OFDM 신호의 동기 알고리듬 (A synchronization algorithm for OFDM signals)

  • In this paper, a synchronization method of OFDM signals are introduced and its performance is estimated. A proposed method can perform a frame/symbol timing, carrier frequency synchronizations. Reference symbols consist of two duplicate OFDM symbols carrying signals on every sub-carriers. Performances of synchronization under 60GHz millimeter-wave indoor channels are evaluated, which were measured with frequency-sweeping method in common office buildings. A proposed method has improved performances owing to long averaging durations of synchronization metrics in frame/symbol timing, carrier frequency synchronization procedures.

예봉산의 거미상 (The Spider Fauna of Mt. Yebongsan, Kyunggi-do, Korea)

  • The authors investigated the spider fauna of Mt. Yebongsan from May 1994 to Aug. 1996. In this paper, 265 species from 21 genera, and 28 families were identified and compared with those from islands geographical with differing i.e., Is. Paikryung-do, Is. Chin-do, and Is. Ulrung-do distribution and climate. Spiders from 45 palaearctic regions(3.69%), 13 holarctic regions(1.06%), 4 oriental regions(0.32%) and 5 cosmopolitans(0.41%) are identified. Various methods were used for collecting specimens during the period including pitfall, beating, sweeping and looking up-down.

  • This paper deals with an inexpensive, simple and fast Langmuir probe sweeping circuit and its application. This sweeper completes a probe trace in a 1 ms order. Futhermore, the circuit drives a maximum probe voltage of $\pm$30V and has a maximum probe current capability of a few amperes. The plasma parameters are successfully determined using the fast Langmuir probe method.

  • A swept volume is a useful tool for solving various types of interference problems. Previous works have concentrated on sweeping an object along an arbitrary path, that results in complex algorithms. This paper concerns the volume swept by translating an object along a linear path. After analyzing the structure of the swept volume, we present an incremental algorithm for constructing a swept volume. Our algorithm takes O(n/sup 2/ *.alpha.(n)+T/sub c/) time where n is the number of vertices in the original object and T/sub c/ is time for handling face cycles.

  • In this paper, an X-band power amplifier using GaAs FET was designed and fabricated, which is to be used as SART transmitter sweeping at the frequency range of 9.2 GHz~9.5 GHz. The amplifier is consist of two stages using ATF-46101 FET of Hewllett-Packard. Finally, the amplifier using microstrip line matching solution shows that MAG is 23 dB at the center frequency of 9.35 GHz.

  • As an efficient way of modeling bodies of complicated shapes, the sweeping and skinning operations have been implemented. These two operations are very powerful modeling method when the body is defined by the cross sections at various locations. For the implementation, the data structure for storing the cross sections and the resulting three dimensional body has been constructed. The resulting object is defined by the boundary representation based on the non-uniform nonperiodic B-spline surface.

  • An intelligent path planning algorithm for an autonomous cleaning robot is presented. This algorithm recognizes obstacle on the architectural CAD draft and generates subgoals as tracking points which executes the area filling task based on heuristic approach. A sweeping path is planned by sequentially connecting the tracking points in such a way that (1) the connected line segments should be crossed, (2) the total tracking points should be as short as possible, (3) the tracking line should not pass through the obstacle. Feasibility of the developed techniques has been demonstrated on real architectural CAD draft.

  • This paper presents a signal processing procedure to detect damage locations of frame structures by using continuous wavelet transform. Morlet wavelet is used as a mother wavelet in wavelet transform. Wavelet transform has the characteristics that allows the use of long time intervals at more precise low-frequency information, and shorter regions at high-frequency information. By this wavelet transform characteristics, Morlet wavelet may be used to identify the locations of damages in the structures. The numerical case studies show that this method can be applied to detect the damage location under a controlled sweeping load.

Induced NATM technic has been improved since 1975 as follows, specially adhesive method of shotcrete instead of spray method such as tunnel swift lining Sliding press lining, clean lining by pumping and sweeping tote lining ets.

  • We have measured the escape rates of the Nb Josephson junction from its zero-voltage state. The critical current measurements were carried out in repeatedly sweeping the current-voltage characteristics of the junction with a current ramp. From the distribution of the critical current the escape temperature was determined by applying the thermal activation model.
