Camel milk has a significant and pivotal role in the diet of people residing in semi-arid and arid regions. Ever since ancient times, marketing of camel milk has remained insignificant due to nonexistence of processing amenities in the camel nurturing areas, hence the utilization of unprocessed camel milk has continuously remained limited at family level by the nomads. Due to the superior medicinal values and health promoting effects, incredible growth in the demand of camel milk and dairy products have been noticed all over the world during last two decades. Such emergence has led dairy industry to provide diversified camel dairy products to the consumers with superior nutritional and functional qualities. In contrast to bovine, very few food products derived from camel milk are available in the present market. With the advancements in food processing interventions, a wide range of dairy and non-dairy products could be obtained from camel milk, including milk powder, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and even chocolate. In some regions, camel milk is used for traditional dishes such as fermented milk, camel milk tea, or as a base for soups and stews. Current review highlights the processing opportunities regarding the transformation of camel milk into various dairy products via decreasing the inherent functionality that could be achieved by optimization of processing conditions and alteration of chemical composition by using fortification method. Additionally, future research directions could be devised to improve the product quality.
Logarithmic transformation of pharmacokinetic parameters is routinely used in bioequivalence studies based on pharmacokinetic and statistical grounds by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Committee for Proprietary Medicinal Products (CPMP), and Japanese National Institute of Health and Science (NIHS). Although it has not yet been recommended by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA), its use is becoming increasingly necessary in order to harmonize with international standards. In the present study, statistical procedures for the analysis of a bioequivalence based on the log transformation and a related SAS procedure were demonstrated in order to aid the understanding and application. The AUC parameters used in this demonstration were taken from the previous bioequivalence study for two aceclofenac tablets, which were performed in a single-dose crossover design. Analysis of variance (ANOVA), statistical power to detect 20% difference between the tablets, minimum detectable difference and confidence intervals were all assessed following log-transformation of the data. Bioequivalence of two aceclofenac tablets was then estimated based on the guideline of FDA. Considering the international effort for harmaonization of guidelines for bioequivalence tests, this approach may require a further evaluation for a future adaptation in the Korea Guidelines of Bioequivalence Tests (KGBT).
This research was performed to investigate the diffusivity of borate rods in radiata pine (Pinus radiata D. Don) conditioned to 40 percent moisture content (MC). The deepest penetration of boron were observed in the longitudinal direction, followed by the radial and the tangential directions. The boron loading on the wood face adjacent to the borate rod tended to increase with diffusion time in all directions. To mathematically quantify boron diffusion, the diffusion coefficient of boron was determined using Boltzmann's transformation by assuming that it was a function of concentration only. The values of the longitudinal diffusion coefficients were between 1.3×10-8 cm2/sec and 9.2×10-8 cm2/sec. The radial diffusion coefficients were between 1.4×10-8 cm2/sec and 9.5×10-8 cm2/sec, and the tangential diffusion coefficients were between 5.2×10-9 cm2/sec and 1.3×10-8 cm2/sec. The differences of diffusion coefficients between the longitudinal direction and the radial direction were slight, although their concentration profiles were markedly different. This indicates that the amount of boron loading on the wood face adjacent the borate rod is one of the most important factor for boron penetration in wood with low MC.

In this paper, a university curriculum of Automation Robotics Process(RPA) among several goals for digital transformation of companies was developed. In the process of the development of ICT technology and the 4th industrial revolution, the existing analog information has changed through the stages of digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation. Recently, digital transformation has been cited as an essential survival strategy following a disruptive revolution that changes the paradigm of existing industrial systems and business. It is defined as a continuous process by which a company adapts to or promotes disruptive changes in customers and markets by using digital capabilities to create new business models, products and services. To this end, process automation in companies or organizations is an important factor. Accordingly, the need for a curriculum of robotics processes automation in universities has been raised according to these changes, and the related education contents, which have been centered on companies, have been redesigned to introduce the curriculum for universities. Education contents are composed to help students to attain certificates of essential or advanced of AA.

In this study, abiotic transformation of TNT reduction products via oxidative-coupling reaction was investigated using Mn oxide. In batch experiments, all the reduction products tested were completely transformed by birnessite, one of natural Mn oxides present in soil. Oxidative-coupling was the major transformation pathway, as confirmed by mass spectrometric analysis. Using observed pseudo-first-order rate constants with respect to birnessite loadings, surface area-normalized specific rate constants, $k_{surf}$, were determined. As expected, $k_{surf}$ of diaminonitrotoluenes (DATs) ($1.49{\sim}1.91\;L/m^2{\cdot}day$) are greater about 2 orders than that of dinitroaminotoluenes (DNTs) ($1.15{\times}10^{-2}{\sim}2.09{\times}10^{-2}\;L/m^2{\cdot}day$) due to the increased number of amine group. In addition, by comparing the value of $k_{surf}$ between DNTs or DATs, amino group on ortho position is likely to be more preferred for the oxidation by birnessite. Although cross-coupling of TNT in the presence of various mediator compounds was found not to be feasible, transformation of TNT by reduction using $Fe^0$ followed by oxidative coupling using Mn oxide was efficient, as evaluated by UV-visible spectrometry.

The appearance inspection of various electronic products and parts has been executed by the eyesight of human. But inspection by eyesight can't bring about uniform inspection result. Because the appearance inspection result by eyesight of human is changed by condition of physical and spirit of the checker. So machine vision inspection system is currently used to many appearance inspection fields instead of the checker. However the inspection result of machine vision is changed by the illumination of workplace. Therefore we have used a power-law transformation and histogram specification in this paper for improvement of vision inspection accuracy. As a result of these power-law transformation and histogram specification algorithm, we could increase the exactness of vision inspection and prevent system error from physical and spirit condition of human. Also this system has been developed only using PC, CCD Camera and Visual C++ for universal workplace.
This paper develops a design technique for approximating nonseparable frequency characteristics by sums and products of separable transfer functions. Therefore nonseparable frequency characteristics includes the four-quadrant symmetry filters. The desired filter with half plan symmetry is obtained by shifting a low pass characteristic in the frequency domain, and by combining these shifted characteristics. Also the paper develops the technique for designing recursive and nonrecursive two dimensional digital filters by the application of a complex transformation to one dimensional low pass filter.
Mycophenolic acid (MPA) is an antibiotic produced by Penicillium brevicompactum. MPA has antifungal, antineoplastic, and immunosuppressive functions, among others. ${\beta}-Hydroxy-{\beta}-methylglutaryl-CoA$ (HMG-CoA) lyase is a key enzyme in the bypass metabolic pathway. The inhibitory activity of HMG-CoA lyase increases the MPA biosynthetic flux by reducing the generation of by-products. In this study, we cloned the P. brevicompactum HMG-CoA lyase gene using the thermal asymmetric interlaced polymerase chain reaction and gene walking technology. Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation (ATMT) was used to insert a mutated HMG-CoA lyase gene into P. brevicompactum. Successful insertion of the HMG-CoA lyase gene was confirmed by hygromycin screening, PCR, Southern blot analysis, and enzyme content assay. The maximum MPA production by transformants was 2.94 g/l. This was 71% higher than wild-type ATCC 16024. Our results demonstrate that ATMT may be an alternative practical genetic tool for directional transformation of P. brevicompactum.
Although the exterior wood such as column may frequently contact with liquid water, little work has been found to measure liquid water absorption in wood. To investigate the moisture diffusivity of wood in the longitudinal direction including bound water and free water movement, liquid water absorption test was conducted at the room temperature. The order of magnitude for absorption coefficient and diffusivity was Japanese elm, horn beam, hemlock, spruce, radiata pine, and painted maple. The Boltzmann transformation method was used to determine the diffusivity from measured moisture content distributions in the absorption test. The shape of the curve representing the dependence of diffusivity with moisture content was similar in test samples. The diffusivity decreased with increasing moisture content until around the fiber saturation point and then increased at the nonhygroscopic region, which ranged from $10^{-10}$ to $10^{-7}m^2/s$.
Background: In this study, we screened and identified an endophyte JG09 having strong biocatalytic activity for ginsenosides from Platycodon grandiflorum, converted ginseng total saponins and ginsenoside monomers, determined the source of minor ginsenosides and the transformation pathways, and calculated the maximum production of minor ginsenosides for the conversion of ginsenoside Rb1 to assess the transformation activity of endophyte JG09. Methods: The transformation of ginseng total saponins and ginsenoside monomers Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd, Rg1 into minor ginsenosides F2, C-K and Rh1 using endophyte JG09 isolated by an organizational separation method and Esculin-R2A agar assay, as well as the identification of transformed products via TLC and HPLC, were evaluated. Endophyte JG09 was identified through DNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. Results: A total of 32 ${\beta}$-glucosidase-producing endophytes were screened out among the isolated 69 endophytes from P. grandiflorum. An endophyte bacteria JG09 identified as Luteibacter sp. effectively converted protopanaxadiol-type ginsenosides Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd into minor ginsenosides F2 and C-K, and converted protopanaxatriol-type ginsenoside Rg1 into minor ginsenoside Rh1. The transformation pathways of major ginsenosides by endophyte JG09 were as follows: $Rb1{\rightarrow}Rd{\rightarrow}F2{\rightarrow}C-K$; $Rb2{\rightarrow}C-O{\rightarrow}C-Y{\rightarrow}C-K$; $Rc{\rightarrow}C-Mc1{\rightarrow}C-Mc{\rightarrow}C-K$; $Rg1{\rightarrow}Rh1$. The maximum production rate of ginsenosides F2 and C-K reached 94.53% and 66.34%, respectively. Conclusion: This is the first report about conversion of major ginsenosides into minor ginsenosides by fermentation with P. grandiflorum endophytes. The results of the study indicate endophyte JG09 would be a potential microbial source for obtaining minor ginsenosides.
