선박의 저항접지 시스템에서 지락 고장에 따른 대지전압 중성점 전위 특성 (Characteristics on the Neutral Point Potential of Line-to-Ground Voltage according to Line-to-Ground Fault in Resistance Ground System for Ships)

  • 계통 접지(system grounding)는 어떤 이상전압 유입이나 지락 고장 등으로부터 전력 계통의 안정성을 확보할 목적으로 전원의 중성점에 적용하는 것이다. 선박에서 주로 적용되는 계통 접지는 비접지 시스템과 저항 접지 시스템이다. 440V 선박은 비접지 시스템을 적용하고, 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV의 MV(medium voltage) 시스템을 사용하는 선박은 저항 접지 시스템 중에서 주로 고저항접지 방식을 적용한다. 지락 고장은 전기시스템에서 발생하는 모든 고장의 95%정도이고, 지락고장 발생 시 전력 계통의 대지전압이 과도하게 증가하여 선내 절연 시스템에 악영향을 주게 된다. 본 논문에서는 선박에서 적용하는 저항접지 시스템에 대해 지락 고장 발생시 지락 정도에 따라 전력 계통의 대지전압 중성점의 변동 특성을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 접지 시스템의 종류에 따른 특성을 알아보고, 선박의 저항 접지 시스템의 대지전압 중성점에 대한 모델링을 유도한다. 최종적으로 다양한 변수환경에 따라서 대지전압, 선간전압, 중성점 전위 등이 어떻게 변동되는지 MATLAB을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 지락고장 발생시 나타나는 선내 전압의 변화특성을 분석한다.

  • Selection of proper root barrier as destination part of greening is very important in Root penetration resistance plan. To select proper root barrier, it need to understand composition of greening part, size, kind of plant, connection with waterproofing layer. In this point of view, we have establish greening on the roof or concrete structure, not been understand the structural mechanism. It means that we misunderstood about purpose of greening and using it. So, chosen materials and construction method was not proper for greening, it caused water leakage and decrease performance of concrete structure. Therefore, we examine the practical use of copper sheet considering environmental condition for green roof. Watertightness by water of greening part, root penetration resistance test by root penetration, bacteria resistance by must or bacteria in soil, chemical resistance by rain and chemical agent of fertilizer, and load resistance by soil depth, sire of plant. These suggested test methods could be referred as guideline to test in green roof system because of not exist any performance appraisal guideline or standard. Consequently, it should be analysis as technical and institutional subdividing test methods and it need to study constantly as varied angles.

  • Preparation and characteristics of electroless Ni-P and Ni-B systems for semiconducting ceramics have been investigated as a function of deposit rate, reducing agent and pH variation. The effect of DMAB as ruducing agent is greater than that of sodium hypophosphite. The nickel electrode prepared from the nickel-phosphorus system with sodium hypophosphite shows low contact resistance of 0.99ohm compared with the resistance of 10chm in the electrode prepared from the nickel-boron system with DMAB. The contact resistance increases with increasing pH valuein the nickel-phosphorus system with sodium hypophosphite. The ratio of Ni to P is about 76.0/24.0 for the contact resistance of 0.99ohm in the above system.

  • This paper presents the key idea of handlebar reaction force and pedal resistance force generation in creating life-like feeling in KAIST bicycle simulator. Also, it provides methods to evaluate its reality level with given reaction force profile. In KAIST bicycle simulator, the pedal resistance force and the handlebar reaction force are calculated using the bicycle dynamic model. With the information handlebar angle, rider´s pedaling torque and road profile transmitted from the handlebar system, the pedal system and the visual part, the bicycle dynamics engine calculates the handlebar reaction force and the pedal velocity.   • The function of the automatic train operation(ATO) system is to regulate the train ride comfort during start, acceleration and deceleration and execute operation of constant speed travelling and fixed point parking. The mathematical model for the train is presented by considering unknown disturbances which consist of start resistance, travelling resistance, slope resistance, curve resistance and so on. The speed control of ATO system is designed by considering the disturbances. The simulation is executed to verify the speed control performance and compare its performance with that of a PID-type ATO control system under the disturbances. Simulation results show that the control performance of gain scheduled control for ATO system is better than that of the conventional PID controller.

뉴로-퍼지 알고리즘을 이용한 점용접재의 강도추론 기술 (The Quality Assurance Technique of Resistance Spot Welding Pieces using Neuro-Fuzzy Algorithm)

  • The resistance Spot Welding is widely used in the field of assembling the plates. However we don't still have any satisfactory solution, which is non-destructive quality evaluation in real-time or on-line, against it. Moreover, even though the rate of welding under the condition of expulsion has been high until now, quality control of welding against expulsion hasn't still been established. In this paper, it was proposed on the quality assurance technique of resistance spot welding pieces using Neuro-Fuzzy algorithm. Four parameters from electrode separation signal in the case of non-expulsion, and dynamic resistance patterns in the case of expulsion are selected as fuzzy input parameters. The parameters consist of Fuzzy Inference System are determined through Neuro-Learning algorithm. And then, fuzzy Inference System is constructed. It was confirmed that the fuzzy inference values of strength have within ${\pm}$4% error specimen in comparison with real strength for the total strength range, and the specimen percent having within ${\pm}$1% error was 88.8%. According to KS(Korean Industrial Standard), tensile-shear strength limit for electric coated of zinc is 400kgf/mm2. Judging to the quality of welding is good or bad, according to this criterion and the results of inference, the probability of misjudgement that good quality is valuated into poor one was 0.43%, on contrary it was 2.59%. Finally, the proposed Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System can infer the tensile-shear strength of resistance spot welding pieces with high performance for all cases-non-expulsion and expulsion. And On-Line Welding Quality Inspection System will be realized sooner or later.

벼멸구 저항성 계통선발을 위한 MAS의 선발효율 비교 (Comparison of Selection Efficiency between Marker-Assisted Selection and Phenotypic Selection for Development of Brown Planthopper Resistance Lines in Rice)

  • 본 연구에서는 벼멸구 저항성 개통 육성과정 중에 수행한 PS와 MAS system간의 선발 효율을 정확성, 소요시간, 소요비용 등의 요인으로 비교 분석함으로써 MAS system의 선발 효율을 제시하고, 이를 이용하여 효과적인 MAS system을 구축하고 실용화하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. DNA marker를 이용하여 벼멸구 저항성 개체를 선발하고 MAS 체제를 확립하기 위하여 '삼강/낙동' 조합의 $F_2$집단, RIL($F_6$), DH집단, 여교잡집단($BC_6F_5$)을 대상으로 PS와 marker 검정을 병행하여 두 검정 방법 간에 각 잡종집단 및 세대별 저항성과 감수성 계통(개체)의 비율을 비교한 바 95%이상 일치하였다. MAS 체제와 PS간의 선발효율을 비교한 바 MAS는 PS에 비해 약 32%의 비용이 절감되었고, 검정에 소요되는 기간도 기존의 PS에서는 30일인데 비해 MAS에서는 7일로 크게 단축되었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 MAS에 의한 벼멸구 저항성 계통 선발 체계를 확립 할 수 있었다.

EVALUATION OF PROLIFERATION RESISTANCE USING THE INPRO METHODOLOGY

  • The IAEA launched the International Project on Innovative Nuclear Reactors and Fuel Cycles (INPRO) and developed the INPRO Methodology to provide guidelines and to assess the characteristics of a future innovative nuclear energy system in areas such as safety, economics, waste management, and proliferation resistance. The proliferation resistance area of the INPRO Methodology is reviewed here, and modifications for further improvements are proposed. The evaluation metrics including the evaluation parameters, evaluation scales and acceptance limits are developed for a practical application of the methodology to assess the proliferation resistance. The proliferation resistant characteristics of the DUPIC fuel cycle are assessed by applying the modified INPRO Methodology based on the developed evaluation metrics and acceptance criteria. The evaluation procedure and the metrics can be utilized as a reference for an evaluation of the proliferation resistance of a future innovative nuclear energy system.

The Analysis of the Nano-Scale MOSFET Resistance

  • The current drive in an MOSFET is limited by the intrinsic channel resistance. All the other parasitic elements in a device structure playa significant role and degrade the device performance. These other resistances need to be less than $10{\%}-20{\%}$ of the channel resistance. To achieve the requirements, we should investigate the methodology of separation and quantification of those resistances. In this paper, we developed the extraction method of resistances using calibrated TCAD simulation. The resistance of the extension region is also partially determined by the formation of a surface accumulation region that forms under the gate in the tail region of the extension profile. This resistance is strongly affected by the abruptness of the extension profile because the steeper the profile is, the shorter this accumulation region will be.

  • Pyrimidine antagonists including 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) have been used in chemotherapy for cancer patients for over 40 years. 5-FU, especially, is a mainstay treatment for colorectal cancer. It is a pro-drug that is converted to the active drug via the nucleic acid biosynthetic pathway. The metabolites of 5-FU inhibit normal RNA and DNA function, and induce apoptosis of cancer cells. One of the major obstacles to successful chemotherapy is the resistance of cancer cells to anti-cancer drugs. Therefore, it is important to elucidate resistance mechanisms to improve the efficacy of chemotherapy. We have used C. elegans as a model system to investigate the mechanism of resistance to 5-FU, which induces germ cell death and inhibits larval development in C. elegans. We screened 5-FU resistant mutants no longer arrested as larvae by 5-FU. We obtained 18 mutants out of 72,000 F1 individuals screened, and mapped them into three complementation groups. We propose that C. elegans could be a useful model system for studying mechanisms of resistance to anti-cancer drugs.
