Recently, Web-based Survey has attempted to overcome the limitations of Paper-based survey. This method is more effective in costs and time use than traditional methods, also help respondents to understand and interest in the survey. Especially for the elderly, web-based survey is effective survey tool, because audio-visual material could be provied. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of two kinds of methods which were web-based survey and paper-based survey, focused on elderly residents' needs for ubiquitous home service. The participants were older than 60 and divided into 2 groups, web-based survey and paper-based survey, each group was controlled over by age, gender, computer skill. For this study, elderly residents conducted a survey passed through 2 steps, the first was residents' needs for ubiquitous home services, the second was an evaluation of survey methods. Finding were as follows : first, there was no difference between the two groups in needs for ubiquitous home service, so survey itself can not make a difference in survey results. Second, respondents of web-based survey were more interested in and felt easier about method that they conducted than ones of paper-based survey. Finally, Web-based survey will be more effective method to be figure out the need of the elderly who are familiar with computer.

이 연구의 목적은 u-Learning 시대에 교육의 변화를 주도할 수 있는 교원양성체제의 모형을 제시하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 첫째, 현재의 교원양성체제를 고찰하였다. 둘째, 교원양성체제에 활용될 수 있는 유비쿼터스 기술을 분석하였다. 셋째, 기술 분석을 토대로 교원양성체제 구성요소 간 커뮤니케이션을 지원하는 유비쿼터스 기능을 탐색하였다. 마지막으로 u-Learning 시대의 교원양성 체제에 대한 예비교사들의 인식, 필요성, 요구사항 등을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구를 토대로 u-Learning 시대에 적합한 교원양성체제의 모형을 제시하였다. 이 연구에서 제시하는 교원양성체제 모형은 u-Learning 시대를 주도할 교사 양성에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

In the modern society, the definition of life style has a special meaning. Because of the publicity of social Life, the compound numbers of behavior context and the diversify of Authority these days, the choosing life style is important for the self identity and the life activities. To erect the thesis of metaphoric process and meaning effect by stages, it will be studied and analyzed. Furthermore, studies about contrast, ambiguity, illusion, the element for meaning effect by stages, will be done. The Ubiquitous age Is a organic period for human, space and objects to interact to each other. This relationship can not be alternated by technology. Instead the technology can be a premise and because of the human being's new faculty of sensation, this age request emotional and interactive space design. In this modern life, the study of emotional and sensuous experience and metaphoric process can not be overlooked and should be researched more thoroughly to complete the theory of the new space design.

유비쿼터스 사회(Ubiquitous Society)의 핵심기술인 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)를 물류, 유통, 교통, 의료 등 다양한 분야에서 개발, 적용하는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. RFID를 이용하여 u-Campus, u-Library 등 유비쿼터스 교육환경을 마련해주는 연구들은 있으나 직접적으로 학습에 적용한 연구는 아직 미미한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 RFID 태그와 리더의 무선통신 기술을 이용하여 학습자의 위치와 상황을 인지하고 그에 부합하는 영어 상황학습 서비스를 제공하고자 한다. RFID 시스템을 이용하기 위해 본 연구에서 제안하는 RFID 미들웨어는 기존의 범용 RFID 미들웨어와 달리 PDA 기반에서 동작하는 모바일 RFID 미들웨어로 필수 API를 중심으로 최적화하여 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 개인화와 이동성을 결합하여 제공될 수 있는 유비쿼터스 위치 기반 서비스 기반의 u-마케팅 시스템 프로토타입을 개발하였다. u-마케팅 시스템은 기존 모바일 마케팅 시스템을 보다 더 효율적으로 지원하는 u-LBS 기반 기술을 활용한 u-마케팅 콜센터이다. 지금까지의 모바일 마케팅이 불특정 다수의 고객에게 일방적으로 홍보 내용을 전달하는 스팸 방식에 마케팅이었다면, u-마케팅 시스템은 u-LBS 기반 기술을 활용하여 이동통신사 가입 회원의 성별, 연령, 거주지, 직업과 그리고 휴대폰의 위치정보나 GPS를 통하여 가입자의 위치정보를 활용함으로써 회원사가 원하는 맞춤형 타겟 마케팅을 지원할 수 있는 위치기반의 유비쿼터스 마케팅 시스템이다.

유비쿼터스 시대가 시작되면서 유비쿼터스 환경을 어떻게 제시할 것인지와 어떤 서비스와 이용 방법을 사용자에게 제공할 것인지가 중요해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 지능형 멀티 에이전트를 통해 사용자에게 도움되는 정보를 능동적으로 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 프로파일 모듀르 규칙 생성 모듈, 필터링 모듈, 서비스 모듈 구조로 구성된다. 추천 에이전트를 이용하여 미리 등록한 사용자의 정보를 기반으로 지능적인 사용자의 요구 파악을 가능하게 구성하였다. 이것을 응용하여 구현하고 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

빠르게 변화하는 유비쿼터스 시대에서의 센서 네트워크는 필요한 모든 사물에 전자태그(RFID)를 부착하고 이를 통해 사물의 인식 정보를 기본으로 주변의 환경정보를 탐지하여 실시간으로 정보를 축적하고 이용하는 기술로서 U-보건의료 행정서비스 구축 모델에 대하여 논문을 작성하였다. 종종 발생하는 영유아 예방접종의 부작용과 AIDS등 전염성 보균자에 대한 철저한 관리가 어려운 점을 착안하여 RFID칩을 활용하여 보다 더 나은 보건의료 행정서비스를 구축하는 데 목적으로 하였다.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술이 발전함에 따라서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술을 이용한 다양한 서비스들이 개발되고 있고, 일부 u-서비스들은 상용화되고 있다. 이와 더불어 u-서비스의 비즈니스 모델에 대한 연구의 중요성 또한 커지고 있다. 하지만 비즈니스 모델에 대한 명확한 정의가 없고, 작성되는 비즈니스 모델의 방법론이 통일되지 않는 등 u-서비스에 대한 구조적인 비즈니스 모델을 작성하는 구조적인 방법론이 아직 거의 존재하지 않는다. 더욱이 현재 개발된 비즈니스 모델 작성 및 분석 방법론은 기존 전통적인 서비스나 e-service를 대상으로 작성된 반면 u-service의 특성에 대한 고려가 되고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 모델 개념의 정의와 비즈니스 모델의 설계, 분석에 이르는 비즈니스 모델에 대한 통합 방법론을 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 u-서비스에 맞는 모델 컴포넌트를 포함한 비즈니스 모델링 다이어그램(BMD)라고 하는 도구를 제안하였다.

The knowledge based economy requires more and more people to learn new knowledge and skills in a timely and effective manner. These needs and new technology such as computer and Internet are fueling a transition in e-learning. According to specialist's opinion, imagination experience studying is generalized, and learning environment that language barrier by studying, multi-language studying Machine that experience past things that disappear through simulation, and travel area, and experience future changed state disappears is forecasting to come. This is previewing finally that it may become future education that education and IT, element of entertainment is combined. Already, became story that argument for party satellite of e-Learning existence passes one season already. e-Learning is utilized already in all educations that we touch by effectiveness by corporation's competitive power improvement and implement of lifelong education in educational institutions through present e-Learning. It is obvious that when see from our viewpoint which is defining e-Learning by one industry and rear by application to education as well as one new growth power about these, e-Learning industry becomes very important means that can solve dilemma of growth real form. Only, special quality of digital industry that e-Learning is being same with other digital industry and repeat putting out a fire rapidly, and is repeating sudden change that these evolution is not gradual growth of accumulation and improvement of technology that is appearing consider need to. In the meantime, we need to observe about evolution of Information Technology. Because there is some scholars who e-Learning's concept foresees to evolve by u-Learning.(although, a person who see that these concept is not more in marketing terminology by some scholars' opinion is). This u-Learning's concept means e-Learning that take advantage of ubiquitous technology as Ubiquitous-Learning's curtailment speech. Ubiquitous, user means Information-Communication surrounding that can connect to network freely regardless of place without feeling network or computer. There is controversy about introduction time regarding these direction, but e-Learning is judged to evolve by u-Learning necessarily. Because keep in step and age that study all contents that learner wants under environment of 3A (any time, any whrer, any device) by individual order thoroughly is foreseen to come in ubiquitous learning environment that approach more festinately.
