  • There are many factors influence on the margin fitness of Casting body. Among them, I intend to examine the influence of the gap of temperature of investment's special liguid. As the result of investing and experiment of the whole of eighty copings under the classification the temperature of liquid into four groups 0$^{\circ}C$, 10$^{\circ}C$, 20$^{\circ}C$, 30$^{\circ}C$ I came to the conclusion as following. 1. The margin fitness of these four groups, as the result of examination with microscope, was the most accurate at 20$^{\circ}C$ was less aceurate in order of 30$^{\circ}C$, 10$^{\circ}C$, 0$^{\circ}C$. 2. directions is the way to preserve the most exact margin fitness.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal fitness between Ni-Cr alloy and type III gold alloy, according to two finishing line, chamfer and shoulder. As experimental materials, author selected type III gold alloy and Ni-Cr alloy (Hicrown) which were popularly used in Korea for the full cast crown. Author prepared the wax patterns with milled stainless steel die and ring. The wax patterns were invested, burnouted, and casted. The maginal discrepancy was measured with scanning electron microscope. Author obtained the following results from this study. 1. The maginal fitness of Type III gold alloy was not significantly different from that of Ni-Cr alloy (Hi-crown). 2. There is no significant difference between chamfer and shoulder in case of Type III gold alloy. 3. The maginal fitness of chamfer type is significantly superior to that of shoulder type in the Ni-Cr alloy (Hi-Crown).

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results selected one somatotype. for the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body, there dimensional clothing shapes measured. and cross-sectional clothing shape obtained by the measurement was considered to be space wave form. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form, and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. • A statistical method was developed to examine the US navy women's sizing system. Subjects including 906 navy female personnels were classified into seven groups based on the body type. Regression analyses were performed within seven groups to determine the sizing system maximizing the fitness of clothing in each group. New parameters were developed and used to statistically investigate the fitness level based upon boty navy sizing system and regression based system in this study. A customizef SAS program was used to compute the fitness levels. Results indicated that the navy sizing system showed lower fitness level in most groups except Juniour than the regression based system. It was concluded that the current method with new parameters could be used as an objective tool to evaluate the existing or new sizing system. This method can be further validated in other sample populations.

  • Purpose Wearable devices are widely used in our daily life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between persuasive designs of fitness trackers and users' physical activity behavior. Methods To test the research model, data was collected from a web-based survey in China, resulting in an effective sample of 166 usable questionnaires. The survey was restricted only to respondents who wear a fitness tracker. Results The sample surveyed in this study indicated that half of the respondents had been wearing a smart fitness tracker shorter than one year, and only 27% were long-time users (longer than two years). Dialogue support and social support strategies were both proved to be effective in increasing users' workout behavior intention. Social support strategies had a greater effect on behavior change than dialogue support strategies. Conclusion The findings from this study make several contributions to the practice. Wearable devices developers can employ the result from this study to help them design devices, which can persuade people to do more exercises and preserve a healthier life.

  • An effective integrity evaluation system is essential to manage the fitness for service issues on infra-structure because the evaluation processes usually take long times and are detrimental for productivity point of view. In this paper, the key structures and procedures of four integrity evaluation programs which have been developed based on currently available codes and standards are described. The proposed programs are not only flexible to adopt advances in fitness for purpose type assessment methodologies but also convenient for field engineers. The developed programs which will be unified as an integrity evaluation system are expected to play a prominent role for integrity evaluation of major infra-structure.

  • Fitness sharing that shares fitness if calculated distance between individuals is smaller than sharing radius is one of the representative speciation methods and can complement evolutionary algorithm which converges one solution. Recently, there are many researches on designing neural network architecture using evolutionary algorithm but most of them use only the fittest solution in the last generation. In this paper, we elaborate generating diverse neural networks using fitness sharing and combing them to compute outputs then, propose calculating distance between individuals using modified Kullback-Leibler entropy for improvement of fitness sharing performance. In the experiment of Australian credit card assessment, breast cancer, and diabetes in UCI database, proposed method performs better than not only simple average output or Pearson Correlation but also previous published methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the fitness and its problems related in clothing fitness and to get basic data to develop fit ready-to-wear garment, total 352 subjects were surveyed during the period of November, 1998. The major results of this study were as follows ; 1. Both men and women felt fitter in upper clothes than lower clothes. As compared with women, men became more aware of proper fit except coat. 2. Men had lest fitting problems in blouse and shirts while women in coat. Also, the clothes stated which had most fitting problems were trousers by men and women. 3. A variety of fitting problems in ready-to wear garments were identified including sleeve length, skirt length, and pants length. 4. The most frequent alterations were shortening or lengthen of skirt and pants.

  • ERP implementations are known to be unusually difficult, even when compared to other large-scale systems developing in a firm level, because it requires a substantial investment of time, money, and internal resources. Moreover, medium and small-sized enterprises that are increasingly adopting ERP feel much difficult due to the lack of resources. To promote the spread of ERP in medium and small-sized enterprises, "ERP template standardization methodology" led by government has been used for constructing ERP system in Korea. In this study, we present a study to measure fitness between ERP standard templates and business processes of 10 small enterprises in 5 industries. Also, we define a fitness measure suitable for this purpose. We car find that ERP template standardization methodology is partly adequate to establish ERP systems and it is required to add to templates which support the differences of business process.

  • We have developed MSPF (measurement system for physical fitness) which measures physical strength and body dimensions. This system has two main features, one is an automatic measurement of physical fitness, and the other is reducement of reading and writing errors caused by human during measurement. Using the MSPF, total ten items can be measured such as weight, height, sit up, push up,. etc. Since the system which have objectification and high precision has been needed, we used a memory card. By using this, it was easy to save and archive data by computer.
