In order to obtain a better understanding of L2 learners, transitional knowledges, it is very important and necessary to have a better knowledge of interlanguage. According to Corder, the role of interlanguage in English education holds significance to (1) for language teachers, (2) for language learners themselves, and (3) for language textbook compilers. To me the significance of interlanguage in English education can be described in terms of not only language teachers, learners themselves, textbook writers and compilers but pure linguists, applied linguists, school authorities as well as parents. For language learners themselves a clear understanding of interlanguage results in students being receptive to language input, and the avoidance of mental block, and low levels of foreign language anxiety. Native speakers of English (NSE) reflect not only linguistic features but also psychological, socio-linguistic, and discourse features when engaged in communication activities. This means that L2 learners are introduced to these different features, especially pragmatic features which are different from their mother tongue or L1 when engaged in communication with NSE. Hence the importance of interlanguage pragmatics should be recognized. It is very important that teachers of English should have a better understanding of interlanguage and present L2 learners with their interlanguage features so they can avoid any misunderstandings such features may cause when conversing with NSS. It should also be noted that interlanguage can form the foundation of language acquisition theory and linguistic analysis.
Objectives : The objective of this research is to look deeper into the thoughts of Sajudang in her book on fetal education, Taegyoshin-gi(TGSG), published in the early 19th century Joseon, which focused on her understanding of human development and bodily relationship the mother has with her child with comparison to Korean Medical texts. Methods : The characteristics of TGSG were laid out with comparison to previous texts on fetal education of both China and Korea. After this, they were closely cross-examined with Korean Medical thoughts on human creation, mother-child relationship, and mind-body relationship. Results : Sajudang's thoughts on fetal education as written in TGSG, show a deep understanding of human development and the father and mother's roles in it, expanding the responsibility of fetal education from just the mother to both father and mother. There is also awareness of the importance of the Heart that is at the center of the fetal education process, and of the mother-child relationship through blood. Conclusions : Fetal education as discussed in TGSG expands from previous discourses on the topic, distinguishing itself with thorough understanding of how fetal education works, when it begins, and what the roles of the parents and the community are. This attributes to Sajudang's knowledge that came from both books and her actual experiences.

This research was performed to acquire fundamental data to be used in developing school foodservice monitoring programs by investigating the actual operational conditions and views of dietitians and students' parents on foodservice monitoring. A questionnaire was provided to the parents and the dietitians of 100 school foodservice establishments in Ulsan area for one month (June, 2007). The questionnaires of 51 foodservice establishments from dietitians and parents were collected (response rate 51%). The collected data from the questionnaires were statistically analyzed using the SAS package program. In terms of the study subjects, 98.0% of the school foodservices were direct managed. The knowledge of HACCP of the students' parents included 'know well' (52.6%), 'know a little bit' (8.8%), and 'do not know' (38.6%). 90.2% of the subjects were monitoring school foodservice regularly. The performance rates of school foodservice monitoring by the students' parents were in the order of: inspecting food materials (95.4%), food preparation (92.7%), and cleaning and facilities sanitation (88.1%). Of the students' parent respondents, 64.1% received preliminary monitoring education regularly, in the order of inspecting food materials (70.9%), food preparation (67.5%), and cleaning and facilities sanitation (60.9%); menu planning (45.5%) was the most highly required item for preliminary education. The understanding degree, in terms of the foodservice preliminary education, was 3.10 points, and the effects evaluation scores of the preliminary education by the dietitians was 3.18 points out of 5 points. The evaluation results for both the importance and performance about the foodservice monitoring items, as evaluated by the students' parents, indicating that importance was higher than performance in 7 of the foodservice monitoring items. The highest item for both importance and performance was 'food preparation'. There were no differences between the importance and performance of the foodservice monitoring items, regardless of whether or not the students' parents had preliminary education, suggesting that the preliminary education of the students' parents was not effective so far. In conclusion, in order to maximize the effectiveness of students' parent foodservice monitoring programs, it is necessary that students' parents participate voluntarily and perform foodservice monitoring regularly. Also, the preliminary education should be offered prior to performing monitoring, considering the demands and the characteristic of the students' parents.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of parenthood of mothers of early school-age children, with emphasis on cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of parenthood. Methods: Nineteen mothers whose children were 1st and 2nd grade elementary school children participated in this study. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews. During the interview, mothers were asked to speak freely about their experiences as parents of early-school age children, including parenting beliefs, parenting behaviors, and emotional experiences related to parenting. These interviews were transcribed verbatim and analyzed in a thematic way using MAXQDA. Results: Using qualitative methods, five major themes were emerged: (1) Recognizing the role of parents as a supporter of growth; (2) recognizing parenthood of the present generation that imposes expanded roles to mothers; (3) co-parenting of early school-age children and marital relationship; (4) co-existence of different parenting styles based on specific mother-child interaction situations; (5) experiencing a wide spectrum of emotions including anxiety, guilt, and depression, as well as happiness. Conclusion: This study revealed the unique cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of parenthood experienced by mothers with early school-age children. Results of this study can fill a gap in our understanding of parenthood of mothers when their children entered into the new developmental stage of middle childhood. It is concluded that the early childhood educators felt an internal conflict regarding the current, inappropriate execution of early English education which is lacking a suitable educational plan including goals and practices. Furthermore, the teacher's preference for English also contributed to the internal conflict regarding the belief in early childhood English education. Secondly, the external conflicts included: English teachers with inadequate understanding of comprehensive early childhood development, parents who show excessive interest in early childhood English education without regard to childhood development, the reality that early childhood English education is mostly influenced by the attitudes of the program director without regard for the conflicts experienced by the early childhood teacher, and the politics of the government continuing to ignore the reality that early childhood English education ontinues in practice without being included in the national curriculum.

The chance of education should be offered in order that married nurses themselves might inspire self-conceit and professionalism on clinical nursing. 4. The familiar mood should be created through planning the programs to be accompanied with children as an annual event in hospital. 5. The part-time nurse system should be suggested to utilize. 6. The system of circulation working should be converted into the system of fixing working according to the characteristic of each department. 7. Programs for special activities such as learning foreign languages and computer should be supported positively.
