A Study on the Development of a Web Based Knowledge-Based Diagnosis System through a Combination of SIS and MMIS (안전정보와 보전관리정보를 연계한 Web 기반 지식베이스 진단시스템 구현)

  • To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of Industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime. Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented for multi-axis force control systems of an intelligence robot. A web based monitoring system is implemented by porting Linux at embedded systems which include a Xscale processor. A device driver is developed to receive data from multi-axis force sensors in Linux operation systems. To control this device driver, a socket program for the Labview is also developed.

  • 본 논문에서는 WEB대상으로 UI테스트를 최초 설계할 때, 웹로그를 분석하여 사용자들의 패턴을 파악하고 자동으로 테스트 시나리오와 케이스를 설계하여 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 메세지큐를 활용하여 로그 데이터를 효율적으로 수집할 수 있고, 분석 시스템과 사용자들이 사용하는 웹서버를 분리하여 로그분석으로 인한 시스템 과부하 현상을 예방 할 수 있다. 또한 로그분석을 통해 추출된 데이터를 통해 사용자들이 실제로 자주 사용하거나 사용했던 사용 경로를 이용하여 자동으로 테스트 시나리오와 테스트 케이스에 대한 자료들을 접할 수 있어 테스트 분석, 설계 과정에서의 소요되는 시간이 감축되는 것을 기대할 수 있으며, 실제 사용자들이 자주 이용하는 패턴으로 테스트 대상을 정할 수 있기 때문에 후에 테스트를 통한 결함이 조치가 된다면 사용자들이 결함 경험을 줄일 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

  • In this paper, web-base image processing system has been implemented for remote-controlled medical robot applications. The developed software system was hierarchically composed of diverse image processing and remote operation modules, and the hierarchical composition was satisfied the expandability to higher level application and the accessibility over the web. It can also support diverse file formats including DICOM, VRML, and CAD(STL) to display, transmit, store and share the processed images depending on application environment. Message-based data exchange, object-oriented module and open-source based software configuration will enable the dynamic combination associated with diverse remote medical application requirements.

  • The recent trend in home network system includes intelligent home environments that remote monitoring and control service is achieved without restrictions by device types, time, and place. Also the use of a vacuum robot in homes is gradually generalized on account of the convenience of the use. In this paper, we proposed and realized new home-monitoring system with the employment of an self-movement robot as one trial for realizing an intelligent home under home network environment. The proposed system can freely monitor every where in home, because the system effectively overcame the surveillance limitations of the existing monitoring system by attaching a Wireless Router and WebCam to a commercial vacuum robot. The outdoor users of this system can readily monitor any place which they want to supervise by controlling a vacuum robot with mobile telecommunication devices such as PDA. The wireless router installed with Linux operation system "OpenWrt" made it possible for the system users to transmit images and to control a vacuum robot with RS-232 communication.

  • An URC (Ubiquitous Robot Companion) is aimed for providing the best service according to situational information that it recognizes. In order to offer human-friendly and intelligent services, a robot middleware requires the technique to automate and control URC service processes, which are based on context-awareness. In this paper, we propose a context-aware workflow system to provide web services based URC services according to situational information. The proposed system offers a platform-independent command object model to control heterogeneous URCs, and supports web services based context-aware URC services. Therefore, the proposed system can increase the reliability of URC services in ubiquitous network environment, on which the diverse URC robots and platforms exist. And it can enhance the flexibility and adaptability of the functional and structural changes of URC systems.

  • To provide information service with time constraints, it is required to support real-time information system for retrieval and update of distributed information. In this paper, we propose an information retrieval system model for internet. We design and implement a Domain Administration-Oriented search engine for the regional information network. Accordingly, an intelligent robot gathering and updating distributed information is implemented. And, in order to improves the performance of the system, a realtime robot control policy based on the loads of network and web server is proposed.

  • In recent years, numerous studies have identified and explored issues related to web-service-oriented business process specifications, such as business process execution language (BPEL). In particular, business rules are an important cross-cutting concern that should be distinguished from business process instances. In this paper, we present a rule-based aspect oriented programming (AOP) framework where business rule aspects contained in business processes can be effectively separated and executed. This is achieved by using a mechanism of the business rule itself at the business rule engine instead of using existing programming language-based AOP technologies. Through some illustrative examples, this work also introduces a method by which business rule aspects, separated through an external rule engine, can be represented and evaluated. We also demonstrate how they can be dynamically woven and executed by providing an implementation example which uses two open-source-based products, the Mandarax rules engine and Bexee BPEL engine.

  • Polishing a die that has free-form surfaces is a time-consuming and tedious job, and requires a considerable amount of high-precision skill. Some workers tend to gradually avoid the polishing work because of the poor working conditions caused by dust and noise. In the our previous study, an automatic polishing system was developed to reduce the polishing time and cope with the shortage of skilled workers. And, to operate the polishing robot system from remote sites, communication network was constructed and monitoring programs (a server program and a client program)) were developed.
