  • All industries must be cope with fast technological progress along with the economic changes experience. However, a fishery and ocean industry are something yet to study base data for HRD and classifying occupation. Therefore, this study points to major problems which related useful data of information on the fishery and ocean industry. The purpose of this study is to classify fishery and ocean occupations by KSCO. The study is carried out though review of the literature, field investigation, direct interview and an experts' meeting of 5 field majors. A proposed classification of fishery and ocean occupations is modified on several times by the meeting of experts' group. Finally, a systematic classification of fishery and ocean occupations is as follows. First of all, first rank change from fishing to fishery industry. And the second rank, fishery and ocean occupations were classified into four categories bases on the systematic and comprehensive, as it were production fisheries, fishery products and processing, fishery supplies and infrastructure, fishery services. Each rank of classifying occupation is from two to four steps based on the occupation cluster.

  • This study was conducted to determine how precooling reduces the subjective reported pain and objective pain and to evaluate the effectiveness of precooling the injection site before administration of local anesthesia in children. Electronic databases (PubMed, Ovid SP, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials) were searched for publications from 1980 to 2020. Studies were screened for titles and abstracts, followed by full-text evaluation of included reports. Six studies were included in this systematic review. The primary outcome evaluated was the pain perception or the subjective pain reported by the child receiving the injection. The secondary outcome evaluated was objective pain evaluated in each study. Among 5 studies that evaluated child reported pain scores on a visual analogue scale (VAS), 4 studies reported lower scores in the precooling group and one study reported a higher VAS score in the precooling group than in children treated with 20% benzocaine topical anesthesia. Among 6 studies that evaluated the pain reaction of children by Sound Eye Motor (SEM) score, 4 studies reported a lower SEM score in the precooling group, one study reported no significant difference between the precooling and control groups, and one study reported higher SEM scores in the precooling group than in children treated with 20% benzocaine topical anesthesia. Within the limits of this systematic review, evidence suggests that precooling the injection site with ice can be an effective adjunct to topical anesthesia in reducing both subjective and objective pain during local anesthesia administration in children.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of gamification in nursing practice for undergraduate students, as well as to explore the use of gamification in nursing education. This study is a systematic review of RCTs evaluating the effectiveness of gamification in nursing practice for undergraduate students. A total of 7 articles were identified in a search of PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase, and the additional databases were CINAHL (in English) and RISS (in Korean) between September 28, 2022 to October 5, 2022. Themes related to the environment and personal behaviors between 2002 and 2021 were extracted. The intervention themes were blood transfusion, postoperative pediatric nursing, postoperative hemorrhage and brain trauma nursing, basic and advanced life support, disaster nursing, and neonatal resuscitation. The primary outcomes were knowledge in five studies, satisfaction in one study, and competency in one study. The secondary outcomes were satisfaction in three studies, confidence in two studies, performance in two studies, skills in two studies, and self-efficacy, motivation, professional attitude, cognition, gameful experience, and affective response in one study each. Therefore, gamification interventions can be utilized in nursing practice education instead of traditional teaching methods such as lectures and face-to-face clinical practice.

  • Objectives: Psychiatric symptoms in epilepsy are very common, and the most common symptoms are depression, insomnia, and anxiety. These symptoms not only lower the quality of life of epilepsy patients, but also elevate the risk of epileptic seizures. There are no specific criteria for the available antiepileptic drugs to ameliorate these symptoms in patients with epilepsy, and there is a lack of evidence to support the efficacy and safety of existing drugs. The Shugan Jieyu capsule (SJC) is a traditional herbal medicine composed of Acanthopanax senticosus and Hypericum perforatum and is reported to be effective in relieving psychiatric symptoms. The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy of SJC as a treatment for psychiatric symptoms in epilepsy patients. Methods: Electronic databases will be investigated for publications in English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. The participants of the study are epilepsy patients with psychiatric symptoms diagnosed using any validated criteria. All types of controls will be compared-placebo, conventional treatments, and no treatment-to groups treated with SJC or modified SJC. We will measure the degree of improvement in psychiatric symptoms and check epileptic symptoms, such as the frequency of seizures. The study selection and data extraction will be performed by two independent reviewers, who will also assess methodological quality using the risk-of-bias tool by Cochrane. We will use Review Manager software (RevMan) to carry out all statistical analyses. Results: This systematic review and meta-analysis will be performed in accordance with the PRISMA-P statement. Conclusion: This systematic review is the first study to assess the efficacy and safety of SJC for the treatment of psychiatric symptoms in epilepsy. We expect that this study will provide clinically applicable evidence for patients with epilepsy when selecting drug treatments.

  • Purpose: This systematic review aims to determine whether robot-assisted training is more effective in gait training for persons with subacute hemiparetic stroke. Methods: This study adopted a systematic review study design focused on subacute hemiparetic stroke, and four core academic databases were searched until June 11, 2021, for relevant studies, including PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, and ProQuest Central. The review included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the effects of robotic-assisted training on gait performance in persons with a diagnosis of subacute hemiparetic stroke. The selected RCT studies were qualitatively synthesized based on the population, intervention, comparison, outcome, settings, and study design (PICOS-SD). Results: The study selected five RCTs involving 253 subacute hemiparetic stroke patients and performing robotic-assisted gait training using the following devices: the Lokomat, Morning Walk, Walkbot, ProStep Plus, or Gait Trainer II. Five RCTs were eligible for the meta-analysis after quantitative synthesis, and the results showed that the robot-assisted gait training group had a greater gait performance than the control group based on the 10-meter walk test, Berg balance scale, Rivermed mobility index, functional ambulation category, and modified Barthel index. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the gait performance of subacute hemiparetic stroke patients changes throughout robot-assisted gait training, but there were no indications that any of the clinically relevant effects of robot-assisted training are greater than those of conventional gait training. Further, the small sample size and different therapeutic intensities indicate that definitive conclusions could not be made.

  • In order to examine the educational effects and future directions of unplugged activities, we conducted a systematic review of Korean journals and theses from 2007 to 2016. Three kinds of database were used for systematic review: RISS, KISS, and E-article, and were performed searches using options such as 'unplugged' and 'play-centered'. Based on the protocol selected in the framework of the systematic review, 37 articles were selected analyzed in terms of research status, research subjects, research methods, research hubs, study mechanisms, educational methods, and research effects. Unplugged activities were the most popular among elementary school students. Educational effects were found to have significant effects on academic achievement, problem solving ability, and logical thinking ability. In the affirmative domain, there was a significant effect on interest, curiosity, and motivation. Based on the results of the analysis, the characteristics and implications of Unplugged activities and present the direction of future education were discussed.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of smoking prevention programs and their effectiveness for Korean school-aged children and adolescents by using systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods: Electronic searches were performed in RISS, NAL, DBPia, KISS using keywords according to inclusion criteria. 21 studies published from 2003 to the first half of 2017 that dealt with effects of smoking prevention programs for school-aged children and adolescents were selected for systematic review. Results: All 21 studies were quasi-experimental research designs. More than half of the programs(66.7%) were conducted for male and female. Most of the programs were conducted more than once a week(71.4%). 14 studies(66.7%) did not report using a theoretical model. Five dependent variables(knowledge of smoking, attitude toward smoking, non-smoking intention, self-assertiveness, and self-efficacy) were selected to measure the effectiveness of the smoking prevention programs. Knowledge of smoking was the most effective at hedge's g=0.673. Self-efficacy and self-assertiveness variables were statistically significant at hedge's g=0.461 and hedge's g=0.279, respectively. Effect sizes of attitude toward smoking and non-smoking intention were not statistically significant compared to the control group. As a result of the moderator effect analysis on the knowledge of smoking variable, the statistically significant variables were 'gender of participants'(p<0.01) and 'duration of the program'(p<0.001). Conclusions: The results of this study using systematic review and meta-analysis will be evidence-based data for researchers conducting smoking prevention programs in school-aged children and adolescents.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate (using a systematic review) the effect of Banhasasim-tang in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced symptoms. Method: A systematic review was conducted to identify the effect of Banhasasim-tang for chemotherapy-induced symptoms. Electronic databases were used, including such as PubMed, Cochrane, CNKI, Wanfang, CiNii, J-STAGE, NDSL, and OASIS. Among others, the main search terms included "cancer", "Banhasasim-tang", "Banxia Xiexin Tang", and "Hangeshashin-to". This study only included randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Results: A total of 14 RCTs were selected. They all identified the effect of Banhasasim-tang in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In addition, five of the studies evaluated the preventive effect of Banhasasim-tang on the symptoms. Conclusion: An analysis of 14 RCTs showed that Banhasasim-tang for chemotherapy-induced symptoms might be effective not only for treatment but also for prevention. However, due to the low quality and number of the selected original articles, the significance of this conclusion is somewhat limited. It is hoped that more systematic and rigorous clinical trials will be conducted.
