산업용 전기차량의 주행 모터용 보상된 Bang-Bang 전류제어기 개발 (The Development of Compensated Bang-Bang Current Controller for Travel Motor of Industry Electrical Vechicle)

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control. The compensated Bang-Bang current controller structure is simpler than that of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 16 bits microprocessor is efficiently used to implement such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with that of conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real-time implementation of the compensated Bang-Bang current controller is achieved. The concept of design strategy of the control and the PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in this paper.

  • Harmonic current mitigation is vital in power distribution networks owing to the inflow of nonlinear loads, distributed generation, and renewable energy sources. The active power filter (APF) is the current electrical equipment that can dynamically compensate for harmonic distortion and eliminate asymmetrical loads. The compensation performance of an APF largely depends on the control strategy applied to the voltage source inverter (VSI). Model predictive control (MPC) has been demonstrated to be one of the effective control approaches to providing fast dynamic responses. This approach covers different types of power converters due to its several advantages, such as flexible control scheme and simple inclusion of nonlinearities and constraints within the controller design. In this study, a finite control set-MPC technique is proposed for the control of VSIs. Unlike conventional control methods, the proposed technique uses a discrete time model of the shunt APF to predict the future behavior of harmonic currents and determine the cost function so as to optimize current errors through the selection of appropriate switching states. The viability of this strategy in terms of harmonic mitigation is verified in MATLAB/Simulink. Experimental results show that MPC performs well in terms of reduced total harmonic distortion and is effective in APFs.

A Low-Computation Indirect Model Predictive Control for Modular Multilevel Converters

  • The modular multilevel converter (MMC) has become a promising topology for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems. To control a MMC system properly, the ac-side current, circulating current and submodule (SM) capacitor voltage are taken into consideration. This paper proposes a low-computation indirect model predictive control (IMPC) strategy that takes advantages of the conventional MPC and has no weighting factors. The cost function and duty cycle are introduced to minimize the tracking error of the ac-side current and to eliminate the circulating current. An optimized merge sort (OMS) algorithm is applied to keep the SM capacitor voltages balanced. The proposed IMPC strategy effectively reduces the controller complexity and computational burden. In this paper, a discrete-time mathematical model of a MMC system is developed and the duty ratio of switching state is designed. In addition, a simulation of an eleven-level MMC system based on MATLAB/Simulink and a five-level experimental setup are built to evaluate the feasibility and performance of the proposed low-computation IMPC strategy.

압전필름을 이용한 복합재료 외팔보의 능동진동제어 (Active Vibration Control of a Composite Beam Using Piezoelectric Films)

  • This paper presents active control methodologies to suppress structural deflections of a composite beam using a distributed piezoelectric-film actuator and sensor. Three types of different controllers are employed to achieve vibration suppression. The controllers are established depending upon the information on the velocity components of the structrue and on the deflection magnitudes as well. They are constant-amplitude controller(CAC), constant-gain mcontroller(CGC), and constant-amplitude-gain controller(CAGC). For the minimization of the residual vibration (chattering in a settled phase), which is the practical shortcoming of the conventional CAC dur to time delay phenomenon of the hardware system, a new control algoritym CAGCis designed by selecting switching constants in an optimal manner with respect to the initial tip deflection and the applied voltage. The experimental investigations of the transient and forced vibration control for the first vibrational mode are undertaken in order to compare the suppression efficiency of each control algorithm. Moreover, simultaneous controllability of various vibrational modes through the proposed scheme is also experimentally verified by pressenting both the transfer function and the phase.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통망 사업자의 High Voltage Ride-Through(HVRT) 기능 요구조건을 만족하며, 정상상태에서의 손실을 최소화할 수 있는 Type 4 풍력발전기의 직류단 전압 설계 방법을 제안한다. 대용량 해상 풍력 발전에 사용되는 Type 4 풍력발전기는 전력 계통과 연계된 컨버터와 풍력 발전기와 연계된 컨버터가 직류단을 공유하는 Back-to-Back 컨버터 형태이다. Type 4 풍력발전기에서 HVRT 조건인 계통 고전압 사고가 발생한 경우 사고 전압 크기에 비해 직류단 전압이 부족하다면 과변조로 인해 계통측 컨버터의 전류 제어기가 원활하게 동작되지 못한다. 따라서 HVRT 기능을 만족하기 위해서는 고전압 사고의 전압 크기를 기준으로 직류단 전압을 설계해야 한다. 그러나 직류단 전압의 크기의 증가는 정상상태에서의 컨버터 손실 증가를 야기하므로, 직류단 전압을 크게 설계하였을 때 증가될 손실에 대한 고려가 포함되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사고 전압의 크기와 발생 손실이 고려된 직류단 전압을 설계하는 방법에 대해 설명하고, 제안하는 설계 방법의 타당성을 2MVA급 Type 4 풍력발전기의 PSCAD 모델 기반 HVRT 기능 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

소유역에서 홍수조절용 펌프 및 유수지 규모의 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Determination of Capacity for Pump and Detention Pond in Small Basins for Flood Control)

  • 내배수시설계획시 최대저류비에 의한 유수지 규모의 결정 방법은 이전 연구자에 의하여 제시된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 동두천시 11개 소규모 내배수시설을 선정하여 분석한 결과, 배수면적이 작고 펌프기능이 강화된 내배수 시설에서는 강우지속기간별 우수지의 저류비의 차이는 미미하므로 최대저류비에 의한 조정지 규모의 결정은 무리가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 최대저류비에 의하여 결정된 조정지 용량을 펌프에 의하여 배제되는 시간은 펌프의 허용시동간격보다 짧은 경우도 있어 펌프의 빈번한 작동을 초래한다. 그러므로 조정지는 펌프의 빈번한 작동에 의한 펌프 고장의 가능성을 피할 수 있는 규모로 결정되어야 한다. 다양한 펌프용량을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 소유역에서도 조정지의 기능이 강화된 내수배제시설에서는 최대저류비를 기준으로 한 조정지 용량의 결정은 펌프운영 측면에서 타당함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소규모 배수구역에서 조정지용량의 결정시 펌프의 계획배수량과 유수지의 용량에 따른 펌프의 시동빈도를 반영하여 기존의 최대저류비에 의한 방법을 개선한 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 유수지 규모와 펌프용량의 관계를 간단한 선형계획모형으로 분석한 결과, 종래의 유수지 홍수추적에 의한 유수지 용량 결정은 도시지역의 내배수시설 계획에만 타당함을 알 수 있었다.

A symmetric n-sigraph (symmetric n-marked graph) is an ordered pair $S_n$ = (G,${\sigma}$) ($S_n$ = (G,${\mu}$)), where G = (V,E) is a graph called the underlying graph of $S_n$ and ${\sigma}$:E ${\rightarrow}H_n({\mu}:V{\rightarrow}H_n)$ is a function. The restricted super line graph of index r of a graph G, denoted by $\mathcal{R}\mathcal{L}_r$(G). 4-Tert-Octylphenol의 랫드에서의 조직분포 및 독성동태에 관한 연구 (Tissue Distribution and Toxicokinetics of 4-Tert-Octylphenol in Rats)

  • 4-Tert-Octylphenol (OP) is a surfactant additive widely used in the manufacture of a variety of detergents and plastic products. OP can disrupt endocrine function in humans and animals. This study was carried out to obtain toxicokinetic parameters of OP in male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Male rats were administered with OP by single oral application of 200 mg/kg body weight. Blood, urine and tissues samples were taken at several time intervals after administration. Analysis of samples for OP was performed by column-switching high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). In addition, we exam-ined tissue distribution and accumulation of OP after single oral application of 50, 100, and 200 mg/kg, single intravenous injection of 1, 5 and 10 mg/kg or daily application of 50 mg/kg for 14 consecutive days. After single oral administration of 200 mg/kg, Cmax of 213 $\pm$ 123 ng/ml was reached within the first 1.3 hr (Tmax) in the plasma. AUC was calculated for 1,333$\pm$484 ngㆍhr/ml. The final elimination half-life of plasma was longer than that of urine, but urinary clearance was lower than oral. A very small fraction of OP (Fe < 0.0017%) was excreted in urine within 24 hr. These results indicated that the major excretion route of OP was not urine. The mean maximal tissue distribution of OP was obserbed at 6 hr after treatment and slowly decreased time-dependently. High OP concentrations were detected in fat at 24 hr. The OP in fat was slowly released with longer elimination half-life and lower clearance than that of other tissues. OP was not accumulated in the liver following single oral application but 14-day oral treatments resulted in two-fold accumulation. It was probably due to the saturation of detoxification pathways. On the other hand, the mRNA expression of cytochrome P450 isoforms except CYP2C11 was not affected by OP at any dose. The expression of CYP2C11 mRNA decreased in a dose-dependent manner. This result suggests that OP changes expression of the male-specific cytochrome P450 isoforms in rat liver, and these changes are closely related to the toxic and estrogenic effect of OP.

소형 추적 레이더를 위한 신호처리기 설계 기술 연구 (A Design Study of Signal Processor for Small Tracking Radar)

  • 최근 추적 레이더는 다양한 환경에서 여러 가지 제약을 받지 않고 운용이 가능한 소형 추적 레이더 개발의 필요성을 확인하였다. 또한 소형 추적 레이더의 성능은 기존 추적 레이더와 동등 이상을 요구한다. 이런 소형 추적 레이더는 기존 추적 레이더의 소형화와 저전력화를 통해 구현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 소형 추적 레이더를 위한 신호처리기의 역할과 기능을 정의하고, 소형 추적 레이더를 위한 신호처리기를 구현하기 위해 필요한 디바이스 사용의 최소화를 통한 소형화와 소비 전력의 효율을 높이기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 소형화에 대한 방안으로 상용 DDC, 통신 controller등의 디바이스 기능을 FPGA에 구현하여 소형 추적 레이더를 위한 신호처리기를 설계하였다. 또한 효율이 좋은 Switching regulator를 사용한 전원부의 설계로 저전력 신호처리기를 설계하였다. 마지막으로 구현한 소형 추적 레이더를 위한 신호처리기의 성능시험과 소형 추적 레이더에 신호처리기를 적용한 도플러 추적 시험, 거리 추적 시험으로 신호처리기를 검증하였다.

Subcellular partitioning-dependent functional switching of Arabidopsis photoreceptor phytochrome B in response to brassinosteroids

  • Many organisms control their physiology and behavior in response to the local light environment, which is first perceived by photoreceptors that undergo light-dependent conformational changes. Phytochromes are one of the major photoreceptors in plants, controlling wide aspects of plant physiology by recognizing the light in red (R) and far-red (FR) spectra. Higher plants have two types of phytochromes; the photo-labile type I (phyA in Arabidopsis) and photo-stable type II (phyB-E in Arabidopsis). Phytochrome B (phyB), a member of the type II phytochromes in Arabidopsis, shows classical R and FR reversibility between the inter-convertible photoisomers, Pr and Pfr. Interestingly, the Pr and Pfr isomers show partitioning in the cytosol and nucleus, respectively. In the over 50 years since its discovery, it has been thought that the type II phytochromes only function to mediate R light. As described in the text, we have now discovered phyB has an active function in FR light. Even striking is that the R and FR light exert an opposite effect. Thus, FR light is not simply nullifying the R effect but has an opposing effect to R light. What is more interesting is that the phyB-mediated actions of FR and R light occur at different cellular compartment of the plant cell, cytosol and nucleus, respectively, which was proven through utilization of the cytosolic and nuclear-localized mutant versions of phyB. Our observations thus shoot down a major dogma in plant physiology and will be considered highly provocative in phytochrome function. We argue that it would make much more sense that plants utilize the two isoforms rather than only one form, to effectively monitor the changing environmental light information and to incorporate the information into their developmental programs.
