The purpose of this paper is to show the effect of information sharing strategy on the supply chain performances. While traditional information sharing models assumed centralized stock information, recent supply chain practices often implement fully shared stock information, where real-time stock information is accessible on retailers. When retailers are competing with each other, this fully shared stock information may incur retailers' strategic order behaviors. Thus, this paper analyzes a simple two-level supply chain consisting of one warehouse and two identical competing retailers where the real time stock information is fully shared. The warehouse uses the traditional echelon stock policy. Under this environment the retailers' reorder decisions are derived using the order risk concept and the retailer competition mechanism is analyzed. Computational results show that the supply chain performace degradation in the fully shared stock information is quite significant, implying the importance of designing information sharing strategies in the supply chain design phase.

Ephedra and ephedra alkaloids are sympathomimetic compounds extracted from the genus Ephedra. They have been used to treat colds and provide cough relief for centuries in oriental medicine. Recently, it has been reported that Ephedra plays a crucial role in weight loss and the enhancement of athletic performances. However, the overuse of Ephedra causes cardiovascular side effects such as increases in blood pressure, heart rate, and palpitations. Ephedra's adverse effects also were mentioned in Shan Han Lun, a famous formulary in traditional Chinese medicine. The present study demonstrated Ephedra's effects and the deficiency of Yang due to the overuse of Ephedra.

Two decision feedback equalizer structures employing recurrent neural network (RNN) used for non-linear channels with severe intersymbol interference (ISI) and non-linear distortion are proposed in this paper, which skillfully put the traditional decision feedback structure for linear channels equalization into RNN, replace decision feedback signal with training signal in the learning process and adaptively adjust the learning step. Simulative results of the first type of two new equalizer structures have shown that it has better equalization performances than traditional recurrent neural network equalizer (RNNE) under the same condition.

Chi-pao is a kind of traditional clothes; it is regarded as a national costume, playing an irreplaceable role in the Chinese history. As China developed, the strict requirements on dresses did as well. History is a double-sided mirror,; we can know the past and we can find the direction ifor future development. when it comes to reform and openness, China imports foreign culture and exports domestic culture as well. This essay uses the history of Chi-pao as the background, consults the reference to analyse the brand of Chinese domestic Chi-pao characteristics, summarize the fashionable trend. Recently, Chi-pao is worn in many kinds of important occasions such as foreign affairs, public performances and so on. The purpose of this essay is to analyze the current situation of Chi-pao, make Chi-pao more international, and show the Chinese history to the world.

In this paper, to reduce BER(Bit Error Rate) in satellite ATM Networks, a new scheme for FEC(Forward Error Corection) using multi-stage Viterbi coder is proposed. In terms of structural complexity, proposed multi-stage Viterbi coder is simpler than the traditional single-stage coder based on the same BER performances. and, through simulation, proposed coder shows excellent error correction capabilities, compared with traditional FEC schemes. Also, we propose a selective FEC mechanism that adaptively changes the number of stages to satisfy the QoS(Quality of Service) requirements. This Selective scheme can be easily implemented using the PLCP(Physical Layer Convergence Protocol) frame structure.

This study was prepared to present the research data for the promotion of Korean foods and restaurants in Korea and abroad by an analysis of the recognition and preference of Korean traditional foods and an importance-performance analysis of Korean restaurants by foreign visitors (n=351) and foreign residents (n=365). The most recognized Korean foods among foreigners were Bibimbap>Kimchi>Bulogi>Galbi>Samgyetang;however, the most preferred Korean foods were statistically different; Bibimbap>Kimchi>Bulgogi>Galbi>Rameyeon by foreign visitors and Bulgogi>Bibimbap>Galbi>Samgyetang>Kimchi by foreign residents. Especially, the preferences for Samgyetang and Dakgalbi were increased whereas that for Kimchi was decreased in foreign residents. The Korean foods were described as 'hot and pungent' and 'spicy' by foreign visitors, but 'hot and pungent', 'non-greasy' and 'salty' by foreign residents. In choosing a restaurant, 'quality of food' was most important among foreigners, but 'proper price' was considered more significant than 'sanitation and cleanness' by foreign residents compared with foreign visitors. The satisfaction with Korean restaurants of foreign residents was lower than that of foreign visitors. An analysis of importance and performance of Korean restaurants by foreigners was performed. There were significant differences in the evaluations of Korean restaurants between foreign visitors and foreign residents (p<0.05). The importance of the attributes related with 'foods' and 'sanitation' were rated higher by foreign residents. On the other hand, foreign visitors rated the importance of the attributes related to 'eating environment' and 'employees' more highly. Foreign residents significantly rated the performances of Korean restaurants lower in each attribute except 'additional free side dishes' and 'communications'.

국내 유통시장의 흐름은 유통시장 개방이후 대형마트의 급속한 성장에 따른 중소유통 시장의 쇠퇴로 요약 된다. 최근 대형마트의 성장은 외국계 대형마트가 국내 대형마트에게 인수합병(홈에버-까르푸 인수, 이마트-월마트 인수) 되면서부터 대형화, 과점화 되어 가는 양상이며, 유통 인프라가 상대적으로 취약한 중소유통 시장은 경쟁력을 잃어가고 있다. 특히, 중소유통 시장 중에서 지방 재래시장은 침체된 지방 경기속에서 고객들의 외면으로 대형마트의 수요와 유통업체들의 다변화에 밀려 심각한 도산의 위기에 몰려있다. 유통산업의 비균형적 발전에 따른 중소유통 시장의 경영난이 심화되고 있는 가운데 존폐위기에 처해 있는 재래시장의 활성화를 위한 적극적인 노력이 필요한 것이 본 연구를 수행하는 목적이다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 대전광역시의 유통현황의 문제점을 분석하였고, 이를 토대로 재래시장이 처하고 있는 문제점을 지적하여 재래시장의 활성화 방안에 대하여 제시하였다. 본 논문을 통하여 대형마트와 중소유통시장의 성장을 위한 발전방향이 모색되어, 재래시장이 지속적인 성장을 통한 경쟁력이 구축되기를 바란다.

일제강점기, 조선중앙기독교청년회관 경성공회당 부민관은 여러 공연과 행사가 이루어지던 다목적 공간이었다. 각 공간들에서 연행된 전통음악공연은 전통음악의 명맥유지와 전통음악인들의 활동영역확대에 영향을 주었지만, 이들 공간은 주로 서양음악과 타 장르의 공연에 편향되어 있었던 까닭에, 전통음악공연에 대해서는 구체적으로 조명된 바가 없다. 이에 본 연구는 앞의 다목적 공간들에서 연행된 전통음악의 공연양상을 밝히는데 목적을 두고, 당시의 여러 신문자료를 통해 각 공간들에서의 전통음악공연양상을 공연형태 공연 프로그램 공연자 및 공연단체 전개양상으로 나누어 논하였다. 먼저 전통음악이 각 공간에서 주로 어떤 형태로 공연되고 있었는지 고찰하였으며, 공연 프로그램은 기악과 성악 정악과 민속악 등으로 분류하고, 공연자는 기악과 성악 전문연주자와 일반인 남자명창과 여류명창 및 기생 등으로 분류하여 개개의 비중이 공간별로 어떻게 나타나는지 파악하였다. 또한, 공연자와 공연단체의 출연여부는 공간과 어떠한 연관성이 있었으며, 공연양상은 시기별로 어떻게 전개되었는지 살펴보았다. 이를 통해, 각 공간에서 연행된 전통음악공연의 양상은 그들 공간이 지닌 특성의 영향이 컸음을 인지했으며, 공연 프로그램 및 공연자들과 단체들의 활동양상에 대해서도 더욱 명확하고 구체적인 파악이 가능했다. 본 연구를 계기로 아직까지 조명되지 못한 여타 공간들에서의 전통음악공연에 대한 연구가 활성화되어, 일제강점기 전통음악공연의 추이와 동향을 파악하는데 도움이 될 수 있길 기대해 본다.

기존의 큐잉분석은 네트워크 용량설계 및 성능 예측시 상당히 유용하지만, 실제의 경우 큐잉 분석으로부터 예측된 결과는 실제 관측된 성능과는 상당히 다르다. 또한 LAM, WAN 및 VBR 트래픽 특성에 관한 최근의 실험적 연구들은 기존의 Poisson 가정에 의한 모델들이 네트워크 트래픽의 장기간 의존성 및 self-similar 특성을 과소평가 함으로써, 실제 트래픽의 특성을 제대로 나타낼 수 없다는 것을 지적해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 exactly self-similar 모델링인 Pareto-like ON/OFF 소스 모델링에 의한 트래픽과 기존의 Poisson 모델링에 의한 트래픽을 비교 분석함으로써, self-similar 트래픽이 실제의 Ethernet 트래픽 특성을 잘 반영한다는 것을 보임으로써 최적화된 ATM 네트워크 설계 및 성능분석을 이루고자 한다.

Korean traditional houses have been developed in harmony with natural environment and comfortable indoor condition by using the natural resources including building layout, space composition and materials. Originally Korea traditional architectures have used wood lintel constructions and loess walls through the many years. Theses loess have many strength such as highly heat capacity, controling of humidity, a deodorant than any other materials. Nowaday it is recommended to use exterior and interior walls in loess wall to meet the eco-friendly materials to improve our residental environmental. Thus this study aims to research the sound insulation performance of traditional loess brick wall varied with thickness, thermal insulation materials and cavity wall. The sound insulation performance of these loess walls are compared with other masonry wall's and sound insulation performance of th walls were tested in anechoic laboratory to measure the sound transmission loss of these walls. The loess brick wall with 75mm thickness of cavity is shown the sound insulation performance with Rw 57 which is nearly same performances of 1B brick wall and cement 8' block wall, The improving effect of insulation materials is shown in the high frequency bandwidth. Especially, there is improving as much as 11 dB using the extruded poly stylene form(75mm) and poly ethylene film(0.7mm).
