A Study on Utilization of NTRIP Data Delivery and Virtual RINEX available from Seoul Metro Government Network-RTK system (서울특별시 네트워크 RTK 시스템의 NTRIP 데이터 전송 몇 Virtual RINEX의 활용 방안 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 서울특별시 네트워크 RTK 시스템의 활용 및 Virtual RINEX 실용성 검토를 위해 수행하였다. 네트워크 RTK 시스템의 활용 다양화를 위해서는 NTRIP을 통하여 타기관의 사용자 시스템으로 실시간 전송, 시설물의 변위에 대한 GNSS로 모니터링 방법, GNSS Internet Radio Client와 Radio Modem을 이용한 RTK측위를 소개하고, Virtual RINEX 실용성 검토는 VRS RTK 측위 결과와 이동국 측위 지점에 대한 Virtual RINEX 데이터의 후처리 성과를 비교하였다. 그 결과, Virtual RINEX와 GPS 관측 성과는 거의 동일하여 향후 Virtual RINEX도 후처리 데이터로 사용할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였고, VRS RTK 측위 성과는 Virtual RINEX 후처리 성과와 수 mm 이내 차이를 보여 산출된 성과가 거의 같음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In order to achieve high capacity and reliable link quality in user communication, this paper proposes a new concept of virtual cell: the Dual Virtual Cell(DVC), and DVC employment strategy based on DWCS. The proposed system uses two kinds of virtual cell. One is the AVC(Active Virtual Cell) which exists for actual traffic and the other is the CVC(Candidate Virtual Cell) which contains a set of candidate antennas to protect user's link quality from performance degradation or interruption. And also this system aims to reduce MT's overloads and acheive a prompt link change successfuly by introducing DVC structure which makes it possible for network to monitor real-time channel and to conrol communication links. The proposed system constructs DVC by using antenna selection method and improves frame error performance with employing Space-Time Trellis Code(STTC).

  • The purpose of this study is to show typology of virtual world and to look out how virtual world develops especially in Korea. As paradigm changes, the scientific virtual reality and world wide web are absorbed into 3-D virtual world in Metaverse. The metaverse is the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space. There are two categories of virtual world, the Ludic Virtual World which is oriented from games like MMORPGs and the Social Virtual World which is oriented from network communication system. Compared to North America and Europe, the Ludic Virtual World and game society grow and develop quickly in Korea. It's because Korean users prefer the online environment where millions of people live out a collective fantasy existence.

  • The concept of Virtual Character has been developed for a long time with people's demand for cultural and entertainment products such as games, animations, and movies. In recent years, with the rapid development of concepts and industries such as social media, self-media, web3.0, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and Metaverse, Virtual Character has also expanded new derivative concepts such as Virtual Idol, Virtual YouTuber, and Virtual Digital Human. With the development of technology, people's life is gradually moving towards digitalization and virtualization. At the same time, under the global environment of the new crown epidemic, human social activities are rapidly developing in the direction of network society and online society. From the perspective of digital media content, this paper studies the production technology of Virtual Character related products in the Chinese market, and analyzes the future development direction and possibility of the Virtual Character industry in combination with new media development directions and technical production methods. Consider and provide reference for the development of combined applications of digital media content industry, Virtual Character and Metaverse industry.

  • Recently, the explosive popularity of Internet gave birth to researches on Distributed Virtual Environments(DVE). They aim at providing a shared application data environment at realtime for users participating in the same application session across Internet. As more users join the session, and as more multimedia data are shared, because of network resource limitation, it is more difficult to maintain the quality of DVE, such as users' satisfaction level. Previous works mainly tried to solve the scalability, synchronization and data transport issues at the application level, with limited success. We suggest a new network centric solution, that consists of a novel network architecture and protocols upon which any large-scale DVE application can be easily developed. The performance of the proposed scheme, called GAIA, is verified by simulation.

Learning of Emergent Behaviors in Collective Virtual Robots using ANN and Genetic Algorithm

  • In distributed autonomous mobile robot system, each robot (predator or prey) must behave by itself according to its states and environments, and if necessary, must cooperate with other robots in order to carry out a given task. Therefore it is essential that each robot have both learning and evolution ability to adapt to dynamic environment. This paper proposes a pursuing system utilizing the artificial life concept where virtual robots emulate social behaviors of animals and insects and realize their group behaviors. Each robot contains sensors to perceive other robots in several directions and decides its behavior based on the information obtained by the sensors. In this paper, a neural network is used for behavior decision controller. The input of the neural network is decided by the existence of other robots and the distance to the other robots. The output determines the directions in which the robot moves. The connection weight values of this neural network are encoded as genes, and the fitness individuals are determined using a genetic algorithm. Here, the fitness values imply how much group behaviors fit adequately to the goal and can express group behaviors. The validity of the system is verified through simulation. Besides, in this paper, we could have observed the robots' emergent behaviors during simulation.

  • The Internet traffic is forecasted to grow at a compound annual rate of 21 % from 2013 to 2018, according to surveys carried out by Cisco [1]. Network resources are significantly over-provisioned in today's networks, and it is quite common to see link utilization in the 30-40% range [2]. Additionally, the multi-media services have widely divergent bandwidth and Quality of Experience (QoE) requirements. Unfortunately, the huge transmission capacity will increase the power consumption of network equipment [3]. Applications Coordinated with Transport, Internet Protocol and Optical Networks (ACTION) [4] has been proposed to realize a multi-QoE, application-centric, and highly energy-efficient network that leverages flexible elastic optical network technologies [5-7]. This paper provides key network technologies for realizing the ACTION, which are a virtual optical slice core network and a Time Division Multiplexing (TDM)-based deterministic active optical access network.

  • Currently, advanced national research network groups are continuously conducting R&D for the requirement to provide SDN/NFV-based network automation and intelligence technology for R&E users. In addition, the requirement for providing large-scale data transmission with the high performance networking facility, compared to general network environments, is gradually increasing in the advanced national research networks. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose an open API-based virtual network provisioning automation platform for large data transmission researched and developed to respond to the networking requirements of the national research network and present the implementation results. The platform includes the KREONET-S VDN system that provides SDN-based network virtualization technology, and the Kubernetes system that provides container-oriented server virtualization technology, and the Globus Online, a high-performance data transmission system. In this paper, the environment configurations, the system implemetation results for the interworking between the heterogeneous systems, and the automated virtual network provisioning implementation results are presented.

  • VPN을 구성하기 위해서는 각각의 단말기(PC)에 VPN장치를 장착하거나, 공중망으로 연결하는 라우터에 VPN장치를 장착해야만 한다. 본 논문은 VPN 장비 없이, NDIS Driver를 개발하여 장비 없이 언제 어디서든 VPN을 구성하여, 보안성과 이동성, 효율성을 높여 해킹으로부터 안전한 네트워크를 구축하는 것이 목표이다.
