A Study on Estimating Characteristics of ABS Using High Frequency PWM Control (고주파수 PWM 제어를 이용한 ABS의 특성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In general the surge pressure generated in hydraulic systems causes noise, vibration and odd effect to the system. To reduce the surge pressure, high frequency PWM control of 20KHz was attempted. To estimate the braking noise caused by surge, a vehicle equipped with on-board ABS hydraulic modulator has been experimented with respect to the various breaking condition. Thorough this experiments, it was found that breaking noise has been reduced using high frequency PWM control method compare with low frequency method. To evaluate high frequency control m practice, including verification of general functionality, EMI tests was experimented. Its was found that it is necessary to have the solution to electromagnetic interference(EMI) generated by switching elements.

  • This study includes noise automatic inspection system for washing machine auto-transmission one of modern home necessary. We effort to find and certificate sound noise source by sound power and sound intensity, and apply to frequency analysis in vibration related sound noise. still more we have been studying to data acquisition and programming for MS VisualBasic version 5.0. System component is below. 1) Pentium PC or data acquisition. 2) DSO for noise acquisition. 3)S/W for comparison and decision. 4) I/F Board for data communication. Wave form data through the DSO are converting to ASCII code data. The ASCII code through binary converting S/W. Finally we will making noise monitoring system and automatic inspection system.

  • Ships have been propelled and maneuvered by electrical drives since trle late seventies. Recently, rare earth PMs allow the design of brushless motors with very high efficiency over a wide speed range. This is the most important factor in ship propulsion technology. Several types PM motors have been developing for ship propulsion system. However these have disadvantage such as cogging torque. It causes an undesired effect that contributes to output ripple, vibration, and noise of machine. Therefore several techniques may be adopted in designing PM motor in order to reduce the cogging torque. This paper describes cogging torque receding methods such as adjusting arigap length, magnet arc, and magnet thickness. That are analysed by using the finite element method(FEM) and the maxwell stress tensor method.

  • The cogging torque is important to the cut-in wind speed. And, it causes the acoustic noise and the vibration on the machine. This paper presents a 3D FEA(Finite Element Analysis) to evaluate the effect of magnet skew and stator displacement on cogging torque reduction, for double core AFPM(Axial Flux Permanent Magnet) generator. As a result, the magnet skew and the stator side displacement are proved excellent techniques to reduce the cogging torque.

A Study on Perceptual Evaluation of Noise Sources in Living Environment (생활소음의 감성적 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The subjective unwantedness felt from the noise sources in living environment has been evaluated by investigating the limit of perceptual loudness of the noise. The noise limits were selected by the subjects. And the noises were analyzed to find out whether there is any correlation with Zwicker parameters and ACF/IACF factors. It seemed that the loudness of noise from vacuum cleaner does not affect its perceives noisiness. Traffic noise also seems to be less influential in annoyance rating. It was resealed that floor impact noise generated by bang machine is the most irritating noise that can be heard in residential buildings.

  • In this paper, hydraulic damper was studied to solve vibration problems of bridge, structures and several mechanic parts rising magnetic fluid. The damper was modeled using Magneto Rheological fluid and MR damper was manufactured on the basis of design drawing. To investigate the efficacy of magneto rheological phenomenon. experiments were performed on the several design parameters using Universal Testing Machine(UTM). Damping efficacy were examined by frequencies. displacement and electric currents through experiments.

  • The measured vibration on a machine or a structure is shaped by the excitation waveform and the path transfer function. Mechanism diagnostics tends to focus on retrieving source features by minimizing the effects of the structiral path, while in structural diagnostics we are more interested in minimizing source effects and retrieving path parameters. In structural diagnostics, therefore, there are experimental issues of gathering date that are independent source effects and finding a transfer function signature that reveals structural defects. This paper describes how the transfer function can be obtained more accurately by experiment using the compatibility relationship which is newly discovered.

  • Since power plant is an important system to provide electricity, it is necessary to monitor it in order to operate safely. Much information related with machine diagnosis exists in written form instead of digital data. So, it causes difficulties of analyzing and finding solutions. Rulebased expert system can provide flexible and effective solutions to users. In this paper, Recursive Bayesian Estimation is applied in order to increase accuracy of solutions.

  • The severe problem in improving the positioning precision of a permanent linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) is the large detent force caused by the PM. It is generally an undesired effect that contributes to the torque ripple, vibration and noise of machine. In this paper, the method to reduce detent force according to the mover skew is studied and analyzed using the analytical method. The analytical results are validated by finite clement analyses.

  • 대부분의 동적댐퍼들은 주구조물의 진동진폭을 정해진 주파수 변위내에서 최대로 줄이는 것을 목 표로 한다. 그러나 공작기계의 안정성은 시편과 공구사이의 상대변위와 절삭력에 의해 결정되는 전달함수의 최대크기에 의해서보다는 실수부분의 최소치에 의해 결정된다는 것이 잘 알려져 있 다. 본 논문에서는 이 사실에 착안하여 공작기계에서 발생하는 채터를 흡수하기 위한 최적의 댐 퍼를 설계하는 절차를 제시하고 1 자유도로 대표될 수 있는 구조물의 경우에 대하여 구체적인 방 법을 예시하였다. 종래의 최적 댐퍼의 성질을 구하는 방법에 비해 수학적인 절차가 약간 복잡해 지기는 하나 전산기를 이용하여 큰 어려움이 없이 최적의 설계자료를 얻을 수 있다. 댐퍼 질량이 정해졌을 때 감쇠율과 스프링 계수를 변수로 하는 목표함수가 하나의 식으로 유도될 수 없기 때 문 에 간단한 최적화 방법으로 이변수 황금분할법을 사용하였다. 수치적인 예를 통하여 종래의 다른 방법에 의한 결과와 비교하고 제안된 방법론의 타당성을 입증하였다.
