There are many researches to develop robots that improve its mobility and task planning to adapt in various uneven environments. In this paper, we propose the design method and task planning of quadruped robot which can have top-bottom docking structure. The proposed quadruped robot is designed to adjust leg length using linear actuators and perform top-bottom docking and undocking using octagonal cone shaped docking module. Also, to stable walking and information gathering in the various environments, a geomagnetic sensor, PSD sensor, LRF sensor and camera. We propose an obstacle avoidance method and the topbottom docking algorithm of the two quadruped robots using linear actuator. The robot can overcome obstacles using adjusting leg length and activate the top-bottom docking function. The top-bottom docking robots of two quadruped robot can walk 4 legged walking and 6 legged walking, and use 4 arms or 2 arms the upper. We verified that the docking robots can carry objects using 4 leg of the upper robot.

To plan a software project, the manager (1)make a work breakdown structure (WBS), (2) estimate efforts for each task, (3) assign employee to each task, and (4) estimate overall schedule. When software project becomes complicated, the possible combination of WBS, effort, and employee assignments dramatically becomes larger. Software planning tool can help software project managers to deal with this complexity. In this research, we discuss with a group of experts who work in software industry, to elicit practical requirements that should be considered in the software planning technique. Considering these requirements, we develop a software project planning tool APP (Automatic Project Planner) which provide effort estimation based on historical knowledge data and automatic human resource allocation. Our technique can be the basis of reasonable and practical software project planing.

The block assembly process takes more than half of the total shipbuilding processes. Therefore, it is very important to have a practically useful block assembly process planning system which can build plans of maximum efficiency with minimum man-hours required. However, the process plans are often not readily executable in the assembly shops due to severe imbalance of workloads. This problem arises because the process planning is done on block by block basis in current practice without paying any attention to the load distribution among the assembly shops. this paper presents the development of an automated hull block assembly process planning system which results in the most effective use of production resources and also produces plans that enable efficient time management. If the load balance of assembly shops is to be considered at the time of process planning, the task becomes complicated because of the increased computational complexity. To solve this problem, a new approach is adopted in this research in which the load balancing function and process planning function are iterated alternately providing to each other contexts for subsequent improvement. The result of case study with the data supplied from the shipyard shows that the system developed in this research is very effective and useful.
During nuclear facility decommissioning, workers are continuously exposed to high-level radiation. Hence, adequate path planning is critical to protect workers from unnecessary radiation exposure. This work discusses recent development in radioactive path planning and the algorithms recommended for the task. Specifically, we review the conventional methods for nuclear decommissioning path planning, analyze the techniques utilized in developing algorithms, and enumerate the decision factors that should be considered to optimize path planning algorithms. As a major contribution, we present the quantitative performance comparison of different algorithms utilized in solving path planning problems in nuclear decommissioning and highlight their merits and drawbacks. Also, we discuss techniques and critical consideration necessary for efficient application of robots and robotic path planning algorithms in nuclear facility decommissioning. Moreover, we analyze the influence of obstacles and the environmental/radioactive source dynamics on algorithms' efficiency. Finally, we recommend future research focus and highlight critical improvements required for the existing approaches towards a safer and cost-effective nuclear-decommissioning project.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of job characteristics on emotional empowerment in visiting health personnel. Methods: Subjects were recruited in ten community health care centers in one directorial area. Data collection was done using a self-report questionnaire. Job characteristics of visiting healthcare personnel were measured using the questionnaire developed by Kang (2006), based on Hackman & Oldham (1975). Emotional empowerment was measured using the questionnaire developed by Kang (2006), based on Spreitzer (1995). Results: First, the score of job characteristics was revealed to be 3.51 points the task significance was high, and the feedback was low. Second, the level of emotional empowerment was revealed to be 3.78 points the meaning was high, and the impact was low. Third, the prediction power of job characteristics on emotional empowerment was 34% autonomy, task identity, and task significance were identified as statistically significant predictive factors. Conclusion: The job characteristics of visiting healthcare personnel are highly correlated with emotional empowerment. Autonomy, task identity, and task significance are predictive factors of emotional empowerment. These results can be used to develop more effective job planning for increasing organizational effectiveness in visiting healthcare personnel.
Background: Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a significant interest of all governments to prevent workplace hazards. Although appropriate legislation and regulations are essentials for the protection of workers, they are solely not enough. Application of them in practice should be secured by an efficient inspection system. Fundamental components of an inspection system are inspectors and their audit tasks. Maintaining the fair balanced task assignment among inspectors strictly enhances the efficiency of the overall system. Methods: This study proposes a two-phased goal programming approach for OHS inspectors' task assignments and presents a case study. Results: The solution approach gives the balanced assignment of inspectors to the workplaces in different cities of the country in the planning period. The obtained schedule takes into account the distances covered by the work places and the number of the workplaces' employees to be audited and pays attention to the human factors by considering the preferences of the inspectors. The comparisons between the obtained optimal schedule and the implemented one that is produced manually show that the approach not only maintains the technical requirements of the problem, but also provides social and physical balance to the task assignment. Conclusion: Both the approach and the application study are expected to offer fruitful inspirations in the area of safety management and policy and they provide a good guide for social policy and organizational aspects in the field of OHS inspectors' task assignment.

The estimation of radio map (RM) is a fundamental and critical task for the network planning and optimization performance of mobile communication. In this paper, a RM estimation method is proposed based on a deep dual learning structure. This method can simultaneously and accurately reconstruct the urban building map (UBM) and estimate the RM of the whole cell by only part of the measured reference signal receiving power (RSRP). Our proposed method implements UBM reconstruction task and RM estimation task by constructing a dual U-Net-based structure, which is named RadioCycle. RadioCycle jointly trains two symmetric generators of the dual structure. Further, to solve the problem of interference negative transfer in generators trained jointly for two different tasks, RadioCycle introduces a dynamic weighted averaging method to dynamically balance the learning rate of these two generators in the joint training. Eventually, the experiments demonstrate that on the UBM reconstruction task, RadioCycle achieves an F1 score of 0.950, and on the RM estimation task, RadioCycle achieves a root mean square error of 0.069. Therefore, RadioCycle can estimate both the RM and the UBM in a cell with measured RSRP for only 20% of the whole cell.
The purpose of this study was to analyze task performance and importance level of the dietitian who is working in the public health nutrition area. Work oriented job analysis methodology was employed for the study purpose. Subjects of 38 dietitians currently working at health centers in 2002 were recruited. Based on the focus group interview with 7 public health nutritionists and 7 professors, information about task elements was collected. Questionnaires measuring work performance and self-perception of importance of the selected task elements were administered. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) The tasks with high performance and importance level among 20 tasks are developing nutrition education material (B1), nutrition services for adults and the elderly (C3), writing the proposal for nutrition services (A2), evaluating service effect (A4), improving professionalism (E1), and self management (E2). 2) The task elements with high performance and importance level among weekly task elements are nutrition education for diabetes (C56), nutrition counseling for adults (C47), nutrition for hypertension (C53), managing and keeping records (C80), nutrition education for kindergarten and nursery school children (C42), searching for nutrition education materials (B26), and searching for media (B27). 3) The number of task elements with high performance and importance level among monthly task elements are 13 in the planning and evaluation of public health nutrition service, and 5 in developing nutrition education materials. The tasks of a dietitian in the public health center show a very wide spectrum. However dietitians recognize most of the tasks are important even though they cannot perform those tasks adequately.
