  • A temporary work are lifting equipment that tower crane or lift, and temporary architectures that office building and storage in construction site. And it is main construction work that built and used temporarily like to a scaffolding, a walk plate, and a formwork. This study is to adjust breakdown structure of temporary work to introduce technical tendency. With a site manager, it is collected a detailed statement and compared. As a result to break down a tendency that temporary equipment, additional function, and direct work of temporary technique, first, existing detail technical indexes that group I, group J, group K, and group L are classified. Second, due to set up and manage to main agents in case of existing detail technical indexes that B1, B2, it is not wrong to classify. But, it is somewhat different, and therefore adjust it to same level. Finally, as a technical tendency that temporary equipment, additional function, and direct work of temporary technique, it is adjusted the others.

  • The authors describe the use of a self-expandable stent in a temporary deployment for treatment of a very wide-neck A1 segment of anterior cerebral artery (ACA) aneurysm following incomplete clipping. A 39-year-old hypertensive man presenting with seizure-like movement underwent computed tomography, which showed acute subarachnoid hemorrhage and an A1 segment of ACA aneurysm with superior and inferior projection. He underwent surgical clipping of the aneurysm, but superior and posterior portion of wide-neck aneurysm remained. We decided to treat the remnant aneurysm using an endovascular modality. After selection of the aneurysm, coil packing was performed assisted by the temporary semi-jailing technique. The Enterprise stent (Cordis Neurovascular, Miami, FL, USA) was deployed and recaptured repeatedly for angiography to ensure safety of the small caliber parent artery. Successful semi-deployment and recapture of the stent allowed subtotal coil occlusion of the aneurysm with good anatomic and clinical results. No complications were encountered. The stent could be recaptured up to the point where the proximal end of the stent marker was aligned with distal marker band of the microcatheter, approximately 70% of the stent length. The temporary semi-jailing technique is feasible for wide-neck aneurysm with small caliber parent artery.

  • Nowadays Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a significant source of sharing project information in the construction industry. This method of sharing the information enhances the project understanding among stakeholders. Modeling of information using BIM is becoming an essential part of many construction projects around the globe. Despite rapid adoption of BIM in construction industry still, some sectors of the industry like earthwork have not yet reaped its full benefits. BIM has brought a paradigm shift through identification and integration of the roles and responsibilities of project participants on a single platform. BIM is a 3D model-based process which provides the insight into the efficient project planning and design. The 3D modeling can also be used significantly for the design of temporary structures in an earthwork project. This paper presents the quantity take-off methodology and parametric modeling technique for creating the temporary structures using 3D BIM process. A case study is conducted to implement the proposed temporary structure family design on a real site project. The study presented is beneficial for the earthwork project stakeholders to extract the relevant information using 3D BIM models in a project. It provides an opportunity to calculate the quantity of material required for a project accurately.

  • This study was designed to investigate the marginal accuracy of resin temporary crown with different matrix in indirect technique. Matrices were made from irreversible hydrocolloid impression material, putty type of vinyl polysiloxane silicone rubber and vacuum formed plastic sheet. The marginal discrepancies of the temporary crowns were measured using a measuring microscope. The obtained results were as follows 1. The marginal accuracy temporary crown using vinyl polysiloxane silicone rubber or vacuum formed plastic form was better than that of the temporary crown using irreversible hydrocolloid impression material. 2. The marginal accuracies of the temporary crown using the irreversible hydrocolloid impression material and putty type of the vinyl polysiloxane silicone rubber obtained the best results at the distal measuring point. 3. The vacuum formed plastic form was recorded a more acceptable marginal accuracy at the distal and mesial measuring points.

  • When a patient with a fractured anterior tooth visits the clinic, clinician has to restore the tooth esthetically and quickly. For esthetic resin restoration, clinician can use 'Natural Layering technique' and an index for palatal wall may be needed. In this case report, we introduce pre-restoration index technique on a Class IV defect, in which a temporary filling material is used for easy restoration. Chair-side index fabrication for Class IV restoration is convenient and makes a single-visit treatment possible.

  • This study is to develop the structure analysis and optimization algorithm of the strut supported temporary structure for underground constructions. Developed algorithm performs the analysis and the optimization of each strut, wale, and H pile of temporary structures separately. The design variables of nonlinear optimization consist of the cross-sections of temporary structures such as strut, wale, and H pile and the solution of the nonlinear programming is searched using for the method of successive unconstranint minimization technique. The weight of the structure is used for the object function of nonlinear programming. the constraints are derived from the specification of the temporary structures as compressive axial, bending, shear, composite stress and serviceability. The structural analysis is performed based on the elastoplastic beam theory. This developed program can be used to evaluate the applicability, convergence, and effectiveness of the temporary structures.

  • With recent developments in digital dentistry, research on techniques and materials for three-dimensional (3D) printing is actively underway. We report the clinical applications and outcomes of 3D printing of temporary crowns fabricated with polylactic acid (PLA) using a fused deposition modeling (FDM) printer. Five participants were recruited from among patients scheduled to be treated with a single full-coverage crown at a dental clinic in a university medical center from June to August 2022. We used 3D-printed crowns fabricated with PLA using an FDM printer as temporary crowns and were assessed for discomfort, fracture, and dislodging. The 3D-printed temporary crowns were maintained without fracture, dislodging, or discomfort until the permanent prosthesis was ready. The average time required for printing the temporary crowns was approximately 7 minutes. The 3D printing of temporary crowns with PLA using an FDM printer is a convenient process for dentists. However, these crowns have some limitations, such as rough surface texture and translucency; therefore, the 3D printing process should be improved to produce better prostheses.

  • As the system reliability of power supply is highly increased, we need distribution maintenance techniques without any power interruption. To meet such an increasing demand, a groat deal of hot line work on the high voltage overhead distribution lines has been carried out. In this regard, Hot line work techniques has being applied widely. However, hot line work techniques can not cover all kinds of work without interruption. To cope with those problems, the temporary power supply work technique such as bypass cable truck technique, temporary switch technique and mobile transformer technique was developed and applied. This paper presents the most optimal method according to distribution work contents through the comparison and analysis the characteristis and problems of the existing various work techniques. Also this paper suggested the countermeasers of the prsent problems.

  • Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to compare the internal fit of two different temporary restorations fabricated by dental CAD/CAM system and to evaluate clinical effectiveness. Methods: Composite resin tooth of the maxillary first molar was prepared as occlusal reduction(2.0mm), axial reduction(1mm offset), vertical angle(6 degree) and chamfer margin for a temporary crown and duplicated epoxy die was fabricated. The epoxy dies were used to fabricate provisional restorations by CAD/CAM milling technique or 3D-printing technique. The inner data from all crowns were superimposed on the master die file in the 'best-fit alignment' method using 3D analysis software. Statistical analysis was performed using a Wilcoxon's rank sum test for differences between groups. Results: It showed that the internal RMS(Root Mean Square) values of the additive group were significantly larger than those of other group. No significant differences in internal discrepancies were observed in the temporary crowns among the 2 groups with different manufacturing method. Conclusion: All the groups had the internal fit within the clinical acceptable range (< $50{\mu}m$). The continuous research in the future to be applied clinically for the adaptation of additive manufacturing technique are needed.
