유치원 교사가 지각한 유아 수학교육의 내용 - 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 - (Kindergarten Teachers' Perception of Content Areas of Mathematics for Young Children - According to the 2007 national kindergarten curriculum -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of kindergarten teachers about which content should be included in early childhood mathematics education. Then the researcher looked into the findings according to the 2007(7th) national kindergarten curriculum. The results showed that kindergarten teachers perceived the important of balanced content areas of early childhood mathematics education. But the results also showed that kindergarten teachers perceived classification as the most important content areas of early childhood mathematics education. This implicates that the kindergarten teachers revealed somewhat conflicting beliefs about mathematics education. The results also showed that kindergarten teachers did not perceive space and data analysis as the most important content areas of early childhood mathematics education according to the 2007 national kindergarten curriculum The kindergarten teachers also suggested basic and restricted mathematics concepts. The results of this study were discussed related with the problems in early childhood mathematics education, especially the problems in teacher education.

유아가 인식하는 남성보육교사의 역할과 유아의 성역할 개념 (Children's Understanding on the Roles of Male Childcare Teachers and Children's Gender Role Concepts)

  • 본 연구는 유아가 인식한 남성보육교사의 역할과 남성보육교사의 역할 수행에 따른 유아의 성역할 개념을 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 유아교사의 역할을 분석하기 위해 수도권에 위치한 어린이집 유아 34명을 대상으로 심층면담과 그림 그리기를 실시하고, ${\chi}2$ 검증 및 내용분석을 실시하였다. 또한 유아 38명을 대상으로 유아의 성역할 개념의 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였다. 연구결과 유아가 인식한 남성보육교사의 역할은 가르치는 역할이 가장 높게 나타났고, 일상을 돌보는 역할, 놀이자의 역할이 그 다음으로 많이 나타났다. 반면에 환경을 조직하는 역할, 업무를 지원하는 역할, 컴퓨터로 일하는 역할은 낮게 나타났다. 성역활 개념에서는 남성보육교사의 역할 수행에 따라 남성보육교사의 유아가 여성보육교사의 유아보다 성역할 개념이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 아동권리협약에 명시된 유아의 참여권을 보장하기 위해 유아와의 인터뷰뿐만 아니라 유아의 그림 자료도 분석에 활용하여 유아가 인식하는 남성보육교사의 역할을 심층적으로 분석했다.

유년층의 스마트 미디어 리터러시 유형과 부모와 교사의 중재 영향 (Patterns of Childhood's Smart Media Literacy and Effect of Parents' and Teachers' Mediation)

  • 본 연구는 유년층에게 나타나는 스마트 미디어 리터러시 유형을 알아보고 이에 따른 부모 및 교사의 중재유형의 영향력을 분석하였다. 유년층의 경우, 향후의 미디어 교육 방향에 있어 요인 형성이 이루어지는 시기인 만큼 스마트 미디어 리터러시 유형과 그에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이 의미있는 일이다. 연구결과, 유년층의 스마트 미디어 사용에 있어서 '지각리터러시'와 '비판리터러시'와 같은 유형의 리터러시 패턴을 나타내는 것으로 조사되었다. 지각리터러시에 대한 영향력으로 성별, 학년, 이용시간, 부모 맞벌이, 부모의 적극적 중재, 소극적 중재 그리고 교사의 적극적 중재, 소극적 중재가 유의미한 변인으로 조사되었다. 또한, 비판리터러시의 경우 이용시간, 부모 맞벌이 그리고 부모의 적극적 소극적 중재가 영향력을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으나 지각리터러시와 비교하여 성별과 학년 그리고 교사의 중재는 영향력을 가지고 있지 않은 것으로 조사되었다. 이는 유년층의 경우 학교에서의 교사 영향력보다는 가정에서의 부모 영향력이 크다는 것을 말하는 것으로 사회 정책적으로도 이점을 주목할 필요가 있을 것이다.

영아기질에 대한 양육자의 지각 차이 및 기질과 양육자와의 상호작용 관계 (Relations Between Infant Temperament by Caregivers' Perceptions and Infant-Caregiver Interactions)

  • Subjects were 78 12- to 35- month old infants, their mothers, and their teachers. Instruments included the Revised Toddler Temperament Questionnaire(Y. H. Choi 1990) and the Assessment Profile for Early Childhood Programs(M. K. Hong 1997; S. K. Kim 1999). There was no significant difference in perceptions of infant temperament between mothers and teachers. Infant-mother interaction differed by infant temperament in that mothers had high scores with easy infants but low scores with difficult children. On the other hand teachers maintained high interactions with difficult infants in the case of infant's rhythmicity. Infant-teacher interaction correlated with such teacher variables as teacher-infant ratio, teachers' academic backgrounds and working hours.

아동의 성별, 부모의 이혼 및 아동의 부모 양육행동 지각이 아동의 행동문제에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Gender, Parental Divorce, and Children's Perception of Parenting Behaviors on Children's Behavior Problems)

  • This study investigated the effects of children's gender, parental divorce, and children's perception of parenting behaviors on children's behavior problems. The subjects were 80 children in divorced families(46boys and 34girls) and 74 children in non-divorced families (37boys and 37girls). They completed questionnaire assessing perception of parenting behaviors and their teacher rated K-CBCL(withdrawal, depression/anxiety, aggression). Results were as follows. First, children in non-divorced families perceived their parenting behavior more positively. Second, boys had more behavior problems such as depression/anxiety and aggression than girls. Third, children in divorced families had more behavior problems such as withdrawal, depression/anxiety, and aggression than children in non-divorced families. Fourth, children's withdrawal was affected by parental divorce and children's perception of parenting behaviors, and children's depression/ anxiety and aggression were affected by parental divorce and children's gender.

아동의 인권감수성과 인권상황인식에 영향을 미치는 변인 연구 (Research on the Variables Predicting Children's Human Rights Sensitivity and the Perception of Human Rights)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in elementary school children's human rights sensitivity and the perception of human rights depending on child variables, family variables, school variables, and predictive influences among these variables. The participants were 1,364 elementary school children in the 'Current Status of Korean Children's and Youth's Rights(2013)'. The results of this study were as follows: First, the variables influencing children's human rights sensitivity were school life experience, grade, the degree to which adolescents think they are respected in deciding family issues, gender, experiences of teacher's swear words, experiences of being neglected, and experiences of being bullied at school. Second, the variables influencing children's perception of human rights were gender, experiences of parents' swear words, school life experience, the degree to which adolescents think they are respected in deciding family issues, and father's educational achievements. The results of this study offered fundamental data about the important issues in researching children's rights and the policy implications for enhancing them.

유아 기본생활습관 교육에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식 (The perception of pre-service kindergarten teacher toward children's fundamental habit education)

  • The study was to see if the perceptions of pre-service kindergarten teacher toward the education of children's fundamental habit would show different characteristics based on their school type, education learning experience, and practicum experience. Subjects were 200 students majoring in early childhood education who were attending 3-year colleges and 4-year universities in Jellabuk-do and Daejeon. Preceding researches were referenced to develop questionnaire for the research method. The collected data was analyzed through t-test and Chi-square test. The followings are results: First, the interest in education showed significant difference in school type, but not significant difference in education learning experience and practicum experience. Second, the recognition in educational goal showed significant difference in practicum experience, but not significant difference in school type and education learning experience. the educational content showed significant difference in education learning experience, but not in school type and practicum experience. the recognition in educational principal showed significant difference in school type, but not significant difference in education learning experience and practicum experience. the recognition in educational method showed no significant difference in school type, education learning experience and practicum experience. Third, the recognition in educational hardship toward teaching showed significant difference in school type, education learning experience and practicum experience. The results of study would provide the righteous cognitive establishment of children's fundamental habit education and serve the appropriate guidelines being professor for our perspective kindergarten teachers. Also, they would be utilized as basic information to plan the direction of children's fundamental habit education to develop the program of children's life guidance.

DACUM 기법에 의한 영양교사 직무기술서 개발 (Development of Job Description of Nutrition Teacher by the DACUM Method)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a standard job description for a nutrition teacher placed in primary and secondary schools by analyzing their duties. DACUM is an acronym for 'Developing A CUrriculuM'. It was used by experts to determine the job duties, tasks and task elements to establish the job descriptions of a nutrition teachers through the development of a DACUM chart. An expert panel consisting of 10 nutrition teachers participated in a DACUM workshop and derived nutrition teacher's DACUM chart. A total of 1,550 nutrition teachers across the country were targeted as the survey subjects for validation of the DACUM chart through their perception of the frequency, importance, and difficulty of each item in the job description. A tree structure, criticality analysis, and contents validity index were added for verification. The definition of the nutrition teacher's job and DACUM chart with 5 duties, 28 tasks, and 107 task elements were derived by the DACUM method. The definition of a nutrition teacher was 'A teacher who is responsible for food service management and nutrition education and counseling for health promotion and disease prevention for students in primary and secondary schools'. The validation results of the tree structure were the priorities of the 28 tasks with ranks 1 and 2. Because there was no third priority, it was considered to be a good representation of the tasks of nutrition teachers. The DACUM chart was found to be evenly distributed with relative importances of more than 17 or less than 11 through the criticality analysis. Since the C5-4 (Conduct simulation exercise against food poisoning)'s content validity index was significantly less than the reference value of 0.78, it was not included in the final job description. 5 duties, 28 tasks, 102 task elements were included in the final job description of a nutrition teacher.

아동의 읽기에 대한 인식 (Children's Perception of Reading)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate children's perception of reading. The researchers interviewed 120 children aged 5 to 7 (40 for each age group) by using a specially designed interview format. The study of Johns (1973) was referred to as a guide in preparing the format. Responses of the children were classified in accordance with criteria worked out on the basis of the researchers' previous studies and analyzed in terms of frequencies and percentiles by age group. ${\chi}^2$ test was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study were: (1) The younger the children, the higher the rate of showing no response or of responding only to concrete incidents or things. Older children in general showed higher responses relevant to reading comprehension than younger ones. (2) Older children were more inclined than younger ones to regard the process of reading as a skill-oriented, teacher-based process. (3) Children in these age groups showed little perception of reading's objectives of comprehension and communication.

개념도를 통한 유아 인성교육에 대한 교사 인식 연구 (Study on Teachers' Perception on Child's Personality Education Using Concept Mapping)

  • 본 연구는 유아 인성교육에 대한 교사들의 인식을 Kane과 Trochim(2007)의 개념도 방법을 활용하여 밝히고, 그 중요도를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산광역시에 소재한 유아교육기관에 근무하고 있는 교사 10명을 대상으로 면접을 실시하여 총 196개의 아이디어 진술문이 수집되었으며, 추출된 아이디어 진술문을 통합 편집하는 과정을 거쳐 최종적으로 51개의 진술문으로 축약하였다. 최종 진술문은 다시 10명의 개념도 작성 참여자들에게 분류하도록 하고, 설문조사 참여자 294명에게 각 진술문의 중요도에 관해 평정하는 과정을 거쳤다. 연구결과 첫째, 분류 결과를 토대로 다차원 척도 분석과 위계적 군집분석을 이용하여 2개 차원(환경/개인, 덕목/실행)과 5개 군집으로 이루어진 유아 인성교육에 대한 교사들의 인식 개념도를 도출할 수 있었다. 둘째, 유아 인성교육에 대한 교사들의 중요도 인식을 평정한 결과 유아 인성교육 관련 5개 범주 중 '성인의 역할 강조(M=4.45)'를 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
