The purpose of this study was to investigate(1) the effects of clothing cues of 20s young man in business suits on the perception of occupational suitability in an office setting and (2) the effect of Perceiver's self-monitoring and sex on the perception of occupational suitability formed by the function of clothing cues. The experimental design of this study was between-subjects 23 factorial design. The experimental materials developed for the study were a set of stimuli and a response scale. The stimuli consisted of 8 color photographs of a young man wearing business suits which were manipulated at two levels for each of three clothing cues (suit color, suit style, necktie color). Each one of eight sub-samples included 14 subjects from 2 perceiver groups by sex. The questionaires used to measure perceivers' responses to the stimuli were constructed in 12 five-point likert scale representing occupational suitability and self-Monitoring was measured by the self-Monitoring Scale by Gangestad adn Snyder. The subjects consisted of 224 male and female college students in Seoul. The data was processed by ANOVA and MCA(Multiple Classification Analysis). The result were as follows: (1) The Clothing cues of young man in business suits(suit color, suit style) partially influenced the occupational suitability. (2) The perception of occupational suitability formed by the clothing cues of a young man in business suits was partially influenced by the perceiver's self-monitoring and sex. Female high self-monitoring group were more affected by the clothing cues than any other groups.
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the clothing image perception of elderly women according to the clothing types, the clothing colors, the perceiver's sex-role attitude, and gender. Result of factor analysis revealed that the dimensions of clothing image perception was classified into four categories: evaluation, youth, warmth, and activity. Perceiver's sex-role attitude and gender gave a significant influence on the perception of evaluation factor. Youth factor had an interaction effect on the clothing types, clothing colors, and sex-role attitudes. The persons with a conservative sex-role attitude perceived the clothing image of warm color suits as younger than the one of cold colors. The clothing image of a warm colored Hanbok (Korean traditional dress) was perceived milder than a cold one, but there were no difference in suits. Bright color suits make the wearer look younger, and cold color suits make the wearer look active. The clothing color had greater influences on the warmth and the evaluation factor than clothing types. Persons who have a conservative sex-role attitude perceived the differences according to clothing types and colors in a traditional way. It could be certified that perceiver's sex-role attitude was one of the variables influencing his/her perception in social interaction.
The purpose of this study was to Inferr the attractiveness and Men's occupational Status by facial Impressions and Clothing Styles. The Study was consist of experimentals methods. The experiments developed a set of stimuli and response scales which was pro-fessional suits(C1) general clerical position suits(C2) small business suits(C3) artist at-tire(C4) student attire(C5) The impression of stimuli were measured by means of semantic-duffernential scales an open-ended questionnaire and data was processed ANOVA Duncan's multiple range tes and x2-test. Judging the effects of occupational charaoteristics the experiment was designed in the between-subject design. The subject were 30 male and female who were divided 25 experimental groups as arranging 12 subjects. The conclusions of this study are as follows. 1)Facial characteristics affect the attract iveness and occupational status. 2) Clothing styles affects the inferrence men's attractiveness and occupational status. 3) Perceives inferrence of occupational status affect more impression of the high levels positions person and artist person. 4) High quality texiles deep yellow color suits are perceived high levels positions and white knit jacket and check printed slacks are judged Artist. 5) Artistically characterized person is perceived only artist even change any types of cloth.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the combination of tailored suit details through visual evaluation which helps compensating middle aged women's body defects for their more attractive fashion styles. The data evaluated by a multiple ranking test were analyzed using mean, paired t-test, general linear measure and Duncan's multiple raged test. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The middle aged woman wearing the opened flap pocket-jacket and slacks looks longer(p〈0.001) in lower part of her body and taller(P〈0.01) as a whole than when wearing others. And, opened jacket makes a middle aged woman be seen with less appeared abdomen(p〈0.01) than that wearing others. 2) The middle aged woman wearing the opened flap pocket-jacket and skirt looks more elegant(p〈0.001), more graceful(p〈0.001), and a bit more balanced(p〈0.05) than that wearing the opened flap pocket-jacket and slacks suits. According to situation(TPO). the middle aged women wearing the opened flap pocket-jacket, and slacks or skirt looks more effective the visual effect in combination of details on Tailored suits. In this study, a questionnaire was compiled by conducting interviews and preliminary surveys, and then handed out to a total of 270 welders working in shipyards to investigate their opinions on welding clothes. By which investigation, it was intended to understand their dissatisfactions and issues with conventional welding clothes and then propose of such welding clothes as may offer better fit and suitability. A total of twenty welding suits were collected to find the locations and degrees of wear and tear. Due to too large differences in the locations and degrees of wear and tear among the clothes, the evaluation was focused on ten suits out of the twenty suits collected. The researcher’s subjective judgment was used to select the nineteen most severely damaged parts, which were then photographed in a uniform distance and evaluated by a group of experts in terms of the degree of damage in order to locate most severely damaged parts and select adequate materials for those parts in designing an experimental suit. Based on two above evaluations, the experimental welding suit was produced in consideration of the design, materials and patterns. A lab evaluation and a site evaluation were conducted to compare the experimental suit and other conventional suits, a lab evaluation and a field evaluation were performed.

This study was to examine the effects of garment types on thermal insulation using a thermal manikin. cotton polyester wool silk and rayon were selected as outer wears like a blouse a skirt slacks and one-piece for this study Acetate was chosen as a lining. Brief and upper innerwear with long sleeves(cotton) were also chosen as the innerwear. The results were as follows: 1. The thermal insulation of the garment of single layer was in proportion to the covering area of garment in all types of clothing. 2. On adding the innerwear or the lining or both the thermal insulation of the each garment of single layer were showed a different trends by garment types. The thermal manikin insulations of one-piece dress adding the innerwear was higher than those of blouse-skirt suits. The thermal insulation of one-piece dress adding the innerwear and lining was lower than those of blouse-skirt suits. 3. The increasing rates of thermal insulation of multi-layered garments had different value by garment types but garment made of rayon and silk were showed very high increasing rates of thermal insulation. 4. The increasing rates of the thermal insulation of one-piece dress added the lining the innerwear or both except polyester showed the highest value and then blouse-slacks suits' turn came ound Blouse-skirt suits had the lowest the increasing rates of thermal insualition value.

Freediving, an underwater leisure sport that involves diving without the use of a breathing apparatus, has gained popularity among younger demographics through the viral spread of images and videos on social media platforms. This study employs prominent Big Data analysis techniques, including text mining, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic analysis, and opinion mining to explore the keywords associated with freediving suits over the past five years. The research aims to analyze the rapidly evolving market trends of freediving suits and the increasingly complex and diverse consumer perceptions to provide foundational data for activating the freediving suit market and developing strategies for sustained growth. The study identified the keyword 'size' related to freediving suits and conducted opinion mining on 'freediving suit sizes'. Although the results showed a higher positive than negative sentiment, negative keywords were also extracted, indicating the need to understand and mitigate the negative factors associated with 'size'. The findings offer vital guidelines for the advancement of the freediving suit market and enhancing consumer satisfaction. This study is important as it contributes foundational data for continuous growth strategies of the freediving suit market.

Social reactions to body exposure in American leisure wear (bathing suits, shorts, and halters) in the 1930s were analyzed to provide an understanding of the process of adopting more abbreviated and less-occasion specific styles of garments in women's fashion. The research questions were as follow: How did women expose their bodies in leisure wear during the 1930s? How did the social reaction to women's body exposure in leisure wear change throughout the 1930s? How did the body exposure in women's leisure wear play a significant role in the history of women's fashion? Primary sources were collected from issues of The New York Times published in the 1930s. Topics including dress, fashion, ethics, social ethics, and sexual ethics, were reviewed in The New York Times indices. The findings were analyzed and interpreted with reference to secondary sources that included books and research papers. The results showed that the body exposure of the styles as well as the place where these styles were worn was a public issue. Women were criticized and regulated for body exposure as well as for wearing bathing suits, shorts, and halters on the streets. However, the social regulations that restricted bathing suit styles almost disappeared by the end of the decade. This represented the change of social expectations toward body exposure in the 1930s. In addition, reports of laws that forbade the wearing of bathing suits, halters, and shorts outside of beaches, pools, and parks indicated women's increased attempts to expose their bodies in public places. However, reactions to women's body exposure in leisure wear changed to accept more flexibility in the social customs throughout the decade. These phenomena were a partial step toward the popularization of less occasion-specific styles - sportswear - that took place in the 20th century.

In the use of the limited color however ancient aesthetical simple purity was well described within the more realistic outline. In those days the cutter who admired the English neo-Classicism removed color-luster and preferred colorless finished dimly and transparently. And thus color of the men's suits become to be also dim colored in los brightness. This means that it did not express pure beauty but brought such effect of the Classicism beauty that the nude itself was figured out.
