A Study on Indirect Adaptive Decentralized Learning Control of the Vertical Multiple Dynamic System (수직다물체시스템의 간접적응형 분산학습제어에 관한 연구)

  • The learning control develops controllers that learn to improve their performance at executing a given task, based on experience performing this specific task. In a previous work, the authors presented an iterative precision of linear decentralized learning control based on p-integrated learning method for the vertical dynamic multiple systems. This paper develops an indirect decentralized teaming control based on adaptive control method. The original motivation of the teaming control field was loaming in robots doing repetitive tasks such as on an assembly line. This paper starts with decentralized discrete time systems, and progresses to the robot application, modeling the robot as a time varying linear system in the neighborhood of the nominal trajectory, and using the usual robot controllers that are decentralized, treating each link as if it is independent of any coupling with other links. Some techniques will show up in the numerical simulation for vertical dynamic robot. The methods of learning system are shown up for the iterative precision of each link.

  • The new filed of learning control develops controllers that learn to improve their performance at executing a given task , based on experience performing this specific task. In a previous work[6], authors presented a theory of indirect learning control based on use of indirect adaptive control concepts employing simultaneous identification and control. This paper develops improved indirect learning control algorithms, and studies the use of such controller indecentralized systems. The original motivation of the learning control field was learning in robots doing repetitive tasks such as on an asssembly line. This paper starts with decentralized discrete time systems. and progresses to the robot application, modeling the robot as a time varying linear system in the neighborhood of the nominal trajectory, and using the usual robot controllers that are decentralized, treating each link as if it is independent of any coupling with other links. The resultof the paper is to show that stability of the indirect learning controllers for all subsystems when the coupling between subsystems is turned off, assures convergence to zero tracking error of the decentralized indirect learning control of the coupled system, provided that the sample tie in the digital learning controller is sufficiently short.

  • With the advent of inexpensive computing power over the past two decades, applications of Monte Carlo radiation transport techniques have proliferated dramatically. At Los Alamos, the Monte Carlo codes MCNP5 and MCNPX are used routinely on personal computer platforms for radiation shielding analysis and dosimetry calculations. These codes feature a rich palette of variance reduction (VR) techniques. The motivation of VR is to exchange user efficiency for computational efficiency. It has been said that a few hours of user time often reduces computational time by several orders of magnitude. Unfortunately, user time can stretch into the many hours as most VR techniques require significant user experience and intervention for proper optimization. It is the purpose of this paper to outline VR strategies, tested in practice, optimized for several common radiation shielding tasks, with the hope of reducing user setup time for similar problems. A strategy is defined in this context to mean a collection of MCNP radiation transport physics options and VR techniques that work synergistically to optimize a particular shielding task. Examples are offered in the areas of source definition, skyshine, streaming, and transmission.

  • A large-scale construction project relies much on the efficiency of construction equipment. Therefore, efficient and accurate measurement on the productivity of construction equipment is one of important task in the construction industry. Based on the motivation, this paper proposes a 11-axis composite sensor for an automatic measurement of construction equipment. A 11-axis composite sensor is composed of a gyroscope, geomagnetic and accelerometer sensor for the purpose of real-time motion captures of construction equipment. It is expected that the proposed system can save considerable time, effort and cost of measuring a efficiency of construction equipment.

  • Video protocol analysis is a popular and effective technique in many research disciplines including industrial design and HCI for understanding the interactions between people, and between people and machines. Analysing and transcribing video recordings is, however, notoriously time consuming, and a variety of single-user computer based tools have been developed to ease the task. This paper examines collaborative video analysis. The motivation for groupware tools for video analysis is described, and the desirable features of such tools are identified. The following section reviews related work on video analysis and on single-user video analysis tools. The review is used to derive a set of design goals for collaborative video analysis tools. We then detail prototype's user interface, its collaborative facilities, and its implementation. The preliminary evaluation is described prior the conclusions which identify directions for further work.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the performance of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) based on Google Classroom(GC). GC is an easy and free online learning that plays an important role in education and training recently. Students become increasingly independent in self-directed learning while sharing ideas and resources, transferring knowledge actively across domains and researching for solutions to the given problem in PBL. Students can check the submission date on the task page and start the task with a single click, and teachers can quickly check if the task is complete, and score it directly from GC. Designed The Evaluation of Problem -Based Learning based on GC in this study. The students read the given materials and identify the purpose of the subjects and selected the learning issues, investigated them. After then they discuss the subjects and make the reports. The students work to study them with research papers, books and internet materials. The research findings showed that PBL based on GC was effective in learning together. Students had positive attitude in their PBL learning environment. This study suggests it is possible that the development of PBL Evaluation on the GC.

  • A law facilitating a family-friendly social environment was legislated in December 2007. According to the law, projects for facilitating a family-friendly social environment consisted of a family-friendly working environment, a community environment, and the promotion of a family-friendly culture. There has been much progress in developing a family-friendly working environment through projects such as those advocating for flexible work hours, an employee support system, and child care and a family care support system. However, in terms of a family-friendly community environment project, there was no noticeable advancement. Hence, this study was conducted to find ways to vitalize the family-friendly village project in terms of the family-friendly community environment project. The major findings of this study were as follows: A family-friendly village could be structured on the three axes of time, space, and relation. The model of the family-friendly village project consists of the following three steps: motivation, systematization, and participating & practicing. In the motivation step, integration, community, and sustainability were needed as basic ideologies for a family-friendly village. In the systematization step, providing systematic educational systems for residents taking on leadership and activist roles was stressed. In the participating & practicing step, many ways to facilitate residents' social relationships were suggested: starting the project from matters of common interests, making the resolution of families' problems a communal task of the residents, accepting the opinions of various groups associated with the matter, and taking a differentiated project process according to the geographic, socio-economic, and demographic characteristics of the groups. It is strongly suggested that the family-friendly village should be taken as a common functional scheme in everyone of eight livable village models because a key factor in a family-friendly village, family care, serves an essential function in any livable village model.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact on job satisfaction of the chinese bank staff by judging their motivators and hygiene factors. To explore the regulation of demographic characteristics between motivators, hygiene factors and job satisfaction. In the banking organization through the use of various elements of motivation duties assigned to meet organizational objectives put forward in order to achieve an effective incentive scheme given. In summary the results of analysis, the impact on motivator and job satisfaction in the work itself the result of regression analysis, promotion and recognition of the growth and job satisfaction in order to affect a positive sense of accomplishment and responsibility on the other hand, the task appeared was found not to affect satisfaction. The motivators of the bankers its positive influence on job satisfaction than hygiene factors were relatively high. And moderating effect of demographic characteristics and to validate the results, demographic characteristics and health factors are motivation and job satisfaction in the relationship between the presence of the control effect was analyzed. The relationship between motivation and job satisfaction is the demographic characteristics were analyzed to control that acts as a tour director, Hygiene factors influence job satisfaction is based on demographic characteristics was analyzed the age and education have been shown to exist, while Sex, tours, position the relationship between job satisfaction and hygiene factors do not exist in the control effect was analyzed.

What Factors Affect Pre-service Teachers in Choosing Teaching Science as Career?: Teaching Motivations of Pre-Service Science Teachers in Korea (왜 과학교사가 되려하는가? -우리나라 예비과학교사들의 교직 선택 동기-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate pre-service science teachers' motivation factor and satisfaction of teaching choice in Korea. For this purpose, we surveyed 815 pre-service science teachers in 11 universities in Korea. The questionnaire used in this study was the FIT-Choice scale (Factors Influencing Teaching-Choice) developed by Richardson and Watt (2006). The most significant factor in choosing teaching science as a profession was 'intrinsic value,' followed by 'social utility value,' but lower than the average of other countries in the previous research results. The confidence in teaching professions was low because the percentage of respondents about 'ability' was low and 'task demand' was high. Satisfaction with teaching choice was 5.36, and it is lower than the average of responses in Australia and USA. As for the differences according to gender, male pre-service teachers responded that they chose teaching because they have the proper ability to teach, while female pre-service teachers perceived that the influence of others was greater. Also, female pre-service teachers felt the burden of job such as hard work and emotional demands more than men. Finally, the motivation which showed the highest correlation with the satisfaction of choosing to teach was the intrinsic value. Therefore, finding ways to increase the intrinsic/social utility motivation for pre-service science teachers and differentiated approach considering gender differences are needed.

The methods of learning system are shown up for the iterative precision of each link at each time step in repetition domain. Those can be helped to apply to the vertical multiple dynamic systems for precision quality assurance in the industrial robots and medical equipments.
