Design and implementation of a Moving Object Engine

  • Recently, the services using position information of moving objects is embossed. Theses services needs the moving objects databases to manage moving object data with efficiency. To build the moving object databases, we must develop the moving object engine to mange, store, and search the spatio temporal data of moving object. The moving object engine has to support query syntax to search data that suitable for user need like LBS, Telematics, ITS, vehicle management system. In this paper, we design and implement the moving object engine to support service with moving object data. The moving object engine is able to support system environment that users are able to get the moving object data easily even they don't know complex data structure.

콘텐츠 적응화 서비스 지원을 위한 CC/PP기반의 프로파일 통합 관리 시스템 (Integrated Management System of Profile Based on CC/PP for Supporting Content Adaptation Services)

  • 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠 적응화 서비스를 위해 필요한 프로파일들을 효율적으로 통합 관리 해주는 시스템을 제안한다. 콘텐츠 적응화 서비스 제공을 위해서 제안된 프로파일들은 다양한 서비스에서 이용되고 있다. 그러나 현재 프로파일들은 서비스에 따라 다르게 구성되기 때문에 상호 호환성이 부족하고 이로 인하여 통합 관리의 어려움을 가지고 있다. 또한 서비스 업체에 따라 별도로 프로파일을 운영함으로써 많은 운영비용을 소비하고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 다양한 종류의 프로파일을 통합하고 관리해주는 시스템이 필요하다. 제안된 프로파일 통합 관리 시스템은 프로파일 서비스 아키텍처와 기존 프로파일 연구를 기반으로 필요한 기능을 도출하였다. 프로파일 통합 관리 시스템은 CC/PP 명세를 준수하고 RDF 형태로 만들어진 프로파일을 지원하며, 프로파일 수신, 처리, 저장, 관리, 제공 기능 등을 지원한다. 또한 프로파일의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 메타데이터 구성 기법과 동적 기법을 적용하였다. 성능 평가 결과 프로파일 통합 관리 시스템에 제안된 기법들은 기존 기법에 비해 4% 향상된 결과를 나타냈다.

인사고과에 관한 국내 간호연구 동향분석 (An Analysis on the Contents and the Trend of Research of Performance Appraisal in Korea)

  • Purpose: The authors reviewed researches related to performance appraisal(32 researches), in order to identify the direction for future research and to establish a credible performance appraisal system. Method: Almost all of the theses and research published in 9 major journals of nursing in korea were reviewed. Results: Most of research(84.4%) were theses and all researches were used to non-experimental design; survey 81.3%, methodological research 15.6%, review 3.1%. The major subjects of study were appraisees and appraisers. Psychosocial data collection which only used questionnaire were 81.3% and carried out interview(12.5%) and delphi-method(3.1%). Data analysis methods were used frequency 78.1%, t-test 62.5%, mean/SD 59.4%, Pearson's correlation 50%, and Cronbach α 50%. Appraisal tool used or developed in studies was graphic rating scales in nine studies and ran parallel with forced distribution in 2. Also, MBO and BSC were developed. Total number of korean terms in performance measurement were 11, and english terms 15. The tendency of the terms was toward performance appraisal or evaluation. Conclusion: In the light of results, we expect development of corporate appraisal tool that can evaluate nurse competence and performance. Total performance management system also should be established.

인공지능 피난유도설비 적용에 따른 최적 대피시뮬레이션 연구 (A Study for Optimal Evacuation Simulation by Artificial Intelligence Evacuation Guidance Application)

  • For safe evacuation in the fire disaster, the evacuees must find the exit and evacuate quickly. Especially, if the evacuees don't know the location of the exit, they have to depend on the evacuation guidance system. Because the more smoke spread, the less visibility is decreasing, it is difficult to find the way to the exit by the naked eye. For theses reasons, the evacuation guidance system is highly important. However, the evacuation guidance system without change of direction has the risk that introduce to the dangerous area. In the evacuation safety assessment scenario by the evacuation simulation has the same problem. Because the evacuee in the simulation evacuate by the shortest route to the exit, the simulation result is same like the evacuation without the evacuation guidance system. In this study, it was used with MAS (Multi Agent System)-based simulation program including the evacuation guidance system to implement the change of evacuation by fire. Using this method, confidence of evacuation safety assessment can be increase.

국내 대형소매유통업체에서의 비정규직 고용의 결정요인에 관한 연구 (Determinants of Contingent Employment in Korean Department Stores)

  • This paper examines what determines the use of contingent workers in Korean Department Stores. Drawing on internal labor market, transaction cost & agency, and bureaucracy theories, I hypothesize that four factors affect the use of contingent workers: job characteristics, HRM, occupation, and organizational characteristics. Data from a sample of employers surveyed by the author in 1997 were used to test the hypotheses, and analyses showed the following results. First, consistent with job-based perspective, we find that such job characteristics as firm-specific skill and the level of skill significantly affect the use of contingent workers. But job standardization and outcome measurability have no effects of its use. Second, also we find significant effects on the use of contingent workers of such HRM as scrutiny on employee selection and promotion system. The promotion system has expected effect on its use, but scrutiny on employee selection has opposite effect. Third, we find that occupation significantly affects the use of contingent workers, especially the extent of use of contingent workers of sales service is as five hundred times as that of managerial occupation. Fourth, also consistent with organizational-based perspective, we find that the firm's size significantly has positive effects, and affiliate company and labor union have negative effects. That is, the larger firm's size is, the more possibility of use of contingent workers exists, and the possibilities of its use reduce in case of affiliate company and in front of labor union. Finally, we discuss the implications and limits of theses findings.

  • 본 연구는 21세기 대학의 정보화 및 지식화에 부응하고 나아가 국가의 연구 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 대학학술정보 유통제제에 관한 현 상황을 분석하고 개선 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위한 세부 연구목적으로 대학발행 학술연구 정보에 대한 수집, 관리, 유통체제가 네트워크를 통해 체계적 이루어질 수 있도록 제반 제도를 연구하며, 차세대 전자출판 기반의 학술정보유통 및 디지털 도서관 구축에 필요한 기본 방향을 제시하여, 현행 학술정보 생산 및 유통체제를 바탕으로 전자출판이라는 새로운 패러다임에서의 제도 구현을 위한 단계적 제도 개선 수행 계획과 구체적인 추진 전략을 수립하는데 있다.

교무업무시스템의 기록관리 기능 분석 - 학교생활기록부를 중심으로 - (A Functional Analysis of NEIS School Affairs Business System : From the Records Management Perspective)

  • 정보통신기술의 급속한 발전은 행정에 대한 국민의 참여 욕구와 다양하고 신속한 행정서비스 욕구의 증대로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요청에 부응하여 교육과학기술부에서는 '전국단위 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS : National Education Information System-이하 NEIS)'을 구축하여 국민에 대한 서비스 제공과 교육행정의 생산성과 투명성을 높이기 위하여 노력하고 있다. 2003년부터 본격적으로 운영하게 된 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS)은 16개 시 도교육청 및 교육과학기술부에 시스템을 구축하고 모든 교육행정기관 및 초 중등학교를 인터넷으로 연결하였다. 그러나 교육행정정보시스템(NEIS)은 개인 정보 유출에 대한 우려와 관련 법규의 미정비에 대한 불법성, 보안 문제 등 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있다. NEIS 교무업무시스템은 학교생활기록부를 비롯하여 학생들의 개인 신상정보와 성적 등 준영구 이상의 중요 기록물을 전자적 방식으로 다량 생산하고 있다. 그러나 이렇게 생산된 기록물은 각 시 도교육청 DB에 축적되어져 있는 상태이며 전자기록물로 생산되고는 있으나 이를 장기적으로 활용 보존할 수 있는 정책이 마련되어있지 못한 상태이다. 따라서 NEIS 교무업무시스템을 통하여 전자적으로 생산되는 기록물 중 학교생활기록부의 기록 관리과정을 ISO15489에 따라 비교 분석해 봄으로서 기록물의 4대 속성이 보장될 수 있는 기록물 관리 방안을 제시해보고자 한다.

산업장 안전보건교육 관리요인 (Management Factors Associated with Health and Safety Education in Korean Manufacturing Companies)

  • Objectives: Safety is a primary health promotion issue in worksite because injury induces multi-fold loss of the human and economic resources to profit organization. The purposes of this study were to describe worksite health and safety education and management status in Korean manufacturing companies. Methods: The original population size of Korean manufacturing industry in 2004 was 74,398 and 2,960 factories were selected by the multiple stratified sampling method for this study. The health and safety manager or representatives of the selected 2,960 companies successfully finished in the face-to-face interview survey about company's general characteristics, health and safety management style, health and safety education hours conducted by the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Results: The manufacturing companies in Seoul and Kyunggi areas, small size, and clothes and press industries were related to low health and safety management and education status. The companies which assigned at least one safety manager were 70.5% and which had a health and safety room within the company were only 9.3%. The companies which took the health and safety education for their regular blue-collar employees more than the legal education hours were under 56.1% and the percentage of the companies which took their health and safety education for newcomers less than the legal limits was lower than any other types of health and safety education in workplace. The significant strong workplace health and safety management variables in predicting employee health and safety education were psycho-social variables such as the company own health and safety regulation and the workplace health and safety management committee organization. rather than physical variables such as health manager employment, safety manager employment. Conclusions: Systematic and legal approaches are effective to encourage workplace health and safety education, specifically, through sustaining health and safety managers and building the company-wide health and safety management system. Furthermore, theses approaches should primarily focus on the small companies of which sizes were under 50.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate into the practical cases of social marketing and to seek the practical strategy in fashion business. These practical cases were investigated through theses, professional books, fashion magazines, fashion newspapers, daily newspapers and web site, etc. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The social marketing by decision-making is able to practice and to set up a strategy in consumerism, humanism and environmentalism. 2. The social marketing by feedforward is able to practice and to set up a strategy in business strategy and product strategy. 3. The social marketing by administrative is able to practice and to set up a strategy in product development, price decision, distribution management and advertisement & promotion. 4. The social marketing by total system is able to practice and to set up a strategy in marketing planning and self-audits system.

간호교육 개선을 위한 간호대학생의 스트레스 관련 문헌 분석 (A Review Study on Nursing Students' Stress for Improvement of Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review articles and theses on Korean nursing students' stress, identifying overall research trends regarding such stress and suggesting strategies for stress management and nursing education system. Methods: The subjects for this study were 31 articles selected from three databases according to specific inclusion criteria. Results: Twenty-seven articles described survey research and four articles reported on experiments. Twenty-two studies related to stress from clinical practice among nursing students. Thirty-one articles reported on 40 regions and 44 colleges. Seventeen types of tools were used to measure nursing students' stress. The reported reliability of tools ranged from .76 to .96, and the mean score for nursing students' stress fell between 1.98 and 3.95. Conclusion: The findings from this review article indicate that nursing students exhibit different levels of stress as a result of school. Thus, they must learn to cope with stress to support their physical and psychological health. Moreover, finding ways to help student nurses handle job-related stress will require research related to the overall school, the curriculum, learning, and the life of nursing students, as well as stress intervention.
