In the age of ubiquitous computing, computer systems will be seamlessly integrated into our everyday life, providing services and information to us in an anywhere, anytime fashion. This ubiquitous computing can be used for developing a ubiquitous learning (U-learning). In this paper, we present a framework for U-school in which ubiquitous computing technologies are applied to advance the existing ERSS (Korea's Educational Resources Sharing System). Our framework applies mobile, sensor, and context-aware technologies to the existing ERSS. This framework presents a user-centric learning environment, using user-centric scenario. The U-school with context-aware services therefore can lead to the just-in-time learning or learner-led learning based on dynamic contexts acquired from learners, teachers and computing entities.

Recently, owing to miniaturization of computer and popularization of internet, ubiquitous computing is attracting considerable attention. In ubiquitous environment, user can receive desired information service anywhere, any time. With the advent of ubiquitous age through popularization of internet, it becomes important how to provide user with ubiquitous environment, and what and how to provide to user. In this paper, method to automatically select device most suitable for user in ubiquitous environment is offered. search agents search peripherals, make a list by function, and transmit to serve. Serve learn the transmitted information through intelligent system. If user input information in the form of linguistic according to the list, serve select device suitable for work environment, and compose the system through IP address. This was realize through practical example, experimented and confirmed.

The development technology is not brought out the change of life style but space. Recently, a digital divide has gotten worse in the information age. So LG Sangnam library developed the ubiquitous library for the improvement of information accessability of the blind. It utilizes a mobile phone applied with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology and automates a user's identification process and serve library services at anytime from anywhere. Users can use three access points of a web service, a mobile service and a telephone library service. As a conclusion of this paper. Several recommendations were proposed. For the development of ubiquitous library, various instruments should be considered to diversify user's access points and a usability test and analysis about user's environmental context should be done simultaneously.

The GIS has grown in its quantity as local authorities established the urban information system for better city administration, civilian services and decision-making support services. Recently, local authorities have expressed much interest on the introduction of ubiquitous technology to improve citizens' safety and convenience. This has become the drive behind the construction of ubiquitous city(u-City). Construction of a u-City requires the multitude of information and telecommunication networks and digital contents; the existing information resources need to be put to use in entirety for that end. In that regard, the integration of GIS established and currently operated by local authorities needs to be strategically promoted. This study intends to propose GIS integration strategies in various aspects for the future u-City and directions for the development of urban information systems in the coming of the Ubiquitous Age.

Ubiquitous computing is a vogue word, and its service is very popular in Korea. However, present ubiquitous service(u-Service) is thought to be more oriented to the provider's point of view, not the consumer's. To complement this problem, an online survey was performed for internet users, which consists of 24 single choice questions on six fields such as transportation, healthcare, environment/city-management, culture/education, administration, and industry. 2463 people joined the survey, who were grouped according to their age, resident region, level of education, and sex. Each group's demand for specific field of u-Service was examined. General level of demand was higher in case of the elderly and male than the younger and female for overall u-Service.

Last February, $\ulcorner$The Act on Ubiquitous City Construction and etc.$\lrcorner$ was approved by the National Assembly. The law stipulates the regulations on the planning, construction and management of the Ubiquitous City. As its national-level law system is about to take its effects, future new city developments are expected to have its legal basis to be built to meet ubiquitous city requirements. Also, it is anticipated that such needs would require much more planning techniques and strategies. In reaction to those upcoming needs, this study is to search for new planning approaches to realize the u-City in reality. It is also to supply with the framework to execute the u-City projects in more structuralize and systemize manner. Therefore, with the purpose of the establishment of comprehensive planning system, the theoretical bases were sought in relation to planning u-City, pre-existing u-City development cases and regarding regulations were analyzed, and then basic concepts, features, and constituent factors were set up.

This study conducted both a content analysis and Q-methods analysis in order to find media coverage and recognition type of users about ubiquitous environment in digital online age. The perception type of this study were divided into four types in all through Q-methodology. Above all, this study investigated three research problems. First, how is the type of the perception divided into the subjectivity by recognition-characteristic on ubiquitous environment in Korea? Second, what is a trait of character in these same or different types? Third, how did news media cover ubiquitous phenomena overall? Fourth, is there any difference between media coverage and audiences' perception about ubiquitous phenomena? The results show that audiences seem to generally follow the frames that mass media provide. In addition, however, the audiences tend to recognize ubiquitous environment based upon their own schema as following four types: 1. Positive Universality Leading Type, 2. Uncertain Prudence Preference Type, 3. Future Cultural Enjoyment Type, 4. Negative Effect View Type. This study suggests that every efforts such as technology and policies that can improve the quality of ubiquitous environment in Korea should be accompanied.
