디지털 매체를 활용한 일러스트레이션 교육 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Instructional Methods for Illustration Using Digital Media)

  • The present study aimed to find out the most effective instructional method for illustration to aid the $21^{st}$-century post digital generation learners in their education. Although the literature discusses government-led enactment and revision of educational policy and curriculums and research reports by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies as well as many other research articles deal with futuristic instructional methods, the instructional methods in practice have not fully changed yet. Illustration is a means of visual communication and a subject that best represent 'expressionism' and 'speed' of the post digital generation. The present study exemplifies instructional methods to establish the need for lesson plans that best suit individuality of students and for re-training instructors. Also, the feedback process with students proved that the post digital generation learned Photoshop quickly and improved creativity via image synthesis even in short-term instructions. The present findings can be possibly used as reference data for instructional methods for illustration using digital media that best suits learners of the post digital generation. This being said, further studies should delve into specific instructional methods.

  • Gear is general mechanical elements that used for power transmission between two shafts that interval is comparatively short. and it delivers big power as accurate ratio of speed. The profile of Spur gear which is the most basic factor is divided into Trochoidal fillet curve and Involute curve. Involute curve is used a lot of a shaped curve of machine parts such as a gear, a scroll compressor and a collar of centrifugal pump. However, It is poor to study the modeling of Trochoidal fillet curve and the three dimensions model shaped mathematical curve. This paper describes a mathematical model of profile shifted involute gear. and this model is based on Camus's theory. We draw three dimensions gear have accurate mathematical function using ADS, VisualLISP. and To check accuracy and perfection, we make a program of checking Interference. and use for this study.

스케일 불변적인 연산량 감소를 위한 경량 실시간 소형 적외선 표적 검출 알고리즘 (A Lightweight Real-Time Small IR Target Detection Algorithm to Reduce Scale-Invariant Computational Overhead)

  • Detecting small infrared targets from the low-SCR images at a long distance is very hard. The previous Local Contrast Method (LCM) algorithm based on the human visual system shows a superior performance of detecting small targets by a background suppression technique through local contrast measure. However, its slow processing speed due to the heavy multi-scale processing overhead is not suitable to a variety of real-time applications. This paper presents a lightweight real-time small target detection algorithm, called by the Improved Selective Local Contrast Method (ISLCM), to reduce the scale-invariant computational overhead. The proposed ISLCM applies the improved local contrast measure to the predicted selective region so that it may have a comparable detection performance as the previous LCM while guaranteeing low scale-invariant computational load by exploiting both adaptive scale estimation and small target feature feasibility. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce its computational overhead considerably while maintaining its detection performance compared with the previous LCM.

파이선 스크립트를 이용한 태양계 행성 시뮬레이터 구현 (Implementing Solar System Simulator using Python Script)

  • 본 논문에서는 3D 애니메이션 도구인 마야를 이용하여 태양계를 모델링하고 각 행성의 움직임과 물리적인 속성들을 정밀하고 객관적으로 구현하여 태양계의 구조를 시각적으로 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 시뮬레이터를 구현하였다. 메뉴를 이용한 마야의 모델링으로는 정밀한 물리적 속성 값을 표현하기 어려우므로 파이선 스크립트를 이용하여 각 행성의 특성을 표현하였다. 제안하는 시뮬레이터는 가상현실 분야나 학생들의 교육 자료로서 사용 가능하도록 모델링과 렌더링을 실사와 동일하게 구현하였다. 또한 마야 애니메이션에서의 메뉴를 이용한 모델링과 스크립트 언어인 파이선을 활용하여 누구라도 쉽게 실사 영상을 볼 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In construction of high speed railway, the fan shape is limited to achieve reduction of required travel time and concrete railway which has structural stability and induces small maintenance cost with allowable ground settlement is recently applied. So construction of concrete railway on soft ground in which considerable ground settlement occurs increases and settlement management in soft ground section is required. Field monitoring on ground movement and integrated geotechnical information system which manages construction, design, and field monitoring data are essential for settlement management of concrete railway subgrade. Site investigation data are also required due to future repair work. Therefore in this study, integrated geotechnical information system for construction and maintenance of concrete railway is developed. The developed system consists of a database and an application program. The database contains site investigation, construction, design, and field monitoring data throughout a railway. Application program performs various functions on managing and utilizing information in the database with graphic visualization of output. And by providing integrating information with comprehensible visual displays, the applicability and effectiveness of the developed system for construction and maintenance management were confirmed.

비 검출 및 제거 알고리즘의 DSP 최적화 (DSP Optimization for Rain Detection and Removal Algorithm)

  • 본 논문은 비 검출 및 제거 알고리즘의 DSP 최적화 기법을 제안한다. 우리는 카메라 움직임이 있는 환경에서 비 검출 및 제거 기법을 제안하고, 알고리즘 레벨 및 DSP 레벨에서 최적화를 수행한다. 제안하는 기법은 알고리즘 측면에서 기존에 활용하던 라벨링을 블록 단위의 이진 패턴 분석을 통해 오 검출 영역을 제거하는 방식으로 대체하였고 고속 움직임 추정 알고리즘을 이용하여 연산 시간을 개선하였다. DSP 측면에서는 내부 메모리 최적화와 EMDA이용, 소프트웨어 파이프라인 등을 통한 최적화를 통해 임베디드 환경에서 실시간성을 보이며 실험 결과에서는 제안 기법의 성능과 시간 측면의 우수성을 보여준다.

고령자를 고려한 컬러테라피 기반 색채 배색 팔레트 (A Palette of Color Combination Based on Color Therapy for the Elderly)

  • As fast-speed of aging in modern society has led to increased concern for aging and health improvement of senior citizens, desire about having healthy living-environment has also increased. Living space for senior citizens has to play role of healing for their body feature as well as decrease in mental and psychological function. Color, as important factor that supplements degenerated sense and coping ability caused by aging, it has been revealed through modern medical science that color is effective for making nervous or calming down when it is delivered to one's nerve through sight. The purpose of this study is to suggest basic resource for color arrangement palette of living space and application method by color therapy to improve seniors' mental health by considering psychological and physical features caused by aging. First, consider psychological and physical feature of seniors and color therapy effect through previous research. Second, extract RGB value after selecting color that is helpful for their mental health by using palette from 'Korea Agency for Technology and Standards'. Third, extract other 3 colors that are similar with extracted color from 'NCS 1950 Color System'. Fourth, deduct palette of 3 color arrangement by using 'NCS Navigator' program. Lastly, extract arrangement palette for them by considering difference in visual features, and then suggest arrangement application for each palette through Computer Simulation.

  • The residential and welfare facilities for the elderly are continuously increasing due to change of value on family under situation of aging population increase. And it is predicted that accommodation capacity of facilities for the elderly and its rate those facilities takes compared to whole social welfare facilities will be accelerated considering past increase speed. On the other hand, about 60% of the elderly have low physical and mental level almost close to disabled people therefore special environmental concerns helping their independent living are necessary. Among them, color application is one of the most important factors for smooth understanding, communication and psychological remedy effect for them. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interior color status in assisted living facilities for the elderly in America which is a leading country in terms of the understanding and policy for the elderly as a part of the research project to suggest the developed solution about the Korean residential welfare facilities for the elderly For this purpose, not only importance and effect of color and visual characteristics and reaction to color in elderly environment but also general concept and policy of the ‘assisted living facility’ in America were researched through documents review. And measuring of color on 5 main spaces such ; lobby/lounge, corridor, dining room, bedroom, stairway/ramp of the 10 facilities in America were performed under analysis of its functional and aesthetic level based on Moon & Spencer's color theory.

시간일관성을 이용한 그림자 텍스처 생성방법 (Shadow Texture Generation Using Temporal Coherence)

  • 그림자는 화상의 사실성을 높이며 물체들 사이의 공간적 관계를 유추할 수 있도록 해준다. 기존의 그림자 텍스처 생성 방법에서는 한 물체의 텍스처를 생성하기 위해서 다른 모든 물체들을 렌더링 해야만 하므로 Ν개의 물체가 있을 때 모든 물체들의 그림자 텍스처를 만들기 위해서는 Ο(Ν$^2$)의 시간이 필요했다. 이 논문에서는 깊이버퍼를 그림자 텍스처 생성에 사용하여 각 물체들에 대해서 상수 시간에 그림자 텍스처를 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 시간 일관성을 이용해서 속도를 더욱 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 정적인 물체의 깊이 값은 시간이 지나도 변화가 없다. 이 값들을 재사용하여 정적인 물체들은 되도록 그리지 않고 동적인 물체들만 렌더링 함으로써 깊이버퍼와 그림자 텍스처를 효율적으로 생성할 수 있다. 이 방법의 비용은 움직이는 물체의 개수에만 비례한다.

20세기 초 이탈리아의 실험예술 의상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Experimental Clothing of the Early 20th Century Italian Artists)

  • This study concentrates on the relationship between the early 20th century italian artists and their works in the field of clothing design. They advocated the creation of art for life and introduced a new type of work of art which I will call 'experimental clothing for art'. The experimental clothing for art showed its dynamic characteristics in the field s of line and form, color, pattern, and material. The Italian artists made simple and functionalistic dresses, using asymmetric, geometric cuts. in pattern making. They employed dynamic patterns in textile design and favored brilliant colors which they debunked as storage and traditional. With regard to material, they used unusual materials such as metal, net, wire, and paper and inexpensive materials. To investigations of the visual expression of experimental clothing for art in Italy have led us to the internal expressions which are avant-garde, dynamic & speed, functionality & popularity, ephemeral & transformable, and warlike. As a result of the reflection of the times and the artists's will and roles the experimental clothing for art in Italy implicated contemporary clothing in the early twentieth century and it was only laboratory art that underwent various experiments in canvas but a model of efforts for the at of living, which was anti-traditional. It offered a new future and created a new environment. It is left for future research how the experimental clothing for art developed in countries other than Italian.
