resources by requiring the colleges to give field-centered education the colleges through. 3. The clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning have a great power for hiring the students. So it is necessary to set up a good management system of the clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning in order to reinforce the students' competitive power in getting jobs. 4. The priorities in basic working abilities needed for the task performance are in the order of vocational responsibility, self-managing & developing ability, interpersonal skill, and problem solving ability. 5. The core competencies required of those who graduate from dental hygiene school show the following scores by Likert measurement; good personality and vocational consciousness 2.16(${\pm}.677$), understanding power of major-related knowledge 2.19(${\pm}.723$), field adapting ability 2.31(${\pm}.748$), get-along-with ability 2.32(${\pm}.799$), interpersonal skill 2.42(${\pm}.768$), and self-development ability such as getting certificates 2.43(${\pm}.729$). Among the core competencies, the only meaningful factor which influences on their satisfaction measurement has been identified as the professional ability related to the major. Conclusions : The results suggest that the knowledge and skill related to the major are core competencies of able human resources and closely related with the professionality of the job, and so they are very important. However, job basic abilities are also proved to be important, which reinforce the students' activeness, self-regulation, and creativeness, and help them to pursue their lasting growth in their abilities.
