  • Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) images can be generated by radar which radiates the electromagnetic wave to a target and receives signal reflected from the target. ISAR images can be widely used to target detection and recognition. This paper proposed a method of generation of high resolution ISAR images by synthesizing frequency spectrums of each stepped chirp waveform in one burst and sub-sampling in frequency domain. This process is performed over entire bursts during coherent processing interval. Conventional ISAR image generation method using stepped frequency waveform has a severe problem of short unambiguous range, loading to ghost phenomenon. However, this problem can be resolved by the proposed method. In simulations, we generate high resolution ISAR image of the moving target which is Boeing-737 aircraft model composed of several ideal point scatterers.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between the degree of participation and flow for participants in ground, water, and air leisure sports-based tourism activities. A total of 437 participants' data was employed for the analyses (one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis) using SPSS Win 18.0 program. Main findings are as follows; First, there were differences in clear goals, transformation of time, loss of self-consciousness, challenge-skill balance, autotelic experience, unambiguous feedback, and sense of control out of flow dimensions based on types of leisure sports-based tourism activities. Second, participation period and frequence had positive effects on flow. Specifically, period had an influence on challenge-skill balance. clear goals: frequence had an effect on challenge-skill balance, transformation of time, clear goals, autotelic experience, unambiguous feedback, and sense of control: intensity had an influence on transformation of time and autotelic experience.

  • Temperature-dependent changes in near-infrared (NIR) spectra have been measured for oleic acid, and nonanoic acid in the pure liquid state. Particular attention has been paid to the 5400-4800 cm$\^$-1/ region where a number of combination bands appear. The NIR spectra of oleic acid show that a band at 5303 cm$\^$-1/ increases with temperature while that at 5270 cm/sup-1/ decreases. It ha been found from their second derivative spectra that these spectral changes take place stepwisely with two break points at 30 and 53$\^{C}$, which correspond to the phase transition temperatures oleic acid reported previously. Principle component analysis (PCA) has been carried out for the NIR spectra of oleic acid in the 5400-4800 cm$\^$-1/ region measured over a temperature range of 15-80$\^{C}$. core plots of the first and second principal components (PCs) show that the NIR spectra are classified into three groups; the spectra measured in the temperature range of 15-30$\^{C}$, those in the range of 31-53$\^{C}$, and those in the range of 54-80$\^{C}$. These temperature ranges correspond to those for quasi-smectic liquid crystal, disordered liquid crystal, and isotropic liquid of oleic acid in the pure liquid state. In other words, PCA provides unambiguous evidence for the phase transitions. similar studies have been carried out for petroselinic acid and nonanoic acid in the pure liquid states, but they do not show any evidence for phase transitions.

  • A fiberoptic sensor using a low-coherence SLD as a light source has been studied. The sensor system employing an intrinsic fiber Fabry-Peort interferometer as a sensing tip and a fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer as a processing one, overcomes the ambiguous reading caused by the highly periodic natrue of conventional high-precision interferometric sensors and provides unambiguous identification of the desired phase among several candidates on the transfer function of an interferometric signal. A tentative application to the temperature sensor shows the potential that the fiberoptic sensor has a side-dynamic range of $0-900^{\circ}C$ as well as reasonable resolution higher than $0.1^{\circ}C$ without ambiguity. Due to the inherent property of the optical fiber itself and the intrinsic fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer, the proposed fiberoptic sensor will give obvious benefits when it is applied to harsh environments to monitor some physical parameters such as temperature, strain, pressure and vibration.

  • $^{31}P$ NMR and ESI-MS studies of $Cu^{2+}$ binding to Fenitrothion (FN) were performed by experimentally and theoretically. The calculated $^{31}P$ NMR chemical shifts for FN-$Cu^{2+}$ complexes are in good agreement with experimental chemical shifts in order, and the results present an important information for organophosphorus pesticide metal complexes. ESI-MS and low energy CID MS/MS experiments of FN-$Cu^{2+}$ complexes combined with accurate mass measurements give insight into the metal localization and allow unambiguous identification of fragments and hydrolysis products.

  • We report Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) cycle I observations of L1527, a class 0 object with an infalling envelope and a rotating disk. HCO+ and HCN J=4-3 show strong redshifted absorption against the bright continuum emission associated with the optically thick disk or inner envelope. This redshifted absorption dip is an unambiguous evidence of infall. In addition, these lines and CS J=7-6 present the Keplerian rotation profile at their position-velocity diagrams, suggesting the formation of a Keplerian disk very early in star formation. We will present a model combining an infalling envelope and a Keplerian disk to fit the ALMA observations.

  • The objective of the study is to develop the identification code of the Korean sci-tech journals for KSCI. To achieve the purpose, the study has researched and analyzed a variety of the major international and national serials or information objects identification code systems. And then, KOJIC(KOrean Journal Identification Code) has been developed. KOJIC is unique, unambiguous identifiers for titles of Korean journals in all subject areas. The concepts of KOJIC are simplicity, mnemonics, internationalization, and extensibility of its use. KOJIC is a six-character and alphanumeric code and has one check character.

  • The implementation of multiplexing techniques combined with advances in neutron optics make the neutron three-axis spectrometers (TAS) an efficient tool to map inelastic response from single crystals over momentum transfer ranges comparable to the size of a single Brillouin zone. Thanks to recent progress in polarization techniques such experiments can be combined relatively easily with neutron polarization analysis, which does not only provide unambiguous separation of response corresponding to structural and magnetic degrees of freedom, but permits a quantitative analysis of the magnetic response anisotropy, often of crucial importance to test theoretical predictions. In the forthcoming decade we therefore expect a further development of the complementary use, rather than competition, of the reactor-based TAS's with time-of-flight (TOF) instruments for single crystal spectroscopy at the existing (ISIS) as well as at the newly built (SNS, J-PARK) pulsed sources.

  • Sphingolipid species are important second messengers due to their role in the mitogenesis, differentiation and apoptosis. We developed a new column liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) in combination with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) method for the rapid, simultaneous and quantitative determination of unambiguous detecting sphingolipids in cell culture of human cancer cells (HL-60).
