T-S 퍼지 모델을 이용한 불확실한 카오스 시스템의 적응동기화 (T-S Fuzzy Model-Based Adaptive Synchronization of Chaotic System with Unknown Parameters)

  • 본 논문은 퍼지 모델을 이용한 불확실한 카오스 시스템의 적응 동기화 기법을 제안한다. 카오스 동기화 시스템은 마스터 시스템과 슬레이브 시스템으로 구성되며 각각의 시스템은 Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) 퍼지 모델을 통해 표현된다. 마스터 시스템은 파라미터가 미리 알려지지 않은 불확실한 모델로 가정되므로 불확실한 파라미터를 추정하기 위해 적응 기법을 적용하여 슬레이브 시스템을 설계한다. 동기화 오차 시스템을 안정화하고 불확실한 파라미터를 추정하는 적응 규칙을 이용한 제어기를 설계하며 Lyapunov 이론을 통해 안정도를 해석한다. 제안된 퍼지 적응 동기화 기법의 효과를 확인하기 위해서 Duffing 시스템과 Lorenz 시스템에 대해 모의 실험을 수행한다.

표준공액구배법과 수정공액구배법을 이용한 2차원 열전도 문제의 역해석 (An Inverse Analysis of Two-Dimensional Heat Conduction Problem Using Regular and Modified Conjugate Gradient Method)

  • A two-dimensional transient inverse heat conduction problem involving the estimation of the unknown location, ($X^*$, $Y^*$), and timewise varying unknown strength, $G({\tau})$, of a line heat source embedded inside a rectangular bar with insulated boundaries has been solved simultaneously. The regular conjugate gradient method, RCGM and the modified conjugate gradient method, MCGM with adjoint equation, are used alternately to estimate the unknown strength $G({\tau})$ of the source term, while the parameter estimation approach is used to estimate the unknown location ($X^*$, $Y^*$) of the line heat source. The alternate use of the regular and the modified conjugate gradient methods alleviates the convergence difficulties encountered at the initial and final times (i.e ${\tau}=0$ and ${\tau}={\tau}_f$), hence stabilizes the computation and fastens the convergence of the solution. In order to examine the effectiveness of this approach under severe test conditions, the unknown strength $G({\tau})$ is chosen in the form of rectangular, triangular and sinusoidal functions.

  • Using a linear loss function, this paper considers the one-sided testing problem for the exponential distribution via the empirical Bayes(EB) approach. Based on right censored data, we propose an EB test for the exponential parameter and obtain its convergence rate and asymptotic optimality, firstly, under the condition that the censoring distribution is known and secondly, that it is unknown.

  • In this paper we propose direct and indirect adaptive controllers for a nonlinear multivariable steam generating unit(200MW). In the direct adaptive scheme the estimation of the controller parameter are achieved from tracking error, while in the indirect approach the unknown parameter of the boiler system is estimated by the Hopfield network-based identifier. The performance of two proposed adaptive controllers is shown through simulations.

  • To obtain aircraft dynamic parameters, various estimation methods such as Maximum Likelihood, Linear Regression are applied. In this paper we adopt the extended Kalman filter(EKF) to estimate the stability and control derivatives in aircraft dynamic models from flight test data. The extended Kalman filter is applied to nonlinear augmented system assuming that unknown parameters are additional states. In this work, the results of the extended Kalman filter are compared with the results of the wind tunnel test using Chang Gong-91 aircraft flight test data.

  • This paper considers the design and analysis of one-step ahead optimal and adaptive controllers, under the restriction that a known constraint on the input amplitude is imposed. It is assumed that the discrete-time single-input, single-output system to be controlled is linear, except for inequality constraints on the input. The objective function to be minimized is an one-step quadratic function, where polynomial weights on the input and output are included. Both the known parameter and unknown parameter (indirect adaptive controller) cases are examined.

  • We develop parametric bootstrap model selection criteria in an example to fit a random sample to either a general normal distribution or a normal distribution with prespecified mean. We apply the bootstrap methods in two ways; one considers the direct substitution of estimated parameter for the unknown parameter, and the other focuses on the bias correction. These bootstrap model selection criteria are compared with AIC. We illustrate that all the selection rules reduce to the one sample t-test, where the cutoff points converge to some certain points as the sample size increases.

Estimation for a bivariate survival model based on exponential distributions with a location parameter

  • A bivariate exponential distribution with a location parameter is proposed as a model for a two-component shared load system with a guarantee time. Some statistical properties of the proposed model are investigated. The maximum likelihood estimators and uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimators of the parameters, mean time to failure, and the reliability function of system are obtained with unknown guarantee time. Simulation studies are given to illustrate the results.

  • A new decentralized adaptive controller design is proposed. In large scale interconnected system with unknown parameters, nonlinearities and bounded disturbances, even though the interconnection is weak, the controller parameter drifts due to the interconnection, so the decentralized adaptive controller comes to be unstable. The proposed new decentralized adaptive controller guarantees exponential convergence of tracking and parameter errors to residual sets which depend on the bound for the local disturbances and interconnections as well as on some arbitrary design parameters.

  • Suppose that we have $k(k \geq 2)$ populations (or systems), say $\pi_1, \cdots, \pi_k$, to be tested. Under the type-II censored testing without replacement we consider the problem of estimating the unknown parameters of interests and the reliability for a given time t for each population. Also we compare the perfomances of the proposed Bayes estimators with another estiamtors under the Jeffrey-type noninformative prior distribution.
