This study shows that clothes to be just the same as the real thing can be Produced through the third dimension computer graphics, and then presents that not only the area of fashion design can be expanded in the virtual reality field by doing the simulation of the fashion show, but also the information can be made the real time public ownership and the communication can be fulfilled smoothly. In this study, analyzing the third dimension computer graphic programs to be used much at present, Alias Wavefront Company's Maya software which was the most effective in the clothes simulation and the clothes CAD SGS OptiTex 8.7 which went well substitutive for it were used of them. The conclusions of this study that got through the work manufacture are as follows: The first, if the file manufacturing in the clothes CAD by using the computer was stored, the pattern used 3D simulation was available because it could be summoned in 3D software. The second, if the data of DXF form in Maya program was summoned, they could not be applied by Maya Cloth supported in Nurbs only because they were recognized as the DXF_layer. So the curve along the outer lines of the pattern was drawn and Maya Cloth was applied to be possible to get the natural silhouette of clothes. The third, when the clothes were manufactured by 3D, if the draping character was applied according to the textile special quality, not only the control of textile's thickness, weight, quality feeling, and silhouette was available, but also the clothes were available to graft the special textile materials. The fourth, the natural motion of model was produced by capturing the actual model's walking action In order to produce the fashion show motion and also the dynamic fashion show was available by the angle of camera, the establishment of lighting, and etc. in the final rendering. The clothes manufactured by 3D are available to change the design by changing the materials, or by adding the details, or by utilizing the special materials on clothes. Therefore, the trial and error following at the clothes manufacture can be reduced. But the elevation of the rendering speed, the price down, the strengthening of personal security, and etc. are required.

The purpose of this survey study is to analyse the playground dimension of elementary school. To complete this mission, it is necessary to drive out elementary school have a lower dimension standard of playground through literal survey. Then, questionnaire and observation survey have been performed to teachers majored in physical education and these are focused on playground dimensions. The field survey study will provide the basic data for calculating proper playground dimensions and design source for planning space program of the school. The result of this survey study are as follows ; First, The Area of 'Gyo-ghi' is decreasing, and the land area of being used for 'Gyo-sa' is increasing. So the area of playground is decreasing. Second, The respondents require a playground size enough to contain 100m running track for testing the physical ability of students. But it is not possible to do so in current domestic condition, it is necessary to revise of the standard of physical test or enact a new one. Third, to solve the problems deviating from the playground size, the respondent suggests that set up a new gym or variable-size playgrounds rather than a large one Fourth, because playground has so much functions as rest, playing, walking and jogging etc besides physical education, it is necessary to consider the spaces for rest and play, when plan a tower-type school or small school.

This study purposed to provide a scientific base for understanding the effect of therapeutic intervention using motivation on chronic stroke patients' balance and determining whether it is applicable as a new therapeutic intervention. For this study, we sampled 38 chronic stroke patients, and divided them randomly into a motivation training group(n=20) and a control group(n=18). To the control group was applied neurological physiotherapy 5 times a week, and 30 minutes each time, and to the motivation training group was applied neurological physiotherapy and then, additionally, a Nintendo Wii-Fit program 3 times a week, and 30 minutes each time. Before and after the experiment, the subjects' dynamic balance was measured with functional reach test(FRT), timed up & go test(TUG), and 10m gait test, and their static balance was measured with the Romberger Test. When dynamic balance ability was compared between before and after the experiment and between the motivation training group and the control group, significant difference was observed in the results of FRT, TUG, and 10m walking test between before and after the intervention(p<.05). As to static balance, in addition, body balance movement distance was not significantly different. Therapeutic intervention using dynamic motivation was found to be more effective than the control group in improving dynamic balance.
The purpose of this paper is to review the validation on the application of low frequency IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit) sensors by replacing high frequency motion analysis systems. Using an infrared-based 3D motion analysis system and IMU sensors (22 Hz) simultaneously, the gait cycle and knee flexion angle were measured. And the accuracy of each gait parameter was compared according to the statistical analysis method. The Bland-Altman plot analysis method was used to verify whether proper accuracy can be obtained when extracting gait parameters with low frequency sensors. As a result of the study, the use of the new gait assessment system was able to identify adequate accuracy in the measurement of cadence and stance phase. In addition, if the number of gait cycles is increased and the results of body anthropometric measurements are reflected in the gait analysis algorithm, is expected to improve accuracy in step length, walking speed, and range of motion measurements. The suggested gait assessment system is expected to make gait analysis more convenient. Furthermore, it will provide patients more accurate assessment and customized rehabilitation program through the quantitative data driven results.
This study aims to examine for efficient production methods of custom-tailored clothing and application of 3D virtual clothing system in custom-tailored clothing market, by producing and analyzing both real clothing and 3D virtual clothing. For this study, a middle-aged woman is selected as the subject figure and one-piece is selected as the experimental clothes item. In real clothing, I conducted the wearing evaluation for experts and the subject figure. And In the virtual clothing, I conducted the wearing evaluation with i-Designer using 3D virtual clothing on simulation program. There are some differences between the data from body scanning and the real body size. In the custom-tailored clothing market in which the fitness is important, the research which measures the more exact data is needed. And in the case of complicate design, the functions which measure the activity and the fitness variously and correct the parts of curves are needed. This study experiments the availability of application of 3D Virtual Clothing System in custom-tailored clothing market by selecting one-piece as the experimental clothes item. So the follow-up studies for the other designs and fabrics are needed. Also, if the studies for checking the clothes pressure, the amount of composure, the space between skin and clothing when the virtual model wearing clothes is walking or shaking his arms are proceeding, then 3D virtual clothing System is applicable in custom-tailored clothing market. But there are some restrictions and lack of education in virtual clothing System yet, and it makes hard for workers in clothing market to use it in real production. However, 3D virtual clothing System will be practical in real market if there would be more research on its usability and practicality, and workers in clothing market can be easily educated on techniques of 3D virtual clothing system.

Purpose: This research investigated falls due to obstacles that occur among elderly people by assessing changes in the values of plantar foot force, peak force, and plantar foot pressure in elderly subjects while they were stepping over obstacles of different heights. Methods: The subjects were 20 elderly people aged 70-80 years; Pressure was measured on flat ground(0 cm), and after installing obstacles of 8 cm and 12 cm using the F-scan system, which is a resistance-type pressure sensor. A one-way analysis of variance was performed to compare pressure on each part of the foot according to various heights after collecting data using the Tekscan program. The least significant difference test was used for the post-hoc analysis, A p-value <0.05 was considered significant. Results: The force value for the toe area (parts 1, and 2) and contact pressure increased significantly with the 12 cm obstacle (p<0.05). The peak force value and the peak contact pressure for part 1 increased significantly with the 12 cm obstacle (p<0.05). Conclusion: Larger changes appeared in the functions and structure of the foot while subjects walked over obstacles of different heights compared to flatland walking. This result suggests that people have safety strategies to prevent falls, and that there is a need for a more realistic approach through practice to overcome obstacles of various heights to prevent falls.
The health-related habits dietary behaviors and nutrient intakes of the elderly living in Cheongju were investigated by interviews with a questionnaire from August to September in 1996. The responses of 169 free-living elderly aged over 65(male 91, female 78) were analyzed. Thirty-six percent of the subjects smoked currently, 33$\%$, drank alcoholic beverages, and 52$\%$ exercise regularly. Exercise was mostly in the from of walking for $\frac{1}{2}$-1 hour. Significantly higher proportions of males smoked, drank, and exercised as compared to females. Food groups eaten at every meal were examined on a 5-point scale, and the consumption scores were compared with groups according to sex, age, smoking, drinking, and exercise habits. The elderly who exercised regularly got significantly higher scores in their calcium intakes and the variety of the 6 food groups than the elderly who did not exercise. The dietary assessment data showed that the energy intakes of males and females were 81.9$\%$and 72.8$\%$ of the RDAs, respectively. The proportions of the elderly consuming less than 75$\%$ of RDAs of vitamin A and calcium were 96.5$\%$ and 91.1$\%$ of the total subjects, respectively. Higher educational status, more pocket money and regular exercise had positive effects on nutrient intakes, while smoking and drinking among females, but not males, had negative effects. Therefore, to improve nutritional status of the elderly, intake of vitamin A-and calcium-rich food such as milk with regular exercise should be emphasized on the education program. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects postural changes on respiratory muscles and acoustic parameters of the children with spastic cerebral palsy. Nine children with spastic cerebral palsy who required assistance when walking were selected. The ages of the children ranged from 6 to 9 years old. The phonation of the sustained vowel /a/ and the voice qualities of each child such as fundamental frequency($F_0$; Hz), pitch variation (Jitter; %), amplitude variation (Shimmer; %) and noise to harmonic ratio (NHR) were analyzed by Multi-Dimensional Voice Program (MDVP). The muscle activity of three major respiratory muscles: pectoralis major muscle, upper trapezius muscle and rectus abdorminalis muscle, were measured by examining the root mean square (RMS) of the surface EMG to investigate the impact of changes in the adjusted sitting posture of each subject. However, the RMS of pectoralis major muscle showed a significant differences (p<.05). Secondly, there were no significant differences in $F_0$, Jitter and Shimmer between pre and post posture change, but there was a significant difference in NHR (p<.05). The data were collected in each individual; once prior and once after the sitting posture change. The data were analyzed by Wilcoxon signed ranks-test using SPSS version 14.0 for Windows. The findings of this study were as follows; Firstly, the RMS of upper trapezius and rectus abdorminalis muscle were not significant different between pre and post sitting posture changes. From the result, it is concluded that changes in the adjusted sitting posture decreases the abnormal respiratory patterns in the children with spastic cerebral palsy which is characterized by the hyperactivity of the respiratory muscles in breathing. Also, there is increased on the voice qualities in children with spastic cerebral palsy.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the hip joint strengthening exercises using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) on the clinical symptoms and the treatment effects in balance, sit to stand, and gait abilities in patients with TBI. Design: A single case study. Methods: A 13-year-old adolescent with quadriplegia and hip joint control impairment participated in this four-week training intervention. The patient, diagnosed with TBI, wastreated with hip joint strengthening exercises using PNF. In the first week, we focused on strengthening the body, relaxing the hip flexors and activating the hip extensor muscles in order to solve the patient's physical function and body structure. From the 2nd and 4th week, we improved the motivation through the task-oriented method, and then weight-bearing training of the right lower extremity was proceeded by kicking a soccor ball with the left lower extremity. The exercises were performed for 4 weeks, 5 days a week, for 60 minutes with the exercise intensity gradually increased according to the subject's physical abilities. Results: As a result of the study, the patient demonstrated improvements in the physical examination, which were evaluated before and after intervention and included the manual muscle test, modified Ashworth scale, sensory assessment, coordination assessment, Berg balance scale, 5-time sit to stand test, and the 10 meters walk test. Conclusions: The results of this case suggest that a hip joint strengthening exercise program using PNF may improve hip control ability, balance, sit to stand and gait ability in a patient with TBI.
