기후변화대응 탄소저감형 도시재생 계획 요소 및 체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Low-carbon Urban Regeneration Planning Elements and System in Climate Change Era.)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '탄소저감형 도시재생' 개념의 정립과 계획 요소 도출, 계획 체계의 구축에 있다. 탄소저감형 도시 재생 계획요소 도출을 위해 '도시재생' 계획요소와 '저탄소도시' 계획요소 간의 상호연관성 분석(Matrix Analysis)과 전문가 집단면접(FGI)을 실시했고, 이를 통해 도출된 요소들을 재구조화시켜 계획 체계를 구축했다. 또한, 도출된 탄소저감형 도시재생 계획 요소 및 체계의 적절성 및 그 효과를 검증하기 위해 심층사례분석을 실시했다. 분석 결과, 탄소저감형 도시재생 계획요소는 총 5개 분야 37개의 요소로 설정되었고 검증단계를 통해 분석해 본 결과, 계획 체계 및 요소들은 선진 사례에서도 매우 핵심적으로 적용되어 있었으며 도시재생 및 탄소저감에 기여하는 효과도 매우 적극적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들은 탄소저감 뿐만 아니라 기후변화의 적응과 완화(억제)의 측면에서도 매우 긍정적으로 작용했다. 재생 측면에 적극적 효과를 보이는 요소들은 주로 공간구조 및 교통, 제도 및 프로그램에 관한 것들이었고 탄소저감 효과가 큰 요소들은 교통, 녹지 및 수자원, 에너지 및 자원 분야에 속해있었다. 또한, 현재와 같은 추세의 기후변화 및 화석에너지 고갈이 계속될수록 도시재생사업에서의 탄소감축은 지속가능한 개발의 '환경적'측면 뿐만 아니라 '경제적'측면에도 매우 중요한 역할을 감당하게 된다는 것을 분석할 수 있었다.

건물 에너지 절약을 위한 저류 옥상 녹화의 온도 저감 효과 (The effect of Temperature Reduction of Green roof for building energy-saving using Rainwater Storage Tank)

  • Despite countries' efforts to reduce carbon emissions, carbon emissions have increased in recent decades along with energy use, of which building energy uses account for a large proportion. Energy savings are essential as a strategy to reduce carbon emissions in existing buildings. The field experiment on the roof of a building located in Seoul was designed to measure the temperature reduction effect of green roof with rainwater storage tank to reduce cooling energy consumption in summer. The results showed that the mean mean surface temperature under the green roof was 14.77 degrees lower than that of the non-green roof from 13:00 P.M. to 15:00 P.M., which would have a great effect on reducing cooling energy. From 01:00 A.M. to 03:00 A.M., the effect was 3.36 degrees, showing that tropical nights could be improved. The temperature reduction effect due to the rainwater storage system increased by 1.45 degrees during the day and decreased by 0.63 degrees at night. The storage system can be strategically utilized to reduce carbon emissions during the week when cooling energy increases significantly.

도시 단지내 환경 인프라 재생 효과 고찰 - 대전시 M 아파트 단지 사례연구 (Effects of Environmental Infrastructure Regeneration in Urban Region - A Case Study of M Apartment Complex in Daejeon)

  • 본 연구는 실제 아파트 단지의 재생이 필요한 환경 인프라를 경제적이고 효율적인 녹색 인프라 기술로 재생하기 위한 계획을 수립하였으며, 단지내 물과 폐기물의 자원 순환 및 재이용을 위해 단지형 도시 중수 생산 기술과 단지형 유기성 폐기물 에너지화 기술, 무막힘 탄성포장 우수 재이용 기술, 도시농장 기술을 현장에 적용한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 도심 중수 생산 기술은 하수, 우수, 지하수를 대상으로 중수를 생산하여 단지내 공공용수로 이용하기 위한 기반 기술이며, 무막힘 탄성포장 우수배수구 기술은 단지 내에서 우수의 재이용율 극대화시키기 위한 기반 기술이다. 유기성 폐기물 에너지화 기술은 단지에서 발생하는 음식폐기물 및 분뇨 등의 유기성 폐기물을 처리하는 과정에서 바이오가스와 비료를 만들어 에너지원으로 활용할 수 있으며, 도시농장은 재생용수, 재생에너지, 재생비료를 활용하여 주거민들의 건강 및 여가공간으로 활용할 수 있는 기반기술이다. 이를 통해 단지 내에서 자원 순환 및 재이용이 가능한 하나의 에코시스템을 구축하였으며, 재생 후 녹색지표결과에서 에너지 부문은 4.23, 물부문은 0.32, 폐기물 부문은 0, 토지이용 부문은 0, 환경부문은 2.12가 상승하는 결과를 가져올 수 있었다.

  • The growth of impermeable layers in the city center due to today's urban development is emerging as a major cause of urban heat island effects as well as recurring inland flood damages. In order to cope with such disasters caused by climatic changes, an artificial ground afforestation system is suggested as a fundamental solution that addresses both water environment and heat environment. For the afforestation system to replace the current disaster prevention facilities, quantitative performance verification through related numerical analysis models and actual survey monitoring is necessary. Therefore, this study seeks to propose the performance predication method for the heat environment of the afforestation system by looking into correlations between measurements by physical vegetation indicators such as LAI and FVC and forecasts from FASST, a vegetation canopy model used by US Corps of Engineers.

Applying the IoT platform and green wave theory to control intelligent traffic lights system for urban areas in Vietnam

  • This paper proposes an intelligent system performing an application with assistance of an Internet of Things (IoT) platform to control a traffic lights system. In our proposed systems, the traffic lights can be remotely controlled through the Internet. Based on IoT platform, the traffic conditions at different intersections of roads are collected and the traffic lights are controlled in a central manner. For the software part, the algorithm is designed based on the green wave theory to maximize the green bandwidth of arterial roads while addressing a challenging issue: the rapid changes of parameters including cycle time, splits, offset, non-fixed vehicles' velocities and traffic flow along arterial roads. The issue typically happens at some areas where the transportation system is not well organized like in Vietnam. For the hardware part, PLC S7-1200 are placed at the intersections for two purposes: to control traffic lights and to collect the parameters and transmit to a host machine at the operation center. For the communication part, the TCP/IP protocol can be done using a Profinet port embedded in the PLC. Some graphical user interface captures are also presented to illustrate the operation of our proposed system.

농촌어메니티 및 도시수요를 고려한 그린투어리즘 잠재력 평가기법 개발 (Development of Green-Tourism Potential Evaluation Method Considering Rural Amenity and Demand of Citizen)

  • The objectives of this study are to develop a green tourism potential evaluation method with rural amenity and demand of citizen. The new index which was named GPD(green tourism potential degree) is designed to propose the green tourism potential of rural areas using spatial analysis of geographic information system and spatial interaction of gravity model. And in order to evaluate the green tourism potential with supply side and demand side, two indices were defined; One is green tourism demand degree(GDD) which is developed to quantify a demand side potential by the analysis of urban population and urbanization index, and the other is green tourism attraction degree(GAD) which is developed to quantify a supply side potential by the analysis of rural amenity values using AHP algorithm, based on opinion of related experts. The developed method was applied to a part of Kyounggi province, Seoul and Incheon. All the study area's GAD, GDD and GPD were assessed and the proposed green tourism potential evaluation method could be used in developing rural development plans and green tourism policies considering spatial interaction with citizen and green tourism resources.

Composition and Utilization of Urban Garden Space Using the Planting System Design Process

  • Background and objective: Urbanization caused a reduction in urban green space and a lack of community spaces. An attempt to solve these problems, urban gardens, have become popular and are currently being implemented in various downtown areas. However, urban gardens have some inadequate aspects from a visual or landscape perspective. The goal of this study was to examine the possibility of an aesthetic and productive garden space by introducing cultivation methods through the planting system design process. Methods: The design process using plants was classified and presented to suggest the importance of the landscape and aesthetic value. An urban garden space was designed according to the perspective of 'production scenery' and 'participation aesthetics'. According to the characteristics of the plant, urban gardens were divided into vertical type (corn, millet, sorghum), climbing type (kidney bean, cucumber, bitter gourd), and runner type (melon, watermelon, peanut). After classifying plants according to the shape of the root, the structure supporting climbing was installed and the crops were cultivated in an upright form with a tunnel. Results: In the designed cultivation, each crop cooperates, without invading each other's space. Compared with the conventional cultivation, there was little difference in production, and management was made more convenient since weed outbreaks were effectively suppressed while runner type crops cover over the land's surface. Since the positions of each crop are clearly distinguished, the aesthetic value is improved by offering a sense of rhythm with a balanced design. Conclusion: The results suggest that the cultivation methods through the plant system design process have aesthetic as well as productive value, and the design using plants, an infinite living resource, could lead to an expansion of the design field. Moreover, it would enable a sustainable symbiosis between industry and environment. There is potential for the design industry to make significant progress through collaboration with agriculture, horticulture, and landscape architecture.

저영향개발기법 적용을 통한 비점오염원 저감 및 비용효율 분석에 관한 실증적 연구 - 울산광역시를 대상으로 - (Analyzing the Efficiency of LID Technique for Urban Non-point Source Management - Focused on City of Ulsan in Korea -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the efficiency of LID technologies for controlling non-point source pollution from urban areas. The recent technical responses to managing water resource and urban areas according to the influence of climate change is an important national policy, along with green growth. Through various reference studies reasonable ways to consider a wholistic plan on urban-eco-friendly river management, the Low Impact Development (LID) as the adequate river management method is being undertaken in foreign countries to technically apply to urban plans. However, the LID is at the initial stage in Korea, with no specific studies implemented. Thus, this study explored whether LID technologies can be efficient measures to control non-point source pollution on the cost side. Ulsan's Namgu and Bukgu have been chosen as case studies that illustrate the efficiency of the LID technologies. On investigation, if LID technologies are designed properly, the efficiency of them is expected to higher than that of sewage treatment plant.

  • Roadside greenery in the city is not only a means of reducing fine dust, but also an indispensable element of the city in various aspects such as improvement of urban thermal environment, noise reduction, ecosystem connectivity, and aesthetics. However, in studies dealing with the effect of reducing fine dust through trees in existing urban spaces, microscopic aspects such as the adsorption effect of plants were dealt with, structural changes such as the width of urban buildings and streets, and the presence or absence of trees, Impact studies that reflect the actual form of In this study, the effect of greenery composition applicable to urban space on PM2.5 was simulated through the microclimate epidemiologic model ENVI-met, and field measurements were performed in parallel to verify the results. In addition, by analyzing the results of fine dust background concentration, wind speed, and leaf area index, the sensitivity to major influencing variables was tested. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the fine dust reduction effect was the highest in the case with a high planting amount, and the reduction effect was the greatest at a low background concentration. Based on this, the cost of planting street green areas and the effect of reducing PM2.5 were compared. The results of this study can contribute as a basis for considering the effect of pedestrian space on air quality when planning and designing street green spaces.

인천시 공개공지의 도심 녹지 기능 개선 방안 (Improvement Devices of Urban Center′s Green Function of the Public Open Space Attached Building in Incheon, Korea)

  • 이 연구는 인천시 공개공지의 조성과 이용실태 그리고 식재 현황을 분석하여 도심 녹지로서 기능을 개선하기 위한 방안제시를 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상지는 1994∼2002년 조성된 대형상업건물 10개소, 교통관련 건물 3개소, 공공기관 건물 2개소의 공개공지였으며, 우리나라와 유사한 공개공지 제도를 운영하고 있는 일본 오사카시와 가와사키시 공개공지의 식재지 구조를 인천시 연구대상지와 비교하였다. 인천시는 아직까지 공개공지를 도심 녹지로 보는 시각이 부족하였고 공개공지는 법적 의무만을 충족시키는 수준에서 조성되고 있었다. 공개공지의 도심녹지 기능 강화를 위해서는 첫째. 공개공지 식재지율을 어린이공원 수준인 40%로 늘려 소공원화 하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 공개공지의 수목 식재기반. 수종선정, 식재방법 등에 대한 사항을 인허가시 녹지관련 부서와 협의할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 셋째. 공개공지의 식재 기준으로 삼고 있는 '대지안의 조경 식재기준'을 현재 보다 상향 조정하여 녹지 질과 녹량을 증진시켜 환경개선 효과를 높일 수 있도록 해야 한다. 넷째. 공개공지를 시민들이 쉽게 알아보고 이용할 수 있는 안내 사인의 설치 의무화가 요구된다. 다섯째, 공개공지가 본래 목적 이외의 다른 용도로 전용되지 못하게 법적 규정을 마련할 필요가 있다.
