유량제어밸브 개방형태가 선형펌프 방식 수중사출 시스템에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Investigation of Effect of Opening Pattern of Flow Control Valve on Underwater Discharge System using Linear Pump)

  • In the present study, the effect of opening patterns of a flow control valve on underwater discharge systems using a linear pump was investigated numerically. For that, a improved mathematical model was developed. The improvement is to separate a middle tank from a water cylinder because the cross-section area of the inlet of the middle tank is an important parameter. To validate the improved model, calculation results were compared with a previous study. The results showed that $2^{nd}$ order or more polynomial opening patterns had an advantage over ramp opening patterns. Higher an order of polynomial resulted in wider operating limits. An escape velocity and a maximum acceleration of underwater vehicle were affected by time derivative of the cross-section area of the flow control valve. Besides, as a velocity profile of the vehicle got closer to linearity, the escape velocity got faster and the maximum acceleration got smaller. And velocities of the vehicle and piston had similar variation trend.

  • 비산회에 의한 보일러 튜브 마모 문제는 석탄화력 보일러 튜브 파손에 주요한 요인이 된다. 때문에 튜브 보호막이나 다공판 등이 마모 문제 완화를 위하여 사용되고 있다. 그러나 비산회에 의한 튜브마모 문제는 이런 방법을 통하여 완전히 해결될 수 없는데 이는 보일러 마다 유동 조건이 다를 뿐만아니라 예상치 못한 위치에서 국부적으로 마모가 심화될 수 있기 때문이다. 문제는 보일러 내부 비대칭 유동과 국부적 유속 증가에서 기인함으로 튜브 마모 문제의 해결에 있어서 보일러 내부 유동을 명확히 파악하는 것이 무엇 보다 중요하다 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 튜브 마모 문제에 해결을 위해 사용되는 Cold Air Velocity Technique(CAVT)에 대하여 고찰하고 하동화력 2호기 보일러에 대하여 CAVT를 실제 적용함으로써 석탄화력 보일러에 있어서 CAVT 적용 가능성을 검증하였다.

소파블록피복 케이슨 방파제에서 월파의 거동분석: 규칙파 조건 (Behavior of Overtopping Flow of Caisson Breakwater with Dissipating Block: Regular Wave Conditions)

  • 본 연구에서는 소파블록피복 케이슨 방파제 후면으로 떨어지는 월파의 거동을 분석하기 위하여 수리모형실험을 수행하였다. 방파제 후면으로 낙하하는 월파는 배후사면으로 내습하며 배후사면의 안정성에 직접적인 영향을 준다. 본 연구에서는 배후면에서의 월파거동을 검토하기 위해 월파의 전면유속, 파형 및 관입거리를 측정하였으며, 다양한 파랑조건에 대한 월파의 특성변화를 비교 분석하였다. 수리모형실험은 파랑조건과의 상관성에 초점을 두기 위해 규칙파를 대상으로 하였으며, 월파수괴의 전면유속, 파형, 관입거리를 측정하기 위하여 그림자기법과 교차상관기법을 응용한 화상유속기법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 실험결과에 의하면 배후면에서 월파의 관입거리와 유속은 입사파의 주기와 파고가 커짐에 따라 증가함을 알 수 있었으며, 무차원변수 사이의 상사관계로부터 유속 및 거리분포에 대한 경험식을 유도하였다.

태권도 옆차기 동작의 인체관절과 분절사이의 협응 과정 (The Process of the Interjoint and Intersegmental Coordination of Side Kick Motion in Taekwondo)

  • 본 연구는 9명의 남자 중학교 초보피험자들을 대상으로 태권도 옆차기 동작의 숙련정도에 따른 운동학적 협응과정을 살펴보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이용된 변인은 최대합성직선속도, 분절간 각속도, 각도 대 각도 도면이었다. 분석결과, 연습후기로 갈수록 인접한 분절간의 운동량 전이가 잘 이루어져 각 분절의 최대합성직선속도가 유의하게 증가하였으며 분절간 각속도에서 학습후기로 갈수록 몸통에서 대퇴, 하퇴분절로의 순차적인 전이를 보였으며 던지는 듯하면서 미는 듯한 동작형태를 보였다. 엉덩관절과 무릎관절의 각도-각도 도면에서는 학습초기에는 다이나믹스한 변화를 보였으나 학습이 됨에 따라 숙련된 피험자처럼 안정적인 협응 패턴을 보여주었다.

  • Tire noise is a major noise source at high speeds. One of the noise source is controlled by pattern and structure. Pattern noise is effected by the shape of tread. And the bending stiffness of tire is influenced to the resonance of tire‘s belt. But in high frequency region, FEA is not appropriated with application. So this paper discusses about wave propagation of tire. There has been much effort to verify the flexural wave velocity with structure design specification.

  • General wheel mark in mono-crystalline silicon wafer finding is able to be expected because it depends on radius ratio and angular velocity ratio of wafer and wheel. The pattern is predominantly determined by the contour of abrasive grits resulting from a relative motion. Although such a wheel mark is made uniform pattern if the process parameters are fixed, sub-surface defect is expected to be distributed non-uniformly because of characteristic of mono-crystalline silicon wafer that has diamond cubic crystal. Consequently it is considered that this phenomenon affects the following process. This paper focused on kinematic analysis of wafer grinding process and simulation program was developed to verify the effect of process variables on wheel mark. And finally, we were able to predict sub-surface defect distribution that considered characteristic of mono-crystalline silicon wafer

원심 다익홴의 유동에 대한 컷 오프 각도의 영향 (Effect of Cut-off Angle on Flow Pattern of Centrifugal Multi-blade Fan)

  • This study investigated on details of flow characteristics of a multi-blade fan for domestic ventilation. Experiments and analysis were carried out to describe on flow pattern with variations of cut-off angle near the scroll housing throat, which were performed by PIV measurement for the flow field and by total pressure probes. The stagnation point at cut-off region of the fan moves to the exit of the scroll housing as the cut-off angle increases. The movement of stagnation point and the variation of throat area of the scroll housing influence to the distribution of velocity magnitude at the exit of the fan. Furthermore, a large distortion of the velocity distribution at the scroll exit causes to increase mixing loss along the flow path.

  • This paper describes the influence of through-flow on the mixed convection in a parallel plates with the upper part is cooled and the lower part heated. When forced convection is imposed on natural convection, it is found that the flow pattern of mixed convection in the parallel plates can be classified into three patterns which were affected by Reynolds number. In such a mixed convection, the flow pattern plays an important role in the heat transfer process. In this study, thermo-sensitive liquid crystal suspension method is employed, then the visualization image acquired through the above method is processed by the color image processing technique and the two-dimensional velocity vector and temperature configuration are measured simultaneously.

이족보행로봇의 동적보행과 역동역학 해석 (Dynamic Walking and Inverse Dynamic Analysis of Biped Walking Robot)

  • The dynamic walking and the inverse dynamics of the biped walking robot is investigated in this paper. The biped robot is modeled with 14 degrees of freedom rigid bodies considering the walking pattern and kinematic construction of humanoid. The method of the computer aided multibody dynamics is applied to the dynamic analysis. The equations of motion of biped are initially represented as terms of the Cartesian coordinates, then they are converted to the minimum number of equations of motion in terms of the joint coordinates using the velocity transformation matrix. For the consideration of the relationships between the ground and foot, the holonomic constraints are added or deleted on the equations of motion. The number of these constraints can be changed by types of walking pattern with three modes. In order for the dynamic walking to be stabilizable, optimized trunk positions are iteratively determined by satisfying the system ZMP(Zero Moment Point) and ground conditions.

단열 수평관내 이상류의 유동특성 (Two-Phase Flow Characteristics in an Adiabatic Horizontal Tube)

  • Two-phase loop systems using the latent heat capacity of their working fluids can meet the increasing power requirements and are well suited to thermal management systems of future large applications, due to its abilities to handle large heat loads and to provide them at uniform temperatures regardless of the changes in the heat loads. Therefore some experiments on the effect of the gas and liquid superficial velocities, $j_G,\;j_L$ on flow pattern transition, void fraction and frictional pressure loss were performed on a co-current air-water flow in an adiabatic horizontal tube. The flow patterns were depended on the superficial velocity of each phase. It snowed that the increasing $j_L$, resulted in a significant increase in the frictional pressure loss for all flow patterns, at a constant $j_G$. The experimental results were also evaluated with some of existing models and correlations.
