생쥐 뇌소교세포주에서 웅담추출활성성분(우르소데옥시콜린산)의 항산화 및 세포보호효과 (Anti-oxidative and Cytoprotective Effect of Ursodeoxycholic Acid, an Active Compound from the Bear's Gall, in Mouse Microglia)

  • 퇴행성뇌질환인 치매의 정확한 원인은 아직 불분명하나 빠른 뇌세포사멸이 주요한 원인으로 알려져 있다. 특히, 알츠하이머형 치매는 다량 생성되는 활성산소에 의한 뇌세포사멸이 주요원인인 것으로 입증되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웅담활성성분인 UDCA의 세포보호 및 항산화효과로부터 알츠하이머형 치매와 같은 퇴행성 뇌질환억제 또는 치료물질로서의 가능성을 입증하고자 하였고 뇌의 대식세포인 소교세포(microglia)를 cell model로 하였다. MTT 실험결과 UDCA에 의한 세포보호효과는 $7.5\;{\mu}g/mL$ 주변 농도에서 관찰되었고 NO에 의한 세포손상 유도억제효과를 확인하였다(Fig. 2). 이와 같은 결과는 형광현미경하에서 보다 명확히 관찰되어(Fig. 3) 결국 UDCA에 의한 항세포사효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. UDCA의 항산효과는 활성산소인 $H_2O_2$의 단백질 분해 저해능을 관찰하는 금속이온촉매 산화효과를 통해 확인하였다(Fig. 4). 즉, UDCA는 농도의존적으로$(1{\sim}100\;{\mu}g/mL)$ 단백질 분해억제능을 보였으며 $100\;{\mu}g/mL$ 이상의 농도에서 양성대조군인 ascorbic acid와 유사한 억제효과를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 UDCA의 항산화효과는 $10\;{\mu}g/mL$ 전후에서 관찰되어 세포보호효과를 나타내는 농도$(7.5\;{\mu}g/mL)$와 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 사료되었고 따라서 UDCA의 농도범주는 일괄적 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 결론적으로 웅담활성성분인 UDCA는 일반적으로 사용하여온 간질환 및 소화계질환의 보조요법제의 개념을 벗어나 항염 및 항산화효과에 잠재능을 가지며 나아가 뇌신경세포를 보호하고 세포사를 차단하여 알츠하이머와 같은 퇴행성뇌질환 조절 후보물질로 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되나 보다 심도 있는 in vivo 및 임상적 차원의 연구가 요구된다.

Nutrient Utilization, Body Composition and Lactation Performance of First Lactation Bali Cows (Bos sondaicus) on Grass-Legume Based Diets

  • A study on energy and protein utilization, and milk production of Bali cows on grass-legume diets was carried out using 12 first lactation cows (initial BW $263.79{\pm}21.66kg$) during a period of 16 weeks starting immediately post calving. The animals were randomly allotted into 4 dietary treatment groups R1, R2, R3 and R4, receiving from the last 2 months of pregnancy onwards, graded improved rations based on a mixture of locally available grass and legume feed ad libitum. R1 contained on a DM basis 70% elephant grass (PP, Penisetum purpureum) plus 30% Gliricidia sepia leaves (GS), R2 was 30% PP plus 55% GS supplemented with 15% Hibiscus tilliactus leaves (HT, defaunating effect), R3 and R4 were 22.5% PP+41.25% GS+11.25% HT+25% concentrate, where R3 was not and R4 supplemented with zinc di-acetate. TDN, CP and zinc contents of the diets were 58.2%, 12.05% and 18.3 mg/kg respectively for R1, 65.05%, 16.9% and 25.6 mg/kg respectively for R2, 66.03%, 16.71% and 29.02 mg/kg respectively for R3 and 66.03%, 16.71% and 60.47 mg/kg respectively for R4. Milk production and body weight were monitored throughout the experimental period. In vivo body composition by the urea space technique validated by the body density method and supported by carcass data was estimated at the start and termination of the experiment. Nutrient balance and rumen performance characteristics were measured during a balance trial of 7 days during the 3rd and 4th week of the lactation period. Results indicated that quality of ration caused improvement of ruminal total VFA concentration, increments being 52 to 65% for R2, R3 and R4 above R1, with increments of acetate being less (31 to 48%) and propionate being proportionally more in comparison to total VFA increments. Similarly, ammonia concentrations increased to 5.24 to 7.07 mM, equivalent to 7.34 to 9.90 mg $NH_3-N/100ml$ rumen fluid. Results also indicated that feed quality did not affect DE and ME intakes, and heat production (HP), but increased GE, UE, energy in milk and total retained energy (RE total) in body tissues and milk. Intake-, digestible- and catabolized-protein, and retained-protein in body tissues and milk (Rprot) were all elevated increasing the quality of ration. Similar results were obtained for milk yield and components with mean values reaching 2.085 kg/d (R4) versus 0.92 kg/d (R1) for milk yield, and 170.22 g/d (R4) vs 71.69 g/d (R1), 105.74 g/d (R4) vs 45.35 g/d (R1), 101.34 g/d (R4) vs 46.36 g/d (R1) for milk-fat, -protein, and -lactose, respectively. Relatively high yields of milk production was maintained longer for R4 as compared to the other treatment groups. There were no significant effects on body mass and components due to lactation. From the relationship $RE_{total}$ (MJ/d)=12.79-0.373 ME (MJ/d); (r=0.73), it was found that $ME_{m}=0.53MJ/kgW^{0.75}.d$. Requirement of energy to support the production of milk, ranging from 0.5 to 3.0 kg/d, follows the equation: Milk Prod. ($Q_{mp}$, kg/d)=[-2.48+4.31 ME($MJ/kg^{0.75}.d$)]; (r=0.6) or $Q_{mp}$=-3.4+[0.08($ME-RE_{body\;tissue}$)]MJ/d]; (r=0.94). The requirement for protein intake for maintenance ($IP_m$) equals $6.19 g/kg^{0.75}.d$ derived from the relationship RP=-47.4+0.12 IP; (r=0.74, n=9). Equation for protein requirement for lactation is $Q_{nl}$=[($Q_{mp}$)(% protein in milk)($I_{mp}$)]/100, where $Q_{nl}$ is g protein required for lactation, $Q_{mp}$ is daily milk yield, Bali cow's milk-protein content av. 5.04%, and $I_{mp}$ is metabolic increment for milk production ($ME_{lakt}/ME_{m}=1.46$).

농업 기술 전파 커뮤니케이션에 관한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Communication of Agricultural Innovation)

  • This study reports on a comparison between the Korean diffusion of agricultural innovation or extension service and the cooperative extension service in the United States of America. It focuses on relevant differences between the two systems and provides recommendation for improvement of the Korean system to insure success in important areas related to the diffusion of agricultural innovations. After a comparative study on diffusion of innovations it is clear that: in order to have a productive agriculture that makes effective and efficient use of natural resources and helps achieve sustainability goals, a mechanism that delivers knowledge to agricultural communities must be established and maintained. This mechanism is clearly an agricultural extension service that is cooperatively funded by federal, state and local governments and that insures participation of constituents in the process of establishing priorities and evaluating achievements. The success of US agriculture, the most productive in the world, is to a large degree to the Cooperative Extension Service. Based on the results of this study and the differences of the United States and Korea, the following recommendations should be emphasized for more effective communication for agricultural innovation and rural development in Korea: 1) In order to insure that extension educators are high caliber professional individuals, it is important to establish a system that nationally recognizes these individuals as such, and that provides a professional development path. 2) The results of the decision of transfer of extension educators to local governments has not yielded positive outcomes, especially in terms of professional status. It is clearly demonstrable that valuable professionals are leaving the service, that local governments do not have the will and resources to implement a successful extension program. 3) Because of the critical importance of diffusing innovations to agricultural producers in order to insure and quality and steady food supply, it is of critical importance that these issues be addressed before the extension service is further deteriorated. Given the cement situation, it is clear that the extension service should become nationally supported again in cooperation with local and state governments and that extension professionals be given appropriate rank at the national level, commesurate with their peers in research and teaching. 4) The common current committee practice of lengthy reporting and short discussion needs to be changed to one that results in char, brief and substantive action oriented goals. Joint participation by researchers, extension educators and farmers should be encouraged in planning, implementation and evaluation of communication for agricultural innovations. Roles and functions of committees for institutional cooperation, and or agricultural extension committees should be enlarged. 5) Extension educators should be encouraged to adopt new communication technologies to improve their diffusion of innovations methods. Agricultural institutions and organizations should be encouraged to adopt farmer-first and or client-oriented approach in agricultural extension and diffusion of agricultural technologies. The number, complexity and rapid change of information in agricultural extension require the development of a computer based information and report system to support agricultural extension. 6) To facilitate and expand the further development of communication for agricultural innovation and rural development, agricultural communication programs in universities especially in colleges of agriculture and life sciences. 7) To strengthening the sense of national and social responsibility communication for agricultural innovation and rural development among students in agricultural colleges and universities through participation in learning activities by proactive recruitment. 8) To establish and reinforce a policy that insures participation in communication for agricultural innovation and regal development activities. 9) To improve further development of communication for agricultural innovation and rural development in Korea, more research activities should be encouraged.

교사의 전문성 인식, 교수 의도 행동에 따른 교사-영유아 상호작용 (The Quality of Teacher-child Interactions by Teachers' Perception of Professionalism and Teaching Intentions)

  • 본 연구는 교사의 전문성 인식, 교수 의도 행동, 교사-영유아 상호작용이 교사의 학력과 경력에 따라 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 각 변인 간의 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울 및 경기 지역에 소재한 국공립, 민간, 직장 어린이집 22곳에 재직 중인 만 2세~만 5세 교사 50명이었다. 교사-영유아 상호작용을 측정하기 위해 최소영과 신혜영(2015)이 번안한 Arnett(1989)의 교사 상호작용 척도(Caregiver Interaction Scale: CIS)를 수정하여 사용하였고, 교사의 전문성 인식을 측정하기 위해 Wang(2005)이 개발하고 정아람(2016)이 번안, 수정한 평정척도(Current Status and Self-Desire for Professional Competence)를 사용하였다. 교수 의도 행동은 Wilcox-Herzog와 Ward(2004)의 교수 의도 행동 척도를(Teaching Intention Scale: TIS) 본 연구자가 번안, 수정하여 사용하였다. 교사-영유아 상호작용은 연구자와 연구 보조자가 직접 기관을 방문하여 교사 관찰을 실시하였고, 교사의 전문성 인식과 교수 의도 행동은 교사용 설문지를 통해 측정하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 t-검증과 Pearson의 적률상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 교사-영유아 상호작용은 교사의 학력과 경력에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 교사의 경력이 많을수록 전문성을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 교수 의도 행동은 교사의 학력과 경력에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 전문성 인식 수준이 높은 교사가 긍정적인 교사-영유아 상호작용을 더 많이 하였다. 특히 교수 능력, 운영관리 능력의 전문성 인식 수준이 높은 교사가 좀 더 긍정적인 교사-영유아 상호작용을 하였다. 다섯째, 교사의 교수 의도 행동 수준이 높을수록 교사-영유아의 민감한 상호작용 수준이 높았다. 결론적으로 교사-영유아 상호작용은 교사의 전문성 인식과 관계가 있었고, 교사의 교수 의도 행동은 교사-영유아의 민감한 상호작용과 관계가 있었다.

농업용수리시설의 유지관리체제일원화에 관한 연구 - 충남지역 수리계 운영실태조사결과를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Unified Operation and Maintenance System of Irrigation Facilities in Korea - With Reference to the Survey Results on the Activities of Irrigation Fraternities in Chungnam Province -)

  • This study is aimed at identifying the national economic value of the irrigation facilities by reviewing the existing papers on economic values of the irrigation facilities and presenting current status of dual O & M problems of the irrigation facilities. This study suggested the unified O & M system rather than continuing the existing dual O & M system of irrigation facilities based on the surveyed results of the activities of irrigation fraternities in Chungnam Province. The findings and proposals for the successful unified and mono O & M system of the irrigation facilities are as follows: (1) Total number of irrigation facilities in the nation accounts for 67,582, while the total length of irrigation and drainage canals amounted to about 174,259km. On account of the total length of structural canals was estimated at 31%, much losses of water and much O & M costs have been inevitable for the full irrigation rice culture. In spite of the past heavy investment for irrigation facilities, the ratio of rain-fed and partially irrigated paddy fields accounts for 23% in 2003. Both Korea Agricultural and Rural Infrastructure Corporation (KARICO) and the city and Gun Governments have managed the irrigation facilities separately by irrigation fraternities. The KARICO have commanded 59% of irrigation paddy area with 18% of the total irrigation facilities, while the city and Gun governments covered 41% of irrigation paddy area with 82% of the existing number of irrigation facilities representing small and medium scale. (2) The 1999 demand prices of irrigation water per ton expressed in 2000 constant market price was estimated at 388 won, the supply price was amounted to 184 won per ton. Considering the supply and demand curve of the irrigation water, the existing irrigation facilities could not satisfy the demand of irrigation water. (3) In 1999, total present added value of the irrigation facilities during the economic life accounted for 48 trillion won, while total supply cost was 44.7 trillion won. The marginal benefit and cost ratio of irrigation water was 1.08. (4) The total O & M cost per year amounting to 681.1 billion won have been required to maintain and repair the existing irrigation facilities in Korea. For the successful unified O & M of irrigation facilities covering whole irrigated paddy field in Korea, 950 billion won of O & M costs are required to keep up the marginal benefit of irrigation water as 2,800 billion won per year. The total O & M cost as 950 billion won should be allocated 40%, 380 billion won for O & M costs of irrigation facilities and 60%, 570 billion won for improvement of irrigation facilities. (5) The study investigated and reviewed the present O & M status of the irrigation facilities by small and medium irrigation fraternities. Most of the farmers belong to the irrigation fraternities preferred not only unified O & M but also KARICO take-over of the whole O & M activities of the irrigation facilities. The prevailing O & M cost per 10a expended by the Corporation was amounted to 104,890 won, while that of city and Gun governments was only amounted to 4,600 won per 10a. regarding the small amount of O & M cost expended by city and Gun governments, it is evident that the existing irrigation system have been managed ineffectively and deteriorated the facilities comparing that of KARICO. In conclusion, the Government could not satisfied the demand of irrigation water by suppling water with existing irrigation facilities. Therefore new additional investment and financial support for irrigation water development should be made to convert rain-fed and partially irrigated paddy fields into fully irrigated ones. The operation and maintenance cost should be supported to keep the marginal values of rice production of existing irrigation facilities in the national economy and to modernize the obsolete irrigation facilities. By unifying the existing dual O & M systems, all the farmers belong to the irrigated paddy fields have to be equally benefited and could be increased their farm income and be stabilized their rural lives.

대단위 농업종합개발사업의 사회경제적 기대편익 추정과 결합비용의 배분 -금강지구를 중심으로- (Estimation of the Expected Socio-economic Benefits of the Largescale Comprehensive Agricultural Development Project and Jointcost Allocation -In the Case of Kumgang Project Area-)

  • This study is aimed at reviewing the methods of joint cost allocation and allocating the joint cost of estuary dam with specially repect to Kumgang Large-scale Agricultural Comprehensive Development Project. Apart from the water resource development project propelled by Water Resource Development Corporation in connection with Law of Multipurpose Dam Development, the Largescale Comprehensive Agricultural Development Projects couldn't ins-titutionally be carried out cost allocation of common facilities, even though it were concerned with irrigation, municipal and industrical water supply, flood control, sightseeing and industrial zone development components. To decrease farmer's burden of the project costs and, operation and maintenance costs, the joint costs of common facilities like estuary dam included in agricultural development projects have to be allocated by suitable method as alternative cost-remaining benefit method and the analytical activity should be supported by revising the concerned laws as Rural Development and Promotion and, Rural Rearrangement conpatible with the law for multipurpose dam development. Kumgang Agricultural Comprehensive Development Project was selected as a case study for the estimation of socio-economic benefits by project components and joint cost allocation of the estuary dam. The main results of the study are as follows; Joint cost allocation and unit charges by components 1. The project area will be 25,554ha with total project cost of 624,860 million won including the estuary dam cost of 120,843 million won. The project costs were ex-pressed by 1994 constant price. 2. Total quantity of water was estimated 365 million tons which were consisted of 245 million tons for irrigation, 73 million tons for municipal water and 47 million tons for industrial water. 3. The rates of joint cost allocation were amounted to 34.2% for agriculture, 2.5% for sightseeing, 45.7% for transportation, 11.8% for M & I water supply and 5.8% for flood control respectively. 4. The unit financial charges by project components were estimated at 7.88 won per ton for irrigation, 16.11won for M & I water, 1,686won per vehicle one pass, 977won per Pyeong according to the capital recovery method. The financial charges using straitline method for depreciation were estimated at 7.88won per ton for irrigation, 9.12won per ton for M & I water, 624won per vehicle one pass for transportation and 331won per Pyeong for sightseeing area. 5. The unit economic charges by project components were estimated at 21.1 won per ton for irrigation, 15.2won for M & I water, 977won per vehicle one pass, 977won per Pyeong according to the capital recovery method. The economic charges using straitline method for depreciation were estimated at 11.72won per ton for irrigation, 8.61won per ton for M & I water, 331won per vehicle one pass for transportation. Policy recommendation 1. The unit operation and maintenance costs for irrigation water in the paddy field couldn't be imposed as the water resource cost untreated. 2. The dam costs including investment cost and O & M cost, as a joint cost, had to be allocated by each benefited components as transportation, M & I water supply, flood control, irrigation and drainage, and sightseeing. But the agricultural comprehensive project have been dealt as an irrigation project without any appraisal socio-economic benefits and any allocating the joint cost of estuary dam. 3. All the associated project benefits and costs must be evaluated based on accounting principle and rent recovery rate of the project costs and O & M costs should be regulated by the laws concerned. 4. The rural development and promotion law and rural rearrangement law have to be revised comprising joint cost allocation considering free rider problems. 5. The government subsidy for the agricultural base development project has to be covered all the project costs. In case of common facilities representing joint cost allocation problems, all the allocated casts for other purposes like transportation and M & I water supply etc. should be recovered for formation in investment fund for agricultural base development and to procure O & M costs for irrigation facilities.

한국치위생과학회지 게재논문의 연구경향 분석 (The Rsearch Trends of Papers in the Journal of Dental Hygiene Science)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과학회지의 질적 향상과 치위생 관련 연구의 보다 나은 발전을 모색하기 위해 2001년부터 2012년까지 발간된 치위생과학회지의 게재논문 총 548편을 조사하고 분석함으로써 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 논문의 연구설계에 의한 분석으로는 단면연구가 434편으로 가장 높게 조사되었고, 실험연구 100편, 2차 자료를 이용한 연구 38편, 기타 14편의 순으로 조사되었다. 실험논문을 제외한 434편의 논문 연구대상자를 살펴보면, 치과위생사 대상이 100편으로 가장 많았고, 치위생과 학생 대상이 82편, 치과 병 의원의 내원환자 대상이 52편, 일반인 대상이 39편, 초등학생 대상이 28편, 대학생 대상이 26편 순으로 조사되었다. 논문의 저자 수에 대한 분석에서는 2인이 206편으로 가장 많았고, 3인이 142편, 1인이 114편, 4인이 37편 순으로 나타났다. 자료분석방법으로는 기술통계가 424회로 가장 많았고, t-test, ANOVA, X2 검정, 상관관계 순으로 조사되었으며, 그 밖의 분석방법으로 회귀분석, 비모수 검정 관련 분석, 경로분석, 공분산분석, 구조방정식 등이 사용된 것으로 조사되었다. 연구주제 분류에 있어서는 구강건강행동과학이 251편으로 가장 많았고, 임상치위생 123편, 기초치위생 93편, 기타 35편, 치위생교육과정 26편, 치위생관리 20편 순으로 나타났다. 연구비 수혜여부에서는 548편의 논문 중 97편만이 연구비를 지원받았고, 년도 별로는 2012년이 31편으로 가장 많았으며, 2011년에 18편, 2009년에 13편 순으로 조사되었다. 논문의 참고문헌 수는 평균 21.7편으로 국내 참고문헌 수 13.1편, 국외 참고문헌 수 8.6편이 인용되었음을 보여주었다. 또한 본 학회지의 자기인용 수준은 평균 1.26편으로 나타났다. 본 논문의 조사에 의하면 단면연구 외의 다른 연구 설계 논문들이 현저히 적은 것으로 나타났으며, 장애인이나 임산부 등의 특수집단을 대상으로 한 연구논문은 그 편수가 상당히 미비한 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 단면연구 뿐 아니라 다양한 설계의 논문들이 쓰여져야 할 것이며 치위생 관련 활동이나 연구가 반드시 어느 특정한 대상을 위해서만이 아닌 모든 국민 전체가 대상이 되어야 하는 만큼 소외된 계층이나 특수 대상을 위한 연구 또한 활발히 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

각급 척추동물의 담낭 상피세포에 대한 형태학적 연구 (Morphological Study on the Epithelial Cells in the Gall Blader of Vertebrates)

  • 저자는 붕어, 두꺼비, 유혈목이, 십자매, 소를 재료로 담낭 상피세포의 조직학적인 관찰과 조직화학적인 성상의 관찰로 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 상피세포의 형태는 동물마다 차이를 가지며, 일부의 동물에서 보고된 이른바 통상세포와 간상세포의 2종의 세포를 조직화학적 면에서는 뒷받침 할 수 없었다. 2. 붕어는 단층 원주세포, 두꺼비는 점막주름 상부는 원추형, 주름 측면부는 원주형, 주름 기부는 사다리꼴 세포, 유혈목이는 단층 원주상피로서 높이가 얕은 원주형 내지 입방형 세포 그리고 소는 단층 원주상피로서 원주형이 되었다. 3. 세포질의 eosinophility는 붕어에서는 모든 상피세포의 핵상단부 세포질에서 강하고 균일하였고, 두꺼비에서는 세포질 전체가 약한 세포가 다수 출현하였고, 유혈목이는 핵상부 세포질이 균일하게 강하였으며, 십자매에서는 전 세포질이 균일하였고, 소에서는 세포질 전체가 비교적 균일하였으며 핵 주위 세포질이 환상으로 약하였다. 4. PAS 반응에서 동물에 따른 강약의 차이를 보였고, 세포질이 밝게 보이는 명세포와 어둡게 보이는 암세포로 나눌 수 있었으며, 명세포의 출현은 붕어에서 6.4%, 두꺼비에서 4.3%, 그리고 십자매에서 3.7%였으며 유혈목이와 소에서는 명세포가 출현하지 않았다. 5. Ninhydrin-Schiff에 양성인 단백질 함량은 소, 붕어, 십자매, 두꺼비, 유혈목이의 순이었는데 붕어, 유혈목이, 십자매에서는 점막주름 상부세포들이 풍부하였고, 두꺼비에서는 부위 별 차이가 없을 뿐만 아니라 세포질에 균일하게 함유하였다. 6. 중성 지방은 붕어, 유혈목이, 십자매, 소에서는 세포의 형태에 관계없이 염색성을 보이지 않거나 약한 세포가 출현하였고, 두꺼비에서는 세포 부위의 차이는 있으나 전세포에서 염색성을 나타내었다. 7. RNA 와 DNA는 모든 동물에서 세포의 형태에 관계없이 점막주름 상부세포가 강하고 점막주름 기부 및 측면부의 세포에서는 약한 반응을 보였다.

한국산 방동사니족(사초과) 식물의 분자계통과 광합성경로의 분화 (Molecular phylogeny and divergence of photosynthetic pathways of Korean Cypereae (Cyperaceae))

  • 광합성 경로의 전환은 현화식물의 계통에서 여러 번에 걸쳐서 독립적으로 일어난 진화적 사건으로서 사초과에서는 다섯 번 이상 발생한 것으로 추정되고 있다. 방동사니족에서 나타난 C4 광합성 경로로의 전환은 한 번 발생하였으며 이는 방동사니족 내 C4 식물의 공유파생형질로 여겨진다. 방동사니족에 포함된 속들의 형태학적 한계는 분자계통학적 유연관계와 일치하지 않으며, 특히 다계통군으로 여겨지는 방동사니속의 한계는 계통분류학적으로도 논란이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국산 방동사니족 식물의 광합성 경로와 분자계통을 비교하고자 하였다. 해부학적 관찰을 통해 우리나라 방동사니족 식물 20종(방동사니속 18종, 파대가리속 1종, 세대가리속 1종)의 광합성 경로를 확인하였다. 또한 nrITS, rbcL, trnL-F의 염기서열에 근거하여 각 분류군의 분자계통학적 위치를 파악하고자 하였으며, 분류군 전체의 계통을 파악하기 위하여 선행연구 결과와 함께 분석하였다. 엽록체가 밀집된 광합성 조직의 위치에 따라 우리나라 방동사니속 식물 중 병아리방동사니와 우산방동사니, 모기방동사니, 알방동사니의 네 종은 C3 식물로 확인되었고, 나머지 14종의 방동사니속 식물, 파대가리, 그리고 세대가리는 C4 식물로 결정되었다. 또한 분자계통학적 분석에서 방동사니족은 CYPERUS 분계군과 FICINIA 분계군으로 구분되었으며, 우리나라 방동사니족 식물은 모두 CYPERUS 분계군에 속하였다. CYPERUS 분계군내에서 C4 식물들은 단계통군을 형성하였지만 각 분류군 간의 유연관계는 명확하게 나타나지 않았다. 분자계통수에서 세대가리속과 파대가리속은 C4 식물인 방동사니속 식물들과 함께 단일 분계군을 형성함으로서 각각 독립된 속으로서 지지 되지 않는다. 이는 기존의 연구결과와 일치하며, CYPERUS 분계군에 속한 속들의 계통분류체계를 명확하게 하기 위해서는 면밀한 형태학적 연구와 더불어 높은 해상력을 갖춘 분자계통학적 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

중학교용 에너지 교육 자료 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Energy Education Materials for Middle School Students)

  • Our country has been consuming a huge amount of energy in the course of industrialization and its demand is expected to increase enormously in the future. However, the deposits of energy resources are so limited that the settlement of energy problem comes up the essential subject. To solve the energy problem, it is requested that new resources to gain energy stably should be developed and also energy should be economized and used effectively. The effective use of energy and an the wisdom of economy in energy are requested to everybody and these things should be habitualized from very young age through education. Nevertheless, almost every school in our country hasn’t been concerned about energy education. Even though they have a concern, they are very short of the energy education materials and the quality of the materials is not so good. Therefore it is very meaningful to the settlement of energy problem of the country to make the students who will lead our country to make the students who will lead our country in the future realize the seriousness of energy problem and to provide them the necessary knowledge and methods to solve this problem so that they practice those things in everyday life. Having these necessities, this research, supported by The Korea Energy Management Corporation(KEMCO), was performed for 8 months from April 17, 1994 to December 17, 1994. Many peoples participated in this study such as 30 staffs of researchers and authors, 5 staffs of photographers and illustrators, and 3 VCR program producers developing an energy education material set for middle school students that includes a printed material for student, a diskette for computer simulation, a teacher's guidebook, VCR material and its guidebook. The following main development direction was established : First, the material for student should be consisted of units that let students know the seriousness of energy problem. Second, the focus should be put on the necessary method and practice to economize energy actually in real life based on the basic knowledge learned in elementary school. Third, material for student should be consisted of modules to be student activity-oriented teaching-learning rather than lecture-oriented one. The activity, to maximize student's interests, should be presented in various forms such as experiments, investigation, play, data interpretation, computer simulation, visits, expression and appreciation, etc. To develop the energy education materials for middle school students, a research plan was made first. After literature review about domestic and foreign energy education materials, several research trips home and abroad, and discussion meetings, the basic theory of energy education such as the principle, objective, contents, teaching-learning method, and evaluation method was established. Material for student was developed through the following procedures : The activities in the existing energy education materials were analysed and were divided into four categories related to energy using places of home, school, community, and country, and which were again divided into three categories related to time of past, present, and future, Considering these division, nine modules which are structure units of material for student were chosen, Each module comprises 2-4 activities. Totally 31 activities were designed in this way. The syllabi were made out for each activity and writing was asked for to experts related to each activity after several discussions and revision. To complement the draft, another several discussions and revision were also made on it and then pictures and illustrations were asked for. All these procedures complete the material for student, titled ; Energy Inquiry of Middle School Students', which totals 129 pages and is all in color. As the manuscript of material for student was fixed, writing for teacher's guidebook was asked for to the same writers. The draft of teacher's guidebook was also complemented through the several concentrated works and discussions. Teacher's guidebook focused on the teaching-learning principle and methods of energy education and on the concrete instruction cases for effective instruction of material for student. It is organized with two parts : the one is 'general outline' which introduces theoretical contents and the other is 'details' which are practically helpful to teaching-learning. It is totally 131 pages including both 'general outline' and 'details'. The VCR material and its guidebook consist of contents that cultivate the good attitude trying to economize energy and raise student's interests with a purpose of strong motivation to recognize the necessity of economy and practice it. After establishing development direction of VCR material through discussion meetings and research trips, its script was made by relevant experts. Then the script was also reviewed two times. The drafted VCR material made by a video material developing expert was examined and modified by previews twice. After completion of VCR material, the VCR guidebook was made. All these procedures led to the development of VCR material which runs 20 minutes in VHS type. The VCR guidebook shows a production purpose of the program, structure of contents, evaluation methods, and contents of the program in detail to give help to instructors when they use this VCR material, When these energy education materials are used, it is desirable that the VCR material should be presented first to induce student's motive, and then material for student is introduced Since the material for student is composed of activity-oriented modules and each module is independent one another in general, and each activity is, too. the necessary module or activity can be chosen and utilized in any order according to school or class conditions. This energy education materials will contribute to the development of student's ability to solve energy problem in everyday life and teacher's ability to teach the fundamental knowledge and method in solving energy problem.
