아동기 비만이 혈장 지질, 혈압 및 혈당에 미치는 영향 (Relationships of Obesity in Childhood to Plasma Lipids, Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose)

  • In order to investigate the relationships of obesity in childhood to plasma lipid, blood pressure and blood glucose concentration, we selected 21 subjects for the moderate obese group(MO), 9 for mild obese group(MI), and 19 for the control group(C) among children aged 10~12. While the level of plasma triglyceride and VLDL-cholesterol of the MO group was much higher than that of group C, a significantly lower percentage of HDL-cholesterol was found in the MO compared to the percentage found in group C. Also the level of the total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol of the MI group as well as the MO was much higher than that of C. The elevated total-cholesterol level of the Mi group was due to increased LDL-cholesterol and that of the MO was due to increases in both VLDL-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol. As the result of these differences, the atherogenic index of the MO was significantly higher than that of C. The incidence of hypercholesterolemia( 200mg/dl) of the MI and MO was 60.0% and 77.8% respectively, All of the physical parameters and indexes except height were positively correlated with plasma lipid levels, systolic blood pressure, and blood glucose concentration. The analyses of the correlated with plasma lipid levels, systolic blood pressure, and blood glucose concentration. The analyses of the correlation indicated that central fat to peripheral fat ratio and waist to thigh girth ratio seemed to be closely associated to plasma lipid levels and atherogenic index. The MO had significantly higher systolic blood pressure than C and significantly higher blood glucose concentration was found in both MI and MO than in C. These results confirmed that obesity in childhood may be relevant to chronic metabolic diseases such as abnormal lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus.

여대생의 월경주기에 따른 섭식패턴과 섭식행동의 관련성 (Associations between Eating Behavior and the Eating Patterns of Female College Students Across the Menstrual Cycle)

  • Objectives: The associations between the eating behavior and energy and macronutrient intake from meals and snacks consumed during different times of the day across the menstrual cycle were investigated in 74 healthy female college students. Methods: A 9-day food record was collected during the last 3 days before menstrual onset (phase 1) and the first 3 days after menstrual onset (phase 2) and from the 4th to the 6th day after menstrual onset (phase 3), respectively. Anthropometry was assessed and eating behaviors were measured using the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ). Results: External eating was the most prevalent type of eating behavior, followed by restrained eating and emotional eating. Restrained eating was positively associated with energy, carbohydrate and lipid intake at the breakfast and midmorning snack during phase 3. However, emotional eating was also positively related to energy and macronutrient intake at the dinner and after-dinner snack during phase 1 and phase 3, with higher level detected in the phase 1. The association of emotional eating with the snack consumption was highest in phase 1. External eating was positively associated with energy and macronutrient intakes at the dinner and after-dinner snack across the three phases, the highest level being phase 1. In addition, restrained eating was positively associated with the weight, body mass index(BMI), fat mass, waist and hip girth of the subjects. Conclusions: Eating behaviors varied with regard to meals and snacks consumed during different times of the day across the three menstrual phases. Dinner and afterdinner snack consumption in premenstrual phase could be considered as a time when women are more prone to overconsumption and uncontrolled eating.

남성 정장 바지원형 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Men’s Formal Pants Pattern)

  • The purpose of this study was to establish a sizing system according to size and dimension whereby manufactured pants can be classified and develop men’s formal pants pattern based on the analysis of ready-made and educational pants pattern. The first, we surveyed the sizing and the basic pants patterns of the men’s ready-made wear companies, Secondly, through the survey data of the domestic men’ready-mad clothing industry, we proposed a new sizing system. Lastly, after compared three different types of ready-mad pants manufactured according to their patterns and an additional type of pants made after the educational pattern, the new men’s basic pants pattern were developed. The findings were as follows: 1. Survey of the domestic ready-mad garment industry showed that each company classified its own manufactured goods according to its own sizing system: moreover, they each used its own unique patterns which appeared to be resulted from a combination of two factors : the experience of a patterner and foreign know-how technology. 2. New sizing system was developed with 12 steps from size 74-88 to size 96-106 based on the high frequencies of the companies’3. New basic patterns for men’s formal pants were developed: Inseam length = 80cm, crotch line = H/4+4.6cm, pants ham = 23.5cm as basic lines and front waist girth =W/4+9.1cm as drafting line. 4. the superiority of the new basic patterns were been demonstrated by a high approval rate of the subjects who participated in testing.

경찰특공대(SWAT) 작전복(BDU) 착용실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Wearing Conditions of Battle Dress Uniform for the Korean Police Special Weapons Attack Team)

  • The objective of the study is was investigate the condition of the battle dress uniform worn by male members of the Korean Police Special Weapons Attack Team(KP-SWAT), identify problems, and provide basic raw materials for developing improved design of BDU. For this purpose, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on 92 male members of SWAT (Special Weapon Attack Team) units in Seoul using a questionnaire developed through observation and interview. Also, the body sizes of male SWAT members were measured. According to the results of body size measurements, male SWAT members generally require uniforms with a target bust girth, armhole, biceps circumference, thigh and calf circumference, longer jacket length, sleeve length, and trouser length to the knee. According to the results of the questionnaire survey, they reported dissatisfaction with the fit. In addition, they said that the Pockets are positioned too low for convenient use. Many subjects reported that their trousers were too short because of the rubber rings at the bottom of the legs. In addition, many subjects requested the alteration of the inconveniences caused by the designs finished with velcro on the bottom collar of the upper uniform, the marks and ensigns of the upper uniform, the bottom of the upper and lower uniform, and several pockets. Furthermore, there were many complaints concerning how they had to wear their uniform. The most frequently worn out and the body parts most often injured in field training and operations, they were reported, on the upper uniform, as the elbow, collar, neck, armpit, shoulder, and sleeve hem in that order, and on the lower uniform, the knee, interior calf, waist (belt rings), buttocks (rear pockets), and the bottom of the trousers (ankle) in that order As for questions concerning priorities in the improvements of the operational uniform and preferred design, the subjects recommended improvement in safety (protectiveness), workability (motional flexibility), design (shape), fit (size), comfort, ease in terms of putting on and taking off, etc., and the majority preferred two-piece designs ($67.4\%$), followed by one-piece ($30.4\%$), or both ($2.2\%$).

운동용 속옷의 착용효과 -소재별 발한량과 체중감량을 중심으로- (The Wearing Effect of Sport Underwear -Focusing on the Loss of Weight and Amount of Sweat according to the Materials-)

  • Three materials for sport underwear were manufactured by order for study, and among them, suitable material in order to perform an experiment on the effect of wearing was adopted. The results are as follows: The result of wearing an experimental clothes for sports manufactured as a foundation-type underwear for sports showed that if the same compositional materials were applied, laminating material had higher rate than that of others in the amount of sweat. Concerning relative humidity in clothes and the amount of sweat absorbed in clothes among the two kinds of materials which were produced by laminate, material 2(nylon+modal) was statistically exerts higher influence on the amount of sweat. The humidity in clothes keeps the optimal condition of 59.8%, and breast part showed the highest relative humidity. The material 2(nylon+modal) showed the highest comfortableness, the sense of warmth, humidity and voluminousness, and the sense of pressure. Follow-up survey revealed that in case of material 2, higher amount of sweat than that of the group objects in its early phase, and the amount of sweat varies from individuals. The temperature in clothes of folded parts of experimental clothes and maximum surface temperature was equivalent to that of average skin. With the lapse of time, the weight decreased of 11.03% in maximum, and 3.12% in minimum. The amount of change in the girth was greater in part of body frame than that of limbs, and especially, navel and waist part showed high decrease, and upper breast, breast and the largest part of abdomen showed relatively low decrease. The above experiment revealed that materials for suitable to the underwear for sports for loss of weight by an exercise should be made of doubled-nylon and modal, along with the laminate processing, which heightens the amount of sweat. Thus, wearing an experimental wear gave satisfaction in the view of the beauty of appearance as it did not discharge flowing secretion to the outside at the time of exercise.

중국 남성(中國 男性)의 기성복 정장(旣成服 正裝)에 대한 구매태도(購買態度) 및 사이즈 적합성(適合性)에 관(關)한 실태 조사(實態 調査) - 절강성 영파 지역(浙江省 寧波 地域)을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Survey of Chinese Men's Purchase Attitude and Size Fitness of Ready-Made Suits - Centered on the Area of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province -)

  • With the subjects of male consumers in their 20s to 40s living in the Ningbo area in Zhejiang Province, this study aims to investigate into the reality of their purchase attitude and size fitness of ready-made suits. The results are as follows; Looking into their demographic characteristics, 70.6% of the subjects were twenties, 60.6% were single, and educational career stood in the order of college, middle school, and high school graduation. They were largely absorbed in free trade, followed by teaching, commerce and service industry. 59.6% of them were Zhejiang Province belongs. One to two thousand yuan was the greatest portion of their monthly income. As for their purchase attitude of ready-made suits, they thought higher of material, quality, activity, and solidity than of design. They preferred to buy clothes at a department store. There was significant difference between purchase frequency and purchase price according to monthly income and jobs. Concerning brand recognition, the Chinese subjects favored "Youngor." Though Korea's brands were very lowly recognized, Korean products received really high recognition. Compared with China's brands, they found foreign brands excellent in design, followed by material/matter, wear, and sewing. As to their physical satisfaction and the size fitness of clothes, most subjects felt happy with their sizes. Trousers and jackets were among the unfitting suit items, while the girth of waist was the least satisfactory size. Therefore, in order to raise the market occupation rate of Korean suit goods in China, more aggressive marketing strategies are required to utilize the current Korean-style entertainment and maximize concerning brand images. In particular, outstanding products in consideration of prices should be made through the proper patternmaking to reflect the body types of the Chinese.

운동 트레이닝을 통한 심폐체력 반응의 차이가 복부비만 여성의 심혈관계 위험요인과 아디포싸이토카인에 미치는 영향 (Effects of different cardiorespiratory fitness response to exercise training on cardiovascular disease and adipocytokine in abdominal obesity women)

  • 본 연구는 복부비만 여성을 대상으로 운동 트레이닝을 통해 심폐체력의 반응의 차이가 심혈관계 위험요인 및 아디포싸이토카인 분비 및 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 운동 트레이닝 실시 후 심폐체력 향상의 유무를 이용하여 복부비만 여성 총 48명을 운동-반응 집단(n=34)과 운동-비반응 집단(n=14)으로 나누었다. 운동 트레이닝은 주당 1200kcal를 소모하도록 설계되었으며, 중등도-활발한 운동강도, 걷기나 간단한 조깅의 형태로 12주간 실시하였다. 측정 변인으로 실험 참가 전, 후에 신체조성, 혈압, 심폐체력, 혈중지질, 글루코스, 인슐린 그리고 유리지방산을 측정하였으며, 혈중 아디포싸이토카인과 복부지방 아디포싸이토카인 유전자 발현을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 운동 트레이닝 후 두 집단 모두 비만지표에서 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였지만, 허리둘레(p=0.040), 체지방률(p=0.031) 그리고 중성지방(p=0.023)과 수축기 혈압(0.046)은 운동-반응 집단과 운동-비반응 집단에서 상호작용 효과를 보였다. 혈중 렙틴은 두 집단에서 상호작용 효과(p=0.022)가 나타났으나 복부지방 렙틴 유전자는 두 집단 모두에서 트레이닝 후(p<0.001)에 유의하게 감소하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 12주간 운동 트레이닝 실시 후 심폐체력의 향상을 보인 운동-반응 집단은 운동-비반응 집단에 비해 심혈관계 질환 위험요소와 아디포싸이토카인 분비 및 유전자 발현에 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 운동 트레이닝 실시 후 심폐체력의 개선이 없었던 운동-비반응 집단에서도 비만지표와 혈중 렙틴 및 렙틴 유전자 발현이 감소되는 것을 살펴봤을 때 규칙적인 운동 자체가 비록 심폐체력의 개선이 없더라도 인간의 건강상의 이점을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 심폐체력이 향상되지 않더라도 규칙적인 운동 은 비만 관련 위험요인의 감소 및 예방에 좋은 영향을 주는 것으로 사료된다.

국내 여성용 인대 사용 실태 및 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Conditions of and Satisfaction with the Existed Female Dress Forms Usage)

  • 콘크리트포장에 초기균열을 일으키는 중요한 인자 중 하나는 콘크리트 내부의 초기온도이다. 따라서 콘크리트포장의 초기균열 발생원인을 연구하기 위해서는 초기온도를 계측하여 분석하는 일이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 초기균열이 발생하는 슬래브 장소와 초기균열의 발생시간이 초기온도패턴에 어떤 영향을 받는지를 검증하였고 더불어, 줄눈부에서 발생하는 균열의 발생시점과 시공시간과의 관계도 알아보았다. 본 논문을 위해서 "중부내륙고속도로 여주-충주간 제 1공구 시험도로 건설공사구간 STATION 1+400$\sim$1+700" 지점에서 시험시공이 이루어졌으며, 시공 후 72시간 동안 i-Button(온도계측센서)을 이용하여 온도계측을 시행하였으며, 초기균열의 거동은 Demec gauge를 사용하였으며, 초기균열 및 줄눈부 균열은 육안으로 확인하였다. 초기온도패턴과 초기균열의 분석 결과, 콘크리트의 초기온도패턴은 슬래브에 초기균열이 발생하는 위치와 시각에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다 초기균열균열은 온도낙차폭이 가장 큰 슬래브에서 발생하였으며, 그 시각은 슬래브의 온도가 급강하하는 새벽이었다. 또한, 콘크리트 슬래브의 거동이 인근 줄눈부에 발생한 초기균열에 따라 영향을 받으며. 줄눈부에 발생한 균열의 발생시기가 서로 다를 경우에 균열의 거동이 달라질 수 있다는 가능성이 제시되었다. 그 외에도, 오전에 시공한 슬래브에서의 균열 발생률이 오후에 시공한것보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 균열의 발생 간격이 큰 균열이 그렇지 않은 균열보다 더 큰 균열틈을 보였다.

경남지역 초등학생들의 음료수 섭취와 영양소 섭취량 및 BMI와의 관련성 (The Relationship between Beverage Consumption, Nutrient Intake and Body Mass Index in Elementary School Students in Gyeongnam Area)

  • 초등학생들의 음료수 섭취실태를 살펴보고 우유 및 가당 음료수섭취가 아동들의 영양소섭취와 비만도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 경남의 초등학생 160명을 대상으로 2006년 6월부터 7월까지 신체계측을 실시하고, 정량적 빈도법을 이용하여 음료수섭취량을 조사하였다. 또 24시간 회상법을 사용하여 비연속적으로 3일간의 영양소섭취량을 조사하였다. 조사대상 아동들의 음료수의 총 섭취빈도는 1개월에 93.5회로 하루 평균 3.1회 정도였다. 음료수 중, 우유섭취빈도가 가장 높았는데 1개월에 36회로 하루 평균 1회 이상 우유를 섭취하였으며 다음으로 주스, 발효유, 탄산음료의 순이었다. 또 총 음료수 섭취량은 하루 평균 626.6 mL였고, 이 중 우유를 가장 많이 섭취하였고(253.8 mL), 다음으로 주스(133.6 mL), 탄산음료(77.7 mL)의 순이었다. 또 우유와 두유를 제외한 가당 음료수 섭취량은 359.7 mL였다. 전체 음료수 섭취열량은 328.5 kcal로, 하루 섭취열량의 20.3%였으며, 우유 및 두유로부터 섭취한 열량은 하루 섭취열량의 9.8%였고, 가당 음료는 10.5%였다. 남녀 아동별로 비교해 보았을 때 가당 음료로부터 얻는 열량의 비율이 여자가 13.5%, 남자가 7.7%로 여자가 남자에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 가당 음료수를 섭취하는 빈도와 이로 부터 얻는 열량이 높을수록 단백질, 비타민 A, 나이아신의 섭취량이 낮아서 아동들의 식사의 질이 낮았을 가능성이 있었다. 그러나 우유 및 두유 섭취빈도는 아동들의 영양섭취와 상관이 없었다. 우유 및 두유 섭취빈도가 높을 수록 키는 컸고, 체지방비와 WHR은 낮았으며 우유 및 두유섭취량이 많을수록, 체지방비와 WHR은 낮았다. 또 우유 및 두유로 부터의 섭취열량이 많을수록 WHR은 낮았지만, 가당 음료수 섭취는 신체계측치와 상관이 없었다. 결론적으로 초등학생들의 경우 우유 및 두유 섭취빈도는 아동들의 영양소섭취와 상관이 없었고, 우유 및 두유섭취량이 많을수록 체지방비와 WKR은 낮았다. 반면에 가당 음료수 섭취가 영양적인 측면에서 식사의 질을 저하시킬 가능성은 있었지만, 아동의 비만도와는 관련이 없었다.
