The purpose of this study was to offer body suit sizing system for young women aged 18-24. Many anthropometric measurements and other related data form 418 subjects were analyzed by various statistical methods. As a result of cluster analysis, we categorized somatotypes into 3 types: H-type, A-type, N-type as the most common. Subjects was covered 86.5% by KS body suit sizing system and 33.2% by body suit company. So we considered to produce AAA, AA cup size and small size body suit for raising the coverage. As size distribution by cluster analysis, H-type was mainly distributed ${70{\sim}85(AAA{\sim}D)}$ and M, L's hip size. A-type was mostly was ranged ${70{\sim}85(A{\sim}C)}$ and S, M size. N-type was widely showed ${65{\sim}85(AAA{\sim}I)}$ and S, M, L's hip size. Accordingly, it is reasonable to consider size distribution and physical characteristics by these figure types when suggesting sizing system as well as design and production.

Dolbok of trousers and jeogori, baeja or magoja style simply consisted of 2 to 4 units of clothes. It was usually worn by ordinary people, and strongly imaged as common. Dolbok of durumagi or jeonbok style was a combination of 5 to 6 units of clothes and mainly worn by noble and royal families. It was remarkably formal, but quite brilliant. The purpose of this research is to examine track suits which appear in mass media and to attempt to understand their embedded symbolism. Hence, a theoretical inquiry and case study on suit tracks were carried out. The case study was confined to the period since 2000, when sportswear emerged as a megatrend in fashion, to 2012. Occurrences of track suits in film, TV dramas, music videos, advertisements, and fashion collections were examined. Research indicated that the track suits in film or TV drama worked as items to give a change to coordination, material and decoration, so that the track suits highlighted the characters in them rather than emphasizing external factors or their own design. They were used as tools to indicate the sensual and dynamical feminine image in the rap and hip hop genres in music video. They also showed the dynamic image of modern woman via advertisements of sports brands. In the case of celebrity fashion, both inside and outside Korea, they introduced the track suits in a comfortable and sensual manner through both official and unofficial image releases. In the fashion collections, transboundary deconstructiveness was strongly expressed in terms of design, material, color, and production method. The case study in this research indicated that the symbolism in track suits was characterized as transboundary deconstruction as well as value in dynamic femininity, and products from reactionary nostalgia.
This treatise deals with the profitable suit image design of middle-aged men by examining visual effects in physical design. The sample of this study is people who lives in Kwangju, the Republic of Korea and 20-50 age's men and women. And it is very variety in each population statistics factors the differences of associate design visual effect which considering the difference of sex and age group, numbers of button, a figure and material pattern. Firstly, look into the associate design visual effect by sex and button number. In men's group, the style with three buttons was the most attractive and that with two buttons was the least attractive. In 50's group, the style with two buttons was the least attractive and those with 1.3 and 4 buttons were a little attractive. Secondly, in the difference of associate design with sex and shape, men's group was considered that standard type was the most attractive shape, women's group was thought that lean and standard types were the most attractive shape. So we can know that the attractive shape is different with sex. In the difference of association design with age and shape, 20's considered that standard type was the most modernistic and fat type was the least modernistic. 30's considered that lean type was the most modernistic and 50's thought that fat type and standard type were the most modernistic. Thirdly, see the sex and material pattern. In familarity, men's group considered that stripe pattern was more familiar than checks and plain patterns. And they considered that striped pattern and plain was more manly than checks. In sex and material pattern, 20's thought that plain was the most attractive, stripe was the next, and checks was not attractive. 40's estimated that plain and stripe were more attractive than checks. 50's judged that stripe was the most attractive material. Thus. the attraction is different with ages and material patterns.
The realistic plan to establish a silver market in the clothing industries has not taken concrete shape, although the interest in the establishment of a silver market targeting the aged as a new custom group Is gradually Increasing because the rapid development of science and medical technology in the 20th century has led to an extension of lift and improvement of living conditions. The specialized business which produces and sells the clothing for the elderly is of small number and most of the clothes for the elderly are manufactured and sold by the companies for women's clothing in which change the size or length of the original works rather than reflect the bodily features of the elderly. The findings indicated that domestic brands showed the coordinated concept of a suit of jacket and slacks or skirts while the clothes were formed with a variety of coordinations centering around single article in the U.S brands. But, there was no difference in the use of natural materials centering around cotton and silk etc. and in the use of embroidery, lace and decorative details between the two countries. The knit brands of knit suit style in Korea were formed with the items focused on pull over and cardigan twin set, while the U.S brands were mainly formed with the design of knit suit style. The domestic knit brands were mostly developed with complicated patterns and gorgeous colors, while most of the U.S. brands were presenting a single or two tone color suit style and evening one-piece dress with a simple and modern style. The sporty casual brands of sporty casual style in Korea had a variety of colors and patterns focused on function and comfort for diverse leisure activities and daily life, while the U.S brands were established to present a variety of styles with the items of single article because they had a separate brand for casual even though it was not a exclusive brand for the elderly This study has a meaning in the presentation of the design idea considering the bodily shape of the elderly compared to the ready-to-wear considering the size alone, by examining the characteristics of bodice according to the physical change of the elderly women, analyzing the design of madam brand and the style of the ready-to-wear, researching the general circumstances of the brand for the elderly women, and highlighting the necessity of the elderly clothing market.
The purpose of this study were to investigate clothing design preference (style, color, fabric print, kinds of fabrics) & satisfaction with the fit of ready-to-wear clothing for older Men. For this study, the questionnaires were administered to 650 older men in seoul from June to August, 1998. Employing a sample of 504 data were analyzed by mean, frequency and percent. In this paper, an integrated automation system of pattern design and $CO_2$ laser cutting for diving suits is presented. Pattern design includes grading which creates a full-size range from a base pattern. Tool path for laser cutting from the patterns is generated in G-code format. $CO_2$ Laser cutting machine is developed to help cut the patterns with accuracy and speed. Aluminum profiles, ball screws, and stepping motors are engaged into the machine as frame structure, transfer unit, and driving devices respectively. The developed system is tested in dry suit cutting, convincing it can be readily introduced in driving suits manufacturing with respect to cost and efficiency.

In this paper, I will propose a Custom-made Suit Production System. The system does not only help the customers to edit and measure their size by creating the landmarks in the 2D human body images which is taken from the camera, but it also visualizes the virtual cloth by using the landmarks and the modeling data of the virtual cloth. In this system is a new technology for the digital and the automation which is not handmade way of using Custom-made Suit industry. It will be generally useful in the various contents of the clothing industry.
