  • Recently, variety services are more and more developed due to supply of PDA, cellular phone, and etc. Also, a services based on location information are very helpful in traffic, shopping, and emergency. Thus the user position is positively necessary for these services. One of the latest applications in GPS is the E911 call service for wireless phones. In this case, current GPS Navigation accuracy meets the FCC requirements but the hardware size and power consumption of GPS is issued for implementation. And, some case of applications need to snapshot location solution with fast TTFF(Time-To-Fist-Fix) than continuous location solution. The software GPS receiver could be the solution ...

  • Location tracking system represents position by searching objects and humans. In this paper I would like to write about RF chip support Zigbee which is called CC2420. In simulated network circumstance, we can get the information about mobile-node by sending it to sink-node. Position finding is in error by 3m at outdoor environment. The error scale is acceptable within easy range of naked eyes. It can be overcome by using GPS information and Google maps with the wireless networking background.

  • Mobile devices are the most important equipment for accessing various kinds of services. These services are accessed using wireless signals, the same used for mobile calls. Today mobile services provide a fast and excellent way to access all kinds of information via mobile phones. Mobile service providers are interested to know the access behavior pattern of the users from different locations at different timings. In this paper, we have introduced an associated tree for analyzing user behavior patterns while moving from one location to another. We have used four different parameters, namely user, location, dwell time, and services. These parameters provide stronger frequent accessing patterns by matching joins. These generated patterns are valuable for improving web services, recommending new services, and predicting useful services for individuals or groups of users. In addition, an experimental evaluation has been conducted on simulated data. Finally, performance of the proposed approach has been measured in terms of efficiency and scalability. The proposed approach produces excellent results.

  • The study is a method for preventing the natural ignition of indoor low coal coal in coal-fired power plants. It is a method of monitoring the temperature of coal stored in total by combining Internet technology (IoT) with sensor technology as a location confirmation method to detect the natural ignition of coal in advance and to alarm the location of the ignition site.

  • E-Health is one of the most promising applications of wireless sensor networks. This paper describes a prototype for e-Health systems. Based on the system, we propose the energy-balanced location-aided routing protocol. The location and energy information of the neighbor Coordinators is collected and stored in the neighbor discovery procedure. And then the Coordinator selects the most suitable neighbor to forward the data. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol has better performance than the three other routing protocols.

  • It is critical to estimate the location using only Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and Wi-Fi information gathered by the user's smartphone and deployable for emergency rescue, regardless of whether the Global Positioning System is received. In this research, we used a vehicle to gather LTE and Wi-Fi wireless signals over a large area for an extended period of time. After that, we used the learning technique to create a positioning database that included both collection and noncollection points. We presented a two-step positioning algorithm that utilizes coarse localization to discover a rough location in a wide area rapidly and fine localization to estimate a particular location based on the coarse position. We confirmed our technology utilizing different sorts of devices in four regional types that are generally encountered: dense urban, urban, suburban, and rural. Results presented that our algorithm can satisfactorily achieve the target accuracy necessary in emergency rescue circumstances.

  • Recently it has become easier to figure out cargo positional information by using GPS(Global Positioning System) and wireless communication technology. The acceleration of globalization in the shipping logistics is ever more increasing the need to provide visibility, traceability and real time informations of entry, departure of vessel including cargo and status of logistic vehicle entry into each logistic base. Providing such positional information to logistics party by using wireless communication technology can bring effective operation of supply chain and reduction in logistics costs. In the previous paper, I suggested a global location tracking system based on GPS data in global shipping logistics by means of software using GPS data. However, the previous system had a problem of being inadequate to figure out a real time location movement information and was unsatisfactory on quickly searching and checking the location of global logistics hubs according to the longitude and latitude coordinates. Hence, in this paper, I suggest a real-time location tracking system that provided real-time location of the container cargos and logistics hubs can be searched quickly according to the GPS coordinates in global shipping logistics.

  • In this paper, we proposed cooperative based localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks, which can estimate to unknown node position using received signal strength table set. The unknown nodes are monitor to RSS from neighbor nodes and exclude existence possibility area of sensor node in sensor field. Finally, we can calculate the centroid position for each unknown node with cooperative localization algorithm. Furthermore, these processes are applied iteratively about all nodes which is recorded to RSS table and can estimate for unknown nodes.

  • Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are widely used in geographically isolated applications like military border area monitoring, battle field surveillance, forest fire detection systems, etc. Uninterrupted power supply is not possible in isolated locations and hence sensor nodes live on their own battery power. Localization of sensor nodes in isolated locations is important to identify the location of event for further actions. Existing localization algorithms consume more energy at sensor nodes for computation and communication thereby reduce the lifetime of entire WSNs. Existing approaches also suffer with less localization coverage and localization accuracy. The objective of the proposed work is to increase the lifetime of WSNs while increasing the localization coverage and localization accuracy. A novel intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle anchor node (IUAN) is proposed to reduce the communication cost at sensor nodes during localization. Further, the localization computation cost is reduced at each sensor node by the proposed intelligent arc selection (IAS) algorithm. IUANs construct the location-distance messages (LDMs) for sensor nodes deployed in isolated locations and reach the Control Station (CS). Further, the CS aggregates the LDMs from different IUANs and computes the position of sensor nodes using IAS algorithm. The life time of WSN is analyzed in this paper to prove the efficiency of the proposed localization approach. The proposed localization approach considerably extends the lifetime of WSNs, localization coverage and localization accuracy in isolated environments.

  • For effective wireless localization utilizing signal strength measurements based on IEEE 802.11 WLAN standard diversity of mobile hardware, characteristics of is one of the important problems to be considered for advanced location-based services. For improved accuracy regardless of a bias originating from the mobile hardware characteristics, this paper proposes a new localization algorithm, which is named as the hybrid Kriging algorithm. To evaluate the performance characteristics of the proposed algorithm, simulation and experiment results are illustrated. By the simulation and experiment result, the proposed algorithm is more accurate than the well-known location finger-print method given the same density of reference measurements.
