The public SW market is 3 trillion won, which is less than 10% of the total SW market. However, due to the nature of the domestic market, it is an important market with a relatively large impact on small and medium-sized software companies. In this market, government is operating the Public SW Project Demand Forecasting System in order to support the marketing activities of small and medium sized SW companies and establish a fair market order. The current system has limitations such as lack of user convenience, insufficient analysis capability and less business connection. This study was conducted to identify the problems of these systems and to propose a new system for improving the convenience of users and expanding the information utilization of SMEs. To this end, we analyzed the requirements of each stakeholder. We proposed the 2-phased forecasting cycle, the management cycle, and the system life cycle of public SW projects and created a unified identifier (UID) so that the information of those projects can be identified and linked among them. As a result, an integrated reference model of project information management based on system life cycle was developed, which can explain the demand forecasting and project information, and the improved processes was also designed to implement them. Through the result of this study, it is expected that integrated management of public SW projects will be possible.
Development of digital technology, which is individualizing and differentiating the world, makes time and space facilitate multi-layering in the contemporary society. It gives a large influence on the contemporary architecture that inducing the visual and spatial experience. This characteristic generates instant images changing variously and semantics constantly by the function of skin as a filter. Also, the architectural skin integrates or relocates of relationships between the various information and elements appearing in contemporary society in order to escape the customary relationship between internal and external. Furthermore, the inside and outside of the mixture as a collection of sense has been recognized as one image. This image of mixture consists of one unified continuous integration and extend the meaning of a fluid interface not just surface of the building. The skin of the contemporary architecture is very technical, so its meaning and role is expanded as a complex that exchange interaction. This means that the skin itself has functional elements of the integrated multiple skin to assist. Also it can form a multi-layered relationship and act as a wide range of interfaces depending on the perception of the observer. Therefore the multiplicity of the architectural skin indicates the importance as a boundary that generate images of new life through the sensory perception and implicit force. And it shows potential as the intermediary to try to communicate.

Recently, the new software paradigm in information technology (IT) is the component-based development (CBD) technology that has brought as a result of the distributed computing environment (DCE). The CBD has reduced a program developing time and has been designed to make a distributed computing environment easier in the Internet and Intranet environments. These changes of software technology have influence on the geographic information system (GIS) and the CBD technology is highly needed as a point of view of the technique and policy of the geographic information system. In this paper, we designed and implemented an Enterprise Server for the efficient development and management of GIS components. Especially, the Enterprise Server was developed with the Enterprise JavaBeans Specification 1.1 that had been proposed as an industry standard by the Sun Microsystems. The Enterprise Server can allows users to manage the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Design Patterns for the development of GIS components, develop a GIS component container which obeyed the Open Geodata Interoperability Specification (OpenGlS), manage spatial metadata through a spatial XML (eXtensible Markup Language) engine, and implement a TESTBED server for testing and verification of developed GIS components.

This article intends to explore the formation of furniture terms with the name of furniture, furniture materials, tools, and machinery from eight furniture companies manufacturing their own different furniture items. As a result of this study, the terms can be abstracted as four things as follows. First of all, the terminology that the furniture firms is are unified over 80 percent and has no problem on the communication among the companies. Especially office furniture all is using common words because the terms are almost fixed by an administration agreement relating to the Supply Administration. Second, the furniture terms being used at the fields are mixed with Korean, English, and Japanese, and this current state shows more at small businesses than at large businesses Third, the terms of foreign words, almost English, present 48 percent as 156 words among the total 325 terms. Japanese shows 6 percent as 21 terms but it tends to be handed down from mouth to mouth with inaccurate conditions. Finally, the formation of the terms are from the original words or English, from the combination of Korean and foreign words for convenience at the fields, and from being created as Korean newly in considering Korea's special situation.
The air traffic control service in the domestic airports and approach control centers is provided using data from flight plan and a variety of surveillance sensors such as SSR, ADS-B and MLAT, etc. The physical connection methods and data types of the sensors are various, as so using these data directly may cause a lot of cost in development and maintenance of air traffic control equipment. As a method for solving such a problem, we propose a system that can convert the data from the heterogeneous sensors to the unified format which can be processed by the air traffic control devices. In this paper, the analysis results for the physical characteristics and data formats of the typical surveillance sensors are described. Also, the system design and the system implementation result for the multi-sensor interface system to interoperate the sensors are explained in detail.
The main objective of this research was to understand the characteristics of identical color coordination through the analysis of modern female fashion color coordination as they appear in the 'Collections'. Data collection of 2026 was done through review of '$pr\hat{e}t-\grave{a}$-porter Collections' of four cities; Milan, London, New York, Paris. Lastly, statistical analysis of frequency and $X^2$-test and also qualitative interpretation of identical color coordination characteristics were completed. The main findings were; The color coordination of modern women's fashion produces a unified theme, or monochromatic harmony, through the use and coordination of identical colors. The clear contrast of tones portrays a strong image especially in achromatic color coordination, and through the use of texture variation, monochromatic color coordination becomes even more compelling. The tone variation, observed most often in monochromatic color coordination was the black and white contrast, which enhances the simplicity and clarity. Within chromatic color combinations, tone on tone color coordination was achieved by varying brightness. Furthermore, the observation of Faux Camaeu indicates that the coordination of different textures is used often in identical color coordination. While achromatic colors can lead to a hard and rough feeling, it also is compensated through the use of varying textures. In addition, adding variety of textures can add subtle interests to the simplicity of white. Lastly, in all four collections, the chromatic identical color coordination was found more frequently than the achromatic. In Paris, N.Y. & London, the chromatic identical coordination was used more often than chromatic. Milan showed most use of achromatic coordination. The use of the tones showed similar trends in all four collections, with contrasting tone being used most often, followed by similar and identical tones.

The contribution of tensioned concrete between cracks (tension-stiffening) cannot be ignored when analysing deformation of reinforced concrete elements. The tension-stiffening effect is crucial when it comes to adequately estimating the load-deformation response of steel reinforced concrete and the more recently appeared fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforced concrete. This paper presents a unified methodology for numerical modelling of the tension-stiffening effect in steel as well as FRP reinforced flexural members using the concept of equivalent deformation modulus and the smeared crack approach to obtain a modified stress-strain relation of the reinforcement. A closed-form solution for the equivalent secant modulus of deformation of the tensioned reinforcement is proposed for rectangular sections taking the Eurocode 2 curvature prediction technique as the reference. Using equations based on general principles of structural mechanics, the main influencing parameters are obtained. It is found that the ratio between the equivalent stiffness and the initial stiffness basically depends on the product of the modular ratio and reinforcement ratio ($n{\rho}$), the effective-to-total depth ratio (d/h), and the level of loading. The proposed methodology is adequate for numerical modelling of tension-stiffening for different FRP and steel reinforcement, under both service and ultimate conditions. Comparison of the predicted and experimental data obtained by the authors indicates that the proposed methodology is capable to adequately model the tension-stiffening effect in beams reinforced with FRP or steel bars within wide range of loading.
Purpose - The current distribution enterprises have realized the necessity for integrated and specialized images in their stores. From those reasons, visual merchandising has been considered as a powerful means towards brand value judgement as well as maximizing both brand and corporate identity. This research intends to study and discuss the current situations in Korean visual merchandising and its future concept setting. Based on the research findings, this paper tries to propose the basic concept for development strategies of visual merchandising in Korean distribution market. Although the studies on visual merchandising in Korean traditional markets have been continued, visual merchandisers have been distorted by display control centers in real situations. Therefore, this study tries to set both current and future concepts in visual merchandising for further discussions and a new complement formulation. Research design, data, and methodology - This study has investigated previous studies with the way of normative study by comparing, organizing concepts and relating terms on visual merchandising. In order to be an exact research, it seems to be more appropriate to analyze this study with a deductive analysis way rather than inductive as for getting the core of visual merchandising. Besides, this study changed the term 'visual merchandising' into 'VMD', and used it as an unified one. Results - Visual merchandising has an important key in retail planning. With focusing on organizing visual merchandising concepts, it should be adequate for domestic circumstances because there are various visual merchandising concepts with different perspectives. Thus, it is necessary to establish a concept including modern and Korean features through previous studies and data. Visual merchandising can be defined as followings. It enhances the value of shop images from visual aspects and conveys brand concepts effectively. Its task is to plan and manage products sales by combining three merchandising domains such as interior, display, and merchandising. Conclusions - There are some limitations on setting academic concepts in visual merchandising due to its features as to be taken in the field focused studies. More meaningful case studies should be performed as an area of future studies. Therefore, it is necessary to perform an effectiveness analysis on empirical visual merchandising state and present the course of development.
SCM is one of the important key issues in Internet-based business environment. Most of companies related to B2B electronic commerce are making their efforts to innovate their existing business process into new integrated supply chain process. SCM system using XML/EDI provides competitive advantage to them by reshaping the relationship between traditional trading partners. This study intends to suggest a prototype of SCM system using XML/EDI. To implement SCM system, we analyze and design the supply chain process by using Unified Modeling Language, with a firm engaged in Korean automobile industry, which is a first vendor to produce a set of LAMP. The implementation of SCM system using UML shows excellent performance in software reuse, extensibility, and the interoperability with corporate internal information systems.
