Object orientation has become the predominant paradigm for conceptual modeling (e.g., UML), where the notions of class and object form the primitive building blocks of thought. Classes act as templates for objects that have attributes and methods (actions). The modeled systems are not even necessarily software systems: They can be human and artificial systems of many different kinds (e.g., teaching and learning systems). The UML class diagram is described as a central component of model-driven software development. It is the most common diagram in object-oriented models and used to model the static design view of a system. Objects both carry data and execute actions. According to some authorities in modeling, a certain degree of difficulty exists in understanding the semantics of these notions in UML class diagrams. Some researchers claim class diagrams have limited use for conceptual analysis and that they are best used for logical design. Performing conceptual analysis should not concern the ways facts are grouped into structures. Whether a fact will end up in the design as an attribute is not a conceptual issue. UML leads to drilling down into physical design details (e.g., private/public attributes, encapsulated operations, and navigating direction of an association). This paper is a venture to further the understanding of object-orientated concepts as exemplified in UML with the aim of developing a broad comprehension of conceptual modeling fundamentals. Thinging machine (TM) modeling is a new modeling language employed in such an undertaking. TM modeling interlaces structure (components) and actionality where actions infiltrate the attributes as much as the classes. Although space limitations affect some aspects of the class diagram, the concluding assessment of this study reveals the class description is a kind of shorthand for a richer sematic TM construct.
The present study intends to understand how multimodality can be implemented in a content course curriculum and how students perceive multimodal tasks. Twenty-eight students majoring in English were engaged in a digital storytelling assignment as a part of the content curriculum. Findings from the questionnaire and reflective essays that investigated students perceptions of digital storytelling showed that students felt that the assignment helped them engage in the task and felt motivated. In comparison to traditional writing tasks, students perceived digital storytelling to be more engaging and motivating, but felt that the assignment required more mental effort and caused more anxiety. By supporting students to explore technology and implement multimodal aspects in the learning process, digital storytelling can encourage engagement and autonomous learning to create meaningful works that are purposeful and enjoyable.

Arabic skills are the tools by which children are prepared for the educational procedures on which their life depends. Deaf and hard of hearing students (DHH), must be able to grasp the same Arabic terms as hearing students and their different meanings in a context of different sentences less than what they are supposed to be due to their inability. However, problems arise in the same Arabic word and their different meanings in a context for (DHH) students since the way of comprehending such words does not meet the needs and circumstances of (DHH) students. Therefore, researchers introduce web-based method for Arabic words and their meanings in a context prototype that can overcome those problems. Methodology: The study sample consists of 30 (DHH) students at Al Amal City of Palestine, Gaza Region (GR). Those participants that agreed to take part in this study were recruited using a purposeful sampling method. Additionally, to examine the survey information descriptively, the Statistical Packages for social Sciences (SPSS) version 24.0 was used. A sign language teaching movie is utilized in the prototype to standardize the process and verify that Arabic vocabulary and their implications are comprehended. The Evolutionary Process Model of Prototype technique was utilized to create this system. Finding: The findings of this study show that the prototype built is workable and has the ability to help DHHS differentiate between phrases that have the same letters but distinct meanings. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to a better understanding and application of Development of Web-based Arabic Assessments for (DHH) Students in developing countries, which will help to increase the use of Development of Web-based Arabic for (HDD) students in those countries. The empirical models of Web-based Arabic for (DHH) students are established as a proof of concept for the proposed model. The results of this study are predicted to have a significant impact to the information system practitioners and to the body of knowledge.

Dongje school (同濟學校), alternately Dongje medical school, is generally recognized as the first modern school for Korean medicine. However, there is very limited information concerning its establishment, duration period, governance, location, and contents for teaching. We found several points which are different from popular opinions through investigating news articles of those days and maps. Dongje school has established on June 1, 1906 and the time of its discontinuance is not clear. The school was founded with the cooperation of three former government officials of the Korean Empire, Eungse Lee (李應世), Piljoo Kang (姜弼周), and Dongho Cho (趙東浩) and many people donated fund for supporting Dongje school. However, there is no evidence of national or royal expenditures for operating the school. Dongje school has been established in 76-6, Seohak hill (西學峴), Yeogyeong-bang (餘慶坊), West county (西署), Seoul and moved to Naesum-si (內贍寺) located in Bongsangsi front village (奉常寺前門洞), Indal-bang (仁達坊), West county, at September 1906. The curriculum of the school comprehends several disciplines including literature in Korean and Chinese, mathematics, foreign language, physics, and Western medicine, as well as Korean medicine. Particularly at that time, they thought both of women and men. To elucidate the issue of the governance of Dongje school regarding the national or royal establishment, more information and extensive studies should be needed.
The purpose of this study is to examine the factors related to learning through analysis of domestic research trends in literacy and to present the direction of literacy education. Research papers from 1993 to February 2022 were collected using RISS. 'Literacy' and 'Education' were used as search keywords, and 200 papers were selected for analysis. As a result of analysis using keyword network analysis, 118 keywords appeared at least three times out of a total of 810 keywords. The order of the keywords with the highest frequency is 'digital literacy', 'media literacy', and 'elementary school'. The following direction was suggested through the analysis results. First, it is required to establish an online teaching and learning resource platform and link it with education policy. Second, it is necessary to set literacy competencies and seek ways to improve competencies. Third, a digital-based convergence education model should be developed. This study is meaningful in that it analyzed the most recent literacy studies and suggested the direction of literacy education.

The United Kingdom is known for the quality of its qualifications. There is a strict quality system with reputable bodies responsible for ensuring that high quality standards are met. In order for new qualifications to be accredited, they must meet all the requirements set out in the regulations for the quality and informatization of Education. The crucial role of the Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (QAA) in the UK for creating high-quality management of higher education institutions is revealed, the influence of informatization tools on its effective mechanism as an independent entity is shown, and positive experience for the educational sector is highlighted. While the universities themselves are responsible for reviewing educational programs at the subject level, the QAA review focuses on verifying internal quality assurance, as well as systems and improvement strategies. The QAA uses a peer review process in which teams mostly consist of academic staff from other institutions to assess the quality of the institution's education. In Scotland, the team also includes an international reviewer. The student is also a member of the Scottish teams. In the UK, attention is paid to providing a cohort of experienced reviewers who can conduct high-quality monitoring and help with advice on improving education. All reviewers must complete training and have permission to participate in the review of educational programs. There are selected committees that are members of the QAA council, each of which is headed by a member of the Council or an independent person approved by the Council. Attention is drawn to the main areas of the QAA's work in the framework of environmental, social and corporate governance.

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence-based conversation agent developed by OpenAI using natural language processing technology. In this study, an empirical study was conducted on incumbent teachers on the intention to use the newly emerged Chat GPT. First, we studied how accuracy, entertainment, system accessibility, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use affect ChatGPT's acceptance intention. In addition, we analyzed whether perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use differ in the intention to accept depending on the digital technology of teachers. As a result of the study, the suitability of the structural equation model was generally good. Accuracy and entertainment were found to have a significant effect on perceived usefulness, and system accessibility was found to have a significant effect on perceived ease of use. In the analysis of teachers' digital technology control effects, it was found that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use had a control effect between acceptance intentions. It was found that the group with high digital skills of teachers was strongly intended to accept the service regardless of perceived usefulness and ease of use. In the group with low digital skills of teachers, it is thought that ChatGPT's service shows the acceptance intention only when the perceived usefulness and ease of use are high. Therefore, in the group with low digital technology, it is necessary to seek teaching activities such as the development of instructional models using ChatGPT.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the experiences of foreign students in childcare practicum, with a specific focus on identifying the difficulties they encountered and the values they derived from their practicum experiences. The aim was to gain insights that can contribute to improving practicum support for these students. Methods: A total of 6 foreign students were selected as participants for this study using snowball sampling. The data collection period spanned from May 2021 to March 2023, during which semi-structured interviews were conducted and qualitatively analyzed. Results: Foreign students faced challenges in securing practicum placements prior to the start of their program. Communication difficulties necessitated the use of interpreters to interact with children. Additionally, documenting information in a language other than their mother tongue posed a challenge. Consequently, there was a need for tailored training support to address the specific needs of foreign students in childcare practicum. Despite these challenges, the students reported rewarding and valuable experiences during their practicum. These experiences included discovering the teaching identity in Korea, learning about desirable practices in the field, recognizing and addressing personal shortcomings, and developing a sense of vocation for the advancement of infant education in their home countries. Conclusion/Implications: If we actively listen to and provide appropriate support for the specific needs of foreign students in their childcare practicum, they have the potential to become excellent childcare teachers who can foster a harmonious and inclusive environment within our multicultural society.

The purpose of this study is to indicate a case that applied forming a instructional community-establishing instructional strategies-developing learning and assessment toolkits as a connective strategy between information literacy and curricula to foster the Library-Assisted instruction(LAI). In this case a new instructional community consisted of a teacher librarian, a korean language teacher, a korean history teacher and a korean geography teacher of the 10th grade. The community developed integrated learning topics connected with subject-specific classes and designed LAI's instructional strategy. Finally learning and assessment toolkits containing information problem solving and resources using model were designed by this community. This method can provide students with enough time in using resources and teach information literacy systematically. Also it will help teacher librarians improve leadership and partnership in the school community.

This study was to analyze the related contents by securing 32 volumes of 8 types of physical education textbooks for grades 3, 4, 5, 6 that are being used in the school field for the revitalization of dance education. As a result, the 3rd grade expression area organized textbooks focusing on movement language and expression elements. For the 4th grade, most textbooks suggested gymnastics using balls, hoops, and ribbons. In the 5th grade, Ganggangsullae and Mask dance were suggested in relation to Korean folk dances, and Tinikling and Gustaf's skoal suggested in relation to foreign folk dances. had been In the case of 6th graders, the exploration of expression elements and the expression process were presented in relation to thematic expression, and the subject expression was made possible with a focus on creative gymnastics. Also, line dance among practical dances was presented in most textbooks. Despite the importance of the expression domain, field teachers at school are complaining of difficulties in teaching and learning due to various internal and external problems. The need for activation is raised in that the expression domain can exert effects in all cognitive, mental, and affective domains.
