The Stockholm Convention, which was adopted in Sweden in 2001 to protect human health and the environment, includes regulations for Persistent Organic Pollutant Rotors such as toxic and bioaccumulatives. Currently, there are 28 types of materials. This prohibits and limits the production, use, and manufacture of products. Korea is a member of the Convention, and it is necessary to prepare management and treatment plans to address the POP trends. Thus, we experimentally investigate whether the environmentally stable incineration is achieved when the sample is thermally treated using the Lab-scale (1 kg/hr). The target samples is pesticides in liquid phase and solid phase. In this study, organic chlorinated pesticides and their thermal characteristics were analyzed. We calculated the theoretical air volume based on the element analysis results. Because the interior of the reactor is small, more than 10 times of the air ratio was injected. The retention time was set to at least 4 seconds using a margin. The incineration temperature was $850^{\circ}C$ and $1100^{\circ}C$. Thus, we experimentally investigated whether the environmentally stable incineration was achieved when the sample was thermally treated using the Lab-scale (1 kg/hr). We analyzed five types of exhaust gas; the 02 concentration was high, but the CO amount decreased. Complete combustion is difficult because of the small size of the furnace due to the nature of Lab-scale. The organic chlorine-containing pesticide had an average decomposition rate of 99.9935%. Considering the decomposition rates of organic chlorine-containing pesticide in this study, the incineration treatment at over 2 ton/hour, which is typical for a conventional incinerator, is possible. Considering the occurrence of dioxins and unintentional persistent organic pollutants, it can operate at more than $1,100^{\circ}C$.

Cable-stayed bridges are infrastructure facilities of a highly public nature; therefore, it is essential to ensure operational safety and prompt response in the event of a collapse or damage caused by natural and social disasters. Among social disasters, impact accidents can occur in bridges when a vehicle collides with a pier or when crashes occur due to aircraft defects. In the case of offshore bridges, ship collisions will occur at the bottom of the pylon. In this research, a procedure to evaluate the structural behavior of a cable-stayed bridge for aircraft impact is suggested based on a numerical analysis approach, and the feasibility of the procedure is demonstrated by performing an example assessment. The suggested procedure includes 1) setting up suitable aircraft impact hazard scenarios, 2) structural modeling considering the complex behavior mechanisms of cable-stayed bridges, and 3) structural behavior evaluation of cable-stayed bridges using numerical impact simulation. It was observed that the scenario set in this study did not significantly affect the target bridge. However, if impact analysis is performed through various scenarios in the future, the load position and critical load level to cause serious damage to the bridge could be identified. The scenario-based assessment process employed in this study is expected to facilitate the evaluation of bridge structures under aircraft impact in both existing bridges and future designs.
In this paper, we propose an algorithm that shortens the learning time by performing individual learning using partitioning the deep learning structure. The proposed algorithm consists of four processes: network classification origin setting process, feature vector extraction process, feature noise removal process, and class classification process. First, in the process of setting the network classification starting point, the division starting point of the network structure for effective feature vector extraction is set. Second, in the feature vector extraction process, feature vectors are extracted without additional learning using the weights previously learned. Third, in the feature noise removal process, the extracted feature vector is received and the output value of each class is learned to remove noise from the data. Fourth, in the class classification process, the noise-removed feature vector is input to the multi-layer perceptron structure, and the result is output and learned. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we experimented with the Extended Yale B face database. As a result of the experiment, in the case of the time required for one-time learning, the proposed algorithm reduced 40.7% based on the existing algorithm. In addition, the number of learning up to the target recognition rate was shortened compared with the existing algorithm. Through the experimental results, it was confirmed that the one-time learning time and the total learning time were reduced and improved over the existing algorithm.

Many factors such as wind direction, wind strength, temperature, and obstacles affect a munition's trajectory. Since these factors eventually determines the probability of hit and the hitting point of a target, these factors should be considered to obtain reliable weapon effectiveness data. In this study, we propose the extension of the MSDL(Military Scenario Definition Language) to reflect these factors to improve the reliability of weapon effectiveness data. Based on the existing MSDL, which has been used to set the initial condition of a military simulation scenarios, the newly identified subelements are added in ScenarioID, Environment, Organizations, and Installations as a scenario schema. Also, DamageAssessment and DesignOfExperiments element are added to make weapon effectiveness data easily. The extended MSDL enables to automatically generate the simulation scenarios that reflect various factors which affect the probability of hit or kill. This extended MSDL is applied to an integrated simulation software of weapon systems, named AddSIM version 4.0 for generation of weapon effectiveness data.

The red line of Permanent Basic Farmland is the most important part in the "three-line" demarcation of China's national territorial development plan. The scientific and reasonable delineation of the red line is a major strategic measure being taken by China to improve its ability to safeguard the practical interests of farmers and guarantee national food security. The delineation of Permanent Basic Farmland zoning (DPBFZ) is essentially a multi-objective optimization problem. However, the traditional method of demarcation does not take into account the synergistic development goals of conservation of cultivated land utilization, ecological conservation, or urban expansion. Therefore, this research introduces the idea of artificial immune optimization and proposes a multi-objective model of DPBFZ red line delineation based on a clone selection algorithm. This research proposes an objective functional system consisting of these three sub-objectives: optimal quality of cropland, spatially concentrated distribution, and stability of cropland. It also takes into consideration constraints such as the red line of ecological protection, topography, and space for major development projects. The mathematical formal expressions for the objectives and constraints are given in the paper, and a multi-objective optimal decision model with multiple constraints for the DPBFZ problem is constructed based on the clone selection algorithm. An antibody coding scheme was designed according to the spatial pattern of DPBFZ zoning. In addition, the antibody-antigen affinity function, the clone mechanism, and mutation strategy were constructed and improved to solve the DPBFZ problem with a spatial optimization feature. Finally, Tongxu County in Henan province was selected as the study area, and a controlled experiment was set up according to different target preferences. The results show that the model proposed in this paper is operational in the work of delineating DPBFZ. It not only avoids the adverse effects of subjective factors in the delineation process but also provides multiple scenarios DPBFZ layouts for decision makers by adjusting the weighting of the objective function.

The purpose of this study is to develop a methodology to select a cluster of night traffic accidents using CRP (Continuous Risk Profile) analysis. the other purpose of this study is to present the characteristics of the traffic accident cluster section selected at night using CRP analysis. The CRP analysis was performed considering traffic volume of target routes through traffic accident data. In addition, variables were set according to the freeway sections. the method of subtracting the daytime CRP from the nighttime CRP was used to analyze the nighttime traffic accident. As a result, Using the CRP analysis, the sections of hotspot were identified and plotted based on traffic accidents. Also, the sections where traffic accidents are frequent were those where IC or Tunnels were installed, and there was a deviation from the general section. In conclusion, CRP analysis could be used to calculate the frequent section of specialized traffic accidents at night, and it was selected as a point in need of improvement due to the frequent occurrence of specialized traffic accidents at night in the section where IC or tunnel facilities are installed. In addition, it is inferred that the number of specialized traffic accidents at night in the section where IC or tunnel facilities are installed is a factor in the problem of night visibility due to lighting facilities.

Recently, large-scale offshore and coastal structures have been constructed owing to the increasing interest in eco-friendly energy development. To achieve this, precise simulations of waves are necessary to ensure the safe operations of marine structures. Several experiments are required in the field to understand the offshore wave; however, in terms of scale, it is difficult to control variables, and the cost is significant. In this study, numerical waves under various wave conditions are produced using a piston-type wavemaker, and the produced wave profiles are verified by comparing with the results from a numerical wave tank (NWT) modeled using the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method and theoretical equations. To minimize the effect by the reflected wave, a mass-weighted damping zone is set at the right end of the NWT, and therefore, stable and uniform waves are simulated. The waves are generated using the linear and Stokes wave theories, and it is observed that the numerical wave profiles calculated by the Stokes wave theory yield high accuracy. When the relative depth is smaller than two, the results show good agreement irrespective of the wave steepness. However, when the relative depth and wave steepness are larger than 2 and 0.04, respectively, the errors are negligible if the measurement position is close to the excitation plate. However, the error is 10% or larger if the measurement position is away from the excitation location. Applicable target wave ranges are confirmed through various case studies.

The purpose of this study is to develop the ship valuation model by utilizing the neural network model. The target of the valuation was secondhand VLCC. The variables were set as major factors inducing changes in the value of ship through prior research, and the corresponding data were collected on a monthly basis from January 2000 to August 2020. To determine the stability of subsequent variables, a multi-collinearity test was carried out and finally the research structure was designed by selecting six independent variables and one dependent variable. Based on this structure, a total of nine simulation models were designed using linear regression, neural network regression, and random forest algorithm. In addition, the accuracy of the evaluation results are improved through comparative verification between each model. As a result of the evaluation, it was found that the most accurate when the neural network regression model, which consist of a hidden layer composed of two layers, was simulated through comparison with actual VLCC values. The possible implications of this study first, creative research in terms of applying neural network model to ship valuation; this deviates from the existing formalized evaluation techniques. Second, the objectivity of research results was enhanced from a dynamic perspective by analyzing and predicting the factors of changes in the shipping. market.
This study is to analyze the research trends related to the 'glass ceiling' phenomenon using big data analysis methods and to suggest social implications. To analyze the research trends of 'glass ceiling', the historical event that broke the 'glass ceiling' was set as an important issue, and keywords were collected by dividing park's term into three. Before, throughout and after, her term. As a result of frequency analysis, research was conducted based on 'public servants' which was selected as the main keyword in the first period, while 'women's work family compatibility' was chosen as the main keyword group in the second period. In the third period, keywords for women's occupational groups were being diversified. As a result of applying CONCOR techniques to make the studied main topics grouped, we were able to confirm that the main issues were the differentiating factors, the customary gender discrimination culture, the jobs aimed for studying, the work-family balance, the glass ceiling and the organizational performance adjustment factors, the public sector, organizational performance, and the private sector. Besides work-family compatibility support system, it was suggested as a social implication that research on improving the system to resolve the glass ceiling factor and to expand the target jobs to give solutions to real-life issues were needed, and also suggested that research on the 'glass ceiling' which the general public perceives through social medias or articles in the news, was needed in the future.

It is a study for the evaluation of the stability of the distribution automation system for the expansion of renewable energy. Through the Renewable Energy 3020 Implementation Plan, the government plans to expand new renewable energy and convert it to participatory energy that improves the quality of life of the people by 2030. The government has set a target of 20% of domestic supply energy for renewable energy generation by 2030. It is planning to establish more than 95 percent of its new facilities with clean energy such as solar power and wind power. By expanding the supply of renewable energy, new energy businesses and distributed power industry were fostered, and short-distance, low-voltage, and small-scale power generation were rapidly expanded rather than large-scale power development in the past. Due to this demand, the importance of power distribution facility operation has emerged and the need for distribution automation system is increasing. This paper discusses the development of a power distribution simulator for the performance and function evaluation of power distribution automation systems and presents the results of an interlocking test with the power distribution automation system. In order to introduce an advanced system into the power distribution system, it is necessary to take advantage of the transmission and distribution system. The DNP3.0 protocol is used in the distribution system and the IEC61850 protocol is used in the transmission and distribution system. It was concluded that the functions and performance of operations were satisfied when these two protocols are mixed and used in the distribution automation system.
