A novel UPQC(Unified Power Quality Conditioner), which consists of series inverter, shunt inverter, distributed generation system, is proposed. The proposing system can compensate reactive power, harmonics, voltage sag and swell, voltage interruption etc. through the change of paralleling operation mode and islanding operation mode. The control strategy for the proposing system was derived using the instantaneous power method. The performance of proposing system was analyzed by means of the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation and the experimental work with the hardware prototype. The proposing system has the ultimate capability of improving power quality at the point of installation on power distribution systems or Industrial power systems and can be utilized for the custom power device in th future distribution system.

The use of Project Management Information System (PMIS) is increasing in project management industries such as construction, defense, manufacturing, software development, telecommunication, etc. It is generally known that PMIS helps to improve the quality of decision making in project management, and consequently improves the project performance. However, how much and which parts of project management performance are affected by PMIS still need to be studied further. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of PMIS quality on project management performance. We collected data from various project based industries such as construction, defense, manufacturing, software development and telecommunication by using survey questionnaire. PMIS quality was measured in three dimensions. They are system quality, information quality and service quality. Project management performance was measured in nine variables such as time reduction, work accuracy, cost management, etc. Statistical analyses such as multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The results showed that PMIS quality had significant impacts on the project management performance and user satisfaction. It was notable that only two dimensions out of the three PMIS quality dimensions, system quality and information quality, affected the project management performance. Also, it was found that PM performance played a mediating role between PMIS and user satisfaction, and between PMIS and reuse intention. The contribution of this research is that it helps to clarify what aspects of PMIS affect the project management performance and user satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to encourage the circulation of good quality of oriental medicine and to improve national welfare. Investigation for the induction of quality inscription system was conducted by mail and interview. The data were analyzed by SAS. The major results were as follows: The portion of subjects agree to necessity of quality inscription was 78.5%. In the question of side effect against quality inscription, the rate of negative was 67.7%. The responses answered that the necessity of quality inscription was not economical profit but authority of knowledge and improvement on health(37.8%), established market for herbal medicine(34.7%) and effect of clinical care(23.9%), respectively These results might be useful information for establishing of quality inscription system for herbal medicine.

The AS9100 standard builds upon the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system requirements(in their entirety) and defines additional quality management system requirements for the aerospace industry. The 9100 standard on quality management system requirements is intended to be used at all levels of the supplier chain. The International Aerospace Quality Group has released a revision to 9100 for the aviation, space and defense industries. This change aims at improvement on quality, schedule and cost performance by adopting new requirements based on stakeholders' needs. This paper is to review how the AS9100 QMS Requirement has been established and improved, and to communicate the significant changes from AS9100, Rev. B to Rev. C focusing on reasons for revisions. The proposed schedule and considerations on the transition of the changes to Rev. C are also dealt with in this paper.

The intrusion prevention system solution is receiving the spotlight as the next generation security system. It is anticipated that the system will form a very active security market both domestically and overseas. Moreover, quality evaluation proving successful inspection of merchandises is required of domestic businesses seeking to operate in the international market, and general users also prefer those that have successfully passed inspection. This study has constructed a security quality evaluation model for intrusion prevention system by deriving and analyzing security quality evaluation items required by an intrusion prevention system solution and by classifying them in detail. The derived quality evaluation model will play an important role of assessing and improving the quality of intrusion prevention system.

A various quality data are produced during nuclear fuel fabrication. In order to control quality data efficiently, Computerization of Quality Information System(QIS) using personal computer was established. Database control software and analysis software were developed for QIS. QIS was applied the fuel manufacturing and quality inspection. Quality trend analysis, process control, process capability and quality history docket for nuclear fuel manufacturing were performed by QIS. Through the Quality Information System, quality assurance, quality control, process control and manufacturing engineering were performed efficiently in nuclear fuel manufacturing.

The management system was designed based on the existing research results and domestic and foreign cases of public service standardization, targeting the entire public service.

It is essential to estimate and evaluate for user satisfaction and quality management of database system, understanding of user needs and quality characteristics. Based on ISO 25000 series, it was suggested, the first research, that 5 main quality characteristics, 21 sub quality characteristics and 48 internal quality characteristics. There are comparative significance methods of main quality characteristics, sub quality characteristics and internal quality characteristics but it is not easy to use directly quality model in database system industry field. Also, Considering time and cost in quality evaluation, it is impossible to evaluate 48 internal quality characteristics and its level of quality evaluation is not equal in accordance with integrity level of database system. By using AHP, this study presents selection method of quality characteristics in weight and possibility of application quality model.

Most recently, development and publication of the ordinance and the manual of policy quality management is spreading the recognition of quality control in the public sector. The purpose of this study is to introduce the system of quality control for local government's policy. So we suggested lessons drew from the case study(Daegu metropolitan city, Gumi city) on current introduction. To successfully introduce the system of quality control for local government, we have to gain agrement for the new system, of introduction, secondly prepare the new system, lastly manage PQM with flexibility.

ISO 9000 series, as quality management system that assesses quality system based on the documentation such as quality manual, documented procedures, specification is properly operated and then decides to give a certification, is a screening documented system that includes factors which may influence quality. Therefore, to have a proper documented system and its performance accordant to it is very important to the company which hopes to acquire the certification of ISO 9000 series. So, the objectives of this paper are to increase the efficiency of the work by cutting down efforts necessary to establish and revise documented procedures for the certification of the ISO 9000 series in the company using the documentation system.
