Western missionary nurses practiced in Korea from 1891. and the first trial to begin missionary public health nursing service in 1909 could not put into practice for short of nursing staff and budget. The main focus of missionary medical practice was not in public health program but in the management of missionary hospitals. A few of missionary western R.N. tried district nursing in 1910s. but their activities were personal and focused on the rescue of poor and sick patients. In 1917 the North American Methodist Church dispatched R.N. Elizabeth S. Roberts to begin district nursing in Korea. Roberts began maternal and child district nursing service. Her service was focused on teaching the method of bringing up children. bathing service, and home visiting for delivery. She could not but stop district-nursing service in 1918 to serve for a hospital in Siberia. The North American Methodist Church dispatched a few of R.N. to Korea in early 1920s and the missionary public health nursing of Korea could be activated. R.N. E. T. Rosenberger began public health nursing program in Seoul with Korean graduate nurse, Shin-gwang Han, and missionary M.D. Hall. Their public health nursing program was focused on maternal and childcare. They did home visiting in the morning, and served at a well baby clinic in the afternoon. The first baby competition began in 1925. and contributed to the teaching the method of bringing up children. They expanded public health nursing activity to school health nursing and milk station. Their public health nursing program was such a success that In 1929 Severance hospital. Eastgate Hospital. Taehwa Social Evangelistic center organized Seoul Child Health Union. Maren P. Bording, another missionary R.N. and midwife dispatched by the North American Methodist Church began public health nursing program at Kongjoo in 1924. Her program was focused on the maternal and childcare and close to that of Seoul. She started the first milk station in Korea in 1926. As she was a midwife and could get M. D. license in Korea, her program was more focused on maternal care than that of Seoul. The first day nursery school in Korea and the first graduate course for public health nursing in Korea began at Kongjoo in 1930. As the city of Choongcheongnam Province moved from Kongjoo to Daejeon in 1932, missionary public health nursing service in Kongjoo extended to Daejeon. There were lots of public health nursing program in Korea in 1920s and 1930s by missionary western nurses and Korean nurses. There were 13 missionary public health-nursing center in Korea in 1932. But in the late 1930s. Japan extended colonial war and drove out western missionaries. The missionary service in Korea was daunted. and the missionary public health nursing service could not but shrink.

필지단위 재해발생 가능성을 적절한 대응방안과 함께 재배농가에게 농장 맞춤형으로 전달할 수 있는 '농업기상재해 조기경보 시스템'의 실용성과 운영 효율성을 높이기 위하여 현업 서비스 시스템을 국립농업과학원에 구축하여 2014년도 10월부터 2015년 3월까지의 시범 서비스 운영기간 동안 현장 적용을 위한 개선, 서비스 안정화 단계를 거쳤다. 현업 서비스 시스템은 섬진강 하류 유역(행정구역상 광양시 일부, 하동군 일부, 구례군 일부)의 약 470 자원농가와 950 여필지를 서비스 대상으로 하였다. 자원농가에게 필지 단위 사전경보를 개별 문자로 통보하는 시스템과 해당 지자체가 관내 현황을 시각적으로 파악할 수 있는 분포형 사전 경보시스템(웹 GIS 기반) 형식의 투 트랙(Two track) 시스템으로 구성되었다. 1차 연구대상지역인 섬진강 하류에 대하여 현업 서비스는 2015년 3월 2일부터 개별 문자통보를 개시하였으며 온라인 홈페이지는 2015년 4월부터 인터넷 주소(http://www.agmet.kr)로 운영을 시작하였다. 현재는 농장 날씨정보, 농장 재해정보, 전국기상위험, 전국기상특보, 문자서비스를 제공하고 있으며 연구가 진행되는 2017년까지 서비스 대상지역 확대, 서비스 컨텐츠 확대, 서비스 품질 개선 등의 연구활동과 함께 지속적으로 유지될 것이다.

미래창조과학부는 우리나라 최고의 ICT 제품과 서비스를 활용하여 평창동계올림픽을 성공적으로 지원하고, 향후 주요 경기개최국과 해외시장에 수출전략을 품목화하여 올림픽의 부가가치를 창출함으로써 돈버는 올림픽을 완성하겠다는 계획하에 5G, IoT, UHD, VR, AI 5개 분야에 대한 시범서비스를 준비하고 있다. 한국전자통신연구원은 UHD급 초고화질 영상과 100도 이상의 시야각을 이용하여 현장감을 극대화하는 UWV(Ultra Wide Vision) 기술을 개발하고 있으며, 평창동계올림픽 기간 동안 UWV 상영관을 운영하여 기존의 TV나 영화와 차별화된 몰입감을 제공하는 초실감 미디어 서비스를 제공하고자 한다. 또한 방송서비스로의 적용가능성을 타진하기 위한 주요 올림픽 경기실황중계 시범서비스를 추진하고 있다.

Korea Electric Power Research Institute has being carried out an IEC 61580 communication service test on IED trial products developed related to power IT project "The verification of Performance of the Substation Automation System and Its Field Test". This paper describes control testing, one of the IEC 61850 conformance testing items, which consists of DO, enhanced DO, SBO and enhanced SBO with a number of test cases.

In this paper we studied the control of overload which could bring the degradation of performance and threaten the stability of the electronic switching system. In order to get the essential requirement for overload control algorithm, we tried to extract the characteristics of commonly used algorithms by means of simulating overload control alogrithms in numerical stored program control switching model. As the result, we could find that the overload control algorithm which monitored the CPU occupancy had the best call complete rate and good response characteristecs and the algorithm using the offered load as a system state variable had a good grade of service which was represented by a short dial tone delay and 3rd quartile of deal tone delay. however, these control algorithms have no generality and need to get the control parameters by the trial-and-error method. We suggested the guidelines on the design of the overload control algorithm.

Identification of damage of structures has recently received considerable attention in the light of maintenance and safety assessment under service loads. In buildings, the current techniques of safety assessment largely depend on partial experiments such as visual inspection, destructive and nondestructive tests which lead to overconsumption of time and cost as well as higher labor intensity. Therefore, a new trial for safety assessment is urgently needed today. In this respect, the vibration characteristics of buildings have been applied steadily to obtain a damage index of the whole building, but it cannot be established as a practical method until now. This study is aimed at investigating the application of damage identification methods using vibration characteristics of building. Numerical tests are performed on a apartment building. From the test results, it is observed that severity and location of damage can be estimated with a relatively small error by using natural frequency and mode shape data.

A web-based platform for nonlinear earthquake analysis on SDOF systems has been developed in the research. The proposed web-based platform is a 2-tier system composed of client and server sides. Smart Client is applied for the client side to improve the handling speed and UI compatible to the stand alone systems. For the server side, MSSQL is used as a storage for the web. XML WebService is adpoted for the networking between client and server. To examine the efficiency of the developed web-based platform, a trial study on a SDOF nonlinear structural system under earthquake excitation has been carried out.

In this paper, as the step to assess and enhance the reliability of Korean Tilting Train eXpress (T.T.X), Door system is selected and reliability analysis is carried out. The door system is classified into subsystems and functional block diagrams and reliability block diagrams are drawn.Expessions for evaluating the reliability are derived and Mean Kilometer between Service Failure is calculated using the trial track test results. The calculation result show reliability growth of proposed system. This paper developed RAMS to make a door system of T.T.X. (Tilting Train eXpress) with maximum operation speed of 180 km/h.

This paper presents reporting services of IEC 61850-8-1 and related UCA Test procedures, reporting test items are widely divided into unbuffered report and buffered report and this paper is dealing with unbuffered report.
