An Analysis of Change in the Employment Structure Data Caused by the Industrial Revolution (산업혁명에 따른 고용구조 변화 데이터 분석)

  • It is anticipated that the employment structure of the whole industry will change drastically as the Fourth Industrial Revolution era arrives. Particularly, there are numerous reseraches that the development of artifical intelligence will promote automation causing jobs in manufacturing industry to decrease; thus, the economy will be reorganized with service-centered jobs, which heavily depend on human ability. This study was conducted to verify the trend-forecasting model based on the theoretical analysis. We analyzed the change in employment structure over the past decades in each country and period to gain insights from the changes in the employment structure caused by the Fourth Industrial Revoltion. The results of this study are as follows: First, we investigaed whether the current economy is moving along the U-shaped model suggested by an existing researcher. As a result of the analysis, the data substantiated that the change of the employment structure is moving along the U-shaped model. It is also suggested that this U-shaped trend is expected to accelerate in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In the future, more accurate data analyses are needed to verify the model, and additional researches on the change in the employment structed is also needed.

Developing a Framework of Semantic Web Services for Integrated Management Center of U-City (U-City 도시통합운영센터를 위한 시맨틱 웹 서비스 프레임워크의 개발)

  • As adopting ubiquitous technology into civil engineering, new city model is suggested called U-City. This paper proposes the framework of U-City management center to support effective services operation. The aims of the framework are to provide the development and operation environment for U-City services. Basically, these objectives are achieved by adopting the semantic web service technology to the framework. In this paper, OWL-S is mainly conducted to represent the description of U-City services. In addition, this paper insists that fine grained unit services are required to guarantee reusability, compatibility, and scalability of the services on U-City management center. The documentations conducted by OWL-S are provided as an example of service descriptions. At the last section, this paper also presents the architecture of U-City management center which enables automatic service discovery, selection, composition and interoperation.

Short-term Power Load Forecasting using Time Pattern for u-City Application (u-City응용에서의 시간 패턴을 이용한 단기 전력 부하 예측)

  • Developing u-Public facilities for application u-City is to combine both the state-of-the art of the construction and ubiquitous computing and must be flexibly comprised of the facilities for the basic service of the building such as air conditioning, heating, lighting and electric equipments to materialize a new format of spatial planning and the public facilities inside or outside. Accordingly, in this paper we suggested the time pattern system for predicting the most basic power system loads for the basic service. To application the tim e pattern we applied SOM algorithm and k-means method and then clustered the data each weekday and each time respectively. The performance evaluation results of suggestion system showed that the forecasting system better the ARIMA model than the exponential smoothing method. It has been assumed that the plan for power supply depending on demand and system operation could be performed efficiently by means of using such power load forecasting.

  • With mobile computing, wireless sensor network and sensor technologies, ubiquitous computing services are being realized and could satisfy the feasibility of ubiquitous healthcare to everyone. This u-Healthcare service can improve life quality of human since medical service can be provided to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. To confirm the vision of u-Healthcare service, we've implemented a healthcare system for heart disease patient which is composed of two components. Front-end collects various signals such as temperature, blood pressure, SpO2, and electrocardiogram, etc. As a backend, medical information server accumulates sensing data and performs back-end processing. To simply transfer these sensing values to a medical team may be too trivial. So, we've designed a model based on context awareness for more improved medical service which is based on artificial neural network. Through rigid experiments, we could confirm that the proposed system can provide improved medical service.

  • A Social Network Service(SNS) is the best attracting internet business model and serviced in the several countries. The Facebook is the most popular SNS in a foreign country and the Cyworld is most popular one in Korea. In this paper, after investing and analyzing the existing Social Network Services, I present a new OpenU Social Network Service based on Web 2.0 concepts. This is a next generation internet platform which can be communicated with real-time chatting and share d data and talked during seeing data by collaboration functions OpenU's main characteristics and functions by screen design and implementations are explained. And also OpenU's excellence by comparing with other SNSs system is presented.

  • 최근 유가의 상승은 공간이동의 비용을 매우 크게하여 경제성장을 약화시키고 있다. 이러한 시기에 본 논문은 시간적/공간적 제약을 극복하고 효율적으로 작업할 수 있는 서비스 모델을 제안한다. 인터넷 및 IT인프라의 발전은 사람들이 시간과 공간의 제약없이 언제, 어디에서나 누구와도 작업할 수 있도록 가능하게 할 것이다. 정해진 시간이 아니라 자기가 일하고 싶은 시간에 가상의 일터에서 가상의 조직을 이용하여 전 세계 어디에 있는 누구와도 같이 일을 할 수 있는 공간이 만들어지는 것이다. 이렇게 일하는 방식을 u-Work이라하며 u-Work서비스가 가능하게 해 준다. 본 논문은 u-Work의 유형을 재택근무, 이동원격근무, u-Work센터근무로 분류하고, 공공기관 u-Work서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 또한, 제안한 공공기관 u-Work서비스 모델의 구축방안을 시설인프라 측면, IT인프라 측면, 운용인프라 측면으로 나누어 기술한다. 구축된 u-Work서비스는 전 세계의 전문인력을 활용할 수도 있으며, 사회적 약자의 생산활동 참여 기회를 높이는 등 유연한 노동시장을 만들어 줄 것이다.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시대의 도래로 방대한 센서와 네트워크를 통한 보다 편리한 응용 서비스들이 개발되고 있다 이미지 센서 등은 센서 자체의 패턴을 이용하여 보다 다양한 서비스 제공이 가능하다는 장정을 이용하여 본 논문에서는 이미지 센서와 이의 패턴을 이용한 증강현실 서비스를 제공하는 어플리케이션을 제안한다. U-카탈로그 서비스는 이미지센서를 통하여 상품에 대한 동영상 정보를 받아볼 수 있고, 이미지 센서 위에 바로 해당 상품의 30 객체를 올려서 사용자는 원하는 각도와 방향에서 실제로 상품을 눈앞에 놀고 보는 것과 같은 실감 있는 서비스를 받을 수 있다.

An Assessment and Policy Implication of Information Technology Convergence Programs in Korean Public Service Area (공공부문 IT신기술 적용사업의 추진현황 평가와 정책적 시사점)

  • Information technology is a useful strategic weapon that can create competitive advantage and new business opportunity by applying it in the organization' value chain. IT convergence can be understood as an attempt of industrial level IT adoption to facilitate the innovation of the industry and the birth of a new industry. This study provides the comprehensive review of the Korean government' three IT assimilation programs, ubiquitous technology diffusion program of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, u-service program of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and u-Defence cooperation program of the Department of Defense. The analysis is done through the interpretation of the existing literature and the logic model. The result proposes inter-agency cooperation and building of new technology road-map in the planning stage, flexible management in the execution phase, and failure tolerant evaluation system. The proposal for developing competencies and institutional foundations for IT convergence also presented.

  • IPTV functions not only as media player that does play the broadcasting industry's contents, also as the gateway is guaranteed of QoS(Quality of Service). This is for free contents-sharing that device stores contents using home network circumstance, and is for watching with seamless network service. Also this have required next QoS model that can handle stably as it may contain more data of the small computing device in next generation home system. We need ubiquitous-oriented QoS's design and development project that focuses on internal and external media service, not the existing QoS nor one-sided QoS of media sevice industry. This paper focuses on network module development. This supports IPTV in media industry and two-way capability of QoS highlighting multimedia service in network industry. In additional, this can handle stably the multiplex signal of USN/RFID as the representative ubiquitous and home network that services high-speed wire and wireless interface, and support the seamless u-QoS.

  • By the developing of Internet. the environments of the company have rapidly been changed. Especially. managers in the Internet shoppingmall have been try to provide excellent e-Services to their customers. e-Service i~ defined comprised of all interactive services that are delivered on the Internet uSing advanced telecommunications. information, and multimedia technologies. but according to study of e-Satisfy. com[2000]. customer service through internet is still neither effective nor efficient and poor service will impact on company's profit but excellent service can improve their value and quality of the service or product. In order to customer-oriented e-Services. this study suggested the QFD linked with e-Service quality model for the Internet shoppingmall service system. which can help determine design characteristics being relevant to customer's e-Service quality requirements. this hybrid model have two stages. In the first stage. we do measure service quality and find priorities of service quality attribute by purchase process. and in the second stage. on the basis of priority of e-Service quality attributes, we find design characteristics to maximize customer satisfaction. From this study, we provide internet shoppingmall managers with the implications for improvement of service quality, measuring quality of e-service, providing design characteristics for customer-oriented service quality.
