  • Since the mid of the 20th century in the world, it has been observed that the number of minor or moderate earthquake motions tend to be increased year by year. Owing to the topographical condition, moreover, large numbers of skew bridges have been constructed for the requirements of more than DB18 ton bridge in Korea. It has been also observed from foreign countries that lots of superstructures collapse in bridge were occurred in previous earthquakes, inclusive of 1995 Kobe earthquake. This is caused by a relative displacement between the upper and lower structure of bridge by the earthquake and the rotation with respect to the vertical axis of skew bridges, which were subjected to and earthquake motion. In this study, the probabilistic analysis of unseating failure of skew bridges under scenario earthquake has been carried out by evaluating the longitudinal displacement of skew bridges.

  • In recent years, as lines are selected In disadvantageous region, unavoidable developments is increased. Owing to such developments. environmental problems have been occurred frequently, In excavation of tunnels especially located in close to slope, uneven stress take place to tunnel due to a topographical factor. it is used assistant methods of construction which are excavation of slope, retaining wall, ground anchor, etc for uneven stress. these assistant methods raise problems of environmental. In this study, using slit, we could make better stress state by means of inducing stress concentration in boundary of tunnel. considering a variety of slit and rock mass condition, we use numerical analysis.

루프형 낙석방지안전시설의 구조적 안전성 검토 연구 (Structural Safety Analysis of Newly Developed Roof-Typed Falling Rock Protection System)

  • Road is typically constructed along ridge area of mountain because of topographical and economic reasons. Therefore, road may face lots of open cut slope which can easily cause rock falling. This study evaluates the structural safety of newly developed falling rock protection system which has a roof deck plate. The structural performance under self-weight, snow load and load from failing rock was investigated using a finite element numerical analysis method. From the analysis results, the H-beam space was limited not to exceed 2.2m. The deck plate was also safe under the examined loading condition. A hinge and connection in the system were investigated through detailed modelling and analysis. The results showed that the hinge was safe enough and that the connection should strengthened with appropriate stiffeners.

산불피해지역 연료형태가 산불연소에 미치는 영향 (Influence on forest fire spread & intensity on fuel type of burnt area.)

  • Forest fire danger rate of thinning area was lower than that of non thinning area, because height rate of leewardside in burned stem of tree, damage rate of crown and mortality of tree in thinning area were 30.8%, 37% and 48.4% lower than that in non-thinning area, respectively. Intensity of forest fire varied depending upon topographical condition up slope, down slope, aspect, location as well as species, breast height diameter and forest tree density. Especially, a mountaintop area was burned down when forest fire was spread to up slope ridge of mountain.

자연사면 산사태 특성에 관한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Characteristics of Landslides in Natural Slopes)

  • This paper is a result of a case study about landslides at Whacheon area in Kangwondo occurred during heavy rainfall in 2006. A-day-accumulative rainfalls from July 12 to July 13 and July 15 to July 16 were 120mm and 110mm respectively. Five sites at which slope failures occurred were visited to figure out main causes of slope failures by investigating characteristics of rainfall, geological formation, topography and ground surface exploration around the boundary of the landslides. Based on the site investigation characteristics of landslide with respect to rainfall pattern, geological and topographical condition and pattern of landslide were evaluated.

희양산 봉암사 산림유전자원보호구역 산림군락구조 특성 (The Vegetational Characteristics of Bongamsa Forest Genetic Resources Reserve Area in Mt. Heuyang)

  • 경상북도 문경 희양산 산림식생 특성을 봉암사 산림유전자원보호구역을 중심으로 파악하였다. 총 92개 조사구($100m^2/plot$)에 대한 조사를 실시하고, Classification 분석과 Ordination 분석을 통해 군락분류를 실시한 결과 이 지역의 식생은 신갈나무군락, 굴참나무군락, 소나무군락, 소나무-졸참나무군락, 소나무-신갈나무군락, 졸참나무군락, 낙엽활엽수군락, 잣나무조림지, 일본잎갈나무조림지의 총 9개 군락으로 분류되었다. 각 군락간의 비교를 위해 지형조건과 식생조사 결과에 대한 통계분석을 실시하였으며, 해발고도, 경사, 출현종수, 교목층 출현 개체수, 아교목층 출현 개체수에서 통계적으로 유의하게 군락간 차이를 보였다. 층위별 상대우점치를 통한 각 군락의 군락구조를 분석한 결과, 참나무류군락은 교목층과 아교목층에 고르게 세력을 형성하고 있어 현재의 군락이 유지되거나 확대될 것으로 예상되는 반면, 소나무 우점 군락은 대부분 참나무류와의 경쟁이 심화되고 있어 향후 이들 참나무류로의 천이가 예상되었다.

  • 소나무의 AIDS라 일컫는 소나무 재선충이 1988년 부산의 금정산에서 최초로 발견되었다. 발견된 이후 2005년 12월까지 경상남도 전역 53개 시군구지역에 피해를 끼쳤다. 피해를 입은 삼림지역에 대한 최선의 대책은 초기 방재 작업 후에 훈증을 통해 처리하는 방법이다. 그러나 관찰에 의해 초기에 방재를 하는 것은 피해 삼림지역이 매우 광범위한 지역에 걸쳐있기 때문에 어렵다. 또한 한국의 지형적 특성 상 관찰자의 접근이 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 근적외선 CCD 카메라를 사용하여 소나무 재선충 피해지역의 초기 방재 가능성을 제시하였다.

고지도와 사진에 의한 월미도의 3차원 영상 복원 (3D Image Restitution of Weolmido by using Old Maps and Photos)

  • 월미도는 지리적 특징으로 인해 많은 변화를 겪은 지역이다. 본 연구에서는 월미도의 옛모습을 3차원으로 영상복원하고 그 변화를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 1918년, 1928년, 1969년도 종이지도와 2008년도 수치지도 그리고 1954년도 항공사진을 활용하였다. 또한 당시의 사진을 통해 건축물의 모습과 지형지물의 형태를 파악하고 이를 복원에 활용하였다. 영상복원은 지도제작과 사진측량학적 방법에 의해 수행되었으며 그 결과 각 시대의 모습을 3차원으로 복원하고 그 변화를 비교할 수 있었다.

주민의식과 입지특성에 따른 농촌마을 환경영향시설의 정비방향 (Improvement Plan of Environment-Impacting Facilities by Inhabitants Consciousness and Spatial Characteristics in Rural Areas)

  • In this study, thirteen villages in Chonnam province were selected as case study sites and the spatial distribution of the facilities in the villages was examined to provide basic information fur the establishment of rural plans. According to the questionnaire survey, various problem such as environmental pollution, position, scene, management etc. was brought owing to cattle shed, and dissension was more or less seen by scale of facilities, management of facilities and waste, regional factor(stock farming management condition, life style and attitude of inhabitants) and topographical factor (height, position physical aspect of a mountain, distance with water resources etc.) etc.. The facilities could be classified into 6 types based on the their spatial locations: 1) Type 1, facilities located at the waterside; 2) Type 2, facilities located at the entrance of village; 3) Type 3 facilities, scattered in the residential area: 4) Type 4 facilities, collectivized in village; 5) Type 5 facilities, adjoining village; and 6) Type 6 facilities, scattered irregularly inside and outside of village. Based on the classification, possible implementations for the reduction of environmental impacts were suggested. The results of this study could be used as an example of study on the distribution, classification, and rearrangement of environment-impacting facilities in rural areas for improvement of their roles in providing amenity resources.
