The advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution is also causing many changes in defense operations. Defense reform and the fourth industrial revolution promoted smart defense innovation, and attempts are being made to incorporate cutting-edge science and technology into various fields such as weapons systems and defense operations. Education and training is one of the areas in which information and intelligence are urgently needed in the spirit of defense operations. Due to the nature of defense education and training, which aims to fight against the enemy, there is no emphasis on psychological training in the field rather than informatization, but in developed countries with various experiences of modern warfare, investment and vitalization of education and training are vital. Through this, efforts are being made to foster soldiers with problem-solving skills in uncertain battlefields. The informatization and intelligence of defense education and training is no longer a matter that can be delayed, and the innovation of education and training using cutting-edge science and technology can be said to be an age-old task to improve the results of education and training in the fourth industrial revolution. The purpose of this is because the application of related technologies is not the goal itself as the 4th Industrial Revolution arrives, but it has been made possible through the rapid advancement of science and technology that has made it difficult to realize education and training, even though it has long been desired. Ultimately, education and training data will be integrated and artificial intelligence-based intelligent learning systems will maximize the performance of education and training, thereby improving the combat readiness.

Providing safety training to construction workers is essential to reduce safety accidents at the construction site. With the prosperity of visualization technologies, Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) has been adopted for construction safety training by providing interactive learning experiences in a virtual environment. Previous research efforts on IVR-based training have found that the level of fidelity of interaction between real and virtual worlds is one of the important factors contributing to the sense of presence that would affect training performance. Various interactive devices that link activities between real and virtual worlds have been applied in IVR-based training, ranging from existing computer input devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc.) to specially designed devices such as high-end VR simulators. However, the need for high-fidelity interactive devices may hinder the applicability of IVR-based training as they would be more expensive than IVR headsets. In this regard, this study aims to understand the impact of the level of fidelity of interactive devices in the sense of presence in a virtual environment and the training performance during IVR-based forklift safety training. We conducted a comparative study by recruiting sixty participants, splitting them into two groups, and then providing different interactive devices such as a keyboard for a low fidelity group and a steering wheel and pedals for a high-fidelity group. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the sense of presence and task performance. These results indicate that the use of low-fidelity interactive devices would be acceptable for IVR-based safety training as safety training focuses on delivering safety knowledge, and thus would be different from skill transferring training that may need more realistic interaction between real and virtual worlds.
Purpose: This study was to explore the postnatal care experiences among first time Chinese immigrant mothers living in Korea. Methods: Data were collected by focus group interviews with 12 first time Chinese immigrant mothers utilizing 3 focus groups. After obtaining written informed consent from all participants, each session of the focus group was audio-recorded and transcribed verbatim. Data were analyzed by content analysis to identify major themes. Results: Four major themes for postnatal care experiences were extracted from the data as follows. 1) Range over traditional, modern, Korean or Chinese postnatal care, 2) Struggle with newborn care, 3) Another struggle with breastfeeding, and 4) Difficulties in becoming a mother as an immigrant. Conclusion: Based on their postpartum care experiences, it is concluded that participants requested more professional practical and individualized education/training for successful breastfeeding and newborn care. Health care providers need to develop and implement integrated support and mentoring programs that include information and peer support system for the first time Chinese immigrant mothers living in Korea. This would decrease the difficulties of becoming a mother.
Objectives: This study is to research delay time comparison for later defibrillation after hands off according to the changes in defibrillation electrodes. Study purpose: In defibrillation treatment that is the only way for cardiac arrest by arrhythmia, it is to find defibrillator device which can minimize late defibrillation delay time after important affect of hands off. Study object and method: After hands off according to the defibrillator device, we collected total 40 people for emergency medicine doctor, internal medicine doctor, general surgeon, nurse, emergency medical technician who are working at 2 CN, CS University hospitals in Gwangju Jeollanamdo district to find out hand off shock interval(HOSI). We then researched their general properties like occupation sector, experiences in clinic, gender, completion of AHA ACLS-P training and more. Then 40 participants continued ventricular fibrillation cardiac arrest simulation training (using human-model mannequin) designed by researcher and performed their roles as defibrillation operator. Each of participant used manual paddle and performed 4 times of defibrillation (150J) during 8 minutes of CPR and in 8day, the defibrillator devices were replaced from manual paddle to self-adhesive electrodes pads and 4 times of defibrillation (150J) under same simulation condition as manual paddle were performed. Study result: In comparison for delay time of later defibrillation after hands off of manual paddle and self adhesive electrodes pad, the self adhesive electrodes pad ($7.0{\pm}0.5sec$) seemed to reduce delay time of later defibrillation significantly (p<0.05) compared to manual paddle ($10.0{\pm}0.9sec$). The self adhesive electrodes pad, according to the general properties of participants, had no particular change in delay time after later defibrillation for the statistics (p>0.05) but the manual paddle had statistically significant differences for the occupation sector, experiences in clinic and gender (p<0.05). Conclusion: In defibrillation, the self adhesive electrodes pad($7.0{\pm}0.5sec$) showed short HOSI compared to manual paddle ($10.0{\pm}0.9sec$) significantly (p<0.05) and it applied identically for both existence and non-existence of ACLS-P training completion, experiences in clinic, gender and occupation sector. The manual paddle had also significant difference in experiences in clinic and occupation sector (p<0.05). which means the effect on HOSI according to the job mastery. Therefore, if the clinic experience is short or in case for the occupations without frequent defibrillation treatment has a danger of lowering success rate for the defibrillation using manual paddle. Therefore, it is true that using self adhesive electrodes pad for defibrillation electrodes when performing manual defibrillation in pre-hospital as well as in-hospital steps can generally minimize delay time of later defibrillation after hands off.

The purpose of this study was to explore traumatic experiences and posttraumatic growth of nursing students who were in clinical training. The data were collected from 490 nursing students at four nursing colleges with clinical training experience more than 1 year, from November 20th 2017 to December 20th. Collected data were analyzed through t-test, ANOVA, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test with the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program, and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. 26.5% of the subjects had traumatic experiences in their daily life, 61.2% in the clinical practice. Their posttraumatic growth was scored 2.63 out of 5 on average. The contents of traumatic experiences were 'Violence experienced by medical staff','Negative perception of nursing care','Non-Educational Practical Environment' Clinical practice in a harsh environment, Witness of a serious patient, et al. The findings can be used as important basic data for the development of nursing practice education program for encouraging the posttraumatic growth of nursing students.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore nursing students experiences in team based simulation learning. This study was based on a phenomenological research methodology. Methods: Fourteen nursing students participated in this study. The students gave in depth interviews and wrote reflective journals after participating in a team based simulation learning program, which was provided at C University in Gwangju for 8 weeks, 2011. These data were analyzed using Van Kaam's method. Results: 21 sub-themes and 9 themes were elicited from 55 significant statements. They were classified into 3 categories such as : 'First exposed to lessons on how Burden', 'the enjoyment of team based simulation learning', 'expansion of the clinical competence'. Conclusion: Teaching and learning strategy that combines a variety of simulation training to nursing students to develop critical skills to improve their care to give and take advantage of simulation training supplement is advised.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of early childhood teachers' music attitude and emotional leadership on their music teaching efficacy in the music education. Methods: 301 early childhood teachers answered the music attitude scale, music teaching efficacy belief instrument, emotional leadership scale, and questionnaire for socio-demographic characteristics and music experiences. Data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's productive correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: First, early childhood teachers had a higher music teaching efficacy in case of at least 10 years of teaching experiences period, having a post-graduate degree, having a music training experience, enjoying learning musical instruments and singing and listening to music during regular music lessons, and having a long music training experience. Similar results were derived from the subfactors of music teaching efficacy. Second, there were positive correlations(r=.172-.659, p < .001) in the total and subfactors scores among early childhood teachers' music attitude, emotional leadership, and music teaching efficacy. Lastly, early childhood teachers' music attitude and their emotional leadership were explained at 39~52 percent for their music teaching efficacy. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that it is important for early childhood teachers' perception of their belief, knowledge and feeling about music education.

Although women's economic participation has been increasing in Korea, the utilization of educated women's labor is still low. Therefore, vocational training programs for women are both important and necessary. This study examines the vocational training programs for women offered by the three largest vocational training centers in Jeju: the Woman Resources Development Center, the Jeju Women's Development Center, and the Seogwipo City Women's Cultural Center. This study also analyzes the students' satisfaction with these vocational training programs and identifies the related variables that cause differences in their levels of satisfaction. The sample includes 397 respondents who were surveyed from June 23 to September 12, 2008. Moreover, the data are analyzed by conducting a one-way ANOVA, t-test, and Duncan's Multiple Range(DMR)test. The major results of the study are as follows. First, the vocational training programs in Jeju consist of lectures that cover various subjects. The programs mainly focus on work that offers relatively low wages and requires few skills, and the duration of the programs is short. Second, the original goal of the programs does not meet the needs of women who are seeking employment. The participants respond that they want more appropriate programs that are designed by considering their need for employment, support them in finding a job, and re-educate them. Third, most of the participants are satisfied with their vocational training experiences, and their satisfaction with the instructors is especially high. The differences in their levels of satisfaction are caused by economic characteristics such as the location of the student's residence, home ownership, and the level of life. The results of this study suggest that there is a need to separate vocational/employment training from general education for women. Moreover, the vocational training programs for women should be more specialized according to the different needs of each group.
This study used a qualitative research method to comprehensively deal with child care training in depth with the following content: the goals of child care teachers preparing for practical training; how they perform and feel about their roles throughout the training period as child care teachers; and their evaluation after the training period. A total of 10 people participated in the research and the training activities of child care teachers were qualitatively explored based on the results. The research findings are as follows. First, child care teachers have expectations for prospective teachers and take time for self-evaluation while preparing for teaching. Also, child care teachers set a goal of helping prospective teachers develop into outstanding teachers and have expectations for it. Second, child care teachers evaluate prospective teachers by treating them as colleagues while teaching them. Furthermore, child care teachers consider themselves as educators who train and produce child care professionals. Prospective teachers define their roles as assistants and learners in the actual educational scene. In addition, child care teachers feel a sense of pride by performing as hands-on training teachers. At the same time, they reflect on themselves by evaluating their duties as educators in their relationships with prospective teachers. Third, child care teachers suggested the need for changing the training system for themselves and prospective teachers after training. In addition, they argued that the gaps between school education and the actual educational scene should be reduced through solid training for acquiring new knowledge and information in both places in accordance with the rapidly-changing child care environment. Finally, the suggested the necessity of establishing a standard training curriculum and educational programs within their institution.
The purpose of this research was to evaluate retention of cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills and self-confidence on CPR 3 months after CPR training program. The sample consisted of 39 nursing students. We provided one rescuer CPR training program for nursing college students on the basis of AHA. The questionnaires for knowledge of CPR were developed 50 items based on AHA guidelines. Self-confidence were checked by 11 items questionnaires. The accuracy of CPR skills were checked by Skillreporter CPR training manikin and by researcher's evaluation based on CPR skill checklist. The results were as follows ; 1. The majority of participants didn't have any previously experiences of CPR training (76.9%). Only 15.1% previously took the CPR training with CPR practice. 2. In terms of self-confidence of CPR. The score were increased for 2 days (p>.001) but retention of self confidence was significantly statistical decreased in 3 months after training (p<.001). 3. There was a statistically significant decrement in mean of knowledge of CPR between 2 days and 3 months after CPR training (p<.001). 4. There was a statistically significant decrement in cognitive knowledge of CPR based on CPR skills checklist(p<.001). 5. Retention scores of psychomotor skills of CPR 3 months after training were 42.10% in numbers of adequate ventilation, 52.81% in numbers of adequate chest compression (p<.001) respectively. 6. Retention of passing rate on chest compressions of CPR 3 months after training was 27% (p<.001), on ventilation was 2.63% (p>.001). The error items with statistically significant differences 3 months after CPR training were too little ventilation (74.36%) and too little chest compressions (92.31%). The results of the study suggest that we need further evaluation of course components which could improve retention of CPR for all trainees.
