유비쿼터스 환경에서 개체간의 자율적 협업에 기반한 추천방법 개발 (A Recommendation Procedure based on Intelligent Collaboration between Agents in Ubiquitous Computing Environments)

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 정적 및 동적인 상황 정보의 양이 무한대로 늘어나게 됨에 따라, 추천서비스에 있어서 정보 과부하 문제와 프라이버시 침해 문제가 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 서버와의 교신 없이 고객 중심의 자체적인 정보처리와 고객들간 직접 커뮤니케이션을 통하여, 효율적이고 안전한 정보 획득이 가능하도록 P2P방식의 협업을 통하여 선호도가 유사한 다른 고객들의 상품에 대한 평가정보가 전달되는 추천서비스를 제안하였다. 제안한 추천방식은 협업필터링의 기본 법칙을 따르고 있지만, 현재 센서 네트워크에 접속해 있는 전체 고객를 대상으로 이웃 고객을 탐색하는 방법대신에 목표 고객 주위의 가까운 이웃을 지역적으로 탐색하는 방법을 채택하여 성능의 저하없이 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 실시간 추천이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 적용가능한 프로토타입의 통합 네트워크 시스템의 구현을 통해 실세계 상점에서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술의 활용 가능성을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 실제 모바일 회사의 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통하여 그 특징을 제시함으로써 향후 유비쿼터스 서비스 애플리케이션의 범용적인 추천모델을 제공하고자 한다.

  • Extended life expectancy and a decrease in fertility rates are dramatically increasing the number of seniors who will eventually need professional care assistance. Although there is no clear technical solution to this problem, recent advances in ubiquitous computing offer opportunities to assist elders in their residence, thus reducing the need for professional assistance in special facilities. There have been several studies, but current solutions tend to address specific issues and cannot be easily extended, updated, and customized to meet the complex and evolving requirements of eldercare assistance. This study aims to bridge this gap, and this paper presents a context-management framework, called awareness for pervasive environments (APE), that provides easily customizable support for the development of ubiquitous eldercare services and applications.

  • The business in the Ubiquitous era has to be developed by combing a traditional marketing concept with a new concept system on Chip. The objective of this paper is researching on the attention or interest, understanding, positive effects, etc., for Ubiquitous Computing to realize u-Korea and u-Business. The paper result which is the stepwise developing scheme of u-Business could be useful in the policy, publicity and education, strategic implementation of the Ubiquitous Computing. And the proposed new services for u-Commerce can be applied to new business model of future IT industry. Actually, the awareness and understanding about Ubiquitous are low, But, We can't overemphasize the value of Ubiquitous. First of all, The publicity and education about It's may have to be emphasized.

  • 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 기술은 새로운 컴퓨팅 패러다임인 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 분야로 센서 네트워크를 이용한 상황정보 모니터링 시스템에 적합한 기술이다. 최근 대학들은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 기반으로 하는 유비쿼터스 캠퍼스 환경을 구축하기 위해 힘을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각종 센서를 통해 상황인식을 위한 컨텍스트 정보를 획득하고, 장애학생의 모바일 기기를 통하여 장애유형별 학사 및 안전서비스를 제공할 수 있는 상황인지 모니터링 시스템을 구축한다. 유비쿼터스 센서 시스템을 기반으로 한 u-캠퍼스 기술은 특히 장애인과 비장애인을 위한 맞춤형 정보 제공에 활용될 수 있다.

  • Recent ubiquitous computing environments increasingly impact on our lives using the current technologies of sensor network and ubiquitous services. In this paper, we propose ubiquitous architectural framework for ubiquitous sleep aid service(UbiSAS) in the subset of ubiquitous computing for refreshing of human's sleep. And we examine technical feasibility. Human can recover his health through refreshing sleep from fatigue. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS in digital home offers agreeable sleeping environment and improves recovery from fatigue. So we present new concept of ubiquitous architectural framework dissolving stress. Specially, we apply context to context-aware framework module. This context is transferred to context adaptive inference engine which has service invocation function in intelligent agent module. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS using context adaptive rule inference engine without user intervention is technical issue. That is to say, we should take sleep comfortably during our sleeping. And sensed information during sleeping is changed to context-aware information. This presents significant information in context adaptive rule inference engine for UbiSAS. This information includes all sleeping state during sleeping in context-aware computing technique. So we propose more effective and most suitable ubiquitous architectural framework using context adaptive rule inference engine for refreshing sleep in this paper.

  • Especially, system security is very important in the ubiquitous environment. This paper proposes a protecting scheme for security policies in Firewall and intrusion detection system (IDS). The one-way hash function and the symmetric cryptosystem are used to make the protected rules for Firewalls and IDSs. The proposed scheme could be applied in diverse kind of defense systems which use rules.

  • In this paper, we propose the integrated security management framework supporting the trust for the ubiquitous environments. The proposed framework provides the gathering and analysis of the security related information including the location of mobile device and then dynamically configures the security policy and adopts them. More specially, it supports the authentication and delegation service to support the trusted security management for the ubiquitous networks. This system also provides the visible management tools to give the convenient view for network administrator.

  • Mobile Internet Service has been accelerated in ubiquitous computing environment. The purpose of this study is to suggest the patterns of mobile internet services based upon the current and future environments. The types of mobile internet service are explicated on the basis of current and future usage. A two-dimensional framework using level of timeliness and service purpose is utilized for classifying mobile internet service. Future trends of mobile internet service are carefully suggested.
