The Investigation Research of Mathematics Classroom Questioning in Junior High School

  • Through quantitative analysis of two math classroom videos, combined with the relationship between types of teachers' questioning and students' answering, it is concluded the following problems are in the mathematics classroom teaching: (1) The time of teachers' questioning is longer, the number is too much, with managerial questions and prompting questions is given priority to; (2) Teachers' questioning time is longer than students' answering time, comprehensive answer is more, creative answer is little; (3) In the classroom questioning, students' participation is low; and (4) There is a significant correlation between types of teachers' questioning and length of waiting time after questions. In response to these phenomena, we propose strategies as follows: pursuit of timeliness of classroom questioning, reducing inefficient questions, to increase efficient questions, adopting different waiting strategies for different questioning types, to mobilize students' thinking activities, and improving students' participation etc.

PPGIS(Public Participation GIS)에 기반한 참여형 경관진단모델의 개발 (Development of Landscape Diagnosis Model based on Public Participation GIS for Public Participation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도시경관계획에서 주민참여 증진을 위해 인터넷 환경 하에 운용 가능한 공공참여 GIS의 한 형태인 경관진단모델(Diagnosis Model of Landscape, 이하 DML)을 개발하는 것이다. 공공참여의 특성상, DML은 전문가뿐만 아니라 일반인도 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 직관적인 인터페이스를 제공해 준다. 구체적으로 DML은 크게 세 개의 맵 모듈로 구성되어 있는데, 사전정보 전달을 위한 조사맵(survey map), 공공 참여형 진단맵(DML), 그리고 도시경관의 경년변화에 따른 경관 이미지 비교분석과 저장매체로서의 이미지베이스맵(image-base map)을 근간으로 하고 있다. DML은 다양한 의견 수집뿐만 아니라 경관문제에 공공의 참여를 적극적으로 유도토록 하고 있다. 이상에서 개발된 DML의 유용성을 검정하기 위해 실험적으로 경남의 의령읍과 함양읍에 적용하여 운용해 본 결과, 본 모델이 참여형 경관진단모델로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

대학생의 시간관리가 자기효능감과 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Time Management on Self-Efficacy and Academic Achievement in College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of socio-demographic variables on time management and to investigate the effects of time management on self-efficacy and academic achievement in college students. The data were collected from 382 college students through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using frequency, percentile, and regression analysis with the SPSS program. College students' time management behavior was influenced by the social status of their families and by their participation in time management education. There were differences in variables affecting time management according to its sub-areas (planning, regular habits, and goal-oriented behavior). Planning was influenced by the students' majors and by their participation in time management education. Regular habits were influenced by the students' genders and their families' social status. No variables affected goal-oriented behavior. Time management (especially planning and goal-oriented behavior) and gender had strong effects on self-efficacy, and male students showed more self-efficacious behavior than their female counterparts. Time management (especially planning and regular habits) and gender had strong effects on academic achievement, and female students received higher academic grades than their male counterparts. Based on these results, time management was confirmed as an influential element in self-efficacy and academic achievement. Planning and goal-oriented behavior particularly influenced self-efficacy, and planning and regular habits particularly influenced academic achievement.

저소득층의 평생교육 참여 실태와 요구 분석 (Analysis of Status and Demand of Participation in Lifelong Education of Low-Income Class)

  • 본 연구는 국민기초생활 보장법에 따라 저소득층으로 분류된 지역민 218명을 대상으로 평생교육 참여 실태와 요구를 분석하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생교육의 참여 실태 중, 저소득층의 학습역량을 살펴보면, 외국어 사용 능력 95.3%, ICT 활용 역량 66.1%, 컴퓨터 활용 능력 75.7%로 사용 및 활용하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 저소득층의 평생교육 참여율은 75.7%로 나타났으며 이를 수동적인 교육 참여로 보고 자발적 참여를 구별하여 분석한 결과, 실질적인 평생교육 참여율은 22.9%로 매우 저조하게 나타났다. 평생교육 참여여부에 따른 사회참여 및 인식은 참여경험이 있는 응답자가 참여경험이 없는 응답자보다 전반적으로 43.3% 높게 나타났으며, 특히 자발적인 참여자가 참여경험이 없는 응답자보다 73.3%나 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 저소득층의 평생교육에 대한 요구를 분석한 결과, 희망 교육프로그램이 있는지에 대해 응답자 중 74.8%가 없다고 응답하였다. 그리고 시간이 없어서 참여하지 못하는 경우가 50.0%로 가장 많았으며, 참여를 희망하는 프로그램에는 가정생활, 건강 및 의료강좌, 전문 자격 취득과정 등 실생활에 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램을 희망하였다. 이는 소득 수준이 평생교육 참여에 크게 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 본 연구 결과를 분석한바, 현재 한국의 평생교육이 강조되고 그에 따른 참여율도 급증하고 있지만, 저소득층의 평생교육 참여는 저조하게 나타나고 있다.

요트참가자들의 기본심리욕구와 운동참가동기 및 지속적 참여 의도의 구조모형 검증 (Structure-Model Verification of Yacht Participants' Motivation, Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Intentions of Persistent Participation)

  • 본 연구는 이론적 근거를 통해 요트참가자들의 운동참가동기와 기본심리욕구 및 운동에 대한 지속적 참여의도의 구조모형을 설정하고 설정한 모형을 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 선행연구에서 운동참가동기와 기본 심리욕구는 생활체육참가자의 활동지속의도에 매우 관여적인 변인으로 보고되고 있다. 이를 위해 요트동호회 회원과 대학요트동아리 회원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 총 267부의 자료를 분석에 이용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 12.0과 AMOS 7.0을 사용하여 연구목적에 따라 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, 공변량구조모형 분석을 적용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 요트참가자들의 기본심리욕구, 참가동기 및 지속적 참여의도는 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 요트참가자의 기본 심리욕구는 지속적 참여의도에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었고 동시에 참가동기를 매개로 간접 영향도 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 참가동기는 지속적 참여의도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 넷째, 본 연구에서 제시한 요트참가자의 운동참가동기와 기본심리욕구 및 지속적 참여의도의 구조방정식모델은 통계적으로 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

세대별 기혼남성의 가사노동시간 연구: 베이비붐세대, X세대, Y세대를 중심으로 (A Study on Household Labor Time of Married Men by Generation -For the Baby Boom generation, Generation X, and Generation Y-)

  • 본 연구는 기혼 남성의 가사노동참여 양상의 변화를 파악하기 위해 남성의 가사노동시간의 영향 요인을 세대별로 파악하는 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 기혼남성을 베이비붐세대, X세대, Y세대로 구분하고, 각 세대별 가사노동참여 요인을 가사노동 참여가설을 적용시켜 분석해 보았다. 자료는 통계청 '2019년 생활시간조사' 원자료를 사용하였다. 기혼남성의 가사노동시간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 다항로지스틱 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 베이비붐세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 경제적 효율성가설과 성역할태도가설, 요구반응가능성가설에 의해 설명이 가능하고, X세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 경제적 효율성가설, 성역할태도가설, 시간가용성가설, 요구반응가능성가설 모두에 의해 설명이 가능하였다. 반면, Y세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 시간가용성가설과 요구반응가능성가설에 의해서만 설명이 가능하였다. 세대별로 가사노동참여의 동인이 다르다는 사실은 남성 대상 일가정양립지원 정책수립에 있어 세대별 특성을 고려해야 한다는 점을 시사해준다.

근린 체육활동시설이 운동시간과 주관적 건강 수준에 미치는 영향 분석 - 국민생활체육참여실태조사(2013~2015) 자료를 중심으로 - (The Impacts of Neighborhood Sport Activity Facility on Exercise Time and Subjective Health Level - Focused on the National Sport Participation Survey (2013-2015) in Seoul, Korea -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of neighborhood sports activity facilities on the exercise time and subjective health level using the National Sport Participation Survey data(2013-2015) in Seoul, Korea. We conducted path analysis including exercise time, subjective health level and various environmental factors. From the survey data, we extracted individual's characteristics including subjective health and exercise time. In addition, we calculated physical environment variables of neighborhood units. The results of this study are as follow. First, most of moderating variables such as gender, age, income and job showed expected relationships with exercise time or subjective health level. Second, the perceived level regarding neighborhood sports facilities such as public sports facilities had a strong positive association with exercise time and subjective health level. Third, the area of public sports facility, neighborhood park and the number of schools had positive effects on the exercise time and subjective health level. Lastly, land use mix and the number of intersections showed a positive effects on exercise time. To sum up, the results indicated that public sports facility, neighborhood park and perceived environment on neighborhood sports facility are critical factors of residents' exercise time and subjective health level.

공동주택의 관리활동에 대한 거주자 의식 연구 - 에너지절약 의식 및 태도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Residents' Opinion to the Management of Apartment)

  • Managing apartments is critical not only to handling the physical deterioration over time, but also to the quality of community life, social environment and ultimately residents' satisfaction with the housing environment. Therefore, this study aims at understanding residents' awareness of apartment management, and finding the relationship between management activities and residents' satisfaction and participation by comparing an apartment with active management and an apartment without it. This study examines 1) management activities of two subject apartment complexes, and 2) how management activities affect residents' participation and satisfaction. Surveys were conducted of the residents, and SPSS statistics package was utilized to analyze the survey data. This study found that management activities of apartment complex have positive influence on residents' participation and satisfaction with their housing environment. The results of this study can be utilized as basic materials to develop effective guidelines and manual from the perspective of environmental management of apartment houses, in order to improve the participation of the residents in the apartment management.

집단면접조사를 통한 아버지 학교참여 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Fathers' School Involvement Through the Use of Focus Group Interviews)

  • Parents are one of the principal agents of education along with students and teachers. The father, who is also a member of the educational community, plays a role in and has responsibility for his children's education. But, in Korea, as mothers are largely responsible for the children's care and education, fathers' school involvement has not been treated as a research subject. However, changes in family structure and function have challenged the notion of the father's traditional role. Recently, the father who participates actively in the rearing and education of his child has emerged as a new trend of the father model. It has been proven through many studies that the father's involvement has unique positive effects on his children, a phenomenon known as the "father effect". This research investigates the father's school involvement through focus group interviews with fathers. The results showed that the father's school participation rate was not high, while the father's desire for school participation was very high. These results are explained by the situation of fathers having no time or pathway to participate in their children's school. In order to enable fathers' participation, leave for school participation needs to be implemented and the development of fathers' activities is necessary. A father education program is needed to bring about changes resulting in fathers' greater participation in their children's education. This study suggests policy implications for supporting fathers' school involvement.

임상전단계실습 교과목의 개설시기 및 치과경험에 따른 참여태도, 스트레스, 만족도 분석 (Analysis of the relationship of the time of offering pre-clinical practicums and dental experience to participation attitude, stress and satisfaction)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the participation attitude of students toward pre-clinical practicums, their satisfaction with the practicums and related stress, and to investigate the influential factors for their participation attitude to practicums. Methods : The subjects in this study were three different groups of students who took pre-clinical practicums at different times. One group of students who entered college in 2008 took a practicum in December, 2009, and another group of students who entered college in 2009 took a practicum in June, 2010. The third group of students who entered college in 2010 took a practicum in June, 2011. Results : 1. As for participation attitude, the students who completed a practicum before they underwent field training in the second semester of their sophomore year got a higher mark of 3.44(p<0.05). 2 Concerning the operation of practicum, they felt a lot of stress when they took a practicum before they underwent field training in the first semester of their sophomore year and when they had no dental experience(p<0.001). 3. Regarding satisfaction with practicum, they scored higher when they took a practicum before they underwent field training in the second semester of their sophomore year(p<0.05). And the students who were more gratified with dental experience expressed better satisfaction(p<0.001). 4. As to the influential factors for the participation attitude of the students, those who were more satisfied with the content of practicum, the operation of practicum and evaluation took a more positive participation attitude(p<0.001). More stress about the operation of practicum and more stress about evaluation exerted a greater negative influence on participation attitude(p<0.05). Conclusions : Given the findings of the study, a pre-clinical practicum should be offered before field training is provided in the second semester of the sophomore year in order to ensure the efficiency of education, and a wide variety of information should be offered so that students could gain dental experience before they take a practicum.
