A review on sweetener has been conducted. Enzymes are utilized preferentially to break-down or synthesize stevioside, MGGR and oligo-saccharides. these result in change or modification of the functions of sweetener. Originally, the sweetener was used to obtain energy, add sweet taste and for rheological properties. Recently, the physiological functions of the sweetener have been studied considerably. As the oligo-sacchride is found to function as substance of physiological activities, more researh will be carried out using enzyme to discover new functions of sweetener.

This paper describes the procedure of implementing an articulatory speech simulator, in order to model the human articulatory organs and to synthesize speech from this model after. Images required to construct the vocal tract model were obtained from MRI, they were then used to construct 2D and 3D vocal tract shapes. In this paper 3D vocal tract shapes were constructed by spatially concatenating and interpolating sectional MRI images. 2D vocal tract shapes were constructed and analyzed automatically into a digital filter model. Following this speech sounds corresponding to the model were then synthesized from the filter. All procedures in this study were using MATLAB.

This paper concerns a modified perturbation method and a least square approach to synthesize an optimum beam pattern of a thinned sensor array with respect to element spacing. In the modified perturbation, the antenna spacing is perturbed iteratively such that the sidelobes are equalized via a linear programming approach. The least square approach is proposed to improve the array performance for the thinned array using the fact that the number of sidelobes is more than the number of element spacings. It is demonstrated that the least square approach performs better than the modified perturbation method.

In this paper we will assess the feasibility of some insect behavior-modifying chemicals for insect control, such as male orientation inhibitor, female calling interrupter and female attractant of cotton bollworm Helicoverpa armigera. These behavior-modifying chemicals have advantages of simple chemical structure, easy to synthesize and low price of products. The effects of sub-lethal insecticides on insect chemical communication system and the differences of pheromone communication systems between the resistant and susceptible strain of H. armigera will also be discussed.

Some recommended procedures for obtaining aldehydes from carboxylic acid itself and its derivatives, which have been developed in relatively recent years, are summarized. Such procedures should provide a new practical methodology to synthesize the desired aldehyde products in high yields.

In order to synthesize the heat resistance ceramics of LAS system, we studied on preparing the fine powder with homogeneity by sol-gel method using metal alkoxide. Various results were obtained depending on the composition and process. When the amount of H2O added at initial stage is higher than 10mol/$\ell$, and when the amount of catalyst is 0.1mol/$\ell$, the particle size of synthesized hydrate becomes finer. On condition that partial prehydrolysis time of TEOS is more than 50 hours, the monosized fine powder is obtained(below 1${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$).

In this paper, it proposes the efficient iterative decoding stop criterion using the variance value of LLR. It is verifying that the proposal iterative de-coding stop criterion can be reduced the average iterative decoding number. The proposal algorithm md hardware synthesize to use the Synopsys Tool, performance validations perform through the ModelSim.

The Delphi method is widely used for long and middle range forecasting in management science. It is a method by which the subjective data of experts are made to converge using statistical analysis. The Fuzzy Delphi Method(F.D.M.), anew application of the Delphi method using Triangular Fuzzy Numbers(T.F.N.), can help to predict the uncertainty, synthesize the opinion and calculation of those assumed dissemblance index and fuzzy distance. Furthermore, the programming of the F.D.M. process to feed paper and data back to experts can make them more accurately predict the various information.

The preparation method of copper nanopowder by dry process for conductive ink was investigated. Inert gas condensation method was used to synthesize copper nanopowder. The produced powders was spherical and sized 10~100nm flowing the conditions. The results showed that input voltage and evaporation rate is critical variables for nano-sized copper powder.
