  • This paper describes syntactic pattern recognition algorithm for pattern recognition and diagnostic parameter extraction of ECG signal. ECG signal which is represented linguistic string is evaluated by pattern grammar and its interpreter-LALR(1) parser for pattern recognition. The proposed pattern grammar performs syntactic analysis and semantic evaluation simultaneously. The performance of proposed algorithm has been evaluated using CSE database.

The Sleeve-Cap Part Drafting Method of the General-Purpose Sleeve Pattern and the Verification of Compatibility

  • This study devised and drew custom sleeve patterns by using a regression equation with the data from 7 models along with the sleeve that was slightly modified to make the general-purpose sleeve pattern. To devise a general-purpose sleeve pattern, the sleeve pattern was drawn as an object for comparison by applying the Bunka drafting system (sleeve pattern by the Bunka drafting system) to the basic upper garment. Actual sleeves, made by using the three types of patterns above, were created and tested by models. Next, 30 panel members participated in a sight test of the compatibility of the sleeves to examine the validity of the sleeve drafting method acquired using the regression equation. The test proved that the custom sleeve pattern and the general-purpose sleeve pattern were more suitable for the characteristics of arm structures. Thus, the new sleeve-cap part drafting method using the regression equation was shown to have validity. As a result, since a very significant correlation was obtained for the body measurement figures and the basic pattern of the adequate basic pattern of the sleeves, this study concludes that it is possible to come up with primary data that can be widely used by increasing the number of subjects.

Comparison of middle-aged women's bodice pattern using 3D data -focused on the DC Suite program-

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an excellent bodice prototype that is adapted to the body shape of middle-aged women using 3D measurement data. In the evaluation of appearance, S pattern 4.00, B pattern 2.80, E pattern 2.40, L pattern 1.40 were shown in order, and the best fit of S pattern was evaluated as excellent. As a result of looking at the color distribution chart to find out the amount, E pattern and S pattern were not space in the front bust, armhole, and the back waist line. The B pattern and the L pattern were marked in blue because of insufficiency space in the back neck. As a result of evaluation the amount of air gap in the clothing, the air gap of the bust was 0.12, which is the largest pattern of B. Next, the L pattern appears as a tight circle with smallest air gap in the order of the S pattern 0.096, the E pattern 0.08, and the L pattern 0.003. The S pattern was evaluated to be the most appropriate for the body shape of middle-aged women. But the waist and back were slightly tight. Middle-aged women have larger shoulder-related items and larger waist circumference. Therefore, when you set the perimeter item, you should add 1-2cm of space amount and give extra space to the circumference area.

GPU를 이용한 DNA 컴퓨팅 기반 패턴 분류기의 효율적 구현 (Efficient Implementing of DNA Computing-inspired Pattern Classifier Using GPU)

  • DNA computing-inspired pattern classification based on the hypernetwork model is a novel approach to pattern classification problems. The hypernetwork model has been shown to be a powerful tool for multi-class data analysis. However, the ordinary hypernetwork model has limitations, such as operating sequentially only. In this paper, we propose a efficient implementing method of DNA computing-inspired pattern classifier using GPU. We show simulation results of multi-class pattern classification from hand-written digit data, DNA microarray data and 8 category scene data for performance evaluation. and we also compare of operation time of the proposed DNA computing-inspired pattern classifier on each operating environments such as CPU and GPU. Experiment results show competitive diagnosis results over other conventional machine learning algorithms. We could confirm the proposed DNA computing-inspired pattern classifier, designed on GPU using CUDA platform, which is suitable for multi-class data classification. And its operating speed is fast enough to comply point-of-care diagnostic purpose and real-time scene categorization and hand-written digit data classification.

초등학교 4학년 수학에서의 '무늬 만들기' 내용의 분석과 비판 (An Analysis and Criticism on 'Designing Patterns' in 4th Grade Mathematics)

  • 이 논문에서는 초등학교 4학년 수학과 교육과정에서 제시하는 '무늬 만들기'의 교수학적 변환과 각색의 실제를 비판적으로 검토한다. 무늬 만들기에서의 그 무늬는 일반적으로 벽지무늬가 아니다 그것을 만드는 방식도 벽지무늬를 만드는 방식과 같지 않다. 벽지무늬 만들기가 아니라는 점에서 보면, 새로운 무늬 만들기의 맥락은 '투명 스티커 붙이기'라고 할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이 특정을 전제로 해서 단위조각의 모양, 새로운 무늬 만들기의 방법, 단위조각 이어 붙이기의 규칙에 관해 비판적으로 논의하고 있다 단위조각의 모양은 실질적으로 정사각형이 아니면 안된다. 주어진 단위조각을 사용하여 새로운 무늬를 만들 때, 만드는 방식의 규칙성만 제시할 수 있으면 실제로는 어떤 규칙이라도 무방하다. 주어진 단위조각으로 만드는 새로운 무늬와 벽지무늬 사이의 관계는 분명하지 않지만, 그 둘이 서로 무관하다고 보기 어렵다는 점에서, 무늬 만들기가 '잘못된 초등화(Freudenthal, 1973)'의 한 모습일 수도 있다.

Low Cost Endurance Test-pattern Generation for Multi-level Cell Flash Memory

  • A new endurance test-pattern generation on NAND-flash memory is proposed to improve test cost. We mainly focus on the correlation between the data-pattern and the device error-rate during endurance testing. The novelty is the development of testing method using quasi-random pattern based on device architectures in order to increase the test efficiency during time-consuming endurance testing. It has been proven by the experiments using the commercial 32 nm NAND flash-memory. Using the proposed method, the error-rate increases up to 18.6% compared to that of the conventional method which uses pseudo-random pattern. Endurance testing time using the proposed quasi-random pattern is faster than that of using the conventional pseudo-random pattern since it is possible to reach the target error rate quickly using the proposed one. Accordingly, the proposed method provides more low-cost testing solutions compared to the previous pseudo-random testing patterns.

High-Quality Stereo Depth Map Generation Using Infrared Pattern Projection

  • In this paper, we present a method for obtaining a high-quality 3D depth. The advantages of active pattern projection and passive stereo matching are combined and a system is established. A diffractive optical element (DOE) is developed to project the active pattern. Cross guidance (CG) and auto guidance (AG) are proposed to perform the passive stereo matching in a stereo image in which a DOE pattern is projected. When obtaining the image, the CG emits a DOE pattern periodically and consecutively receives the original and pattern images. In addition, stereo matching is performed using these images. The AG projects the DOE pattern continuously. It conducts cost aggregation, and the image is restored through the process of removing the pattern from the pattern image. The ground truth is generated to estimate the optimal parameter among various stereo matching algorithms. Using the ground truth, the optimal parameter is estimated and the cost computation and aggregation algorithm are selected. The depth is calculated and bad-pixel errors make up 4.45% of the non-occlusion area.

뉴럴-퍼지패턴매칭에 의한 단어인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Word Recognition Using Neural-Fuzzy Pattern Matching)

  • This paper presents the word recognition method using a neural-fuzzy pattern matching, in order to make a proper speech pattern for a spectrum sequence and to improve a recognition rate. In this method, a frequency variation is reduced by generating binary spectrum patterns through associative memory using a neural network, and a time variation is decreased by measuring the simillarity using a fuzzy pattern matching. For this method using binary spectrum patterns and logic algebraic operations to measure the simillarity, memory capacity and computation requirements are far less than those of DTW using a conventional distortion measure. To show the validity of the recognition performance for this method, word recognition experiments are carried out using 28 DDD city names and compared with DTW and a fuzzy pattern matching. The results show that our presented method is more excellent in the recognition performance than the other methods.

  • 동작 패턴 생성이란 로봇이 어떤 동작을 안정하게 수행하기 위해 미리 안정적인 동작 궤적을 계산해 내는 것을 말하며 자세 제어는 미리 생성된 동작 패턴을 이용하여 동작을 수행하는 도중 발생하는 외란을 제거하여 로봇의 자세를 안정 하게 만들어주는 것을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 수치적 방법이나 로봇의 상체 구조를 간략화하여 근사적으로 생성하는 기존의 보행 패턴 방법과는 다르게 범용적으로 사용 가능한 뉴럴네트워크 학습기법을 이용한 로봇의 동작패턴 생성방법에 대하여 연구한다.

  • 제안한 ANIDS(Advanced Network based IDS)는 네트워크 패킷을 수집하여 연관규칙 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 패킷의 연관성을 분석하고, 연관성이 높은 패킷을 이용해 패턴 그래프를 생성한 후, 생성된 패턴 그래프를 이용해 침입인지를 판단하는 네트워크 기반 침입 탐지 시스템이다. ANIDS는 패킷 수집 및 관리하는 PMM(Packet Management Module), 연관성 있는 패킷들만을 이용해 패턴 그래프를 생성하는 PGGM (Pattern Graph Generate Module), 침입을 탐지하는 IDM(Intrusion Detection Module)으로 구성된다. 특히, PGGM은 Apriori 알고리즘을 이용해 $Sup_{min}$보다 큰 연관규칙의 후보 패킷을 찾은 후, 연관규칙의 신뢰도를 측정하여 최소 신뢰도 $Conf_{min}$보다 큰 연관규칙의 패턴 그래프를 생성한다. ANIDS는 패킷간의 연관성을 분석하여 침입인지를 탐지 할 수 있는 패턴 그래프를 사용함으로써, 침입 탐지의 긍정적 결함 오류를 감소시킬 수 있으며, 완벽한 패턴 그래프 패턴이 생성되기 전에, 이미 침입으로 판정된 패턴 그래프 패턴과 비교하여 유사한 패턴 형태를 침입으로 간주하므로 기존의 침입 탐지 시스템에 비해 침입 탐지속도를 감소시키고 침입 탐지율을 증가시킬 수 있다.
