3차원 지형모델 알고리즘을 이용한 토지정보체계 구축 (Construction of Land Information System using Three Dimensional Digital Elevation Model Algorithm)

  • 지리정보체계는 도시정보체계, 토지정보체계, 시설물관리체계, 군사정보체계 등 많은 세부분야로 나누어진다. 이런 세부분야들은 서로 유기적으로 연결되어 국가지리정보체계를 이룬다. 현재 지리정보체계의 구축은 도시정보체계를 비롯하여 많은 분야에서 이루어지고 있고, 모든 분야의 정보는 서로 공유될 수 있도록 네트워크로 구축되어 있다. 현재 지적관련의 토지정보체계는 2차원에 국한되어 구축되고 있지만 지리정보체계의 연계를 통하여 3차원의 토지정보체계의 구축 및 활용이 가능하며, 이로 인한 효과는 극대화될 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 앞으로 지적도면과 다른 수치지형도와의 연결을 위한 연구가 많이 이루어져야 하며 수치도면들의 연결을 통하여 3차원 지적정보의 구축 및 분석에 대한 연구를 통한 보다 효율적인 토지정보시스템의 구축이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 지리정보체계 중 수치 지형도와 지적도와의 통합을 통해 3차원 수치표고모델을 구축하고, 지적정보데이터베이스와 유기적인 연결을 통한 3차원 통합 토지정보체계를 구축하는 것이 목적이다.

Reflection-type Three-dimensional Screen using Retroreflector

  • A reflection-type three-dimensional (3D) screen using retroreflector is proposed to improve the visibility of a projected 3D image while keeping its perspective. For the projection-type 2D display, the diffuser is used to represent the 2D scene, overcoming the limitation of the aperture of the projection lens set. If the diffuser is adopted for the projected 3D image, only 2D images sectioned and blurred should be displayed on the screen. The proposed screen can make the 3D image with the aperture limitation visible to be applied to the 3D image projection systems. The feasibility of the proposed screen is verified by experiments.

Analysis on Electric Field Based on Three Dimensional Atmospheric Electric Field Apparatus

  • As a key component of lighting location system (LLS) for lightning warning, the atmospheric electric field measuring is required to have high accuracy. The Conventional methods of the existent electric field measurement meter can only detect the vertical component of the atmospheric electric field, which cannot acquire the realistic electric field in the thunderstorm. This paper proposed a three dimensional (3D) electric field system for atmospheric electric field measurement, which is capable of three orthogonal directions in X, Y, Z, measuring. By analyzing the relationship between the electric field and the relative permittivity of ground surface, the permittivity is calculated, and an efficiency 3D measurement model is derived. On this basis, a three-dimensional electric field sensor and a permittivity sensor are adopted to detect the spatial electric field. Moreover, the elevation and azimuth of the detected target are calculated, which reveal the location information of the target. Experimental results show that the proposed 3D electric field meter has satisfactory sensitivity to the three components of electric field. Additionally, several observation results in the fair and thunderstorm weather have been presented.

Analysis of Transport Characteristics for FinFET Using Three Dimension Poisson's Equation

  • This paper has been presented the transport characteristics of FinFET using the analytical potential model based on the Poisson's equation in subthreshold and threshold region. The threshold voltage is the most important factor of device design since threshold voltage decides ON/OFF of transistor. We have investigated the variations of threshold voltage and drain induced barrier lowing according to the variation of geometry such as the length, width and thickness of channel. The analytical potential model derived from the three dimensional Poisson's equation has been used since the channel electrostatics under threshold and subthreshold region is governed by the Poisson's equation. The appropriate boundary conditions for source/drain and gates has been also used to solve analytically the three dimensional Poisson's equation. Since the model is validated by comparing with the three dimensional numerical simulation, the subthreshold current is derived from this potential model. The threshold voltage is obtained from calculating the front gate bias when the drain current is $10^{-6}A$.

  • This paper presents a methodology for automatic feature extraction used in a vision system of FMC (flexible Manufacturing Cell). To implement a robot vision system, it is important to make a feature database for object recognition, location, and orientation. For industrial applications, it is necessary to extract feature information from CAD database since the detail information about an object is described in CAD data. Generally, CAD description is three dimensional information but single image data from camera is two dimensional information. Because of this dimensiional difference, many problems arise. Our primary concern in this study is to convert three dimensional data into two dimensional data and to extract some features from them and store them into the feature database. Secondary concern is to construct feature selecting system that can be used for part recognition in a given set of objects.

  • 본 연구에서는 3차원 포아송방정식을 이용하여 FinFET의 문턱전압특성을 분석하였다. FinFET는 차세대 나노소자로서 단채널효과를 감소시킬 수 있다는 장점 때문에 많은 연구가 진행중에 있다. 이에 FinFET에서 단채널효과로서 잘 알여진 문턱전압이하 스윙 및 문턱전압 등을 3차원 포아송방정식의 분석학적 모델로 분석하고자 한다. 나노소자인 FinFET의 구조적 특성을 고찰하기 위하여 채널의 두께, 길이, 폭 등의 크기요소에 따라 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 사용한 분석학적 3차원 포아송방정식의 포텐셜모델 및 전송모델은 여러 논문에서 3차원 수치해석학적 값과 비교하여 그 타당성이 입증되었으므로 이 모델을 이용하여 FinFET의 문턱전압 특성 및 문턱전압이하 특성을 분석하였다.

  • Three-dimensional face recognition algorithm using curvature information representing characteristics of surface form is suggested. The experiment showed more than 90 percent of recognition for the noses which had definite change value of data, and contained much information about surface curvature. Recognition ratio using a contour taken from the remaining part other than the eyes, noses, mouths which are the main components of faces showed the important role, which could be used as the important index information in the three-dimensional face recognition.

  • This paper presents design and implementation methods of the real-time three dimensional tracking system of the gazing point. The proposed method is based on three dimensional data processing of eye images in the 3D world coordinates. The system hardware consists of two conventional CCD cameras for acquisition of stereoscopic image and computer for processing. And in this paper, the advantages of the proposed algorithm and test results ate described.

Three-dimensional Map Construction of Indoor Environment Based on RGB-D SLAM Scheme

  • RGB-D SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) refers to the technology of using deep camera as a visual sensor for SLAM. In view of the disadvantages of high cost and indefinite scale in the construction of maps for laser sensors and traditional single and binocular cameras, a method for creating three-dimensional map of indoor environment with deep environment data combined with RGB-D SLAM scheme is studied. The method uses a mobile robot system equipped with a consumer-grade RGB-D sensor (Kinect) to acquire depth data, and then creates indoor three-dimensional point cloud maps in real time through key technologies such as positioning point generation, closed-loop detection, and map construction. The actual field experiment results show that the average error of the point cloud map created by the algorithm is 0.0045m, which ensures the stability of the construction using deep data and can accurately create real-time three-dimensional maps of indoor unknown environment.

  • In this paper, we consider the delay partial differential equation of three dimensions with constant coefficients. We established the alternating direction difference scheme by the standard finite difference method, gave the order of convergence of the format and the expression of the difference scheme truncation errors.
