A Study on the ACC Safety Evaluation Method Using Dual Cameras (듀얼카메라를 활용한 ACC 안전성 평가 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, as interest in self-driving cars has increased worldwide, research and development on the Advanced Driver Assist System is actively underway. Among them, the purpose of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is to minimize the driver's driving fatigue through the control of the vehicle's longitudinal speed and relative distance. In this study, for the research of the ACC test in the real environment, the real-road test was conducted based on domestic-road test scenario proposed in preceding study, considering ISO 15622 test method. In this case, the distance measurement method using the dual camera was verified by comparing and analyzing the result of using the dual camera and the result of using the measurement equipment. As a result of the comparison, two results could be derived. First, the relative distance after stabilizing the ACC was compared. As a result of the comparison, it was found that the minimum error rate was 0.251% in the first test of scenario 8 and the maximum error rate was 4.202% in the third test of scenario 9. Second, the result of the same time was compared. As a result of the comparison, it was found that the minimum error rate was 0.000% in the second test of scenario 10 and the maximum error rate was 9.945% in the second test of scenario 1. However, the average error rate for all scenarios was within 3%. It was determined that the representative cause of the maximum error occurred in the dual camera installed in the test vehicle. There were problems such as shaking caused by road surface vibration and air resistance during driving, changes in ambient brightness, and the process of focusing the video. Accordingly, it was determined that the result of calculating the distance to the preceding vehicle in the image where the problem occurred was incorrect. In the development stage of ADAS such as ACC, it is judged that only dual cameras can reduce the cost burden according to the above derivation of test results.

The Effects of Herb Aroma Components on the Reduction of Depression - Focused on University Students -

  • In this study, to investigate the effects of herb aroma components, the BDI test was performed with the 124 students of the Youngdong University and the subjects whose score was 16 or higher were selected and allocated to the herb-extracted aroma-treated group and the non-treated group, 27 and 10 students for each group. The BDI and SDS tests were carried out at each stage (before and after the treatment, 10 days later and 30 days later). The result showed that the pre-treatment BDI test result was significantly different from all those of the post-treatment test, and the tests after 10 days and 30 days in the aroma-treated group. In the SDS test, the pre-treatment test result was significantly different from the results of the post-treatment test and the test after 10 days, while it was not significantly different from the result of the test after 30 days. Additionally, to verify whether the change within the group is larger than that by natural recovery or not, ANCOVA was performed with respect to the difference in the pre-treatment test score between the groups depending on whether the treatment was given or not, having the SDS pre-treatment score as the covariate, and the result showed that the post-treatment test scores were significantly different. Thus, it was verified that, if the SDS test score is considered as the depression indicator, the effect of aromatherapy was greater than the change by natural recovery. The difference in the post-treatment test score was analyzed depending on whether the treatment was given or not, having the BDI pre-treatment test score as the control variable, and the result showed that the post-treatment test scores were not significantly different. Based on such a theoretical verification, it is assumed that the nature-friendly treatment method using herb aroma components can be a great help in suppressing depression. Therefore, it is expected that herb aroma components can provide systematic therapeutic effect on the suppression of depression.

The Research on the Skin Type Test of $20{\sim}30's$ Women -Focused on the Reliability of Skin Type Test Questionnaires- ($20{\sim}30$대 여성의 피부 타입 측정에 관한 연구 -국내.외 화장품 회사의 피부 측정방법의 비교를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the skin type of $20{\sim}30’s$ women that use skin type test paper of cosmetic companies and usual using condition for the cosmetics. The result is as follows; The research target is $20{\sim}30’s$ woman in Seoul area, around capital city area and Geonra province, we surveyed the difference among the group, after dividing the groups with job, monthly income. As the result of research on the usual using cosmetics and cleansing products, $20{\sim}30’s$ woman mostly have toilet water, lotion and foam type cleansing product and use them. As the result of consciousness of skin type combination skin type is 46.1%, dry skin type is 23%, oily skin type is 15%, sensitive skin type is 9%, normal skin type is 7%. To compare results of skin type test paper of cosmetics companies with consciousness of skin type, result of skin type test paper of cosmetics companies was different consciousness of skin type. The result of skin type test paper of B company is same as consciousness of skin type is 31.2% and this result among cosmetics companies was appeared high ratio. Among the results from 3 companies, the rate that all result for 1 person's skin type are accord, is just 8%. 2 companies among them have matching rate of 42%. Most of all, each results of skin type test paper of cosmetics companies was appeared difference. This result show the problem of objectivity about skin type test paper of cosmetics companies that they using it.

Effect of a Intentional Scapular Abduction on the Sit-and-Reach Test (의도적인 견갑골 외전이 Sit-and-Reach Test에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : This study was done to examine the actual effect of the scapular position in these flexibility tests. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences between the measurement of SRT(Sit-and-Reach Test) without intentional abduction of the scapular (pre-test) and with intentional abduction of the scapular (post-test). The hypothesis is: 1. There is no differences in the SRT result of the pre-test and the post-test. 2. There is no differences in the HJA(Hip Joint Angle) result of the pre-test and the post-test. 3. There is no differences in the Spine Motion Test(SMT) result of the pre-test and the post-test. Method : The total 60 people (30 men, 30 women) were participated in this study. In the pre-test, the subjects were asked to sit on the examination table and try the SRT motion; and then the HJA, SRT and the SMT numerical values were taken. In the post-test. the subjects were instructed to intentionally bring the scapula outward from the midline; and the HJA, SRT and the SMT numerical values were taken. Result : In the pre-test. the SRT result averaged 34.17cm. and in the post-test. the SRT result averaged 36.68cm. The difference was about 2.81cm which showed a significant mean statistically (p<0.01). The measurement increased by 8.22%. The HJA was $85.9^{\circ}$ in pre-test, and it was $85.5^{\circ}$ in post-test. giving the $0.4^{\circ}$ differences. Therefore, it didn't have a statistical mean (p>0.05). The SMT value was 69.56cm in the pre-test. and it was 69.28cm in the post-test, about 0.28cm decreased. Therefore, it didn't have a statistical mean (p>0.05). SRT values and HJA values were correlated (p<0.01). SMT values and SRT values (p<0.01), and SMT values and HJA values(p<0.05) were each in counter correlation. Conclusion : The result of the SRT without intentional scapular abduction (34.17cm) and with intentional scapular abduction (36.68cm) showed a significant increase about 8.22% (p<0.01). In SRT, the effect of the intentional scapular abduction on SMT showed no significant means, the pretest value being 69.56cm and the post-test value being 69.28cm (p>0.05).

Preparation and Erosion Properties of Reaction-Bonded SiC Reinforced by Carbon Fiber (탄소섬유로 강화된 반응소결 SiC 제조 및 Erosion 특성)

  • Three kinds of reation-bonded SiC that reaction-bonded SiC(RBSC), RBSC reinforced by carbon fiber and RBSC reinforced by activated carbon fiber were prepared for investigating the change of erosion properties. The characteristics of microstructures and the phases have been investigated by using scanning electron microscope and XRD analysis. The hardness test, toughness test and erosion test were camed out. In the cases with no carbon fiber, those kind of specimens had the highest result of hardness test and the lowest result of toughness test. With the increase of carbon fiber content, The hardness and the weight loss were decreased but the toughness was increased in the cases with carbon fiber In the cases with activated carbon fiber those specimens had the highest result of toughness test and the lowest result of hardness test with 30% contents of activated carbon fiber.

  • Deduction of compressive strength in concrete members is very important to decide stability of structures. In this study, we compare the compressive strength of concrete between nondestructive test done to the building which was to be demolished at residential reconstruction site and destructive test of core specimen from the site. The result is more reliable because ore can compare the measurement of nondestructive tell with the result from destructive test using drilled cores. Compressive strength of each material was calculated with the result of rebound number test. In addition, we performed ultrasonic test for another result of compressive strength. And we made a comparative study of compressive strength of concrete drawn from both nondestructive and destructive tests.

  • FMVSS226 Ejection Mitigation Impact Test is usually performed by real vehicle. But it is necessary to perform the test using by Reinforced B.I.W. with considering vehicle developing timing and roof rail airbag (RRAB) supplier capacity. We sometimes need tendency (quick data) instead of slow accurate data to fix RRAB design as proper timing. Test with Reinforced B.I.W. is helpful saving time and cost. But it should be confirmed how much different between vehicle conditioned test result and Reinforced B.I.W. conditioned test result. There are some points to be improved even in the test with vehicle. Understanding of deviation of Reinforced B.I.W. conditioned test result from vehicle conditioned test result is needed to get benefits with using Reinforced B.I.W. conditioned in the test.

  • So far, I Conducted an examination with focus on the type, characteristic, and test methods of impact test. which is a type of mechanical that evaluate materials. As mentioned previously, in testing soldering strength of soldering is the load when the object under experiment is broken down with the result of flexibility test or peel test. In this method, a hevay load is necessary until alloy of parent metal is bended, if the alloy of the parent metal has a large mechanical quality(peel strength or resisting power). Once the alloy of the parent metal is bended, however, it tends to come into pieces abruply form the part where soldered. Therefore, a metal has a high breakdown value if the degree of strength of its parent metal is high even if the result of measurement indicates otherwise. Thus, the result of the test did not correspond to the clinical result. Therefore, this study concludes as the following from a test of strength of soldering by mean of conducting an impact test, which is a type of mechanical evaluation methods : 1. Among various impact tests, a charpy thpe is more appropriate than the izod type in testing strength of soldering. 2. As far as test piece is concerned, to use subsized impact test piece is appropriate in the impact test in that it does not have notch. 3. In the matter of analysis, it is appropriate to measure absorbing energy which results from rupture of test piece.

  • Hospitals these days are trying to introduce the a practice has recently been generalized in the test or diagnosis process, where test results and images from different test labs are interlinked together. This process is identical to that of physical aspect in EMR process, which computerizes the paper results within the hospital. One of the prerequisites for the process of computerizing test results is the interface between clinical test devices in the test labs. However, due to the variety of prescription inputs, disparity of test result papers, complexity of job in test labs and diversify of interfaces among the different devices, interconnection with the hospital information system is a complicated job. A universal control of clinical test devices which have independent communication protocols has become possible by connecting them with an interface workstation. As for the patients, waiting time for test has been reduced, and, thanks to the synchronized result retrieval system, it has become possible to check the test results on the very day of the test. As a result, the length of hospitalization has been reduced, too. In terms of workflow, as the transfer of charts and transfer of result papers are separated, the embarrassing job of collecting result papers has disappeared. As patients' test appointment and the results processing can be made on-line, extra work for doctors have disappeared. And, thanks to the computerization of test results information management, the job of statistical processing has become convenient.

Comparison Between Simulation and Test Result of Sigma-Delta STAP (Sigma-Delta STAP의 시뮬레이션과 시험 결과 비교)

  • This paper compares the results of ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ applied to actual radar test data and simulation data. The radar received a target signal from a virtual target generator and the clutter signal from a signal generator in an anechoic chamber. The simulation data were generated from ideal baseband radar signal modeling using the same parameter as that for the test radar. The ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ results of the test and simulation data are similar in terms of the target signal shape and noise level. The SINR(Signal-to-Interfrence-plus-Noise Ratio) loss also had similar aspects, but the simulation result shows 1~2 dB higher SINR loss than the test result. This result verified that the simulation data can be a reasonable alternative test data when the ${\Sigma}{\Delta}-STAP$ is applied.
