일부 도시 주부들의 수입농산물과 유기농산물에 대한 인식 및 소비실태 조사 (A Study on the Perception and Consumption of Imported and Organic Produce of Urban Housewives)

  • To investigate the perception and consumption of imported and organic produce, a survey was conducted using a questionnaire in Seoul, Taejon and Cheongju from February to March in 1995. The responses of 350 housewives were analyzed. Most of the subjects (96.8%) know an increase of imported produce, and 86.3% thought that imported produce was not safe. Ninety-two percent of the subjects preferred domestic produce to imported produce. The reasons were for the support of domestic farming (36.7%), hazardous chemicals in imported produce (25.0%), good taste (24.1%) and high quality of domestic produce (13.1%). Seventy-eight percent of the subjects had purchased imported produce. The reasons for purchase were cheap price (67.7%), high quality (16.2%), and good taste (5.4%). Imported produce were purchased in the following order ; fruits such as banana, kiwi, orange and grapefruit, seasonings such as garlic and sesame, vegetables such as onion, braken and green onion, and beans and grains such as soybean, red bean, and barley. Most of the subjects (94.3%) had been informed on organic produce. Among these, 45.2% obtained the information by TV or radio. However, son for purchase was low residual chemicals (64.6%). The reasons against purchase were inconvenience of purchase (42.3%), high price (25.4%), and disbelief of low residual chemicals (19.7%). Therefore, domestic produce should be good in quality and taste, and be safe without residual chemicals in order to compete with imported produce with cheap price. Informations on organic and imported produce should be provided to consumers, and the distribution system of organic produce should be improved for consumers convenience.

  • 우리나라는 그 동안 국토를 이용하고 관리함에 있어 생태적 계획에 입각한 지속가능한 보전 및 관리보다는 효율성과 경제성을 중심으로 한 개발지향적 논리에 초점을 맞춤으로써 국토 환경보전에 커다란 기여를 하고 있는 농경지 및 산지면적이 지속적으로 감소하고 있는 추세이다. 지역생태계의 가치에 대한 생태학적 인식이 부족한 가운데 이루어진 일련의 지속적인 개발압력은 자연환경의 자정능력을 초과하는 환경압력으로 작용함에 따라 지역생태계의 건전한 물질순환과 에너지 흐름에 부정적인 결과를 초래하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 물환경 문제해결을 위한 공간단위로서의 유역개념이 아닌 생태계를 평가하고 관리할 수 있는 공간 단위개념으로서 유역을 분석하기 위하여 다양한 경관요소가 혼재하고 있는 낙동강 유역권을 대상으로 경관구성 요소 중 토지이용을 중심으로 공간분석기법을 활용하여 서로 유사한 패턴을 보이는 유형으로 분류하고, 각 유형별 지역에 대한 특징을 분석하였다.

GSIS와 인공신경망의 결합에 의한 토지적합성분석에 관한 연구 (A Study of Land Suitability Analysis by Integrating GSIS with Artificial Neural Networks)

  • 본 연구는 도시토지이용의 적합성분석을 실시하는데 있어 GSIS와 인공신경망의 유기적인 결합을 시도해 보았다. 인공신경망은 학습이라는 과정을 통해 신경망 노드(node)간의 연결강도를 합리적으로 결정할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 이러한 점에서 공간분석에서 요구되는 인자간의 경중률과 신경망의 연결강도는 대체가 가능하리라 판단된다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 두 종류의 신경망을 구성하였다. 1차 신경망은 토지이용별 적합성 분석에 적용했으며, 2차 신경망은 최적의 토지이용패턴을 분석하기 위해 구성하였다 이들 신경망은 C++로 작성된 프로그램에 의해 구현된 최급강하법에 의한 역전파 알고리즘에 의해 학습을 실시하였으며, 활성화 함수는 시그모이드 함수를 사용하였다. 분석결과는 현행 용도지역제에서 주거, 상업, 공업, 녹지에 대한 토지이용 적합도면과 4가지 유형의 토지이용에 대한 대상지역의 최적토지이용패턴을 제시한 도면으로서 Arc/Info의 Grid 형식으로 작성하였다. 또한 토지이용별 적합도면상에 나타난 적합지역과 최적토지이용패턴은 위치적인 면과 공간 구성에 있어 실제의 도시토지이용계획의 이론적인 개념에 매우 합치되는 분포형태를 보였다.

비오톱 연계망 구축을 위한 서식공간 평가 -대구시 수성구를 중심으로- (An Evaluation of Biotope to Develop Its Green Network -in the Case of Susong-Gu in Daegu Metropolitan Area-)

  • The purpose of this research is to evaluate the biotope value in a metropolitan area after constructing the biotope evaluation model to develop biotope networking in the light of ecological landscape planning. In addition this study is to provide a basic frame of constructing the biotope networking system in the future with the evaluation results. The scope of this research is limited to high density residential area including some part of the forest adjacent to urban boundary. The results of the classified biotope in the research area have been turned out to be 24 patterns. According to the result of estimated nature value having the forth grade, three were forests combined with urban natural parks, schools near forests, and grasslands. There is a little place having first grade. We an deduce this fact that we have surveyed biotopes, having the minimum nature value and wider than children's park. As for the result of evaluated the structure, there were the forests of Seong-Dong, Meaho-Dong, and Kumho river, which is the forth grade. As for the evaluation of connection-function, the followings area were evaluated as the third grade-linear biotopes having highly valued and sustainable similarity - Seoul-Pusan Railroad, Dong-Daegu St., Kumho river, river basins. Bum대 park and a botanic park near Suesung lake, As for the evaluated the buffer-function, higly valued production biotopes, existing at a transition belt between he residential density areas, are Sawol-Dong, Meaho-Dong and Kumho river. When each of the indexes was evaluated, the core of the biotop contained most of natural biotopes. Large artificial biotopes were evaluated as an important biotopes, while small artificial biotopes were classified as a dot biotope. The future research on the concrete biotope networking construction, based upon performed evaluation in this research, should be conducted.

환경영향평가대상의 공간적 평가범위 설정에 관한 연구 - 경관생태학적 측면에서 - (An Analysis of the Spatial Range of Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) - Focusing on Landscape Ecological Aspects -)

  • The spatial range of EIA is mainly related to landscape ecological factors such as topography, geology, animals, and plants. Problems were detected involved land, soil, noise, oscillation, the atmosphere, animals, and plants in the natural-environment. First of all, the current EIA lacks explicit spatial ranges and sections in terms of scientific exactitude and objectivity for assessment. Secondly, there are overlapping influence-area problems resulting in cumulative impacts of unit developments that accumulate. Finally, some developments have no regard for ecological and conservational value in relation to determining which effect ecological stability, and which should be regarded as Regional Ecological Resources. Therefore, this study suggests that EIA should be improved in the following manner. First, the standard classification of landscape unit for analysis should be established 10 regulate each spatial range on a wide-landscape scale. Secondly, the impacts resulting from the interaction of overlapping influence-area developments between individual development should be assessed. Third, Minimization of the of the environmental effects is needed by applying the cumulative effects to the influence-area where developments occur in the same time or in a sequence. Fourth, individual characteristics of landscape elements such as roads, rivers, and green networks need to be considered separately in the analysis. Finally, regional ecological habitats should be included in the analysis in order to achieve stable ecosystems.

Strategies for Acceleration of Damaged Area Restoration Project in the Development Restriction Zone

  • The purpose of this study is to derive institutional improvement methods for promoting the Damaged Area Restoration Project in greenbelts. The current status of greenbelts in Gyeonggi-do, where greenbelts are extensively distributed was analyzed, and the relevant laws and regulations were reviewed to suggest measures to promote the restoration project. The area of damaged areas within greenbelts in Gyeonggi-do was 6,121,024 m2, accounting for about 0.52% of the total area of greenbelts, and more than 80% was found to be located in Namyangju (55.49%), Hanam (16.48%), and Siheung (8.68%). Various measures to improve the policy were examined as follows: reducing the minimum size of the restoration project area; adjusting baseline of recognizing range of damaged areas; introducing the right of claim for land sale; allowing long-term unexecuted urban parks to be replaced as alternative sites for parks and green spaces; simplifying administrative procedures; and allowing public participation. All of them are expected to promote the restoration project within greenbelts. In results, when the minimum size of area for the restoration project was reduced from 10,000 m2 into 5,000 m2, 3,000 m2 and 2,000 m2, the ratio of the number of combinable lots to the total number of lots increased from 4.4% to 18.8%, 38.8%, and 55.9% respectively in Namyangju. Morever, when the recognizable ranges of the restoration project were extended to the structures obtaining building permit as of March 30, 2016 and obtaining use approvals before December, 2017, the number of applicable lots increased by 5.1% and 9.2% respectively.

옥상녹화 기술의 특허출원 동향분석 (Analysis of Trends in Patent Applications for Rooftop Greening Techniques)

  • This research aimed to investigate the current trends of rooftop greening techniques of frequent use within and without Korea. It is also expected that this research will help developing new rooftop greening techniques appropriate for Korean environment. Data for this study have been collected from patent applications for rooftop greening techniques; the web sites of the Korean Intellectual Property Office as well as patent offices in Germany and Japan, where active researches on rooftop greening techniques are in progress. 168 applications within a period from the year of 1984 to December of 2004 were examined, among which Japan excelled with its 81 applications followed by Germany(54), Korea(31)and USA(2). In case of Japan, where more patent applications were found than in any other countries, applications for Plant Base(38) excelled others - System(36), Management(4) and Plant(3) in the number of applications. As for Germany, 25 cases were on Plant Base, 25 cases on System, and 4 cases on Plant; in Korea, 15 cases were on Plant Base, 11 cases on System, 3 cases on Plant and 2 cases on Management; in USA, 1 cases were on System and 1 cases on Plant. Overall, the total number of patent applications in three countries reaches 168 cases; among which Plant Base topped in all four countries, followed by 73 cases on System. Applications concerning Plant and Management totalled to 11 and 6 for each. In conclusion, most patents were concentrated on Plant Base and System while researches on Plant and Management still do not get as much attention as they deserve. Research and development of various techniques on Plant must be a precondition for the formation of diverse Bio-tops suitable for the environments of specific areas. Concrete researches on rooftop greening techniques will contribute to the improvement of urban ecosystem by developing more convenient and easily applicable techniques during the time of actual construction.

시계열 분석법을 이용한 도시지역 토지피복형태에 따른 지하수위와 강수량의 상관관계 분석 (A Study of a Correlation Between Groundwater Level and Precipitation Using Statistical Time Series Analysis by Land Cover Types in Urban Areas)

  • 최근 도시화로 인한 토지피복의 변화로 불투수층이 증가함에 따라, 강수의 자연적인 지하수 함양이 방해되어 도시홍수와 같은 재난 문제가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 토지피복의 변화에 따른 강수와 지하수위 간 상관관계를 규명하기 위해 본 연구는 소규모 도심지역인 부산광역시 연제구를 대상으로 교차상관분석(Cross-correlation function, CCF) 및 이동평균분석(Moving average method, MA)을 통해 강수와 지하수위간 지연시간을 산정하였다. 지연시간을 산정하기 위해 자기상관분석, 교차상관분석, 이동평균분석을 수행하였으며 피어슨 상관함수를 목적함수로 설정하여 강수량과 지하수위 간 가장 높은 상관계수를 가지는 시차 값을 지연시간으로 결정하였다. 관측공 반경 250 m 내 토지피복형태와 지형은 토지피복지도와 수치지형도를 이용하여 Arc-GIS를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 토지피복형태가 도심영향이 많은 불투수층으로 이루어진 GW01, GW03, GW05 (Urban: 71-96%)의 경우 지연시간이 길게 나타났으며(CCF: 42-71일, MA: 148-161일) 식생영향이 많은 투수층으로 이루어진 GW04 (Urban: 35%)는 짧은 지연시간(CCF: 4일, MA: 67일)을 보였다. 토지경사도에 따른 지연시간의 차이는 보이지 않았으며 이는 토지피복형태가 강수와 지하수위 간 지연시간에 영향을 강하게 미치는 요소이기 때문에 토지경사도에 따른 영향이 작용하지 못한 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구를 통해 부산 연제구의 토지 이용에 따른 지하수위와 강수량의 지연시간을 규명함으로써 도시 내 강수의 자연적인 지하수 함양을 위한 도시 녹지공간 조성과 수문학적 재난 예방을 위한 관리계획의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

지속가능한 발전을 위한 환경용량의 산정과 토지이용형태 연구 - 수도권지역을 중심으로 - (Sustainable Land Use within a Limit of Environmental Carrying Capacity in Metropolitan Area, Korea)

  • The purpose of this paper is exploring changes in land use pattern when considering environmental carrying capacity. A sustainable development requires a society to define sustainability constraints, environmental carrying capacity. Environmental carrying capacity can be defined as a level of human activity a region can sustain at a desired level of quality of environment. This concept of environmental carrying capacity can be applied to land use to explore sustainable land use pattern. Since land use pattern can affect environment in an important way, exploring sustainable land use pattern within the limit of environmental carrying capacity can suggest useful implications for a sustainable regional management and planning. For this purpose, this paper built the environmental carrying capacity land use model and applied it to the Metropolitan Area, Korea. System dynamics modeling methods was used to build the model. The model developed in this paper consisted of 6sectors; population, housing, industry, land, environment, and traffic sector. The model limits its main focus on the NO2 level as an indicator of quality of environment in Metropolitan Area. Box model was translated into system dynamics model and combined to urban dynamics model to estimate NO2 level, the maximum number of population, industry structure, housing and maximum amount of land use for industrial, housing, and green space that can sustain desirable NO2 level. Metropolitan area was divided into 16 areas and the model was applied to each area. Since NO2 is flowing in and out from each area, model was built to allow this transboundering nature of air pollutants. Based on the model estimation, several policy implications for a sustainable land use pattern was discussed.

대규모 택지개발지구내 신교통시스템 도입효과 분석 (Analysis of New Transit System Effect in Large Scale Land Development Projects)

  • 이 연구는 신도시 및 대규모 택지개발 지구내 신교통 시스템을 도입함으로써 예상되어지는 효과를 분석하고, 이에 대한 적용 가이드라인을 제시한 것이다. 이를 위해 각 신교통 시스템 및 유형별 복합카테고리를 설정하여 지역적 특성을 반영하고자 하였으며, 신교통 시스템 도입이 기존의 대중교통체계 및 간선도로를 대체함으로써 발생되어지는 사회적 편익을 산출하였다. 분석결과, 신교통시스템 도입은 교통혼잡비용 감소, 탄소저감, 각 지자체의 친환경적 정책 입안에 뚜렷하게 기여할 수 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 신교통시스템의 이러한 장점에도 불구하고 이 연구에서는 신교통시스템을 도입하고자 하는 지자체에서는 무엇보다도 지역여건에 부합하는 신교통 시스템 유형을 선별하는 것이 중요함을 강조하고 있다. 특히 지자체의 무분별한 신교통시스템 도입은 대규모 택지개발사업에 의한 분양가 상승으로 이어질 가능성이 매우 높기 때문이다.
