  • This paper is equivalent model transform which reduces the restriction of digitalization in the discrete linear system. This algorithm is the method that weight is given to contribillity and obserbility gramian, the regular matrix T of coordinate transform is obtained and then the state space coefficents of weighted model can be obtained. This study shows the frequency reponse of low quantization error according to the order of weighting function. The result shows that frequency response of the proposed algorithm is better than that of the balanced realization in the system of smaller bit.

  • In the present article, we study some approximation properties of the Kantorovich type generalization of $Sz{\acute{a}}sz$ type operators involving Charlier polynomials introduced by S. Varma and F. Taşdelen (Math. Comput. Modelling, 56 (5-6) (2012) 108-112). First, we establish approximation in a Lipschitz type space, weighted approximation theorems and A-statistical convergence properties for these operators. Then, we obtain the rate of approximation of functions having derivatives of bounded variation.

  • This paper considers the problem of nonparametric deconvolution density estimation when sample observa-tions are contaminated by double exponentially distributed errors. Three different deconvolution density estima-tors are introduced: a weighted kernel density estimator, a kernel density estimator based on the support vector regression method in a RKHS, and a classical kernel density estimator. The performance of these deconvolution density estimators is compared by means of a simulation study.

  • Multiple objective programming has been a popular research area since 1970. The pervasiveness of multiple objective in decision problems have led to explosive growth during the 1980's. Several approaches (interactive methods, feasible direction methods, criterion weight space methods, Lagrange multiplies methods, etc) have been developed for solving decision problems having multiple objectives. However there are still many mathematically challengings including multiple objective integer, nonlinear optimization problems which require further mathematically oriented research. (omitted)

  • A new general high order consistent nodal method for solving the 3-D multigroup neutron kinetic equations in (x-y-z) geometry has been derived by expending the flux in a multiple polynomial series for the space variables by without the quadratic fit approximations of the transverse leakage and for the time variable and using a weighted-integral technique. The derived equation set is consistent mathematically, and therefore, we can expect very accurate solutions and less computing time since we can use coarse meshes in time variable as well as in spatial variables and the solution would converge exactly in fine mesh limit.

  • This note is devoted to establishing the boundedness for some classes of Littlewood-Paley square operators defined by the kernels without any regularity on the mixed radial-angular spaces. The corresponding vector-valued versions are also presented. As applications, the corresponding results for the Littlewood-Paley g∗λ function and the Littlewood-Paley function related to the area integrals are also obtained.

  • This paper gives sufficient conditions to ensure the existence and stability of solutions for generalized nonlinear fractional integrodifferential equations of order α (1 < α < 2). The main theorem asserts the stability results in a weighted Banach space, employing the Krasnoselskii's fixed point technique and the existence of at least one mild solution satisfying the asymptotic stability condition. Two examples are provided to illustrate the theory.

  • For a complex regular Borel measure ${\mu}$ on ${\Omega}$ which is a subset of ${\mathbb{C}}^k$, where k is a positive integer we define the Toeplitz operator $T_{\mu}$ on a reproducing analytic space which comtains polynomials. Using every symmetric polynomial is a polynomial of elementary polynomials, we show that if $T_{\mu}$ has finite rank then ${\mu}$ is a finite linear combination of point masses.

  • In this paper, we proposes a new fuzzy inference system for modeling nonlinear systems given input and output data. In the suggested fuzzy inference system, the number of fuzzy rules and parameter values of membership functions are automatically decided by using the kernel-based method. The kernel-based method individually performs linear transformation and kernel mapping. Linear transformation projects input space into linearly transformed input space. Kernel mapping projects linearly transformed input space into high dimensional feature space. The structure of the proposed fuzzy inference system is equal to a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model whose input variables are weighted linear combinations of input variables. In addition, the number of fuzzy rules can be reduced under the condition of optimizing a given criterion by adjusting linear transformation matrix and parameter values of kernel functions using the gradient descent method. Once a structure is selected, coefficients in consequent part are determined by the least square method. Simulated result illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed technique.

  • Photoelectric observations of the neglected eclipsing binary VZ Cep were made on four night during the observing season of 1984 at Sobaeksan Astronomy Observatory. The UBV light curves were secured incompletely with the gap in 0.35-0.75 phases. From the observations three times of minimum lights were determined in three band-passes, which formed one weighted minimum epoch (JD Hel 2446009.0453). With our observations, and improved light elements for VZ Cep is determined using all the photoelectric and CCD times of minimum lights published so far. The (O-C) resid-uals calculated with our light elements show small varying scatters which cannot be negligible. From the analyses of all the times of minima with the Scargle’s(1982)period-searching and a curve fitting methods, we found possible periodic oscillations of the (O-C) residuals with the period of 1. y26 and the amplitude of 0.d0032. These results, however, have to be considered as a preliminary values until complete analysis for the minimum lights of VZ Cep with enough observational data. Future observations of this binary system are urgently prompted.
