A Design and Implementation of XML Document storing and retrieval Framework based on a variant k-ary complete tree and RDF Metadata (가변 K진 완전트리와 RDF메타정보에 기반한 XML문서 저장 및 검색 프레임워크의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper studied and proposed a XML document storing-and-retrieval framework based on a variant k-ary complete tree and a RDF metadata, which is composed of an effective storing module to store xml documents, a retrieving module to retrieve xml documents, and a connecting module to make this system intemperate in the web environment. In this storing module, DTD independent DOM based decomposition model using a method of addressing unique ill using a variant k-ary complete tree is adopted and is implemented. Query Processing Module includes a XPath query process and a content based retrieval function using word index for content information. To retrieve more exactly data, a structural retrieval using RDF metadata is adopted and implemented. In order to implement effectively XML document storing and retrieval system in the web environment, API using XML-RPC, API using HTTP's GET, PUT, POST and API using SOAP have been adopted and implemented.

Development of Flood Analysis Module for the Implementation of a Web-Based Flood Management System (웹기반 홍수관리시스템 구현을 위한 홍수분석모듈개발)

  • This study was to develop the flood analysis module (FAM) for implementation of a web-based real-time agricultural flood management system. The FAM was developed to apply for an individual watershed, including agricultural reservoir. This module calculates the flood inflow hydrograph to the reservoir using effective rainfall by NRCS-CN method and unit hydrograph calculated by Clark, SCS, and Nakayasu synthetic unit hydrograph methods, and then perform the reservoir routing by modified Puls method. It was programmed to consider the automatic reservoir operation method (AutoROM) based on flood control water level of reservoir. For a $15.7km^2$ Gyeryong watershed including $472{\times}10^4m^3$ agricultural reservoir, rainfall loss, rainfall excess, peak inflow, total inflow, maximum discharge, and maximum water level for each duration time were compared between the FAM and HEC-HMS (applied SCS and Clark unit hydrograph methods). The FAM results showed entirely consistent for all components with simulated results by HEC-HMS. It means that the applied methods to the FAM were implemented properly.

  • This thesis presents MPU module, Base board and sensor module which are efficient industrial control through design and manufacture as developing S5PV210 CPU of SAMSUNG used by ARM Cortex-A8 based on Android which is Open mobile platform is installed to embedded system. Data for temperature and humidity which are received by sensor module proved the suitability and validity for the real time framework design as implementing application program employed the smart phone App with hybrid application based on DB of web server.

  • XML Web Service based on internet can cause problems on transmission speed and data error. Also system analysis results simulated by several different research groups can hardly have reliability because of error data that come from improperly managed files. In order to solve this problems, algorithm sever using XML Web Service is shared on the internet so widely that various application programs based on basic analysis module with a united IO can be developed. And also XML Dataset DB is interacted with XML Web Service, which prevents propagation of error data. It causes to improve reliabilityon the load flow analysis result and solve the problems on data error or transmission speed that can possibly come from internet.

  • Internet application for education has drawn interests in recent time. Usually the method of communication was unidirectional, which means teachers posted educational material on a server and students received them. Even the usage of WWW can't overcome the restriction of unidirectional communication problem. In order to solve this problem, researchers and commercial vendors began to provide packages for bidirectional solution. WBT(Web Based Test) is important subject in this viewpoint. In this paper, the development and application of the 'Module Study' will be presented. The system realize the powerful personalized tutoring, which is even beyond the capability of conventional WBT, and propose a new direction of Web Based Learning.

  • As the Internet has been growing, WWW(World Wide Web) based services were popularized and users using the service were increased excessively. To support these environments, a processing of many transactions became an essential consideration. There are many researches regarding the user profiling on web services to support those transactions effectively. Most of them are just for grasping the comsumer's preferences. However, a trend of recent web service is not limited what they are doing between consumers and providers; a consumer can become a provider and also a provider can become a consumer virtual open environments such as open market on the internet. For this reason, it is necessary to inspect a preference of consumers as well as providers one. In this paper, we proposed personal preference tree(PPT) reflecting the preferences for providers and implemented the module applying to the web service, and evaluated the applicability the personal preference module through a simulation.

  • To interact database data with GRID system, implementation and installation of data manipulation module which manipulates database data and its index is required. Developing a search system searching data on web-based database, and integrating it with grid system, it is possible that searching data on web and use it directly on GRID system without independent data module. So, we can build easy and effective grid system, and the system could have more flexible architecture adapting data change. In this paper, we propose a searching system which interacting web-based database with GRID systems. We integrated the searching system with a bio god system which runs virtual screening jobs. As a result, UB Grid (Universal Bio Grid) is constructed. Developer could reduce time and effort required to integrate web data to GRID system, and user could use UB Grid system easily and effectively.

  • The development of a Web-based powertrain performance simulation system is introduced. The development approach of system architecture and each module is introduced along with the H/W and S/W used. The interface with all users is developed via a JAVA Applet. The powertrain modeling and other job history data of a user is managed systematically on the server by database to increase the reusability of the data. A self-developed program using object-oriented programming is used as a solver for the performance simulation. The graph tool for the analysis of simulation results has the collaboration support developed based on JAVA so that synchronous users can view the same result. As a result, the powertrain simulation is possible only with Web-browser for the user and the collaboration support among the relevant engineers is possible.

A Implementation and Performance Analysis of Emotion Messenger Based on Dynamic Gesture Recognitions using WebCAM (웹캠을 이용한 동적 제스쳐 인식 기반의 감성 메신저 구현 및 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we propose an emotion messenger which recognizes face or hand gestures of a user using a WebCAM, converts recognized emotions (joy, anger, grief, happiness) to flash-cones, and transmits them to the counterpart. This messenger consists of face recognition module, hand gesture recognition module, and messenger module. In the face recognition module, it converts each region of the eye and the mouth to a binary image and recognizes wink, kiss, and yawn according to shape change of the eye and the mouth. In hand gesture recognition module, it recognizes gawi-bawi-bo according to the number of fingers it has recognized. In messenger module, it converts wink, kiss, and yawn recognized by the face recognition module and gawi-bawi-bo recognized by the hand gesture recognition module to flash-cones and transmits them to the counterpart. Through simulation, we confirmed that CPU share ratio of the emotion messenger is minimized. Moreover, with respect to recognition ratio, we show that the hand gesture recognition module performs better than the face recognition module.

  • The appearance of web technology has accelerated the role of the application of multimedia technology, computer communication technology and multimedia application contents. Recently WBI model which is based on web has been proposed in the part of the new activity model of teaching-teaming. How to learn and evaluate is required to consider individual learner's learning level. And it is recognized that the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction is increased But many education systems that had been studied recently did not service fluently the courses which learners had been wanting and could not provide the way for the learners to study the learning weakness which is observed in the continuous feedback of the course. In this paper we propose design of multi-module system for course scheduling of learner-oriented using weakness analysis algorithm. First proposed system monitors learner's behaviors constantly, evaluates them, and calculates his accomplishment and weakness. From this weakness the multi-agent prepares the learner a suitable course environment to strengthen his weakness. Then the learner achieves an active and complete teaming from the repeated and suitable course.
