그림책은 글과 일러스트레이션으로 구성되어 상호유기적인 관계를 형성하며 이야기를 전개해 나가는 예술형식이다. 그림책에서 글과 일러스트레이션이 전달하는 의미뿐 만 아니라 상호작용을 통해 새롭게 만들어 내는 상징적 의미를 이해한다면 그림책을 보는 즐거움과 가치를 깨닫게 될 것이다. 그림책의 글과 일러스트레이션을 불가분의 관계에 놓인 하나의 단위로 보고 기호학적으로 분석하는 것은 그림책 이해에 중요한 관점을 제공한다. 세계적인 그림책 작가 앤서니 브라운(Anthony Browne)의 '고릴라'를 기호학자 그레마스(A.J. Greimas)의 의미작용 이론을 통해서 글과 일러스트레이션의 상호보완작용을 이해한다. 또한, 텍스트와 조형표현의 구조적 관계를 심층적으로 분석하고 통합적으로 전달되는 이야기를 새로운 관점으로 접근한다. 기존의 연구들에서 앤서니 브라운의 '고릴라'는 주인공 한나와 아빠의 관계를 단순한 외로움으로 전체 이야기 의미를 해석하였지만, 본 연구를 통해 그 관계에 있어 부성애뿐 만 아니라 이성애가 존재하며 그 갈등의 해소가 주된 관점으로 새롭게 해석될 수 있다.

Correlations between "The Book of Changes" and medicine originate from the first publication of the book. Korean Traditional Medicine is no exception in following this tendency of making connections between the two fields. A Chinese medical text, "의학정전" is the most frequently cited text in a Korean medical text "Euirimchalyo". Upon examining the two texts focusing on the 종창, 임폐문 that discusses 비괘, it could be seen that Euirimchalyo edited out the philosophical contents of 의학정전 as much as possible. Thus, on examination of the text, it can be concluded that 의림촬요 takes no part in the Korean history of medical philosophy. This indicates that 의림촬요 is a medical text that purses practicality and efficiency though selectively summarizing.

Recently, with the activation of eBook services, books are being published simultaneously as physical books and digitized eBooks. Paper books are more expensive than e-books due to printing and distribution costs, so demand for relatively inexpensive e-books is increasing. There are cases where previously published physical books cannot be digitized due to the circumstances of the publisher or author, so there is a movement among individual users to digitize books that have been published for a long time. However, existing research has only studied the advancement of the pre-processing process that can improve text recognition before applying OCR technology, and there are limitations to digitization depending on the condition of the book. Therefore, support for book digitization services depending on the condition of the physical book is needed. need. In this paper, we propose a method to support digitalization services according to the status of physical books held by book owners. Create images by scanning books and extract text information from the images through OCR. We propose a method to recover text that cannot be extracted depending on the state of the book using BERT, a natural language processing deep learning model. As a result, it was confirmed that the recovery method using BERT is superior when compared to RNN, which is widely used in recommendation technology.

For the last few years, smart devices have begun to occupy an essential place in the life of children, by allowing them to access a variety of language activities and books. Various studies are being conducted on using smart devices for education. Our study extracts images and texts from kids' book with smart devices and matches the extracted images and texts to create new images that are not represented in these books. The proposed system will enable the use of smart devices as educational media for children. A deep convolutional generative adversarial network (DCGAN) is used for generating a new image. Three steps are involved in training DCGAN. Firstly, images with 11 titles and 1,164 images on ImageNet are learned. Secondly, Tesseract, an optical character recognition engine, is used to extract images and text from kids' book and classify the text using a morpheme analyzer. Thirdly, the classified word class is matched with the latent vector of the image. The learned DCGAN creates an image associated with the text.

2007년 수학 교과서의 공교육 최초 디지털 교과서 적용을 시작으로 영어, 과학 등 다양한 분야에 디지털 교과서를 활용한 교육이 실시되고 있다. 초반에 아날로그 형식의 종이 교과서를 그대로 스캔하여서 사용했던 수준을 넘어 이제는 디지털 교과서만을 위한 전문화된 디자인 및 콘텐츠가 기획 단계부터 실시되어 적용되고 있으며 국립 교과서 및 검정 교과서에서도 엄체 경쟁을 통해서 보다 수준 높은 디자인 및 콘텐츠를 엄선하고 있다. 그러나 이는 디지털 교과서 하나의 매체에 국한된 것이며 국외 교육 선진국의 다양한 디지털 교육매체의 활용에는 뒤쳐져 있는 게 현실이다. 이에 본 연구는 LG 전자 유럽 디자인센터를 기점으로 영국 및 스웨덴의 선진 교육을 통해 디지털 교육매체를 수년간 접하여 이에 따른 사용자 경험과 니즈가 쌓인 사용자들을 타겟으로 휴리스틱 분석, 설문 등의 사용자 조사를 실시한다. 이에 교육 주체의 디지털 교과서 디자인의 니즈를 대입하여 세분화한 후 이를 현재 영국 및 스웨덴 선진국에서 사용하고 있는 디지털 교육매체 디자인에 간단하게 접목시켜본다. 디지털 교과서만을 접한 국내 사용자의 니즈와 사용자 경험에 비교한 결과 설문타겟 사용자들은 상당히 수준 높고 현실적이며 교육의 개별화에 치중하는 사용자 니즈(customer needs) 즉 사용자들이 원하는 것을 보여주고 있었으며 이는 디지털 매체가 적응해 나가는 초기 적용단계의 요구사항에서는 볼 수 없던 것이다. 본 논문의 결과는 선진국의 설문 조사를 통한 사용자들의 요구 즉 니즈를 파악하고 이를 적용한 디자인 교육매체의 동향을 파악하는데 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 단순히 예쁘고 화려하며 디지털화 하는데서 만족하는 게 아니라 디지털 교육매체 디자인의 사용자 요구의 방향성을 미리 파악하고 이를 기획 단계부터 적용하여 교육 선진국과의 사용자 편의성의 차이를 줄이는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

이 연구의 목적은 발명 특허 특성화 고등학교의 심화단계에서 사용될 '발명과 문제해결' 교재를 개발하기 위하여 교재의 내용과 집필 방향을 도출하고 이에 대한 타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 교재 내용과 집필 방향 개발을 위하여 문헌 연구와 전문가협의회를 거쳤으며 개발된 교재 내용과 집필 방향에 대한 타당도 검증을 위하여 조사 연구를 실시하였다. 타당도 검증을 위한 조사연구는 특허청 국제지식재산연수원의 발명 지도자 연수 과정에 참여한 교사 75명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 집필 방향과 교재의 각 영역, 주제, 모듈에 대한 타당도 조사를 위하여 선택형 문항과 기타 의견을 진술할 수 있는 개방형 문항으로 구성한 설문지를 개발하였으며 교재 내용에 대한 이해를 돕기 위하여 집필계획서를 설문지에 포함하였다. 타당도 조사 분석 결과를 바탕으로 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, '발명과 문제해결'의 각 주제와 모듈은 발명 특허 특성화고등학교 심화단계 공통교재로서 타당하게 개발되었다. 둘째, '발명과 문제해결'의 집필방향은 탐구능력과 창의적 사고력 증진을 강조하고 있으며 비판적 사고력 증진과 논리적 사고력, 그리고 문제해결능력 신장에 도움이 될 수 있도록 타당하게 개발되었다.

Most of online bookstores are providing a user with the bibliographic book information rather than the concrete information such as thematic words and atmosphere. Especially, thematic words help a user to understand books and cast a wide net. In this paper, we propose an efficient extraction method of thematic words from book text by applying the compound noun and noun phrase synthetic method. The compound nouns represent the characteristics of a book in more detail than single nouns. The proposed method extracts the thematic word from book text by recognizing two types of noun phrases, such as a single noun and a compound noun combined with single nouns. The recognized single nouns, compound nouns, and noun phrases are calculated through TF-IDF weights and extracted as main words. In addition, this paper suggests a method to calculate the frequency of subject, object, and other roles separately, not just the sum of the frequencies of all nouns in the TF-IDF calculation method. Experiments is carried out in the field of economic management, and thematic word extraction verification is conducted through survey and book search. Thus, 9 out of the 10 experimental results used in this study indicate that the thematic word extracted by the proposed method is more effective in understanding the content. Also, it is confirmed that the thematic word extracted by the proposed method has a better book search result.

Objectives : Previous research on texts specializing in acupuncture and moxibustion in Korea have mostly been focused on those written in the Joseon period, leaving an academic void in the modern and contemporary eras. This research on the "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was undertaken to help readers' understanding of the text and to provide basic material for further research on modern-contemporary education of acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods : The original text of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was examined along with books and news articles on related people. Information that was difficult to obtain through written documents was supplemented by interviews with people who knew about the situation at the time. The findings were organized as 1) the author and related people and 2) introduction of "Yeongsochimgugyeong". Results and Conclusions : The original text of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was written by teacher Jeon, Gwangok, interpreted and annotated by his disciple Gwon, Yeongjun. It is presumed that they wrote this book as educators of Korean medicine for educational purposes on acupuncture and moxibustion before and after the Japanese colonial era. The book is consisted of an overview of meridianology, details on points and meridians, supplementing and draining methods, similar to the current text book. The contents and expressions of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" reflect the state of acupuncture and moxibustion education of the early and mid $20^{th}$ century, making it a valuable resource.

We evaluated the usability of two kinds types of recently commercialized e-books through an analysis of their protocols, compared the time required to read an e-book with that for a paper book, and compared text display sizes that were easy to read for aged and young readers, under identical conditions. This showed clear problems with the usability of e-books for aged and young readers. It was found that it took longer for aged readers to read text in an e-book than for young readers, and that the size of text that aged readers found easy to read was different than for young readers.

본 연구는 Greimas 기호학적 방법을 사용하여 그림책 "누가 내 머리에 똥 쌌어?"에 내포된 심층의미를 분석한 후 텍스트에서 생성된 의미가 아동발달과 연관성이 있는가를 탐색하고자 하였다. 텍스트에 내재된 심층의미를 분석한 결과 사회적으로 바람직하다 인정된 배변규범이 전제되었으며, 배변규범을 준수하는 과정에 발생하는 갈등과 불안과 심리적 안정을 제공하는 내용을 담고 있었다. 또한 의미생성과정인 기호작용과 인지발달이 유사한 맥락이 있는가를 확인하기 위해 기호사각형 모델을 적용하여 그림책의 의미생성과정을 분석하였을 때 사고의 확장을 가능하게 하는 의미가 생성됨을 확인하였다. 이는 Piaget의 인지발달 주요개념인 도식, 동화, 조절이라는 의미와 같은 맥락이라 보았다. 따라서 연구 텍스트는 배변과 관련하여 심리적인 측면과 인지적인 측면에서 아동의 발달과 연관성이 있는 내용을 내포하고 있음을 확인하였다.
