Until now, a study on a ubiquitous sensor network has been mainly concentrated in the areas of sensor nodes, and as a results, technologies related with sensor node were greatly developed. Despite of many achievements on research and development for a sensor node, a ubiquitous sensor network may failed to establish the actual service environment because variety of restrictions. In order to provide a actual service using a ubiquitous sensor networks applied to many results on research and development for a sensor nodes, a study on a wired/wireless composite router must be carried out. However a study on a wired/wireless composite router is relatively very slow compared with the sensor node. In this study, developed a high-performance router platform supporting IPv6 that can provide high-speed wired/wireless interface and QoS, and it can provide the multimedia service Interlocking the wireless sensor network and the Internet network. To analysis a given network environment and to develop the appropriate hardware and software in accordance with this requirement.

현재 인터넷 통신에 주로 사용하고 있는 x-DSLL 제품에 있어, ADSL은 대략 3.5km의 전송거리를 갖고 VDSL은 2km 이내의 전송거리를 갖는다. 즉, 전화선을 이용한 인터넷 전송속도는 전송선로의 특성상 통신속도와 반비례하여 전송거리가 결정되는 물리적 구조를 갖는다. 인터넷 전송방식에 따른 통신속도를 결정하는 또 다른 요소로 AM방송에 의한 ADSL회선의 속도저하, 단파통신에 의해 VDSL의 전송대역과 중첩되어 속도를 저하 시킨다. 본 연구에서는 Field to cable에 의해 유도된 공중파를 제거시키면서 신호를 증폭 전송대역을 최대로 확보하여 최적거리내 확보된 통신속도로 전송거리를 2배정도 향상시키는 제품개발에 관한 연구결과이다.

Integration of mobile networks and Internet has started with 2.5 generation of mobile cellular networks. Internet traffic is today dominant traffic type worldwide. The hanger for higher data rates needed for data traffic and new IP based services is essential in the development of future wireless networks. In such situation, even 3G with up to 2 Mbit/s has not provided data rates that are used by Internet users with fixed broadband dial-up or through wired local area networks. The solution to provide higher bit rates in wireless access network has been found in wireless LAN although initially it has been developed to extend wired LAN into wireless domain. In this paper, we propose and describe a solution created for interoperability between mobile cellular network and WLAN. The integration between two networks, cellular and WLAN, is performed on the authentication, authorization, and accounting, i.e., AAA side. For that purpose we developed WLAN access controller and WLAN AAA gateway, which provide gateway-type access control as well as charging and billing functionalities for the WLAN service. In the development process of these elements, we have considered current development stadium of all needed network entities and protocols. The provided solution provides cost-effective and easy-to-deploy PLMN-WLAN Internetworking scenario.

Until now, most of the studies about the internet service have focused mainly on the adoption of on-line(wired) internet services, while there have relatively been very few studies about the adoption and usage of wireless or mobile internet services. The generic model explaining the adoption behaviors of wireless internet services has not been made yet. Previous studies of that area is not so easy to find. The purposes of this paper are two-folds. The first is to find the factors affecting the users' intention and commitment behavior of mobile internet services. The second is to find the relative importance of the factors in users making decisions about users' usage intention and commitment behavior. In the theoretical part of this paper, the precedent studies concerning the technology acceptance model and the theories of on-line internet services adoption, the theories of the mobile internet services, are reviewed and analyzed.

This paper predicts how mobile Internet portal services will go ahead and what contents will be needed at the portal site. Mobile Internet interface needs to be concise and compressed because of the size of terminals Thus mobile internal service wants integrated portal service We study the service strategy for mobile internet portal Service according to the product life cycle Many Korean people who have used 'wired and fixed' Internet services and mobile phones want the mobile Internet portal to provide many attractive functions and high quality of service Thus we consider the current Korean mobile Internet service as the maturity phase of its life cycle The maturity phase needs the strategy of diversifying and focusing on, thus we recommend the hub portal model for Korean mobile Internet service, In this paper, we survey contents of mobile Internet portal service as a case study. With the result of the analysis, we present the promising contents as follows: video conference service, financial service, stock trading service, traffic information service, location map service, emergency rescue service, and so on.

The purpose of this study is through a analysis between old diagnostic tests of the Internet Addiction Syndrome to make a new test model for the physical disturbance problems for the addiction persons. Suggestion treatment for the Internet Addiction Syndrome are follows: 1. Try to decide in advance how much time you will spend on the Net time a day. 2. Decide how much you want the Internet to be a part of each area of your life and then allocate time accordingly. 3. You may decide that you want to keep the Internet at work, and shut the door on it when you leave for home. 4. To physical exercise regularly. 5. Take frequent breaks. 6. Seek out friends and acquaintances who couldn't care less about the Internet. 7. Interact with people in a non-wired world. 8. Consult a Dr. if you can't solved.

무선 인터넷에 대한 수요가 날로 증가하고 있는 가운데 무선 인터넷이 보다 활성화되기 위해서는 반드시 해결해야 될 문제가 있는데, 보안 문제가 바로 그것이다. 특히 음성 위주의 이동통신에서는 도청만이 문제가 되었지만 증권이나 뱅킹같이 단순한 정보 서비스를 뛰어넘는 상거래 활동이 이루어지는 데이터 서비스에서는 사용자 인증, 데이터 무결성 보장 등 해결해야 할 문제가 많다. 이에 무선 인터넷 환경에서 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 유선 인터넷 환경에서와 같은 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 무선 PH(WPKI: Wireless Public Key Infrastructure)의 필요성이 대두되었다. 즉, 유선 인터넷 환경에서 제공되는 기밀성, 무결성, 부인봉쇄 등의 보안 서비스를 무선 인터넷 환경에서도 제공하기 위해서는, 먼저 무선 PKI가 구축되고 서비스가 활성화되어야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 무선 인터넷 서비스를 위한 다양한 무선 인터넷 기술들과 그에 사용되는 무선 PKI기술 그리고 이에 적용 가능한 무선 PKI 표준들에 대해 분석하였다. 본 논문의 수행 결과로는 안전한 무선 PKI 서비스의 활성화와 더불어 무선 인터넷 뱅킹 서비스, 주식 거래, 온라인 쇼핑 등 무선 인터넷을 이용한 전자 상거래의 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문에서는 WINDOWS CE .NET 기반의 PDA를 이용한 원격제어시스템을 구현하였다. 서버 시스템의 운영체제는 WINDOWS CE .NET을 사용하여 사용자에게 쉬운 사용 환경을 제공하며, 운영체제 이미지에 개발한 디바이스 드라이버를 추가하여 하드웨어 장치를 제어한다. 임베디드 서버는 PC 클라이언트와 PC 클라이언트, PC 클라이언트와 PDA 클라이언트, PDA 클라이언트와 PDA 클라이언트간의 메시지 통신을 지원한다. 본 논문은 원격제어시스템을 구현하는데 있어서 에뮬레이터를 사용하지 않고 실제 PDA와 임베디드 보드로 시스템을 구현하였다. 제안된 시스템은 임베디드 보드를 서버로 사용하고 PDA를 클라이언트로 사용하여 무선 인터넷이 제공되는 환경이라면 어느 곳에서나 원격으로 대상물을 제어할 수 있다.

미래 인터넷의 주요한 접근 수단 중 하나가 될 무선 메쉬 네트워크를 기반으로 하는 유무선 통합망의 성능은 사용자에게 제공될 서비스의 품질에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유선망과 연결된 메쉬 네트워크의 성능을 평가하여 서비스 망으로서의 실효성을 검증한다. 이를 위해 서울대와 미국 HP 연구소의 무선 메쉬 네트워크 테스트 베드를 광대역 유선망인 KOREN/Abilene으로 연결하여 유무선 통합망을 구축하고, 다양한 TCP 프로토콜들의 성능 측정 및 분석을 수행하였다. 특히 유무선 통합망의 여러 구간에서 지연시간 (RTT)등을 측정하여 VoIP등의 다양한 서비스를 제공할 만한 적절한 RTT값을 가짐을 밝혀냈으며, 패킷 손실이 많이 발생하는 무선구간과 높은 대역폭과 긴 지연시간을 가지는 유선구간이 복합되어 있는 환경에서 좋은 성능을 낼 수 있는 TCP 프로토콜의 형태와 특성을 제시하였다.

Perhaps, one of the typical emerging markets drawing tremendous attention from not only business professionals but also policy-makers would be the mobile Internet services. In recent years many research institutes reported their predictions on the growth of the mobile Internet services market, announcing that the market would show explosive growth and replace the wired Internet service market rapidly. Unfortunately, however, the reality we are facing at present is quite different from their expectations. The realized share of the mobile services in Korea last year has turned out remaining only about one percent of the total network service revenue. What are the reasons for the gap between the prospects and the reality? Starting from this question, this paper attempts to explore the generic pitfalls of the traditional number-crunching methods adopted thus far for the forecast of newly emerging market trends, and present an alternative by introducing systems thinking to the mobile Internet service market as an example, followed by its rationale as a new tool for forecasting and some reasoning about why traditional methods are no longer appropriate.
